Summary: This is the opening match as Duncan Brooks takes on Lorenzo Hill where the winner will challenge Mike Smith for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship at Spring Fever.

The fans were ready for the matches to start.
"Welcome back fans to Total Drama Wrestling, it's time for the action we kick things off with Duncan Brooks taking on Lorenzo Hill in singles action, where the winner will challenge Mike Smith for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship at Spring Fever which will now be at the TIAA Bank Field." Mauro said before "Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace began to play, before Duncan then came out to loud boos from the crowd, before the bell rang.
"The following contest is set for one-fall, where the winner will challenge for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship at Spring Fever! Introducing first, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 218 Pounds… "The Canadian Delinquent" Duncan Brooks!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Duncan Brooks returns to the ring after a lengthy suspension for flipping off and mooning Daniel King, but also it caused him to lose his spot in the Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out this past Sunday for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship so he's looking to earn another chance at the gold." Mauro said while Duncan walked down the entrance ramp before he entered the ring.
"But will Duncan get the job done against "Hey Brother" by Avicii began to play as Lorenzo Hill came out to cheers from the crowd.
"His opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada… weighing in at 223 Pounds… Lorenzo Hill!" Justin Roberts announced, while Lorenzo Hill walked down the entrance ramp.
"Lorenzo wrestled last in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, now he's wrestling in the biggest singles match he's had so far in this number one contender's match for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship." JR said before while Lorenzo entered the ring, then his music stopped playing, then the bell sounded, beginning the match.
"Here we go JR!" Mauro said before Duncan and Lorenzo grappled in the collar and elbow tie-up before Lorenzo nailed an arm drag to Duncan who responded with a Russian Legsweep, before nailing a Jackie Chan jawbreaker before following that up with a step-up Enzuigiri to Lorenzo.
"Duncan with a flurry of offense on Lorenzo!" JR said before Duncan followed that up with a series of three repeated shoot kicks, to Lorenzo's chest, before nailing a running knee to Lorenzo.
"What a knee by Duncan Brooks!" Mauro said before Duncan then attempted to nail a back-to-belly Suplex but Lorenzo landed on his feet, nailed another arm drag and followed that up with a spinning heel kick to Duncan.
"Lorenzo counters Duncan's back-to-belly with an arm drag and a spinning heel kick, Lorenzo needs to keep this momentum going in his favor." JR said before Lorenzo then nailed a La Magistral pin onto Duncan, before the ref began to count.
"1…! 2…!" The ref counted before Duncan kicked out, Lorenzo attempted another spinning heel, but Duncan moved out of the way, before nailing a brutal running knee to Lorenzo, then Duncan nailed Lorenzo with a snap Suplex, followed that up with a back-to-belly Suplex, then nailed Bloody Sunday which is a Stone Cold stunner.
"Duncan with the Bloody Sunday on Lorenzo!" Mauro said before Duncan pinned Lorenzo before the ref began to count.
"1…! 2…! 3…!" The referee counted as Duncan won the match.
"Here's your winner, and number one contender for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship at Spring Fever… "The Canadian Delinquent" Duncan Brooks!" Justin Roberts announced before Duncan then grabbed a microphone.
"Duncan is going to Spring Fever challenge Mike Smith for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship, what is he gonna say?" JR said before asking Mauro.
"Who knows." Mauro answered JR before Duncan began to speak.
"Mike Smith, we had a war in 2018, which we thought ended at Christmas Miracle, you and I have been at each other's throats forever… it's time that we finally end it at Spring Fever when I take the one thing that you love, more than Zoey, the one thing that you love more than life, the Total Drama Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship!" Duncan said to the crowd, calling Mike out, and threatening to take away the TDW World Heavyweight Championship, causing the crowd to boo.
"At Spring Fever, I want you… inside of a steel cage!" Duncan said as he wanted Mike Smith in a steel cage for the title.
"Oh my God! A Steel Cage match!" JR said to Mauro, before Duncan then threw the microphone down, as his music played, before he left the ring.
"When we come back we will see Eva Hoffman take on Carrie Smith and Laurie Cabrera in a triple threat match to determine who'll challenge "Rowdy" Ali Moonbeam for the TDW Women's Championship at Spring Fever, so don't go away!" Mauro said before the camera faded to black.
