*Volume Intro*
The episode begins with a soft melody, the room's window wide open and Weiss peacefully sleeping.
"Wow, a surprisingly peaceful domestic moment, when will it be ruined," Weiss says to herself, remembering her abrupt awakening very clearly.
Weiss gives a stretch as she wakes up. Next to her, Ruby holds a whistle in hand, before loudly blowing it in her ear.
"There it is. Do you have any idea how much that hurts!?" Weiss shouts, her attention now on Ruby
"I guess it wasn't the best way to get your attention, also considering you were awake," The redhead just chuckles nervously under Weiss' intense glare.
"You think?"
"Good morning Team RWBY!"
"What in the world is wrong with you?" Yelling at the girl as she lays on the floor.
"That is a very good question that I would love the answer to, Ruby, you want to answer that?" Weiss asks, still immensely peeved even though that happened long ago.
"Now that you're awake, we can officially begin our first order of business."
Weiss brushes off her shoulders as she finally gets up from the floor. "Excuse me?"
In hand, Yang is holding a miscellaneous of items from Weiss's dust pamphlet and to what looks like Pyrrha's shield? "Decorating!"
"The best part about moving in!" Ruby yells excitedly.
"What?" Weiss shouts in disbelief. Blake holds up one of her suitcases, "We still have to unpack." The case opens by itself and all of its contents fall to the ground. "And clean."
Weiss gives the team an annoyed look, Ruby blowing her whistle in her ear again. This caused her to fall over from the sudden noise.
"Alright, Weiss, Blake, Yang, and their fearless leader Ruby have begun their first mission, Banzai!" Blake and Yang follow her, yelling the same thing.
The three of them stand in the same pose in front of the door.
The cleaning montage begins! Yang is setting up a poster on the wall, crossing her arms when it's to her liking. Weiss places an intricate painting, moving it until the sides are symmetrical with the other. Blake is next to a shelf where she is currently placing her books. Though once picking up a certain book, Ninjas of Love, she looked around nervously, making sure no one was watching, and set the book back down.
"Why so nervous Blake? What's in the book?" Ruby asked oh-so innocently. Blake refused to say anything and kept quiet.
Blake blushed a bright red, silently hoping and waiting for a hole to swallow her whole, but knew it wouldn't come.
In a desperate act to avoid the question, Blake turned to Raider who sighed and took a bit of pity on the poor girl.
Being nice, she told Ruby to let the question go and that it wasn't important.
But, Blake didn't know what was worse: to be put in that situation in the first place or for Yang to let out a sigh of relief.
This small noise made Blake snap her head towards the girl with a very red face. "Do you-?" Before Blake could finish, Yang gave her a nod, and Blake just about wanted to die right there and then.
Ruby is seen cutting the curtains in front of the window.
"It's a good thing we were able to fix them," Weiss mumbled thankfully.
Having a close up view of the poster Yang set up and to the curtain being repaired.
"I bet Weiss was the one who had to fix that," Jaune said. Getting a couple sheepish nods from the girls.
"I did, and it was quite difficult, considering a certain someone sevared it."
The camera changed to show Weiss's painting, finally stopping to show the whole team observing the room. Needless to say, it looked like a wreck with the beds stacked on top of each other.
"Man, looks like Yang's room back on Patch."
The girl in question let out a noise of offense. "My room isn't this destroyed!"
"Tell that to all your furniture with dent in them."
"This isn't going to work." Weiss being the first to speak up about the condition the room was in. "It is a bit cramped."
"Maybe we should ditch some of our stuff."
"Or we could ditch the beds,"
"Then where on Remnant would you sleep?" Nora asks, appalled they would even consider getting rid of something so important.
"And replace them with bunk beds!"
"That doesn't sound like a good idea," Pyrrha states.
"How would you even get that to work in the first place?" Jaune continues.
"That sounds incredibly dangerous," comes the voice of reason. Though it was ignored with Yang looking on the more positive and reckless side. "And super awesome!"
"It does seem efficient."
"Blake is supposed to be one of the main voices of reason, though she thinks the idea was a good one?" Nora shouts.
"Hey! What about me and Yang!"
"Yang trashed a whole club and you're the one who came up with the idea in the first place," Weiss says with a deadpan expression.
"You guys aren't going to let that go are you?"
"Well we should put it to a vote," Weiss continues, trying to avoid the inevitable. "I think we just did."
Blake gives a thumbs up, on board with the idea, Yang feeling the same way. But, Weiss pouts, still apprehensive.
The four head to their bed and the sound of construction working is heard. Once done, they rush back to the front of the room to check their work. "Objective complete," where the pile of beds used to be, in their place was a bed being held up from a bed sheet and rope, while the other was held up by a stack of books.
"How those beds aren't toppling immediately is beyond me." Pyrrha is seriously questioning the physics of it all right now.
"I have two questions. What are the pieces of rope tied to on the ceiling and how strong are the books Blake has?" Nora wonders.
Yang's bed gives a sparkle. "Alright, our second order of business isssss! Classes." She finished dejectedly, a schedule flopping into her lap.
Everyone when it comes to school.
"Now, we have a few classes together. At 9:00 we got a-" Ruby was ultimately cut off by Weiss. "What!? Did you say 9:00 o-clock? It's 8:55 you dunce!"
Weiss quickly runs out of the classroom, her teams and team JNPR popping their heads out of their doorways. "Uh, t-t-to class!" Ruby yells, running after her partner, Yang and Blake close behind.
"Class?" Jaune asks, confused watching them. The four of them fall on top of each other in the corridor. "We're going to be late!" Jaune hurriedly gets up and rushes after his friends.
"Question, is that what we all look like when we run?" Yang asks with complete seriousness.
Glynda and Ozpin watch as the 8 students try and make it on time to class. Ozpin sipped from his mug and Glynda checked her watch.
"Monsters, demons, prowlers of the night. Yes, the grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey. Haha!" Laughing at his own joke, but the audience gives him crickets. "Uhhh, and you shall too upon graduating from this prestigious academy. Now, as I was saying, Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world. Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces, and that's where we come in; Huntsman, Huntresses." He clicks his tongue, causing Yang to look uncomfortable.
"I honestly don't want to ask about that. It looked like it was sending the wrong kind of signals," Weiss says uncomfortably. Looking back on this, Yang couldn't help but shudder at the memory.
"It really shouldn't be sending any kind of signals in the first place, it's a classroom," Yang says, disgust clear in her voice.
"Individuals who have sworn to protect those who can not protect themselves. From what you ask? Why, the very world!" The room was silent once more, but a random student had the courage to agree with him, causing the whole classroom to stare at him as he sat back down. "That is what you're training to become, but first, a story."
"The guy is seriously one of those stereotypical teachers."
"It makes for a good way to kill time though. You could be doing a lot more stuff when he drones on."
"A tale of a young handsome man, me."
He went on through his story carelessly, and during that Ruby scribbles on a piece of paper, catching Weiss's attention from the loud noise. "Despite smelling of cabbages"
Even now, they still never understand his tangents, and more than likely, never will. It will forever be one of Remnant's greatest mysteries.
"My grandfather was a wise man, 'Peter' he told me."
Ruby finished her scribbling and showed it to her friends. It was a picture of Professor Port smelling on the page she was supposed to be taking notes with. She makes a fart sound, and the chain reaction causes her and Yang to laugh.
"Real mature Ruby," Weiss says with a sigh.
"I thought it was hilarious."
"Y'know, you could have drawn Port as a cabbage. It would have stayed on track with what he was going on about." This was one of the few times Raider has actually spoken since she brought them here.
"Why are you encouraging her?" Weiss turns, asking the dragon Faunus. The woman shrugs with a smile.
"In the end, the beowulf was no match for my sheer tenacity, na di return to my village with the beast in captivity and my head held high, celebrated as a hero." He gave a bow before continuing, "Moral of the story, a true huntsman must be honorable," Ruby is seen balancing a book and an apple on a pencil with a silly look on her face. "A true huntsman must be dependable," Weiss's irritation for the girl grows as Ruby continues to disappoint those attributes. "A true huntsman must be strategic, well educated and wise."
"Daw Ruby!" Her sister exclaims. The people around her slowly move farther and farther away from the girl.
Weiss gave the girl a grossed out look, moving a bit farther away from the girl.
Weiss is shaking with anger at this point. "So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?" Weiss quickly raises her hand with a frown held upon her face. "I do sir!"
"Well then, let's find out." The man turns to a large crate, inside showing deep dark red eyes. "Step forward, and face your opponent."
"How the hell did he get that inside the classroom, let alone a large grimm in a cage?" Yang shouts, gesturing her hand to the screen.
The screen goes black, later changing to the end credits, signaling that the episode is over.
Weiss let out a sigh, she knew what was going to be shown next and it was another one of her worst moments. Especially towards Ruby who didn't deserve it in the slightest.
