Meanwhile, in the streets of Poitiers, a man accompanied by a young woman was riding in a car during the night.

The man had a fair complexion with a slightly darker and broader beard and his hair was a slight shade of brown. He was wearing a brown suit jacket with a brown and red striped tie and a plain white shirt underneath.

The young woman had a slender figure, fair skin, dark eyes, short cut navy blue hair, and wore round dark-rimmed glasses. She is wearing a professional outfit.

"In just the last few weeks, this Carmen Sandiego has managed to rob millions of euros combined a high-end art gallery in Cairo, and a Shanghai amusement park..." Said the man before being interrupted by his passenger.

" ... Before vanishing without a trace. Headquarters has yet to discern any pattern except that our perpetrator always wears a scarlet coat and fedora and seems to announce her crimes by making random public appearances beforehand." She said.

"Such as the nearby café sighting earlier today. So we must ask ourselves, "who in the world is Carmen Sandiego?" Why would a thief draw attention to herself by leaving clues and wearing bold colors?" Asked the man.

"Perhaps stealing's a game to her." Supposed the young woman.

"Ha! Ha! The game is over. She is in my jurisdiction now, though I question why." Said the man.

"There's another one that intrigues me, Orga." Added the woman.

"I don't have time to listen to stories, Ms. Argent." Said the man.

"He was seen in Tokyo, Berlin, London... it's like he was everywhere Carmen Sandiego went. However, his recent activities are unknown but he always leaves a symbol. The letter Omega, but it seems to be stretched to the right." Explained Ms. Argent, showing a picture with the symbol to the man.

"This Orga is the least of my worries, Ms. Argent. Carmen Sandiego is the main objective of my mission." Said the man with disinterest.

"Okay... Poitiers is rich with medieval history. a priceless antique or historic artifact from one of its many churches, or..." Began to explain Ms. Argent to answer the question that the man had asked rather before the latter stopped the car.

"Ms. Argent, you are an agent of Interpol, not a museum guide. So you may stop sharing dull facts about boring things. You have been on the force merely a fortnight, have you not? You have so much to learn, and since you have been assigned to my department…" He says.

Ms. Argent then looks behind her to see a woman in a long coat and red hat matching Carmen Sandiego's description behind them.

"Um, uh..." She says trying to warn the man.

"I, Chase Devineaux, will be your teacher." Said the man not paying attention to what she wanted to say.

"Inspector Devineaux, sir..." She tried again to warn him.

"Sit back, watch, and learn how to catch a thief..." He said.

"She's right there!" She finally said, pointing behind the car.

"Huh?" He said as he turned at the same time as Ms. Argent to see Carmen Sandiego pull out her grappling hook and climb onto the roof. "La Femme Rouge!" Said Chase before backing up to where he saw Carmen use her grappling hook to see her running from roof to roof.

"Remain here!" He said.

"And radio for assistance?" Asked Ms. Argent.

"No, the crimson ghost is mine!" Replied Chase.

He then started to run away. Meanwhile, Carmen was standing on a rooftop, looking down on the place. She was a young woman with fair skin, scarlet hair, and grayish blue eyes and lipstick.

"On top of the world. I can see La Cathédrale Saint-Pierre from here." Said Carmen.

A beep is then heard.

"Friendly advice? Save the sightseeing for after the job." Says a voice from an earpiece in Carmen's ear.

"Player, glad to hear you're on board." Said Carmen.

Somewhere in the world was Player, a young teenager with dark brown hair, blue-gray eyes and tanned skin. He was wearing a gray and red jacket over a red shirt, with navy blue shorts and gray sneakers.

"You know I wouldn't miss a night out with you for the world, Red. Let's get this party started." He says as he cracks his knuckles, then begins to type rapidly on a computer keyboard.

"Virtual Paris sure looks lovely this time of year. Touring through France, locking onto your position over there in Poitiers... and we're synced. If our intel is accurate, the next stop on your sightseeing tour of historic Poitiers should be... 50 yards dead ahead." Says Player.

Carmen then started running and jumping from roof to roof again.

"How's my temperature?" Carmen asked her friend.

"Warm, Red." Replied Player.

She then continued to run.

"Getting warmer." He clarified.

Carmen then stopped.

"You're red hot." Player added.

Carmen then gets up and pulls out a lipstick that was also a USB drive. She then plugs it into a security power supply as Player starts typing on his computer.

"Analyzing frequencies... Decrypting security codes... Alarm system disabled... But I'm picking up another signal. It could be a trap or someone else. Hey, it could be a security guard." Player explained.

"Let's find out." Said Carmen.

She then goes inside and grapples.

"Watch your step, Red." Said Player.

Carmen then stops.

"Watch my step." Says Carmen.

A trap then activated and fired arrows at her, but Carmen quickly grabbed a shield that blocked all the arrows but almost gave in to the last one.

"Well, this just became worth a whole lot less..." Carmen observed.

For his part Chase kicked open the door and headed for the elevator, which began to rise slowly and creakily.

"Why must the elevator date back two centuries? Was no one ever in a hurry back then?" He says.

Back to Carmen, she looked around.

"Um, Carmen?" Said Player.

"Yes?" She asked.

"I'm getting another signal. It's... someone. Be careful. Someone is in the same room as you." He explained.

She then noticed that a trunk was open and someone who from his silhouette seemed to be a man came out.

He wore a black suit, he wore a black armor with a golden border, he had a big pair of epaulettes, on his breastplate was a red crystal and finally his helmet looked like a Roman soldier's helmet with a red crystal in the center and a visor of the same color and below his belt was a trench coat. Some of the edges of the trench coat, the helmet, and the breastplate had the symbol of the Greek letter Omega.

At his waist was a belt with a brown and black leather strap with a gold buckle appearing to have a black and gold phone with an Omega symbol in the center of the visible side, appearing to be from the early 2000's, hanging from the center. And a place on each side of the waist to hang something. The left side had nothing but the right side seemed to have a golden dagger with two blades and a small empty space between the two.

He then noticed Carmen looking at him. He turned his head to look at her before taking out his weapon and pointing it at her.

Guessing that he is going to attack her, Carmen tries to kick him but he dodges. She continues to attack him but he continues to dodge with a surprising agility considering the imposing appearance of his armor.

They took a break for a moment.

"The Eye of Vishnu. You have it, don't you?" Carmen asked

In response, the man showed her the egg in his free hand.

"Okay, so..." Said Carmen, getting ready to fight.

Then they heard a knock on the door.

"Interpol! Open this door!" Said Chase as he tried to break down the door.

"Bag the gem and get out of there already!" Shouted Player.

"I said open up!" Chase shouted.

Carmen turns around to see that the gem is nowhere to be found. She turns around again to see that the man is gone and was running from the roof.

Then Chase manages to open the door and sees Carmen.

"Stop, thief!" He says.

He yelped as she kicked a stool and jumped on him.

"On whose authority?" She asked.

"On the authority of, uh..." Chase began as he reached into his jacket and found his ID card missing, which Carmen pulled out before reading it.

"Inspector Chase Devineaux, Interpol. "Chase," huh? Let's see what's in a name." She said as she returned his ID card to him.

Chase then tries to catch him but Carmen grabs the open window.

She starts to look around and sees that the boy is still running. Chase then opens a window.

"I order you to stop!" Chase says.

Carmen stops as Chase slowly walks to the side of the window.

"You didn't say for how long." Says Carmen with a hint of mockery.

"Ugh! It was implied!" Said the interpol officer.

Chase continued to chase her as Carmen focused her eyes on the man in armor.

He continues to run as she chases him as Chase runs after her.

They run to another roof and the man stops and tiles fall on the car Ms. Argent was in. She looks up and is surprised to see the man. Carmen also stopped and the man looked at her.

"Open your eyes for the next time." He said, surprising Carmen who could guess that under his helmet he was smiling before jumping, landing on a motorcycle without damaging it and using it to flee.

Carmen looked in the direction the man left, finding his voice familiar. Chase arrived and walked slowly across the roof.

"Au revoir." Carmen said to him before jumping then and using her hang glider to glide away.

Ms. Argent and Chase are both surprised. The roof cracked and Chase slipped, falling head first onto the car. Julia screams and the car alarm goes off. Julia grabs the remote and turns it off.

"Did you just..." Ms. Argent asked.

"Never mind that! Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?" Chase asked, looking in the direction Carmen seemed to have gone.

In the distance, Carmen was still gliding through the air until she followed a railroad line where a train was.

"My train. I'm right on time." She said.

"My train. I'm right on time. Like you ever aren't. Ticket purchased and... uploading." Player said into his earpiece as the phone beeped.

For his part, Chase was still recovering from his fall.

"So it was Orga she was chasing?" Chase asked, remembering the man he saw in front of Carmen as he chased her.

"Yes, apparently." Ms. Argent replied.

"Argh! Two thieves, one problem! Let's forget about it. Where can she be now?" Chase asked.

"She has to land sometime. How far can she possibly get?" Said Ms. Argent.

Chase then thought of something.

"She is heading for the train station. Secure the crime scene! Deduce what was stolen." Said Chase as he got into his car before starting it up and heading to the train station, hoping to catch up with her.

Back in Carmen, she then slipped downstairs and changed, styling her hair into a messy bun a civilian outfit consisting of a black t-shirt, a red hoodie, jeans, and a pair of red and white converse shoes, as the train pulled up. She then boarded the train.

Chase's car came to a stop as the train horn sounded. He grunted and slammed his fist on the dashboard, causing the windshield to shatter and the airbag to go off.

Meanwhile, Ms. Argent was in the elevator until Chase contacted her.

"Inspector. Good news, I hope." She said.

"Ms. Argent... Julia... you're the smartest person I know, so tell me, please... is it possible for an automobile to catch a moving train? Driving aggressively, of course." Asked Chase.

"Well, I'm really not much of a math detective, but I suppose it depends upon how many stops the train makes and for how long at each." Replied Julia.

"Mm-hmm. Then perhaps I shall catch this Little Red Robbing Hood." Deduced Chase before hanging up and getting back on the road.

On the train, Carmen opened a door with the ticket on her phone.

"First class. Sweet." She says.

"My treat, Red. You earned it. By the way, what happened there? I heard fighting." Says Player.

"I got into a fight with someone. He was wearing black armor with the Omega symbol in gold trim with a red gem on his torso and helmet. He also appeared to be a thief." Carmen explained.

"Ooh. I think I know who it is." Said the hacker.

"Really?" Carmen asked.

"Oh, you're going to love this one. From the description you gave me, you just fought Orga." Player explained.

"Who is he?" Carmen asked.

"People say he's a mysterious thief who only comes out at night and steals things from thieves. He's kind of like you but a little bit bigger." Replied Player.

"Hmm. I see." Said Carmen.

In another first class cabin, a young man with black eyes and long white hair tied back with a rubber band, holding a phone that appeared to be Orga's belt buckle, wearing a suit over a coat and a pair of black gloves, was sitting in his chair, looking out the window holding a briefcase in his right hand.

Then his bag shook and a cat poked its head out of the bag.

"After all this time, I finally saw her again...it's been a long time...but does she work for them?" The young man thought as he looked out the train window, remembering his past.
