Summary: This upcoming match will see the TDW World Heavyweight Champion Mike Smith taking on "The Storm" Lightning Jackson!

The fans were fired up after what went down between Suzie and Waler, and they were happy after Shawn and Jasmine won the mixed tag team match against Alejandro and Heather.
"Welcome back fans, as we saw Suzie Townshend's soon to be ex-husband divorcing her right in the middle of the ring, leaving her for one of Ali's other aunts, Sabrina Townshend, now enough family drama as we saw Alejandro and Heather go down, as we're going backstage with Sean Mooney who is interviewing the TDW World Heavyweight Champion Mike Smith." Mauro said before the camera went to backstage.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm here with the man who'll defend the TDW World Heavyweight Championship at Spring Fever against Duncan Brooks, the TDW World Heavyweight Champion, Mike Smith!" Sean said while he also introduced Mike.
"Mike, in a few weeks you will be defending the TDW World Heavyweight Championship against "The Canadian Delinquent" Duncan Brooks… how are you feeling?" Sean asked Mike.
"Well Sean, I'm getting ready for what will happen March 22nd at the TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida inside of a steel cage, but tonight my girlfriend Zoey Brown is defending the TDW Women's Tag Team Championship for the very first time with Dakota, I'm nervous and I just want to just take a second to dedicate my match against Lightning to Zoey, I love you so much my beautiful redhead." Mike said to Sean before switching topics and even dedicating his upcoming match to Zoey.
"Well that's sweet but tonight like you said you are facing Lightning Jackson tonight, and how do you feel going into the match?" Sean said before reminding Mike of his match and the opponent.
"So tonight, I'm facing off against "The Storm" Lightning Jackson… or should I say… Rudolph the angry wrestler." Mike said to Sean before revealing Lightning's real first name, being Rudolph, causing the crowd to laugh.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" The crowd laughed, at Mike's joke.
"I know that was corny, but quite frankly Sean… I just don't give a damn." Mike said before he left Sean speechless a bit.
"Well then, JR, Mauro… back to you." Sean said before the camera went back to the announcers.
"What a statement by the TDW World Heavyweight Champion, Mike Smith who looks confident going into Spring Fever just three weeks away, and Ultimate Showdown on March 31st where either Sam Miller will challenge either Mike Smith or Duncan Brooks for the TDW World Heavyweight title, but now enough talk, it's time for the action." Mauro said before "Thunder" by Imagine Dragons began to play, then Lightning Jackson came out to a mixed of the crowd booing and laughing at him, before the bell rang.
"This next match, is set for one-fall! Introducing first, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada… weighing in at 272 Pounds… "The Storm" Lightning Jackson!" Justin Roberts announced while Lightning came down the entrance ramp in a foul mood.
"Lightning came up short this past Sunday at No Way Out, but he hopes to regain some momentum going into Spring Fever which is three weeks away." JR said before Lightning then entered the ring, and grabbed Justin Roberts's microphone away.
"Rudolph!" The crowd chanted making fun of Lightning's first name.
"Now let's get something straight Mike Smith, Rudolph was a red nosed reindeer from the 1960's, Lightning isn't being excluded from any so called reindeer games as we are in March already! So Mike… get your ass in this ring, and get ready for an ass whopping you freak of a Greaseball Fredo!" Lightning said to Mike calling him the Italian equivalent of the N word.
"OHHHHHH!" The crowd shouted before they kept resumed booing but the boos got loud.
"Oh my God! Mike isn't gonna be happy about that." Mauro said before "Demons" by Imagine Dragons played before the TDW World Heavyweight Champion Mike Smith came out to loud cheers from the crowd.
"Introducing the opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada… weighing in at 220 Pounds… the TDW World Heavyweight Champion, Mike Smith!" Justin Roberts announced, before Mike then sprinted to the ring, running through the entrance ramp before he then arrived at ringside before Mike then climbed up to the apron and then nailed a springboard dropkick, followed up by a spinning heel kick.
"OH! A Springboard dropkick by Mike, who obviously isn't happy after saying what Lightning just called him! I wouldn't be happy either!" JR said to Mauro.
"Me neither." Mauro said before the bell rang and the match is officially underway.
"Here we go, this match up is underway." JR said before Mike then looked to capitalize his offense with a handspring cutter aka Terminato but before Mike could connect, Lightning hits him with a powerful Lightning Flash which is a Spear to Mike's back.
"OHHHHH!" The crowd groaned before Lightning grabbed Mike, and then nailed two Lightning Storm powerbombs to him.
"Man! Lightning is really angry after not winning the TDW World TV Title this past Sunday, in Las Vegas." Mauro said before Lightning then posed and taunted to the crowd, before he then grabbed a microphone and decided to cut a premature post match promo, as the match isn't even over yet.
"Lightning has not gotten the cover yet." JR said before Lightning began to speak.
"Baltimore, are you ready… to see another Lightning Storm?" Lightning asked the crowd, who booed right back at him, before Lightning then grabbed Mike who then nailed an inside cradle on Lightning.
"Inside cradle by the champion!" JR said before the ref began to count.
"1…! 2…! 3…!" The ref counted as Mike had pinned Lightning, winning the match causing the crowd to cheer while he got out of the ring.
"Mamma Mia!" Mauro shouted.
"Mike has beaten Lightning!" JR shouted as well.
"Here's your winner, the TDW World Heavyweight Champion… Mike Smith!" Justin Roberts announced before Mike then got his championship belt, while Lightning was throwing a temper tantrum again.
"Mike wins by playing possum!" Mauro said before Mike was at ringside, before he asked for a microphone and was given one.
"I'll be quick because even though I won against a jerk like Lightning, it proves that I can take on anyone, even Duncan Brooks who loves being a criminal… but when we're inside that steel cage, it's going to be a 25-foot steel cage, and one of us will come out on top at Spring Fever!" Mike said before he then went up the entrance ramp with his title belt while the crowd cheered, then his music resumed playing.
"What a statement by Mike Smith, JR!" Mauro said to JR.
"I agree Mauro, but coming up next… is our main event!" JR said back to Mauro.
"The RowdyManiacs take on the TDW Women's Tag Team Champions… Team Besties who won the TDW Women's Tag Team Championships this past Sunday at No Way Out are defending their belts, it's live, and it's next so don't miss it!" Mauro said before the camera faded to black.
