When Buck returned to work after the honeymoon, Tommy came with him to catch up with their family since he had the day off. Buck teared up when he noticed the name on both his locker and turnouts had been changed to Kinard. Tommy wrapped an arm around his husband. "Still emotional, Mr. Kinard?" he asked him.
"You're a fucking wreck too," a tearful Buck teasingly shot back. "And it's Firefighter Kinard at work, thank you very much."
Tommy laughed. "Right back at you, Evan."
Caught up in the moment, the newlyweds exchanged a brief kiss before starting to make out right there. They jumped apart, apologizing when Chimney loudly coughed.
It'd happen again, and everybody knew it.
