"Dammit, why won't this thing go faster?" Cloud snarled at the controls, "It's been three hours, c'mon Stark. Don't tell me you got into trouble…"

"I swear, this sort of thing is going to make cleaning my armor a pain in the ass!" Tony grumbled as he kept flying around the different debris and lava spew out from the sea of lava, "Adam, Adora, how are you two holding up in herding all the animals?"

"There are several animals … are natural pr…ors to others, so … had to use …ferent mountains, but we … manage"

Tony sighed, this sort of thing was expected, but damn did it suck. Dodging and weaving through all the attacks the lava serpent was spewing from its pores. It took a lot to just keep ahead of them and to anticipate them.

"This heat is messing with my sensors. Bowser, are you having any luck?"

"IF I WAS HAVING ANY LUCK, I'D TELL YOU!" The Koopa King shouted as he was running up the serpent and trying to attack its scales.

"Well, maybe if you tried using your comms instead of screaming, it would work better. I'm sure even Cloud heard you. And he's in the vacuum of space flying here at who-knows-how fast."

"The heat's… with comm… check in… ter!"

"Dammit!" Tony grumbled, "Alright Bowser. It's you and me. Let's take this thing down!"

"YOU GOT IT!" Bowser shouted as Iron Man picked him up and started carrying him towards the target.

Tony thought for a moment before he spoke up, "Hey Bowser, you teamed up with Logan a few times. You thinking what I'm thinking?"

Bowser's eyebrows rose as he smirked, "Oh yeah. Let's see that throwing arm of yours, Stark!"

Tony smiled under his faceplate, "Alright! One fastball special - coming up!" He spun Bowser until he let go and flung him towards the lava serpent's forehead, which was promptly bashed by Bowser's horned head.

"ALRIGHT, YOU CHARVAARGH RIP-OFF! BRING IT ON!" He screamed, "TONY! I'VE GOT THIS! GET TO GLACIUS!"

"You sure about that?" Tony asked as he launched a few missiles at the lava serpent, "It might be easier to-"

"JUST HELP HIM!" Bowser shouted, "I CAN AT LEAST KEEP THIS THING DISTRACTED!"

Tony hesitated before he flew off to Glacius' location.

"ALRIGHT, LAVA BUBBLE WANNABE! IT'S JUST YOU AND ME!"

Glacius had taken refuge among the highest mountain that they could find, far away from the lava and closest to the vacuum of space, If anything, he was doing better than before, not that it was difficult to be doing better than before. It wasn't

"Bowser told me to check in on you." Iron Man said after landing, "Is this any better? I can always try to get you to the Death Star. Medical equipment and all."

"The battle requires your presence more. But…"

"But what?"

"… My telepathy is sensing something closer to the core. We may wish to keep our guard up."

"The core…" Tony started thinking, "That's disconcerting, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there."

"The real question is… What is going on down there?"

"Like I said, 'cross that bridge when we get there.'" Tony said, "Just stay put. I'm going to help Adora and Adam before I go back to back up Bowser."

"Smartass…"

"I know. Don't worry. The Death Star will be here in no time." Tony paused for a moment, "Never thought that that sentence would be said in the history of ever…"

"Just two more hours." Cloud muttered, "I hope whoever we find can cut down on the time it takes to get from one planet to another…"

In a world where there was no rezzing after death, where it wasn't cheap, where there were consequences for death… He wasn't about to let his friends die again. Not in this world.

Not when he could do something about it.

Pinkie: There's… Do you feel that?

Alexis: Tweet tweet chirp.

Pinkie: Yeah, it feels like… Some sort of weirdness… And I know weird, so this is… advanced weirdness…
