"Okay Barry. We're at the ready. With the temporal circuitry that Terminator donated, my own time tech, and Cable's TK powers, we should be able to boost you past the temporal barriers that these black holes are making and let you go back in time to maybe leave a message or something."

"Well, here's hoping." Barry muttered, "Okay guys, ready?"

"I have my powers locked onto you." Cable said.

The Terminator simply gave him a thumbs up.

"Okay then." Barry got into a runner's starting position, "Here's hoping that my speed can do… something. Ready… Set…"

"My Triforce of Power will be providing the power for this device. So when you get there, we will need as many supplies as we can get. So hopefully, this will work…" Ganondorf said.

"Right. Then let us hope that this cross-dimensional transport device works." Mewtwo responded, "Are you sure that your power can be channeled through it?"

"Worst case scenario, I get dragged along with you." Ganondorf shrugged.

"It's amazing what time together can do to improve your personality." Mewtwo noted, "I highly doubt that you would have at all been this personable had we not met in our previous universe."

"You could say the same thing about you… And the others. I miss matching wits with the Hero of Time."

"You mean 'trying.'" Mewtwo countered, "Ganondorf. If I don't make it… Or if I don't come back. I just want to say… It's been an honor to fight both alongside and against you."

"Likewise, Mewtwo." Ganondorf responded, "You truly are a worthy opponent. Now get ready."

"Right."

"GO!" Barry started running. And running. And running. He kept getting faster until he felt like he was at his limit, and then Cable's powers kicked in. He felt a boost of speed. Then Booster Gold's technology activated as well, giving him even more speed. The circuitry from the Terminator's technology was added. And he found himself being teleported.

The machine started whirring. And the power output went up.

"Augh! The power output! It's spiking!"

"WHAT? WHAT'S GOING ON!?"

"I… Don't know! GET READY FOR A POWER SURGE!" Ganondorf warned.

"Ugh… Woah… What is this place? It looks like home, but at the same time… It's not."

"Ugh… What the hell?" Cable groaned as he rubbed his head, "How in the- Did we get dragged back too?"

"Looks like it. Ugh, please tell me my hair's still alright." Booster Gold grumbled.

"It looks like Net City. Except it's in ruins."

"Uh… So did Brainiac show up while we were gone? Because this looks like Brainiac's ship."

The four started to look around. If there was any sign of life, it wasn't here.

"Oh great. Guys, I think we didn't really travel in time, I think we went to another universe."

Booster looked up, "What makes you say that?"

"Well… Does anyone know who this is?"

The other three approached and they started racking their minds to try to find an answer.

"No clue. Damn, how popular is the kid hero trope?" Cable asked.

"It looks like she's in stasis." Flash noted, "Maybe we should look around?"

"Looks like she's in some kind of suspended animation or something. Would taking her out hurt her? We could ask her what's going on."

"I'm not so sure about that. We really don't know…"

"Alright Brainiac, talk. What and where is this place?" Ganondorf held his blade to the Couln's neck. Given that the only functions of the ship were the life support system and artificial gravity, Brainiac had nowhere to really run. Add in the heavy fatigue from coming out of stasis and the lack of a constant source of power, he was also unlikely to turn the tide in his favor at all.

"This place…" Brainiac struggled, "This place is Oblivion."

"The Oblivion Crystal." Mewtwo noted, "Looks like Piper's world follows the Conservation of Energy."

"Indeed, pocket monster." Brainiac noted, "This world is a dimension outside of yours, mine, and all timelines. Given that my timeline had been erased after this had happened, this world did not go with it."

"We're not getting anywhere with this one." Ganondorf said, "Begone." He threw Brainiac into the air and swung his sword, cutting him in half before Mewtwo flung him out with his psychic abilities.

"That won't last long. We should be ready for his eventual return." Mewtwo pointed out.

"Right. His ship wouldn't allow its master to remain dead for long. Did you see the ones that were in stasis?"

"There are a few missing…" Mewtwo noted, "Blake, Bucky, Jason, X, Danny, and Jake."

"Those last three appeared in our world prior to this… Strange phenomenon." Ganondorf pointed out, "Perhaps the same happened with the first three, only they entered the arena after our shift into the other universe."

"Do you think that there is a chance that they have any memories of this timeline?"

"Doubtful. Danny and Jake didn't. At least not in the battles I had with them."

"Well… I guess we're stuck in that other universe until we find a way back to our own."

"Woah! Did you guys see that?"

"Heat signatures indicate that the subject is only partially organic, similar to Cable." Terminator noted.

"Cable, get him down here. We need answers." Barry said.

"Right. Whatever this thing is, coming right up-"

"Brainiac!?"

"Ahh… The Speedster and the foolish time traveler." Brainiac's upper body noted, "To what do I owe the pleasure? Your other comrades have already invaded my ship."

"Wait, other comrades? What is he- Augh!" Barry fell down in pain, looking at his hand, and seeing it dissipate.

"Our time in this alternate whatever is up! Cable! Fling Brainiac outta here!"

Cable used his telekinetic powers to fling Brainiac into the skies at a high velocity, before falling down to his own pain.

"I'll… Be… Back!" Brainiac screamed out as he was flung away.

"We'll have to find a way back to stop him when he does…" Barry commented before disappearing.

*BOOM!*

"Blast it!" Ganondorf grumbled, "We were so close to finding some clues and then we end up back here!"

"It might not be for naught. Before we were sent out, I felt a surge of psychic energy. Cable's psychic energy."

"Seriously? Why didn't he try to find us?"

"Perhaps something about where he is stranded is preventing him from using his own temporal abilities. That would explain how he was in the alternate timeline. But it doesn't explain why he was there in the first place."

"Our experiments… Maybe our portal can only work when his group is also using a method of time travel. He must have been stranded with Flash and Booster Gold!" Ganondorf realized, "Ha! And they say that I lack the Triforce of Wisdom!"

"You technically do lack that part." Mewtwo pointed out, "But that is a good point. We need to find a means of timing our experiments with that of his group's in order to travel back and forth to that timeline. We can enlist Nova and the others' help there as well."

Pinkie: Y'know, we probably should have put a timer on these. At least then, we might have had a sudden death…

Dude: Pinkie, quiet. You're distracting me.

Wade: Yeah. Me too.

Alexis: Chirp chirp tweet?

Pinkie: Eh, sure. Why not? It's not like anything important is going on, and these two seem determined to make their whole "Link vs. Cloud" Smash game last as long as possible.
