The fans were ready for the action to start, as JR joined Mauro Ranallo and Joey Styles at ringside.

"Welcome back fans as we're coming off an emotional Ali's Pit where Jim Ross was the guest, Ali completely burned Carrie Smith, the Mahon Twins and her Ultimate Showdown opponent Dawn Menzel, and it looked like Ali and the rest of TDW were prepared to say goodbye to you, didn't it look like that JR?" Mauro said before asking JR.

"Well, it did and I'm grateful to Ali and to TDW, but now it looks like even though I'll be working for AEW full time, I'll also still be doing TDW but on a special occasion, Tony and Daniel worked everything out during commercial break so let's not waste anymore time talking it's time for the action to start." JR explained to Mauro before telling him to not worry about it as it was time for the action to begin.

"Oh hell yeah JR! We have a great title match, the first of five title matches as we will see Tyler Helms defend the TDW World TV Championship against Cameron Corduroy-Wilkins." Joey said before the bell rang.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, our opening contest set for one-fall, it is for the TDW World TV Championship!" Justin Roberts announced as the crowd roared, before "Till I Collapse" by Eminem began to play, then Tyler Helms came out to loud cheers from the crowd.

"Introducing first, from London, Ontario, Canada… weighing in at 202 pounds… he is the TDW World TV Champion… Tyler Helms!" Justin Roberts announced, while Tyler walked down the entrance ramp, high-fiving the fans, before he entered the ring.

"Tyler Helms won the TDW World TV Championship at No Way Out last month in Las Vegas, inside the Elimination Chamber… he got lucky in Vegas but will he keep that momentum going against Cameron Corduroy-Wilkins?" Joey said before asking JR and Mauro.

"Well Joey, this is Tyler's first title defense since winning the championship… so it could go either way." Mauro answered Joey.

"Joey, I agree with Mauro, it could go either way… but I expect this to be a good opener." JR said before his music stopped, then "High Hopes" by Panic! At The Disco began to play before Cameron came out to cheers.

"Introducing the challenger from Toronto, Ontario, Canada… weighing in at 189 pounds… Cameron Corduroy-Wilkins!" Justin Roberts announced.

"Cameron was close in Las Vegas… but will he be able to win the match and the TDW World TV Championship? We don't know, we are about to find out." Joey said to Mauro and JR before Cameron entered the ring, the referee raised the championship belt up high before the bell sounded and the match began.

"Here we go! TDW Spring Fever is officially underway!" Mauro said before Tyler and Cameron grappled in the collar-and-elbow tie-up for a bit before Cameron nailed an arm drag to Tyler.

"Arm drag by Cameron Corduroy-Wilkins." Joey said before Tyler then immediately responded with a hard and brutal running clothesline, before following that up with an even harder straitjacket German Suplex.

"Tyler follows that up with a straitjacket German Suplex!" Mauro said before Tyler pinned Cameron.

"1…!" The ref counted before Cameron got his shoulder up, then Tyler attempted another German Suplex but Cameron landed on his feet, and nailed Tyler with an enziguiri to the back of Tyler's head, before following that up with a blue thunder bomb to Tyler.

"Blue Thunder Bomb by Cameron after nailing the enziguiri, Cameron has Tyler right where he wants him!" JR shouted before Cameron then irish whipped Tyler into the corner before nailing a hard uppercut to Tyler.

"OHHHHH!" The crowd groaned before Cameron then nailed a monkey flip, before following that up with a hard punt kick to Tyler's gut, before nailing a La Magistral pin going for the win.

"1…! 2…!" The ref counted before Tyler kicked out and was met with a hard backhand slap by Cameron who nailed another blue thunder bomb to Tyler before going up to the top turnbuckle.

"Cameron's up on top! Is he gonna nail the 630?" Joey said and asked before Cameron tried it but Tyler moved out of the way, then Tyler nailed another running clothesline before following that up with the "Athlete Buster" finisher which is an Argentine Facebuster.

"Tyler hits Cameron with the Athlete Buster! This could spell the end of Cameron's night here in Jacksonville." JR said before Tyler then pinned Cameron.

"1…! 2…!" The ref counted before Cameron kicked out at two.

"It is not over yet!" Joey shouted, while Tyler picked Cameron up, before he attempted another running clothesline to Cameron who then countered with the crucifix pin.

"Crucifix!" Mauro shouted before the ref began the count.

"1…! 2…!" The ref counted before Tyler got his shoulder up at two, then Cameron attempted a spinning heel kick but Tyler avoided it, before nailing the Athlete Buster again.

"Tyler with the Athlete Buster! Could this be it!" Joey shouted before Tyler pinned Cameron.

"1…! 2…! 3…!" The ref counted as Tyler won the match and retained the TDW World TV Championship.

"Your winner of this match and still the TDW World TV Champion… Tyler Helms!" Justin Roberts announced.

"What a match to kick off TDW's Spring Fever! Tyler Helms has picked up a momentous win going into Ultimate Showdown less than two weeks away!" JR said to Mauro and Joey.

"This was just a physical wrestling match!" Mauro said before Tyler and Cameron shook hands, with the crowd applauding both men for their efforts.

"When we come back we will see Tom Williams defend the TDW Intercontinental Championship against Jay Morris in a rematch from No Way Out! Don't go away!" Joey said before the camera faded to black.
