A Week Later
Ichigo was getting annoyed, for about a week he has felt someone's eyes on him, observing him, so today he would confront the person who was doing it.
Ichigo was walking down an empty hallway when he felt a pair of eyes on him.
Ichigo stopped then ran as fast as he could in te direction of the source that was hiding behind the corner.
When he got there he saw Isen who was frozen in place at how fast Ichigo got to his location and the fact Ichigo was glaring at him.
"Hey Ichigo, how you doing?" Isen asked innocently.
"Why are you following me Isen, especially for a week!?" Ichigo asked annoyed.
"Um, I wanted to interview you." Isen said quickly.
Ichigo sighed and asked "Why?" he would have asked why he didn't just ask but Ichigo knew people are usually scared of him.
Isen composed himself and coughed on top of his closed closed fist before saying, "I'm doing a report on low-tiers and wanted your point of veiw on things."
"Okay, so are we doing the interview herw or somwhere else?" Ichigo asked.
"Follow me." Isen says a little excitedly as he lead him to an small room with a table and two chairs on each side.
"Come, take a seat." Isen said gesturing to one of the chairs as he sat in the other.
Ichigo sat down across from Isen and Isen opened up a noteboo and started his questioning.
"So Ichigo, what made you want to attend Wellston?" Isen asked.
"The headmaster offered me a scholarship, so I accepted" Ichigo answered blandly.
"O-kay, next question, I noticed you don't act like most low-tiers and put up a fight when attacked, why is that?" Isen asked looking at Ichigo for an answer.
"Well, I believe that if you let yourself be beaten up then you are telling your attacker that what they are doing is okay, so I fight to show them I'm not going to take any shit from them." Ichigo said with a confident look in his eyes.
"Wouldn't that just bring more powerful people to try and show you your place?" Isen thought doodling in his notebook.
"Next questi..." Isen began only for Ichigo to stop Isen by asking a question of his own.
"Isen what do you really want to ask?" asked Ichigo slightly annoyed.
"What do you mean?" Isen asked a little bit nervous.
"Your doodling which means you don't care about what we are talking about." Ichigo said annoyed.
Isen sweat drops and coughed onto the top of his closed fist and tries to make an excuse to waht hw was doing, "I have a good memory?"
Ichigo's eye lids lowered showing he wasn't amused making Isen laugh nervously before saying, "To be straight with you, I just want to know wo you are."
"Then hangout with me sometime and don't stalk people geeze." Ichigo said before standing up and headed out of the room.
Isen sighs and thinks, "That could have gone better." before heading to the library to research Ichigo's records.
Later That Day With Isen
Isen met up with Arlo to tell him what he found out on the two people Arlo wanted info on.
"It's been a while, you better have something good." Arlo said a little impatiently as Isen smiled.
"Oh yeah, I got your info right here." Isen said excitedly as he showed Arlo pics of John.
Isen went on to tell Arlo about how he followed John and interviewed him and pointed out that John's actions didn't line up with his words and showed a picture of John and said John had threatened him when he questioned his past.
Arlo was surprised about the picture of John, he looked authoritarian this caused Arlo to smirk and rip up the picture.
"Isen I'll take it from here. Oh, and what do you have on Ichigo?" Arlo said making Isen sweat.
"I couldn't find information on him, he's practically a ghost before coming to Wellston." Isen said confused and a little scared about the information.
This only worried Arlo for a second before thinking, "He was probably home schooled or something."
Arlo shrugged and decided on his next action getting Seraphina suspended.
Next Day With Ichigo
Ichigo was walking down the hallway when Seraphina was called to the office.
"It's probably because of Unordinary bit what took Elaine so long to report it?" Ichigo thought before heading to his next class.
During class Ichigo noticed John looking t his phone before asking to go to the bathroom Ichigo did the same and followed John ro the school gates.
When Ichigo and John arrived at the gate they saw Seraphina with a suitcase while a car was parked on the side of the street.
"Sera!" John yelled as he rushed towards Seraphina.
"What's with the luggage?" Ichigo said scaring John not noticing Ichigo was behind him.
"I-Ichigo what are you doing here?" John asked shocked.
"I followed you" Ichigo said nonchalantly causing John to sweat drop.
"Well I'm happy you have a new friend John and to answer your question they suspended me for a month so I have a flight back home." Seraphina said.
"What, that's insane!" John screamed and Ichigo couldn't agree more.
Seraphina then started to tell John and Ichigo about how the authorities didn't want the influence of the book to spread and how she managed to keep the both of them out of her mouth when speaking with the lie detector.
John interrupted Seraphina and told her how she could of had been in serious trouble if she was found out and how she should of just told the truth.
Seraphina then told John how that was irrelevant now and how it was the last they would hear of Unordinary.
Seraphina and John started to look each other in the eyes confusing Ichigo until the car parked on the side of the street honked interrupting the two in there moment.
The both of them laughed and Seraphina left telling John that she will text him and leaving John and Ichigo to wave her goodbye.
John then turned towards the school gate and looked at it like he had just saw someone he hated.
Ichigo noticed the look on Johns face and grabbed his shoulder making John jump.
"You okay?" Ichigo asked making John blink and nodding yes before smiling and the two headed back into the school.
A Few Days Later
Ichigo was extremely annoyed and angry as he kicked stone boy in the face knocking them out.
"Geez these guys don't know when to quit?" Ichigo thought as he walked towards the nursing office since he shattered his hand when he punched stone boy.
When he arrived he saw John laying on one of the beds and saw his phone broken on the ground.
"Great another one." the doctor said annoyed.
"You should see the other guy." Ichigo said nonchalantly as the doctor cursed about his job.
"Hey John, you okay?" Ichigo asked as he went to check up on him.
"Fine." John grumbled still pissed about his phone being broken.
Ichigo raised an eyebrow and thought, "He doesn't look good mentally."
"John, I'll be over here if you need me." Ichigo said as he went to the other bed and sat down as the doc gave him a tonic.
"Thanks." Ichigo said before downing it.
I little while later Ichigo decided to meditate to try and regain his powers and felt a spark.
A Couple of Hours Later
Ichigo got up and saw John wasn't there before he was kicked out of the nursing office after the doc discovered he was healed.
Ichigo was walking down the hall and saw John but before he could reach him someone shoved him down.
"Assholes." Ichigo thought to start to sprint towards John only to see Remi helping John.
Ichigo was shocked when John snapped at Remi.
Ichigo would have said something to John but Blyke shot a beam at John's head as John tried to apologize.
Ichigo had seen enough and walked over towards Blyke who just grabbed John by the collar.
When Ichigo arrived next to Blyke he grabbed Blyke by the shoulder before punching Blyke in the face making Blyke let go of John and fall on the ground.
"Who the hell!?" Blyke started to yell but stopped when he saw Ichigo giving him a glare.
Blyke glared back, stood up and started to yell "Don't think I'll hold back just because your new!"
"Do you even realize what you've almost done idiot!" Ichigo yelled back.
This made Blyke angrier and shout, "What, you mean trying to defend my friend!"
Ichigo sighed trying to calm down before he pointed to the locker with a hole in it.
"I can respect you trying to defend your friend, but you shot a beam that could pierce metal at the head of a cripple, are you trying to kill him!"
Ichigo began slowly only to yell at the end.
Blyke narrowed his eyes observing the situation but before he said anything Remi said, "Let's go Blyke.
This caused Blyke to calm down a little and started to walk away with Remi with a, "Tsk" but before they got to far Ichigo grabbed Remi's arm stopping her.
"Remi sorry about John he's having a hard time since Seraphina left." Ichigo said before letting go of Remi and helping John with his papers.
Remi stared for a bit before going back to walking away as Ichigo said, "John, you alright?"
"Yeah." John said quietly but Ichigo could tell John was pissed.
Ichigo sighed, patted John on the shoulder, and said, "Cheer up, if you need help with anything, anything just ask okay?"
John's eyes widened before giving a small smile and nodding.
The two stood up and Ichigo gave John his papers before both headed off to class.
Later That Day at John's Place
John was on a video call with Seraphina and Ichigo decided to meditate on the couch feeling for the power in his badge.
Ichigo felt the spirit energy in the badge even though it was weak and decided to push his own spirit energy into it hoping for his badge to get back into it's former glory.
Ichigo could sense people again and found that John had a lot of energy which was called aura in this world.
After John got off his call with Seraphina he noticed Ichigo meditating and started to get flashbacks of whwn he was a.kid.
John shook his head before asking, "Ichigo what are you doing?"
Ichigo opened his eyes and stood up off the couch and looked at John for a minute before saying, "I didn't tell you but I used to have powers but lost them, now I'm trying to regain them."
This shocked John but what Ichigo said next shook John to his core, "John I know you have an ability."
"What, haha, that's a funny joke Ichigo, if I had and ability then I wouldn't be beaten everyday." John said worry all over his face.
"John it's fine if you don't want to talk about it, after all you most likely have you reasons." Ichigo said causing John to grit his teeth.
"What you playing at Ichigo!?" John yelled as he grabbed Ichigo by the collar.
Ichigo raised an eyebrow and thought, "Is this what living in an hierarchy does to people?"
Ichigo calmly said, "Just trying to reassure a friend that I don't care about the hierarchy."
John's eyes widened and let go of Ichigo before lowering his head and saying, "Sorry."
"It's fine, I get it, this whole hierarchy system is stupid and makes people miserable." Ichigo said with an exasperated sigh.
"Hm, right?" John said with a slight smile and laughed which caused Ichigo to laugh with him.
