Tommy disguised himself as a calm, cool, confident person but the mask slipped after the break-up and he couldn't get his walls back up. Even now that he and Evan had reunited after a devastatingly lonely few months, Tommy could not stop weeping. It was embarrassing. "Sweetheart, want to tell me what's wrong?" a worried Evan questioned as he used his thumb to wipe the tears off his boyfriend's face.
"I'm a fucking mess. Sorry," a sobbing Tommy apologized. He needed to get himself back in order but was too emotional for that.
"You have nothing to apologize for," Evan insisted.
They sat there for ages, Evan pulling him in for a hug and refusing to let go.
