The fans were ready for the main event.
"Welcome back fans as it's time for the main event, as we see Cameron Corduroy-Wilkins take on Duncan Brooks, but first we have an announcement from the commissioner of Total Drama Wrestling, Daniel King concerning who will be the guest of Ali's Pit next Friday Night when we kick off Spring Fever." Mauro said before the camera went to Daniel King's office.
"Ladies and gentlemen, since we'll be live from the EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida… which is also the home of one of the hottest, newest, wrestling promotions in the world today… All Elite Wrestling, Ali's Pit will need to have a very elite special guest, so Ali suggested someone from the roster who is already signed to AEW." Daniel said before he took a sip of water and continued.
"Next Friday Night, Ali's Pit will have one of the most beloved wrestling commentators of all time… ladies and gentlemen, I'm talking about WWE Hall of Famer and current commentator for Total Drama Wrestling… "Good Old JR" Jim Ross!" Daniel announced.
"WHOA! JR!" Mauro shouted.
"That's right, next Friday Night JR will be on Ali's Pit but also… will mark JR's final broadcast in Total Drama Wrestling, before he officially joins AEW… I want to say that Jim Ross has been an incredible part of Total Drama Wrestling, he's called many great matches for not just TDW, but also for the WWE, Jim Crockett Promotions, and countless others… we've been very grateful to have JR, it'll be an amazing night where we honor Jim Ross!" Daniel finished his announcement, before the cameras went back to the announcers as the crowd was surprised.
"How about that JR? You're going to be on Ali's Pit! But Spring Fever will be your final broadcast for Total Drama Wrestling." Mauro asked JR.
"I've had plenty of wonderful memories not just in TDW, but also in the WWE, and with Jim Crockett Promotions, but I'm ready for what challenges await me in AEW, so I'm excited." JR answered Mauro.
"Okay JR, well it is time for our main event." Mauro said before "Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace began to play before Duncan Brooks came out to boos from the crowd, before the bell rang.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your TDW MAIN EVENT! Set for one-fall! Introducing first, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada… he is "The Delinquent" Duncan Brooks!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Duncan Brooks is challenging Mike Smith for the TDW World Heavyweight Championship inside of a steel cage at Spring Fever next week!" Mauro said while Duncan walked down the entrance ramp before he entered the ring.
"Duncan's opponent tonight, Cameron Corduroy-Wilkins is challenging Tyler Helms for the TDW World TV Championship at Spring Fever next Friday." JR said to Mauro, before his music stopped playing, then "High Hopes" by Panic! At The Disco began to play.
"Introducing the opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada… weighing in at 189 Pounds… Cameron Corduroy-Wilkins!" Justin Roberts announced, before Cameron came out to cheers.
"Next week he's challenging Tyler Helms for the TDW World TV Championship!" JR said before Cameron then entered the ring, his music stopped playing before the bell sounded as the match was underway.
"Here we go! It's main event time!" Mauro said before Duncan and Cameron grappled in the collar and elbow tie-up before Cameron attempted the spinning heel kick, but Duncan avoided it and nailed a hard Russian Legsweep to Cameron.
"Duncan with the Russian Legsweep onto Cameron!" JR said before Duncan then nailed Cameron with a snap Suplex before he immediately went for the kill with Bloody Sunday.
"Duncan with the Bloody Sunday onto Cameron this early into the match!" Mauro said before Duncan went for the cover but a similar foe appeared on the titantron.
"Look at this Mauro, it's the TDW World Heavyweight Champion Mike Smith!" JR said to Mauro.
"Hello Duncan, I know we have our championship match next week, but how dare you have Scarlett spit yellow mist into Zoey?! It shows that you're not a real man, it shows how big of a pussy you are! When we're in that cage in Jacksonville… I won't just massacre you, I will FUCK YOU UP!" Mike greeted before confronting him about what happened during Zoey's match, calling him a certain name and threaten Duncan while Cameron used the ropes to get up.
"Cameron's back up after that Bloody Sunday!" Mauro said and then he nailed an springboard enziguiri before leaving the ring and was on the apron.
"Mike said some really strong words." Mauro said before Cameron then nailed the springboard 630 senton, before going for the cover.
"1…! 2…! 3…!" The ref counted as Cameron won the match and defeated Duncan.
"Here's your winner, Cameron Corduroy-Wilkins!" Justin Roberts announced.
"Cameron wins an explosive matchup against Duncan!" JR shouted.
"For JR, I'm Mauro Ranallo… we will see you next Friday Night live from EverBank in Jacksonville, Florida! Goodnight everybody!" Mauro said before the camera faded to black.
