A/N: This is what happens when you're stuck in a hospital waiting for your brace appointment. I love the Shatter Me series and cannot wait to read Watch Me in April. I don't know what the first oneshot is about but I'm going with it.
I hope you Angels enjoy this Warnette oneshot.
Set after Ignite Me but contains no spoilers for any of the books. This is what an early morning moment between Warnette would look like in my mind.
I wake up to kisses being pressed on the crown of my head and fingertips swirling around over my bare shoulders. I open my eyes and see Warner smiling down at me.
"Morning, love." He says. I blink at him sleepily, a smile spreading across my lips as he bends down to kiss me good morning.
"You're up early." I say after he's kissed me senseless. It's only 5:30 with the sun only making its way up higher into the sky. Warner looks anywhere but at me when he answers me.
"Yeah, I couldn't sleep. Don't worry about it, love." He tells me, kissing my head again. I sigh.
It's not uncommon for us to have nightmares, especially not after all we've been through, but whereas I talk about mine, much to Warner's instance, he bottles his up, refusing to talk about them. It infuriates me to no end.
"Hey, you know you can talk to me about anything. We're in this together." I tell him gently, looking into his eyes. Warner cups my face in his hands before he kisses me softly.
"I know that I can. I love you, Juliette Ferrars." I will never tire of hearing those words come from his lips.
I never thought I could love anyone, not with my lethal touch, then I met Warner and I slowly fell in love with him.
"And I love you too, Aaron Warner Anderson." I reply before I settle my head back on his chest and allow his heartbeat to lull me back into a light slumber until it's time to really be awake with the rest of the world.
A\N: I know it's a short one but it's late and I've not had any coffee in two days and as said above I've had a brace tightening. I'll have a longer Warnette oneshot for my beloved Angels tomorrow. Good night Angels.
