"Could you please stop staring at me?"

"Sorry, but it's just… I've never had a chance to see you as a young person." Korra said, "So… Where's Aang? I'd honestly love to see what happens when two Avatars are in the same place at once."

"Who knows?" Zuko shrugged, "Anyways, we have some things to take care of here. I'm doing research on this new creature that appeared out of nowhere."

"Right gotcha. So, why do you think they're in the shopping district?"

"Well, we've gotten reports, and while Wally, Thawne, and Storm are handling the GrimmX… Which are apparently being led by DIO, we go here and get intel on what these things are, and how they work."

"Yeah, remind me why that Thawne guy is helping us. The files said that he was a bad guy."

"He's just here to help us get Barry back. And Wally thinks that some time among heroes would do him some good… Despite everything he's done."

"I'd like to argue that, but I guess it worked out for you, so- AH!" Korra was pulled down and behind a car, "What the-"

"Shh!" Zuko motioned, "They're over there."

Korra peeked over the car, and saw what they were looking for.

"That's it? They just look like some big guys covered in… Whatever that is."

"They remind me of the Beetle-Armored Viruses a bit…" Zuko commented, "Except these look more organic."

"So, what's the plan here? Do we just take them down or something?"

"No, wait. We should try to identify what they are. They look like they're from one series, so maybe they developed powers from another." Zuko commented.

"Or maybe we should stop talking and start hitting them." Korra punched her palm, "What better to figure out how they work than to see how they fight?"

"Seriously?"

"Look, Asami is like… 80% of my impulse control, and you can learn more from a person by how they fight than by just looking at them wandering around." Korra said.

"I hate that I can't argue that." Zuko grumbled, "And I also hate that you have a point about figuring out how they work by fighting them."

"And if death's cheap here, then what do I have to worry about?" Korra pointed out.

"It doesn't stop it from hurting." Zuko stated, "but, that is also a good point." He sighed.

"Great. So let's- hey!" Korra was forced to stay down.

"We're not going to get anywhere if we just run in swinging. We need a plan of attack. And please don't tell me that your plan is just 'attack.'"

"Fine, I won't tell you." She said as she jumped over the car and launched a burst of fire.

"Son of a… This is worse than working with Sarge… And Red Hood… After a round of drinking! Dammit Korra, wait up!"

"So evidently, electricity works on the GrimmX." Ororo noted.

"I don't think we can really classify it as actually working considering that you bombarded it with so much lightning that you overloaded all the light posts within a three mile radius." Wally pointed out.

"Four mile, radius, actually." Thawne said as he ran back in, "Also, I gotta say that these 'Stand Scouters' we found are pretty helpful in, y'know, not flailing around when fighting a Stand user."

"Yeah, the guys from before that weird event really thought of everything."

"Indeed. Though if this is what the people from Blake's world consider terrifying, then I doubt that she could handle being an X-Man."

"Wow. Shots fired." Wally drawled.

Thawne rolled his eyes, "Wally, you watch the damn show. A dog beat one. A dog that, according to the writers, didn't have Aura."

"Okay, that's a point there."

"Honestly, I'm pretty sure that Batman could beat one. And that guy moves so slow!"

"I'm sure that's a matter of perspective." Ororo rolled her eyes.

"Fair point." Thawne said, "But your point still stands, these things are hardly terrifying. I've seen and done shit that would make this sort of thing look like a stuffed animal."

Ororo turned to Wally, "Remind me why he's here again."

"He's here to help us find Barry and I figure that he might mellow out if he hangs around us." Wally said exasperatedly, "I swear, if I have to answer that question one more time, I'm gonna-"

*BOOM!*

"I see Korra and Zuko have engaged their opponents." Ororo deadpanned.

"Ow ow ow!" Korra grumbled, "I can heal myself thank you very much!"

"Yeah, pretty sure that it can't help with blood loss and internal bruising." Barbara shot back, "But thanks for the data. We can confirm that these creatures are the ones that attacked our Senzu garden. So until we get it back up and running, we need to keep you not injured so that we can have a healer on hand at all times."

"Those of us with major healing factors like the Flashes should be fine. And Mickey has some healing spells, so he can handle things when you're unavailable." Gwen noted, "But he's also out in space trying to look for clues to where the others are. So until he gets back, you're our designated healer."

"There has to be a better healer than me." Korra said, "Can't Steven do it?"

"Unless you want to have him spit in your wounds, which is honestly really gross, you're our designated healer."

"At least until Katara shows up." Barbara shrugged, "But we don't have time to wait for your wife from another life, so you're our healer."

Everyone was silent for a moment.

Gwen turned to the woman getting bandaged, "Korra, I will give you fifty bucks if you call Katara that when she does show up… Or to refer to her as that if we ever find Aang."

"Make it seventy-five, and I'll say that to Zuko right now."

"You'll get the twenty-five now, and the rest for later." Gwen said.

"Deal!"

Pinkie: I remember when this story used to be about a bunch of characters getting together to shoot the breeze and occasionally beat up bad guys. Remember those days?

Alexis: Chirp chirp tweet…

Pinkie: Yeah, super good times.
