Chapter 1 - The start
Rosy, a curious she-cat with curious needs, is only 6 moons. She is quite small and she's an orange ginger. She's quite a pretty one too. She is currently sleeping in her kittypet bed, softly breathing in the dark corners of the twoleg nest.
Then...
Rosy woke up in her mysterious forest dream, wondering what this one is about. Rosy explores and finds it quite warming here.
Rosy finds a vole, Rosy, being quite hungry, hunts the vole. She successfully caught it, and she decided to eat it, and it fills up her belly. Rosy looks around the forest that's ahead of her, and decides to keep exploring...
She finds some lush ground, grass and bushes, followed with tall trees that have grippy bark, so she decides to scratch on it, getting her claws nice and dull, since she was trained for that kind of stuff. Rosy walks around, still wondering what this forest holds, and what would happen if she went inside the forest...
She was woken up to vacuuming of a twoleg, and it ruined her wonderous forest dream.
Rosy just sighs, stretches, and yawns as gets up from her kittypet bed, walking towards the kibble, full of cat food pellets.
Why did that dream have to end? I liked it.. I might as well just eat and think, maybe just sunbathe.
Sometimes the twolegs would overfeed some of the cats, but her twoleg fed her the right amount, surprisingly.
Sometimes the twolegs would feed her some of that delicious meat stuff thats in a can, that beef and chicken. Rosy usually liked the beef and fish kind, since they were more tasty. Rosy finished some of her pellets and meowed for the twolegs to feed her the premium stuff.
Rosy couldn't really make out the words, but heard them. "Oh, hey rosy! You want the meat stuff instead, honey?" the twoleg says, cooing. Rosy just meowed and tried to climb on the twoleg.
They twoleg giggled and decided to pass her the can of beef, since it was Rosie's top favorite. Rosy gobbled it up, and the twoleg sighed dramatically as she got on her knees.
"Your such a beauty, Rosy. And your a good girl!" the twoleg says, as it pats her head softly. Rosy mewls and nuzzles her hand. The twoleg pets her soft spots and gets up, ready for work of the morning as usual. Rosy then pads off outside, finding smudge.
"hey Rosy, what's up!" Smudge meows, approaching Rosy. "Hey Smudge, I'm doing good." Rosy nudges Smudges side affectionately, as they both sit down, admiring the sky and the cats around them.
"So, what are you up to, Smudge?" Rosy says, as Smudge replies, "Nothing, really. I'm usually exploring or eating. I'm always curious about the other cats too!" Rosy nods, as she gets in a loaf position.
"Yeah, I'm pretty bored these days, and I might go into the forest someday..." Rosy says, as Smudge's eyes widen, looking at Rosy. "The forest? It's dangerous in there Rosy! You shouldn't go in there, even if your bored!" Smudge says, getting a shiver.
"You know what those forest cats do, Rosy. They eat other cats and they fight like crazy!" Smudge says, ignoring Rosie's silly eye roll.
"Your always scared, Smudge. I didn't even get to finish what I was gonna say. But anyways, I said I'm gonna go someday, and just for a peek, really. Nothing more." Rosy says, grabbing a thin stick.
Rosy just breaks the darn stick with a nonchalant expression.
"Besides, I don't know why you care so much, silly." Rosy says, as Smudge just sighs and softly blushes a pink hue. "It's because were friends, Rosy. I don't wanna lose you, mouse-brain." Smudge says, rolling his eyes.
Rosy gets up, swishing her tail around in boredom. "Yeah, I'm curious. Well, see you smudge!" Rosy meows, walking away.
Smudge gets up and approaches some other cats, feeling saddened a bit. Rosy thinks, before walking into the twoleg nest again. She finds some kits and a mother, and looks around.
Rosy feels like she's being pulled into the forest, somehow. Like her destiny is to become some kind of forest cat...

Rosie's explorative nature kicks in, and she wants to go for a peek in the forest. She groans, feeling bored, so she quickly pads off to the fences where the forest is kept away.
Smudge and Princess find Rosy, and they wonder what she is up to. "Hey, sister! Don't even try and go over there!" Princess says to her beloved sister. Smudge comes closer.
"Yeah, don't go into the forest!" Smudge jumps onto the fence beside Rosy. "don't worry, I told you a few days ago, I was going for a quick peek, nothing more." Rosy says, some curiosity in her voice.
"Okay, didn't warn you sister!" Princess says, coming closer to the wooden painted fence. "Don't worry, I told you guys its gonna be for a quick moment." Rosy says, jumping onto the wild earthy ground, making Smudge and Princess nervous.
"Just be safe Rosy! We don't wanna see you ended up at the cutters!" Smudge says, some concern in his voice. Princess is quite nervous, and says, "See you later, Sister.."
Rosy pads off, as Princess and Smudge watch, both looking at each other nervously, before going back to their twoleg places and fields. Rosy finds herself in the forest, just like her dream. Woah, this is beautiful. I never knew the forest was better than the twolegs. Rosy thinks, relaxing in the forest and its watery moss scent.
Rosy spots a vole, just like in her dream, and she crouches low, hesitating. Before jumping and almost catching the little vole, but missing. Rosy sighed, disappointed she didn't catch it fast enough...
Rosy then hears some rustling, and spots 2 pairs of eyes. Rosie's fur bristles, feeling threatened, as the cat jumps out of the shadows and pounces Rosy. Rosy quickly pushes and kicks at the cat, making the cat hit a broken down tree. Rosy then gets her bearings and rushes for the fences, panicking.
Rosy had enough of being scared, so she faces the cat, hissing. Rosy gets low, before she hears the cat reveal itself and speaks up, "Woah, you put up a great fight for a tame kittypet!" The gray cat says, sitting on the broken down tree.
"Who are you, forest cat?" Rosy says, still on guard. "My name is Graypaw, I'm an apprentice in training to become a warrior!" Graypaw says, as he continues, "Why are you out here, kittypet? Isn't it dangerous out here for you?"
"If your the best threat out here, I can handle myself." Rosy says, softening. "Oh, I'm just an apprentice, if I was a real warrior, I would have given your real scratches to whine about!" Graypaw says, getting closer.
"So, what's your name, huh?" Graypaw says, as Rosy replies, "My name is Rosy, Graypaw." Rosy fully relaxes, as Graypaw hears rustling from behind. "Get out of here, quick! There's more forest cats coming!" Graypaw says, slightly panicking, as Rosy tries to run, but the cats halt them both.
"Hold it." The blue-gray she-cat says, coming closer. The other cat that jumped out looks quite frankly, looks a lion, but way smaller, yet he's still big. "Graypaw, you shouldn't be near twoleg nests so closely." The big cat says, as all of them sit.
Graypaw's ears pin back, getting scolded for being so close to those twoleg nests their talking about. "And who is this, Graypaw?" Bluestar points out, looking at me. "Oh, it's just another kittypet on our territory.. Her name is Rosy." Graypaw says.
"Alright." The leader says, as Graypaw continues, "Rosy, this is Bluestar, and This one is Lionheart, my mentor." Rosy nods, taking in the information. "You fight well for a kittypet, really." Bluestar says, as she sits down formally in front of Graypaw and Rosy.
"Graypaw is stronger than you, but you used your wits to defend yourself." Bluestar meows, Continuing, "I also saw you on the fences, your twoleg place, looking beyond the boundaries of your nest, into the forest. Your quite a natural one, Rosy."
Rosy nods, looking up at Bluestar. "Yeah, I always wanted to hunt. But, I was always nervous." Rosy says, as Bluestar replies, "Yes, you would have caught that mouse if you hadn't been nervous, or if you haven't hesitated."
Rosy sighs, nodding. Bluestar decides to think of something... "Hey, do you wish to become an apprentice alongside Graypaw?" Bluestar says, making Lionheart and Graypaw's eyes widen. "What, she can't join, she's a kittypet! She doesn't have warrior blood." Graypaw says, looking at Bluestar.
Bluestar softly mumbles some words, before sighing. "Bluestar is only offering you training, Young one. If you decide to join, you need to learn to respect and learn to be loyal to become a one of us, or you can go back to your kittypet home." Lionheart says. "There is no way you can have 2 paws in each world, Rosy."
"Oh yeah, good thing your a she-cat, Rosy." Bluestar says, chuckling. "What do you mean I'm a she-cat?" Rosy says, with Bluestar continuing, "Oh, you weren't to the cutters before. You wouldn't have she-cat parts, and the clan wouldn't be so fond of a cat without parts."
Graypaw blushes at the thought, and he just turns around, embarrassed to hear this she-cat conversation of... yeah.
The leader tells Rosy what her deal is gonna do to her soft life, what is expected in clan life, and tells Rosy Lionheart will be back tomorrow. "Lionheart will be back tomorrow, Rosy." Bluestar meows, as the 3 wild cats walk away into the forest.
Rosy watches them from afar, still next to the fence as she watches them retreat back into the mysterious forest.
Rosy then does the same, going opposite ways and going back into her twoleg nest.
Time skip
Rosy sits down, thinking of the encounter with Graypaw and those big wild cats. Rosy had been thinking of their deal of becoming one of them, and she has decided her words and actions.
Rosy comes up to the fences again, finding Smudge. "Hey rosy, I knew you told me their deal, but why join them? I Wouldn't trust them that much, if I were you." Smudge says, as Rosy replies, "But I'm not you, Smudge." Rosy and Smudge both give each other stern looks, before Smudge looks aside and sighs. "At least stay safe out there, Rosy. I'll miss you, you know?" Smudge says.
"I know Smudge, I can handle myself, don't worry." Rosy meows, hopping over the fence. Smudge looks at Rosy again, waving as Rosy runs off.
Rosy finds Lionheart. "Hey, I've seen that you've wanted to join?" Lionheart says, and Rosy nods. "Could you smell me, or anyone else?" Lionheart meows, as Rosy sniffs the air. "Graypaw and Bluestar isn't here."
"But someone else is." Lionheart says, as a big white tom jumps out from the bushes. He slowly approaches, looking at Rosy, smiling quite warmly. "Hey, I've heard a lot about you, Rosy." Whitestorm says, slightly winking. Rosie's eyes widen a bit, before rolling her eyes.
"Hey my name is-" Lionheart cuts off Rosy, "You can talk more once were there, Rosy. Let's go!" The 3 of them quickly pad off into the big forest. Rosy takes in the breath taking experience of the wilderness as she follows the 2 Thunderclan warriors.
They soon find the clan, slowing down and stopping in front of the clan. "Can you smell the cats ahead?" Lionheart says, as Rosy sniffs. "I smell cats, lots of them!" Rosy meows, as she looks ahead.
Rosy looks around, as she never experienced such an earthy smell. She sniffed with her curious nose, trying to count out the cats ahead.
The 3 of them go through the gorse tunnel, finding lots of cats grooming and sharing tongues. "Woah, this place is great, Lionheart. There is so many cats, and many new scents!" Rosy says, as she looks around the clan cats with an excited expression.
Bluestar finds us and talks to us for a bit, before hopping onto the high rock, calling all the cats for a clan talk. Bluestar talks about Rosy and her new arrival of being an apprentice. They all start meowing and speaking about things of outsiders and kittypets.
"Kittypet's aren't supposed to be here!"
"Their gonna bring in their stench and get lost, either way!"
"Their just gonna bring in Twolegs!"
Bluestar silences the clan, Shutting them up quite fast. Then a tall cat with pale sandy fur and black spots comes up and speaks up with a scowl on his face.
Longtail speaks up. "Once a kittypet, ALWAYS a kittypet!"
Then Longtail starts yapping about kittypets and their faulty collars with bells. "Their just gonna alert enemies and prey while hunting or fighting! We can't bring them in!"
"Don't back down, Rosy." Lionheart says, giving some bravery to Rosy. Rosy gets mad at Longtail, so Rosy quickly jumps over some cats and lunges for Longtail, making him wince and swipe his paw at her. "Ugh! You want it, come get it!" Longtail spat, hissing with venom as they both claw and scratch.
Longtail has the upperhand, but Rosy is using her small size and determination to keep her going. Before Longtail suddenly grabs Rosy, slowly ripping her Blue collar, as rosy slightly chokes...
"Hmph, your not half-bad, little kittypet." Longtail says under the blue collar.
Though, Longtail's eyes widen, and he quickly rips apart the blue collar, letting her free to breathe some fresh air. He looks at the collar, as Rosy scratches his ear quite badly.
"Ah! You..!" Longtail looks at Rosy, but softens as Bluestar intervenes. "Alright, this kittypet has lost her collar and is now free of the hands of the Twolegs!" Bluestar announces.
The clan chants, as Bluestar takes a good look at Rosy. She looks like particular fire...
"From now on, this apprentice will be named Firepaw!" Bluestar says, as the clan calls out Rosie's new name, chanting and yowling.
Rosy did it, she is officially a Thunderclan cat, and she can't go back to her soft kittypet life, unless she wants to be kicked out.
