"Over there!"
The trio of Madara, Yoda, and Storm quickly dispatched another 'Senticon' as they started calling them, this time, with Madara actually managing to decapitate the monster as opposed to destroying the head.
"Good for analysis, this will be."
"For the life of me, I will never understand the decision for your particular way of speech." Madara drawled.
"Save your grievances until after we clear the area of these Sentinel Vehicons." Storm glared, "Our communication devices can also provide a means to analyze these circuits. We could very much find out what they are doing, and what their purpose is."
"Well, get on with it." Madara said, "Those things appear to be looking for something in particular."
"Hold that thought. According to this scan, these things are called 'Senticons.' I presume after Sentinels and Decepticons?"
"Vehicons, perhaps?"
"Makes sense. Those are the drones that they use." Madara pointed out.
"Well, now all we can do is hope that our backup can get here soon to get this to base for a better analysis."
"Hmm…"
"Is something wrong, Yoda?"
"Multiple forms of vision, they have." He quickly turned and deflected a laser blast with his Lightsaber, "Spotted, we have been!"
"Good grief. You'd think that Madara and Aizen would just tear down all these buildings." Wally muttered to himself."
The scarlet speedster kept running in and out of buildings, looking for his friends.
He wasn't exactly having the best of luck.
"This would be so much easier with some help."
"Flash c- ash! Can -ead us?"
"And of course the comms are busted." He muttered, "I can read you, Barb. Just not very well."
"Wha- -an't- -r you. -king up! -rful!"
Wally sighed as he leaned against a car, "Guess I'm on my own here. I guess I'll do another search of the block before- WOAH!"
Choo-chuh-chah-chah-chik!
"Ah. Transforming Sentinel. Of course."
The mechanical monster swiped at Wally, only for the speedster to dodge out of the way and jump on the monster's arm, quickly using his vibrational powers to punch off the robot's head, and cause it to collapse to the ground.
"Damn. If only I had better access to the Speed Force. That thing wouldn't have taken me by surprise."
Choo-chuh-chah-chah-chik!
Wally looked at the nine other transforming Sentinels that just appeared to fight him, and threw up his hands, "Oh, come on!"
"That's the last of them."
"In a group of five, this group appeared in. Hmm…"
"What are you on about?" Madara asked.
"Other groups, we saw. More than five, there were."
"Yoda's got a point. Madara, is it possible for you to-"
"My chakra has been severely limited thanks to these machines. If you were hoping for me to be able to see if they ran to inform other groups or a potential commander, that is not on the table."
"Well, the head we did manage to capture got damaged. So that's a no-go on checking through that." Storm sighed, "Come on. The sooner we can clear out the area to more manageable amount, the sooner we can go back home. I'd like a cup of chamomile tea after all this."
"I'll be sure to share some of my own tea should we be successful." Madara offered.
"A rather reasonable person, you are. Your previous motives, you have abandoned. Why is that?"
"No reason to." Madara shrugged, "It took a while, but I have accepted that people would much rather prefer a cruel reality, rather than a sweet fantasy. That's why you heroes were made. You fight to make reality less cruel, so that false reality is not as appealing."
"And how long did it take for you to realize that?" Ororo asked.
"Longer than I would have liked. Shorter than I would have expected." Madara admitted, "It's the reason why Aiezen and I prefer isolation. We can recognize that our plans were flawed and that there will always be resistance."
"Playing god didn't have the feel that you expected it to?" Ororo ventured.
"Indeed."
"Make one great, power does not. A new path for you and Aizen, there is."
"Hmm…" Madara thought for a moment before being interrupted by a streak of red and a gust of wind.
"About time. It took me forever to find you guys!" Wally complained.
"Flash, was it?" Madara asked, "We are in need of your assistance."
"What do you need me for?" He asked.
"Obviously, these Sentinel Vehicons are coming from somewhere." Madara explained, "There must be some kind of factory or facility of sorts that are creating them."
"Are you sure? The Mynocless and Beetle-Armored Viruses don't come from factories."
"Did you think to look for a source?"
Ororo and Wally both looked guilty.
"Look for a source, we did not." Yoda admitted.
"Then we should start. These beings don't simply appear out of nowhere. There must be a facility or a portal that is leading them here."
"Well, better late than never I guess. Let's start looking."
Dude: I'll take the first watch. You get some rest.
Wade: Thanks, man. Here's hoping we don't find some serial killer out here.
Dude: … Pass me one of your swords.
