"Wow. So, he just… Let him go?"
"These days, I'm more pissed at the random people who live there who just don't give the death penalty to that bastard. It's not like there's any shortage of proof that he killed enough people to fill up more than one graveyard."
"Either way, we do have a job to do." Bucky pointed out.
"Gonna put a bullet hole in the moron who left the training machine on later."
"I doubt that it was any of the guys that used to be here. Those I.C.H.P. probably left it on. If we can find out where the machine is though, we can shut it off and make our lives easier."
"In that case… My thermal sensors are picking up movement about… there." He pointed to a building in the distance, "One Xenomorph head, all set and ready to go."
"Let's get this over with." Baron Konrad, AKA: Sabrewulf commented. He and Jon Tailbain were on a hunt for some clues as to what happened. They were hoping for a recording or something on the outskirts of the main city, and had wound up in a forested area.
"Do be careful. I heard that these monsters have acid blood. We can't take them lightly."
"Whatever. Those people told us that these were the last known locations of Orchid and that girlfriend of yours." Sabrewulf commented, "If there's anything that can be found to help us find them, it should be here."
The two kept trekking through the forest. Unfortunately for them, it was getting progressively more dense as they kept moving on.
After a few minutes of moving through the forest, Saburwulf turned his head to Jon, "You smell that?"
Jon took a moment to sniff the air, and he nodded "Bug blood. It seems to want to ambush us."
"Then let's show it who the real hunters are."
Bucky and Jason were investigating the body of the Xenomorph they had recently defeated.
"Well, good news and bad news." Jason muttered, "The good news is that this thing was alone, so there shouldn't be any more nearby. Maybe in farther locations, but definitely not here. Mark this place as 'clear.'"
"The bad news?"
"The bad news is that this thing wasn't born from a human host. The teeth are all wrong. We might be looking at a Xenomorph hybrid."
"Great. As if this wasn't hard enough already. We're already shorthanded as it is, we can't keep doing this."
"Flash and Todoroki are working on some robots to handle outbreaks like these." Jason pointed out, "Once that's done, we can get back to the real issue."
"Right. Then we can look for Cap, Bruce, and the others."
"Goddamn, I even miss Grayson. Don't tell him I said that though."
"No promises." Bucky countered.
"Pathetic. To think that these things could even try to ambush us." Sabrewulf grunted.
"They seem to be coming from that temple over there." Jon pointed out, "If we can destroy it, then the Xenomorphs should also stop as well."
"Indeed."
"Though that still doesn't explain how they got into this world to begin with…"
