The Bug Creature kept spitting acid at Cloud, who was already in a much more dire position due to his situation and the limited ground they had. Even with Tony's aerial assault on the creature, the battle was decidedly not going in the hero's favor.

Not helping was that the creature was too fast for his Steal Materia to be effective. The intense heat was also making most forms of close quarters combat impossible.

And even Stop wasn't an option, since the creature would always get too much distance for it to be effective.

The creature was smart. It recognized Cloud as a threat, and it knew that the Lava Serpent was their best chance at defeating it.

And both sides knew it.

"He-Man! She-Ra! Attack from the left! Me and Cloud will go from the right! Bowser: You and Glacius go down the middle!"

In their newest attempt, the six heroes attempted to get the creature surrounded to corner it and strike from a good position.

Unfortunately, despite the various magics and the technological capabilities that Tony possessed, their combined might wasn't enough to strike at their foe.

"UGH! This isn't working." Bowser snarled, "And I'm losing more and more footing in this lava pool!"

"Just hang in there. We just gotta stall out until my remote armors can work its repairs on the Death Star's tractor beam." Tony said, "Until then, keep it in the line of sight."

"If we could only just heal that Lava Serpent." Cloud grumbled, "Then it'd be seven on one."

"Well, that thing knows that strategy. So until we can keep it distracted then-"

"What if we get it out of the Death Star's firing range? It won't be able to figure out what our plan is from there."

Tony looked to He-Man and She-Ra who shrugged, "It's not like our other plans have worked."

"It's worth a shot." She-Ra agreed.

"Alright. Then get it out of here. We really need that Serpent on our side, and it's not like my remote armors can make the tractor beam work in ten minutes. Glacius can make platforms now that his cryokinesis is working again, and I can fly. We'll try to head it off. The rest of you give Cloud the cover he needs to heal the Serpent."

"On it!"

Glacius' platforms proved helpful, as it gave Iron Man the footing he needed to use his more powerful attacks, which did actually put the bug creature on its toes, as it struggled to weave through the attacks that ended up being of greater size and strength.

The battle went on enough that the creature was getting noticeably tired. "I believe we almost have it!"

If the battle was proving anything, it was that Glacius' theory was correct. With no way to stop Cloud from healing the Lava Serpent, the bug creature was unable to prevent the swordsman from healing the Serpent.

It was only a matter of time until-

"RRRRGGGHHHHHAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

"Looks like our backup has arrived!" Iron Man exclaimed as the Bug Creature started to act more and more hesitant and couldn't keep ahead of the two heroes.

As the Lava Serpent raged and charged forward, the Bug Creature attempted to flee, only for it to be caught in a tractor beam.

"And it appears that your remote armors have finished their task as well."

"Yeah- Wait. Glacius, was that you? You sound different."

"That… Wasn't me…"

"Then who was…"

"IT WAS ME!" The Lava Serpent appeared at their side, "My name is Agdrackala. Apologies for the trouble earlier, however that parasite had been attacking my insides and I was not in the right state of mind."

"It's okay," Tony replied, "We've all been there. Maybe not the same circumstances, but still."

"I would imagine." Agdrackala replied, "Cloud, was it? If you could be a dear and take that crystal away from this parasite?"

"No problem. Let's see if it can handle a little bit of Steal!" He said as he used his materia and wrestled the crystal away from the Bug Creature.

When it happened, the creature was unable to maintain its increased power, and all the previous injuries it sustained had then returned. From the ripped wing, to the severed arm from before, and with those injuries, it was mostly helpless.

"I vote we finish it off." Bowser snarled.

"After the mess it made it should-"

"No." Agdrackala cut off, "This creature may have been the source of my pain and lack of a better mind, but it was still me who caused the destruction. I cannot put the blame of my actions on anyone, even if they had influence over me."

The heroes all seemed rather exhausted about the whole ordeal, and looked away in shame, but that's when Cloud spoke up, "Says who? Look. I wasn't here for the whole fight. And there's a lot I don't understand about you. But when someone manipulates you, makes you do things that you wouldn't have done if you were in your right mind, then the blame is also on them too. Believe me… I know what that's like. To make things worse all because someone got to your head. But that's why they should be stopped and then you can start making amends."

Tony perked up, "Cloud's right. Whatever that thing is, it shouldn't get off easy. If anything, it should be locked up."

"Well, I… Wait…" Agdrackala trailed off, "This creature is not native to this egg."

"It's not? Wait… 'Egg'?"

"Yes. Egg. This whole place that you call a planet is actually an egg. Deep within the core are my children, who needed a large amount of heat to remain incubated. Alas, the other lifeforms on this planet would be lost, but that is the circle of life."

"I was wondering what that psychic cry was from before." Glacius realized.

"Agdrackala, Cloud and I passed by a planet that had similar conditions to this planet- er, egg. Think you could stop by it and tell us if it's another egg or not? She-Ra and He-Man here want to save the animals."

"I do not need to. This egg is the first of many in many years. My species had been driven to near-extinction by a malevolent force that had attempted many assaults on this world. I know not their name, but I do know that they are powerful. You and your friends also hold a great amount of power. Perhaps you can defeat them."

"I know that we can try." Tony replied, "Are you sure you'll be alright on your own?"

"I am sure. But I would like to know all your names. I would be honored if you would allow my children to be named after you."

"The honor would be ours." He-Man said, "My true name is Adam."

"I go by Adora."

"Tony Stark."

"Cloud Strife."

"I'm the incredibly handsome King Bowser!"

"My friends call me Glacius."

"Thank you. Safe travels, my friends."

Dude: This whole place doesn't feel safe to me…

Wade: Normally I'd make some quip, but… I can feel it too. This doesn't feel good at all.

Dude: Let's keep moving. Maybe we can shake it.
