Hiromi was worried about her friend, ever since the last job she'd been in a manic frenzy muttering something about a 'breakthrough' and 'perks'...honestly she just chalked it up to typical Motoko weirdness and half expected it to transform into something that would make her friend even more unreasonably terrifying.

But then the gonk just went no contact and Hiromi might have feared the worst if Jun hadn't told her that Motoko had simply locked herself in her room to work on something..

So she'd decided to simply be patient and waited...and waited...and waited. Until finally after a solid week she'd had enough and took matters into her own hands.

Pushing open her friend's door, after announcing herself because she didn't want to startle her friend and get flatlined, she said, "Motoko that's enou-WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!"

Motoko looked up from the...thing she was working on, "A sword." she stated simply, before getting back to making the final adjustments.

As for Hiromi? All she could do was stare in shock as the freaking eye on the 'sword' looked at her, it's fleshy surface writhing slightly as an unnerving yet almost childlike voice said, "hEllO"

Motoko was positively giddy to try out her new baby, sure Mimi wasn't the most conventional of AI weapons (being mostly biotech) but she was certainly something special. Admittedly when she'd initially taken the biotech perk she'd mostly expected to learn how to make custom medicine or maybe a bit of knowledge on bioware, but it turns out that with a bit of time she could whip up something super cool that she was looking forward to trying on someone...like the Maelstrom borgs right below her.

Clutching Mimi's handle she let the bandages Hiromi insisted she wrap the blade in fall away to reveal the biotech sword beneath, Mimi's hyper dense muscle tissue flexing in anticipation of the coming slaughter, the cutie practically giddy to show off how strong she was.

So Motoko dropped down and let Mimi to the talking as she struck, "goOdBYe"

Turns out one swing was all she needed.
