Chapter Six: Morning Reflections and Unspoken Rivalries

In the early morning light, Saruyo stirred awake beside Naruto, her sharp senses pulling her out of slumber before the alarm. She turned her head slightly, noticing Naruto's hand resting on her chest over her soft silk nightgown. Her cheeks flushed faintly, but she quickly composed herself, rolling her eyes slightly as she thought, "He's insatiable, even in his sleep." Gently, she moved his hand aside and slipped out of bed, her movements as graceful as ever.

The bathroom tiles were cool beneath her feet as she stepped into the shower. The warm water cascaded down her body, soothing her muscles and clearing her mind. As she washed her hair, she thought to herself, "Living here with Naruto and Kushina... it's so different from the emptiness I once knew. It's almost... comforting." Yet, even as the thought crossed her mind, a dark shadow loomed in her memories, pulling her back to a place she often tried to avoid.

Her grip on the toothbrush tightened as her mind replayed the moment she dreaded most. The past... It always found a way to resurface.

.

Flashback

A much younger Saruyo, full of innocent energy, skipped home after school. Her small hands clutched a drawing she'd made that day, eager to show her mother. "Mom! Mom! Guess what I drew today?" she called out as she opened the front door, her voice echoing through the large, eerily quiet house.

There was no response. Her excitement dimmed slightly, but she pressed on. "Dad? Big brother? Is anyone home?" she called, wandering through the spacious hallways. Room after room was empty, the silence growing heavier with each step.

Finally, she reached the last room—her parents' bedroom. The door was slightly ajar, and something inside made her heart race. Slowly, she pushed it open, and the sight before her made her freeze in horror.

Her mother and father lay lifeless on the floor, their bodies riddled with bullet wounds. Crimson blood pooled beneath them, soaking into the once-pristine carpet. Her small hands trembled as she clutched the doorframe, her knees threatening to give way.

"M-Mom? Dad?" she whispered, her voice cracking as tears welled up in her eyes. She stumbled forward, falling to her knees beside them, her hands shaking as she reached out to touch her mother's cold face. "No... this can't be real. This can't..." Her sobs grew louder as despair consumed her.

A sudden sound made her spin around. Standing in the doorway was her older brother, Itachi. Relief flooded her momentarily. "Itachi! Thank goodness!" she cried, scrambling to her feet. *"Mom and Dad... someone hurt them! We have to call for help!"

But instead of rushing to her side, Itachi stood still, his expression unnervingly calm. Then, a smirk curled on his lips.

"There's no need to call for help, Saruyo," he said in a voice as cold as ice.

Her breath hitched. "What... what do you mean?" she asked, her voice trembling.

"I did it," he said simply, as though he were commenting on the weather. *"I killed them."

Her world shattered in an instant. "W-What? No... you're lying! You're lying!" she screamed, stumbling backward. But his expression didn't change.

"You're so naive, little sister," he said, taking a step closer. *"I needed to test my skills. They were the perfect targets."

Her tears blurred her vision as rage and heartbreak consumed her. *"You... you monster! Why? You were supposed to protect us! You were supposed to protect me!"

Itachi tilted his head, his smirk never faltering. *"You wouldn't understand, Saruyo. And honestly, I don't care if you do."

"Then do it!" she screamed, stepping closer to him, her small fists clenched. "Kill me too! Go ahead! Finish what you started!"

Itachi raised his gun, aiming it at her without hesitation. For a moment, she thought it was the end. But instead of pulling the trigger, he struck her with the butt of the gun, hitting her hard enough to knock her unconscious.

Saruyu suddenly opened her eyes, breathing heavily as she gripped the edge of the bathtub. Her reflection stared back at her, but all she could see was the terrified little girl she had once been.

"Itachi..." she muttered under her breath, her voice trembling with a mix of rage and sorrow. Her hands clenched into fists as she whispered, *"You took everything from me. One day, I'll make you pay for what you did."

She exhaled sharply, forcing herself to regain composure. As she walked out of the bathroom, her usual icy demeanor had returned, her emotions buried beneath a mask of indifference.

Naruto was still asleep, blissfully unaware of the storm raging inside her. She glanced at him, a faint warmth flickering in her chest. "I won't let the past consume me," she thought. "Not when I have people worth protecting now."

She leaned down, gently brushing a strand of hair from his face. "You're the only thing keeping me anchored, Naruto. Don't ever change."

As she straightened up, the resolve in her eyes hardened. She would face her demons, no matter how long it took. Itachi's time would come. Of that, she was certain.

Naruto woke up slowly, stretching his arms and letting out a soft yawn. He glanced around, still feeling a faint blush creep up his cheeks as memories of the previous night returned to him. After freshening up, he dressed in a simple yet striking white-and-black outfit that highlighted his lean yet strong frame. Today was going to be another eventful day, especially with Saruyo around.

Saruyo emerged from her room shortly after, capturing Naruto's attention instantly. This time, she wore a stunning red dress—a bold departure from her usual preference for black. The dress hugged her figure perfectly, accentuating her flawless curves. Her ample chest, which Naruto still couldn't stop blushing about, was subtly concealed but hinted at beneath the elegant fabric. The dress flared slightly at her hips, drawing attention to her perfectly shaped waist and full figure. Her long, toned legs seemed to go on forever, and her black silk hair flowed effortlessly down her back, shining with a lustrous sheen. To complete the look, she applied a deep red lipstick that made her lips all the more enticing.

Naruto, trying his best not to stare too much, felt his face grow redder with every passing second. He couldn't help but notice how different she looked in colors other than black. It was as though her relationship with him had unlocked a softer side of her—one that she expressed even through her choice of clothing.

Saruyo caught him staring and smirked, leaning in to plant a firm kiss on his lips. The lipstick left a faint mark, making his blush deepen even further. "Get used to this, Naruto," she said confidently. "Soon enough, we'll be taking things to the next level. So, you better prepare yourself."

Naruto stammered, unable to form a coherent response, and simply nodded. His flustered expression only seemed to amuse Saruyo more as she patted his cheek and added, "You've been learning well. I've chosen you for a reason, after all. Don't disappoint me."

During breakfast, Kushina joined them, her cheerful demeanor adding warmth to the morning. She smiled at Saruyo and said, *"You look absolutely stunning today. Naruto has good taste, doesn't he?"

Saruyo, with her usual air of pride, responded, "Of course. He chose me, after all."

Kushina chuckled, clearly amused by the Uchiha's trademark arrogance. But beneath that proud exterior, she could see that Saruyo had a good heart. After they finished eating, Saruyo took Naruto's hand in hers and declared, *"Let's go."

As they got into Saruyo's sleek black car, Naruto couldn't help but glance at her from the passenger seat. She was focused on the road, one hand on the steering wheel and the other casually resting on the gearshift. Her confidence and elegance were undeniable, but Naruto's thoughts wandered beyond her icy demeanor.

"She's so much more than what she lets people see," he thought to himself. "She loves video games, supports the village's community, and even cheers for Barcelona. She takes care of the orphanage kids and has such a fiery passion when she plays. She's competitive and gets so worked up when she loses. And yet, she's still the most beautiful person I've ever met."

Lost in his thoughts, Naruto didn't realize he was staring until Saruyo's voice snapped him out of it.

"Daydreaming again, are we, Naruto?" she teased, her tone carrying a hint of arrogance. *"What could possibly be on your mind?"

Naruto fumbled for words, eventually managing to reply, *"Just... you, Saruyo-sama."

Saruyo's smirk softened into a genuine smile, though her prideful air remained. "You're lucky, you know. Not everyone gets to be with someone like me. Consider yourself blessed."

Naruto nodded, his cheeks flushing again. "I do. I really do."

Meanwhile, Saruyo's thoughts drifted elsewhere. She couldn't help but think of Ino Yamanaka, the girl she knew had her eyes on Naruto. "That foolish girl doesn't know who she's dealing with," Saruyo thought with a sharp edge to her smirk. "If she tries anything, she'll regret it."

Naruto, oblivious to her inner monologue, simply admired the determined look on her face. To him, Saruyo was an enigma—a person of unmatched beauty, strength, and complexity. And as the car sped through the streets, he couldn't shake the feeling that there was so much more to her than even he understood.

The day ahead promised new challenges, but with Saruyo by his side, Naruto felt ready to face anything.

Ino sat in the driver's seat of her sleek purple car, her fingers tapping impatiently on the steering wheel. Her phone's glowing screen rested in the holder beside her as she dictated into a voice app connected to an AI assistant. Her tone was sharp and tinged with frustration.

"How do I get a special guy—one who's already with a strong, untouchable girl?" she asked, her words trailing off as her thoughts raced. She paused, waiting for the AI to respond.

The synthesized voice replied after a brief pause, "Why waste your time? Find someone else."

Ino's jaw dropped, and she slammed her hand on the steering wheel. "Stupid AI! You're useless!" she snapped, her voice echoing in the enclosed car. Shaking her head, she muttered, "I'll figure this out on my own."

As she resumed driving, her mind wandered to the past. Faces of ex-lovers flickered in her memory, each one bringing a wave of bitterness. "Those jerks," she whispered to herself, gripping the steering wheel tightly. Yet, amidst the sea of regret, a single face stood out: Naruto's.

She hadn't truly noticed him until he began dating Saroi, the famed and untouchable "Ice Queen" of the campus. At first, it was curiosity that drew her attention to him. She had watched him from a distance, his shy demeanor and gentle smiles stirring something unexpected within her. What began as mere intrigue had blossomed into something far deeper. For the first time, her feelings weren't fleeting or superficial.

"This is different," she whispered to herself, her grip on the steering wheel loosening. "This isn't just about fun. It's real."

Her car came to a stop at a red light. Ino adjusted the rearview mirror, catching a glimpse of herself. Her golden locks framed her striking features, her bright blue eyes shining with determination. She knew she was beautiful—her curvaceous figure and radiant confidence had always turned heads. But then her thoughts shifted to Saroi, whose beauty and presence seemed almost otherworldly. Saroi's figure was no less captivating, her aura commanding, her elegance unmatched.

"Even so," Ino murmured, her eyes narrowing. "I'll find a way."

The light turned green, and she pressed on the gas, her resolve solidifying. As she turned into the campus parking lot, she spotted them—Naruto and Saroi, stepping out of Saroi's sleek black car. Saroi's crimson dress clung to her figure, the deep hue accentuating her pale complexion. Her hand was wrapped around Naruto's, and as they walked, she leaned in to place a soft kiss on his cheek.

Ino parked her car at a distance, watching the scene unfold. Her chest tightened, and her hands balled into fists on her lap. "You'll see, Saroi," she muttered under her breath, her voice laced with defiance. "I'll show you."

Saruyo's icy fingers tightened around Naruto's hand, her touch cold as ever but strangely grounding. She tilted her head slightly, her piercing eyes meeting his.

"Listen," she began, her tone cool and indifferent as usual, "I just realized… I forgot to go to…" She paused for dramatic effect, her lips curving ever so slightly into a smirk.

"To what?" Naruto asked, his voice tinged with concern.

Saruyo leaned in closer, her cold breath brushing against his ear, sending a shiver down his spine. "The bathroom," she whispered, her voice as smooth as silk.

Naruto's cheeks immediately turned bright red. "O-Oh! Uh, okay…"

Saruyo thrust her bag into his hands without ceremony. "Hold this for me."

Naruto nodded, still flustered. "Sure, Saruyo-sama."

She stepped away but paused, glancing back over her shoulder. Her sharp gaze locked onto his. "Will you miss me while I'm gone?"

Naruto's embarrassment deepened. He hesitated, fidgeting awkwardly before managing to stammer, "Y-Yeah… I guess…"

Saruyo's lips curved into a teasing smirk as she leaned close to his ear again, her voice dropping to a sultry whisper. "Then… come with me," she said in a tone so suggestive that Naruto felt his knees wobble.

His eyes widened in shock. "W-What?!"

Saruyo straightened, her expression utterly unreadable. Then, with a light chuckle, she added, "I'm kidding." Without another word, she turned and walked away, her footsteps light but purposeful.

Naruto clutched her bag tightly, his heart pounding furiously. "Saruyo-sama is so intense…" he muttered to himself.

However, Saruyo had no intention of going to the bathroom. Once inside the building, she stopped near the window, a sly smirk spreading across her face. She positioned herself carefully, peering out just enough to observe the courtyard.

Her eyes narrowed as they landed on the figure of Ino Yamanaka, who stood not far from Naruto. Saruyo's sharp instincts told her Ino had been waiting for a moment like this—waiting for Saruyo to leave Naruto's side.

True to Saruyo's suspicions, Ino approached Naruto, her steps tentative at first but growing more confident. Saruyo's smirk deepened as she leaned against the windowsill, watching intently.

"Finally, he's alone…" Ino murmured under her breath, her cheeks flushed. She hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath and walked up to Naruto, who was sitting on one of the benches.

"Hi, Naruto," Ino said, her voice light and friendly, though there was a faint tremor of nervousness beneath it.

Naruto looked up, startled. "Oh! Uh, hi! You're… Ino, right? The girl I bumped into yesterday?"

Ino nodded, her smile brightening. "Yep, that's me. You were so sweet helping me pick up my books."

"Oh, it was nothing!" Naruto said quickly, scratching the back of his head.

Ino took a seat beside him, her movements deliberate. "You're even cuter up close," she murmured, almost to herself, but loud enough for Naruto to hear.

Naruto's face turned an even deeper shade of red. "C-Cute?!"

"Sorry," Ino said, though her tone didn't sound particularly apologetic. She placed her hand lightly on his arm. "I just… you're really different, you know? In a good way."

Naruto swallowed hard, completely overwhelmed. "Th-Thank you…"

From her vantage point, Saruyo watched with narrowed eyes, her lips pressing into a thin line. The corners of her mouth quirked into a small, calculating smile as she saw Ino inch closer to Naruto, her body language unmistakable.

Ino leaned in, her shoulder brushing against Naruto's. "You know, Naruto," she began, her voice soft and inviting, "the weather is so nice today."

"Y-Yeah," Naruto agreed, his voice barely above a whisper.

"And you," Ino continued, her tone dripping with a mixture of sweetness and boldness, "you're one of a kind."

Ino shifted closer to Naruto on the bench, the distance between them shrinking until their bodies brushed against one another. She glanced sideways at him, her cheeks slightly pink, though her eyes sparkled with a mix of mischief and intent.

Naruto, already uneasy, felt his heartbeat quicken as Ino's shoulder pressed against his. "Ino… y-you're a little close…" he stammered, his voice trembling.

"Oh!" Ino exclaimed, feigning surprise as she pulled back slightly, her lips curving into a small smile. "I'm sorry, Naruto. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

But the glimmer in her eyes betrayed her. She leaned forward again, her lips just inches away from his ear. "It's just… my dress," she said, motioning to the zipper along the back of her dress. "The zipper won't close properly. It's right here—" she paused, gesturing toward the top of her chest, just above her breasts, where the zipper sat open.

Naruto's face turned crimson as he realized exactly what she was asking. "W-Wait, you mean you want me to—?"

Ino nodded, her expression sweet but calculated. "Please, Naruto. I can't do it myself, and I don't want to ask anyone else." She leaned forward slightly, emphasizing the exposed area.

Naruto gulped, unsure of what to do. "O-Okay…" he mumbled, hesitantly reaching out to grasp the zipper.

As he struggled to pull it up, Ino shifted, her body pressing against his hand. Naruto's hand accidentally brushed against her chest, causing him to recoil immediately.

"I-Ino!" he yelped, his face burning with embarrassment.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Ino said quickly, though her tone carried a hint of amusement. "I didn't mean to move like that."

She leaned closer, letting her lips brush lightly against his cheek. "Thank you, Naruto. You're my hero," she whispered, her voice soft and sweet.

Meanwhile, inside the building, Saruyo had seen enough. From her vantage point, she had watched Ino's every move, her sharp, calculating gaze taking in all the details. Her suspicions were confirmed—Ino wasn't just being friendly.

Saruyo straightened, her lips curling into a cold smirk. "So, that's her game," she murmured to herself, brushing off her dress—a tight, crimson outfit that hugged her curves perfectly, emphasizing her long, shapely legs and graceful posture.

Stepping out of the building with her usual calm confidence, Saruyo made her way toward Naruto. The sight of Ino sitting so close to him only fueled her determination.

"Naruto-kun," Saruyo called out, her voice cold but tinged with something almost affectionate.

Naruto turned his head, startled. "S-Saruyo-sama?"

It was the first time she had ever addressed him with such familiarity, and the sound of "Naruto-kun" from her lips made his heart skip a beat.

Saruyo approached with measured steps, her red dress catching the sunlight. Her eyes briefly flicked to Ino before she extended a hand toward Naruto. Without waiting for him to react, she leaned down and pressed her lips to his in a bold, deliberate kiss.

Naruto froze, his mind racing. The kiss was firm and assertive, Saruyo's lips moving with a confidence that left no room for doubt. For a brief moment, her tongue teased against his, and he felt his entire face burn with embarrassment.

Ino's jaw dropped as she watched the scene unfold, her initial shock quickly giving way to a simmering jealousy.

When Saruyo finally pulled away, she turned to Ino, her expression as cold as ice. "Oh," she said, her tone dripping with mock surprise, "and who are you?"

Ino quickly masked her anger with a polite smile. "My name is Ino Yamanaka."

Saruyo's gaze swept over her, unimpressed. "Ino, huh?" She extended her hand briefly in a show of civility. "Nice to meet you. I'm Saruyo."

Her voice carried a sharp edge as she added, "You know, Naruto is very important to me."

Naruto blushed furiously, unsure of what to say.

Saruyo's eyes narrowed slightly as she continued, her tone dropping an octave. "And just so we're clear—if any girl even thinks about taking him from me, I'll destroy her."

Ino's smile faltered for a split second, but she quickly recovered, laughing nervously. "O-Of course. I wouldn't dream of it."

Saruyo's lips curved into a thin smile. "Good. I'm glad we understand each other." She turned back to Naruto, her demeanor softening just enough to unsettle him. "Come on, Naruto-kun. We have a busy day ahead."

Without waiting for a response, she leaned down and kissed him again, this time more slowly, as if to make a point. Naruto's mind was spinning, his embarrassment reaching new heights.

As Saruyo took Naruto's hand and led him away, Ino clenched her fists at her sides, her nails digging into her palms. Her polite façade crumbled as soon as they were out of sight.

She turned and slammed her fist into the wall, the impact drawing blood. "That… that bitch," she hissed through gritted teeth. Her chest heaved with anger as she glared at the empty bench where Naruto had been sitting moments ago.

"I'll get him," Ino muttered, her voice low and filled with venom. "I'll take him from her… no matter what."

In the dimly lit corner of the campus, Sakura leaned against the wall outside the lecture hall, her arms draped around Sai's neck. His lips brushed against hers in a kiss that was both tender and passionate. Sai's hands rested lightly on her waist, and for a moment, it felt as though the rest of the world had disappeared.

When they finally pulled away, Sakura smiled softly, her cheeks flushed. "Sai," she murmured, her voice filled with affection.

But her smile quickly faded as she caught sight of Ino storming across the courtyard, her fists clenched tightly and blood dripping from her knuckles. Her expression was a mix of anger and despair, and her steps were purposeful as she headed toward the main lecture hall.

"Ino!" Sakura called out, concern lacing her voice.

Sai followed her gaze, his brow furrowing. "Your friend looks furious," he remarked.

Sakura nodded, her lips pressing into a thin line. "She's been like that lately… ever since she started looking for 'real love.'"

Sai tilted his head, intrigued. "Real love?"

"Yes," Sakura sighed, leaning back against the wall. "Ino's been through so many relationships, just jumping from one guy to the next… It was all meaningless to her. But about a month and a half ago, she decided to stop. She swore she wouldn't date anyone unless she found someone who truly mattered to her."

Sai raised an eyebrow. "And now she thinks she's found that in my friend, Naruto?"

Sakura nodded slowly, her expression troubled. "I think so. But… Naruto's with Saruyo. And Ino… she deserves to find happiness, too. I just hope she doesn't do anything reckless."

Sai let out a small laugh, trying to lighten the mood. "Naruto is naturally attractive. I've known him since we were kids. He's shy, but he's a good guy. Honestly, though, I'm not surprised he became so popular after he started dating Saruyo Uchiha—the famous Ice Queen."

Sakura exhaled deeply, crossing her arms. "Yeah, Saruyo's reputation definitely added to that. But… I'm worried about Ino. She's never been this intense before."

Sai placed a hand on Sakura's shoulder, offering her a reassuring smile. "She'll figure things out. Everyone does eventually."

Sakura smiled back, leaning in to kiss him once more. "I hope you're right. Anyway, I have to get to my lecture. See you later, Sai."

"Goodbye," Sai replied, watching her walk away. He adjusted his bag and turned toward the other lecture hall, where he had his next class.

As Sai entered the hall, his eyes scanned the room. To his surprise, he spotted Naruto sitting near the back with Saruyo by his side. Naruto seemed flustered, as usual, while Saruyo exuded her typical aura of icy confidence, her crimson dress clinging perfectly to her figure.

Sai's face lit up as he strode toward them. "Naruto!" he called out, his voice warm and excited.

Naruto looked up, startled. "S-Sai?"

Before he could say anything else, Sai pulled him into a tight hug. "I've missed you, my friend!" he said with genuine enthusiasm.

Naruto's face turned bright red, and he stammered, "W-Wha—Sai, you're embarrassing me!"

Saruyo's sharp eyes narrowed at the stranger who had dared to touch her boyfriend without permission. She said nothing, but her presence alone radiated an unspoken threat.

Sai pulled back, smiling. "It's been ages since we hung out. Ever since you started dating Saruyo, it's like you disappeared off the face of the earth!"

"I-I've been busy," Naruto mumbled, scratching the back of his head.

Sai laughed, ruffling Naruto's hair. "You've changed, Naruto. You're more confident now. Dating the Ice Queen really transformed you, huh?"

Naruto's blush deepened. "It's not like that!" he protested.

Sai smirked, leaning in closer. "So… have you and Saruyo, you know… done it yet? If not, I can give you some tips. I've had plenty of experience with Sakura—"

The temperature in the room seemed to drop as a chilling voice cut through the air.

"Leave," Saruyo said, her tone cold and emotionless.

Sai froze, the hairs on the back of his neck standing on end. He turned to face Saruyo, who was now glaring at him with an intensity that could pierce through steel.

"W-What?" Sai stammered, trying to maintain his composure. "I'm just talking to my friend—"

Saruyo's eyes narrowed further, and her voice dropped even lower. "If you don't leave right now, I'll kill you."

The venom in her words sent a shiver down Sai's spine. He took a step back, holding up his hands defensively. "Alright, alright! I'll go. Geez, no need to be so scary."

He turned to Naruto, offering him an awkward smile. "See you around, buddy." Then he hurried out of the lecture hall, muttering under his breath about Saruyo's terrifying presence.

As soon as Sai was gone, Saruyo turned to Naruto, her icy expression softening slightly. She grabbed his hand and pulled him closer, forcing him to sit beside her.

"Naruto-kun," she said, her voice quieter now but still firm, "don't let anyone else get this close to you. You're mine."

Naruto's face burned as Saruyo leaned into him, her crimson dress brushing against his arm. He could feel her warmth despite her frosty demeanor, and it made his heart race uncontrollably.

Meanwhile, across the hall, Ino sat near the window, bandaging her bleeding hand. Her eyes were fixed on the couple, her gaze burning with envy and resentment.

"I'll take him," she muttered to herself, her voice low and full of determination. A slow, wicked smile spread across her face. "I'll make sure he never leaves my bed."

In the crowded lecture hall, the sunlight streamed through the tall windows, illuminating the rows of students seated in anticipation of Kakashi Hatake's lecture. The renowned professor stood at the front, his usual calm demeanor radiating authority as he adjusted his notes.

Among the students sat Naruto, his blonde hair catching the sunlight as he nervously shifted in his seat. Next to him was Saruyo, her crimson dress clinging to her perfectly sculpted figure. Her long, toned legs crossed elegantly, but her demeanor remained cold and composed.

Without a word, Saruyo reached over and took Naruto's hand, guiding it to rest gently on her thighs. The warmth of her skin under the soft fabric of her dress sent a jolt of electricity through Naruto's body, and his face turned a deep shade of red. He could feel the firmness of her well-defined legs, and it made it almost impossible to focus on anything else.

"Relax," Saruyo murmured, her voice a whisper that only he could hear. She leaned closer, her icy breath brushing against his ear. "You're too tense."

Naruto gulped, nodding slightly, though his heart pounded in his chest.

At the front of the room, Kakashi cleared his throat, drawing the students' attention. "Alright, everyone," he began, his one visible eye scanning the room. "Today, we'll tackle something a bit more challenging."

He turned to the board and wrote out an intricate mathematical equation that spanned nearly the entire width. The room buzzed with murmurs as students squinted at the complex symbols and numbers, their faces etched with confusion.

"This," Kakashi continued, stepping back to admire his handiwork, "is a problem that requires a unique approach to solve. Let's see if anyone here is up to the challenge."

He paused, his gaze landing on Naruto. A sly smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. "Naruto, why don't you give it a try?"

Naruto froze, his face turning pale as the entire lecture hall turned to look at him. Whispers rippled through the room, students murmuring about his recent success in solving a similarly challenging problem the week before.

"I-I…" Naruto stammered, glancing nervously at Saruyo.

Saruyo, ever composed, tightened her grip on his hand. "Go," she said firmly, her icy tone leaving no room for argument. "Show them what you're capable of."

Naruto hesitated but ultimately stood, his steps hesitant as he made his way to the front of the room. Kakashi handed him the marker, a knowing look in his eye.

"Take your time," Kakashi said. "We're all eager to see how you handle this."

Naruto took a deep breath, staring at the equation. Slowly, the initial wave of anxiety faded, replaced by a sharp focus. He began writing.

###

Naruto capped the marker and turned to face the class. "That's how it's done," he said, his voice quiet but steady.

The room erupted into applause. Students who had been utterly baffled moments ago were now in awe of how effortlessly Naruto had broken down the problem. Even Kakashi couldn't hide his pride, though he masked it with a casual shrug.

"Correct, as always," Kakashi said. "Well done, Naruto. That was impressive."

Naruto blushed, scratching the back of his head as he mumbled, "It's nothing, really…"

He quickly returned to his seat, where Saruyo was waiting with an uncharacteristic smile on her lips. As soon as he sat down, she took his hand once more, placing it on her thigh.

"You're brilliant," she said softly, her icy tone warming ever so slightly. "You should tutor me sometime."

Naruto's face turned crimson, and he stammered, "S-Saruyo…"

Meanwhile, Ino, seated a few rows back, watched the exchange with narrowed eyes. Her jealousy burned hotter with each passing moment, her bandaged hand clenching tightly.

"I'll make him mine," she muttered under her breath, her lips curling into a determined smirk. "One way or another."

Saruyo, sensing Ino's gaze, turned her head slightly, her cold eyes locking onto the blonde. A smirk of her own played at the corners of her lips as she leaned closer to Naruto, whispering something that made his face turn an even deeper shade of red.

Ino's blood boiled as she turned away, plotting her next move.

As the lecture halls emptied and students spilled out into the bustling corridors, Ino sat alone in the parking lot, her violet car gleaming under the afternoon sun. Her manicured nails tapped against the leather steering wheel as her mind spiraled with thoughts of Naruto.

"Damn it," she muttered, her teeth clenching. "If only he wasn't with that icy queen. If he were single…"

Her lips curled into a smirk, her mind racing with scenarios. "I'd invite him to my place to study… just the two of us. And by the end of the night, he'd be in my bed. No hesitation."

But the momentary fantasy dissolved into frustration, her nails digging into the wheel. "Instead, he's with her. That cold, untouchable witch—Saruyo Uchiha."

Ino's anger flared, but she was jolted from her thoughts by the sound of voices nearby. Rolling down the window slightly, she recognized them—Shikamaru, Kiba, and Neji, three of Naruto's closest friends, gathered just a few feet away.

"Man, ever since Naruto started dating Saruyo, we never see him anymore," Shikamaru said, his lazy drawl unmistakable.

Kiba laughed, his shaggy-haired Akamaru barking softly at his side. "My boy's all grown up. He doesn't need us anymore."

Neji crossed his arms, his white eyes narrowing slightly. "It's not surprising. That's his life now, and we have ours. Besides, we're dating too, aren't we?"

"Yeah," Kiba said, grinning, but his cheeks reddened slightly when Shikamaru quipped, "Speaking of which, Kiba, did you ever fix that… uh, speed problem of yours?"

Kiba's face turned beet red. "Shut up, Shikamaru!"

Shikamaru smirked, clearly enjoying Kiba's embarrassment. "Relax. We're just saying, out of all of us, I never would've guessed Naruto would end up with Saruyo Uchiha—the Ice Queen herself."

Neji nodded, his tone serious. "The girl who's rejected every guy in school and sent at least twenty of them to the hospital."

"And now she's with Naruto," Shikamaru said, his tone thoughtful. "It's wild."

Kiba puffed out his chest proudly. "That's my boy. He's living the dream."

"Don't get carried away," Shikamaru said, rolling his eyes. "Come on, let's go. The day's too troublesome to waste."

The trio walked off, their laughter fading into the distance.

Ino, still in her car, had heard every word. Her grip on the wheel tightened, her knuckles turning white. "So it was them," she hissed. "Those idiots were the ones who pushed him toward Saruyo."

Her lips curled into a cruel smile. "They'll pay for this… but maybe I can use this guy Kiba. If he's Naruto's friend, I can have him bring Naruto to me. If he refuses…"

She trailed off, her smile turning wicked. "I'll ruin him. Everyone has secrets, and I'll find his."

Yet, as she thought of Naruto, her expression softened. She sighed, leaning back in her seat and closing her eyes. "Naruto… you're the only one I want. I've waited so long for someone like you."

Her voice dropped to a whisper. "I haven't been with anyone else for over a month now. I promised myself that the next time I gave myself to someone, it would be real. It would be with you."

Her determination returned, her eyes snapping open. "I'll make you mine, Naruto. No matter what it takes."

She started the car, her purple vehicle roaring to life as she pulled out of the parking lot, her mind already racing with plans.

### Elsewhere

Saruyo and Naruto walked side by side down the campus pathways, their fingers interlocked. Despite the warmth of the sun, Saruyo's grip on his hand was firm, almost possessive.

Her sharp eyes scanned the crowd, her expression as cold and unreadable as ever. Yet inside, her thoughts churned.

"That Ino Yamanaka girl," Saruyo mused, glancing briefly at Naruto. His carefree smile and clueless demeanor only made her more certain. "She's planning something. I can feel it."

Naruto, blissfully unaware of Saruyo's suspicions, looked up at her and smiled. "What are you thinking about, Saruyo?"

She looked down at him, her lips curling into a small, almost imperceptible smile. "Nothing important."

As they reached the library steps, Saruyo suddenly stopped, pulling Naruto close. Her icy eyes softened just a fraction as she leaned in, her voice low. "Stay close to me."

Naruto blinked in surprise. "Uh… okay?"

Saruyo nodded, her expression returning to its usual icy demeanor. "Good."

Unbeknownst to them, Ino was parked nearby, watching from a distance. Her eyes narrowed as she saw Saruyo pull Naruto into the library.

"She's always glued to him," Ino muttered, her fingers tapping impatiently on the steering wheel. "But not for long. I'll tear her away from him, piece by piece."

She smiled, a plan already forming in her mind. "Soon, Naruto. Soon you'll see I'm the one you should be with. Not her."

###

As the lecture hall emptied and students streamed out, Saruyo gripped Naruto's hand firmly, her cold fingers curling around his like iron. Her gaze was distant, her sharp features tight with tension.

Naruto glanced at her, sensing the unease she tried to hide. "Saruyo… is everything okay?"

She didn't answer immediately, her grip tightening as they made their way to the sleek black car parked under the shade of a sprawling tree. Saruyo unlocked the doors with a press of a button, her movements unusually robotic.

Once inside, Naruto buckled his seatbelt and glanced at her again. She hadn't started the engine yet, her hands resting on the steering wheel, unmoving.

"Saruyo?" he asked hesitantly, his voice soft. "Are we going home?"

Her icy eyes flicked toward him, and for a moment, her expression was unreadable. Then, without a word, she reached out and grabbed his face, her hands surprisingly warm against his cheeks. Before he could react, she leaned in and pressed her lips to his in a fierce, almost desperate kiss.

Naruto's eyes widened in shock, his cheeks flushing bright red. Her lips were cold but intoxicating, and the pressure of her body against his—especially her ample chest brushing against him—left him too stunned to move.

When she finally pulled away, her gaze was as intense as ever, her lips slightly parted. She didn't say anything, but the look in her eyes spoke volumes: *You're mine, and no one will take you from me.*

Naruto stammered, his face still crimson. "S-Saruyo…"

Without responding, she started the engine and drove off, her expression unreadable once again.

### At Ino's House

Meanwhile, Ino sat cross-legged on the couch in her family's cozy living room, absentmindedly nibbling on a slice of apple. Her mind was far from the TV show playing in front of her. Her thoughts, as always lately, were consumed by one name: Naruto.

Her mother entered the room, carrying a basket of folded laundry. She glanced at Ino's bandaged hands and frowned. "Ino, sweetheart, what happened to your hands? Did you hurt yourself?"

Ino looked down at her hands and shrugged nonchalantly. "It's nothing, Mom. Just a small accident."

Her mother wasn't convinced. Setting the laundry basket down, she walked over and sat beside Ino, taking her hand gently. "Honey, are you okay? You've been acting strange lately."

Ino hesitated, then sighed. "I'm fine, Mom. Really."

Her mother raised an eyebrow. "You're sure? You've been so quiet these past few weeks. Not chasing after boys like you usually do."

Ino forced a small smile. "That's because I've stopped doing that. I haven't… I haven't been with anyone in over a month."

Her mother's eyes widened slightly in surprise. "Really?"

"Yes, really," Ino said firmly. Then, her expression softened, and her eyes grew dreamy. "Because I've found someone, Mom. Someone amazing. Someone beautiful."

Her mother's curiosity was piqued. "Oh? And who might that be?"

Ino hesitated for a moment before saying the name softly, almost reverently. "Naruto Uzumaki."

Her mother's reaction was immediate. Her eyes widened, and her mouth fell open. "Naruto Uzumaki? The son of Kushina Uzumaki?"

Ino blinked in surprise. "You know him?"

Her mother smiled fondly and said, "Of course, his mother, Kushina, was a dear friend of mine, and his father..." Then she stopped talking, her expression turning sad. "His father was Minato Namikaze, . He died before Naruto was born.

Ino's heart ached as she imagined the little boy Naruto growing up without a father. "I didn't know...

Her mother nodded, "Naruto was raised by Kushina alone. She was a wonderful mother, but she was very protective of him. She didn't let him play with other children much. She taught him everything herself - manners, discipline, kindness." " "

Ino's admiration for Naruto grew with every word. "So… he's really someone special, isn't he?"

Her mother smiled. "Yes, he is. He's a good match for you, Ino."

But then her expression turned thoughtful. "Although… isn't he dating someone?"

Ino's mood darkened instantly. Her hands clenched into fists, and she muttered through gritted teeth, "Yes. Saruyo Uchiha."

Her mother frowned. "An Uchiha? That clan is known for their arrogance. And they don't take kindly to anyone interfering in their lives. Be careful, Ino."

Ino's jaw tightened. "I don't care who she is. I'll take him from her."

Her mother sighed. "Honey, are you sure about this? Saruyo is…" She hesitated, then asked delicately, "Is she… pure?"

Ino's heart dropped, her guilt rising to the surface. Her eyes filled with tears, and she looked away. "Yes, it is," she whispered.

Her voice trailed off as she continued, "And I'm not.

Her mother's face became softer, and she reached out to embrace her daughter. "Oh, Ino... "

Tears streamed down Ino's face as she buried her head in her mother's shoulder. "I've made so many mistakes, Mom. I let myself get caught up in all those meaningless relationships, all those stupid guys. Sakura tried to warn me, but I didn't listen. And now… now I'm paying the price."

Her sobs grew louder. "What if Naruto doesn't want me because of that? What if he chooses Saruyo over me because she's… she's perfect? She's strong, beautiful, and… and pure. And I'm just… ruined."

Her mother held her tightly, stroking her hair. "You're not ruined, Ino. You're beautiful. You're strong. And you always get what you want, don't you?"

Ino sniffled, her tears slowing. "I don't know if I can this time, Mom."

Her mother pulled back and looked her in the eyes. "If you want him, fight for him. Show him your heart. If he's as kind as his mother raised him to be, he'll see the real you."

Ino nodded slowly, determination returning to her eyes. "I'll fight for him. No matter what it takes."

Her mother smiled and kissed her forehead. "That's my girl."
