2013 Carrie Part 7
On this chapter, Yang is getting ready but gets a brief trouble with her mom. Plus more to come.

Girls' locker room the next day on Friday, Glynda is picking up some equipment, discarding clothes, she stops what she was doing after hearing someone crying, well she finds out it was Yang on the bench looking distraught.
"Yang?" Yang turns from Glynda who sits next to her.
"What's up? Is it Cinder and her girls again?" Glynda ask but Yang shakes her head as no.
"Then what is it?"
"I was invited to the prom, by Jaune Arc", Yang was only crying because she was happy.
"That's great news and Jaune is the cutest don't you think?" Glynda said smiling, but Jaune in the audiences blushed after being called cute except it came from Glynda.
"Don't let it get to you Mr. Arc", Glynda said while hiding her own blush on her face.
"Yes but I don't know how to dance", Yang wasn't only happy about being invited to the prom but her other problem is she doesn't even know to dance, Glynda gives her a hug.
"That's your problem?!" Mercury asked before being smacked in the back of his head by Emerald
"Oh please I can dance just fine", Yang said with a smug look in her face.
"But apparently this version of Yang cannot due to being stuck in the house and raised by her fanatic mentally ill mother", Blake said the only reason why that Yang cannot even dance.
"It's good thing we were able to teach Ruby and Yang how to dance while Raven was absent", Summer said remember the old days she and Tai with Qrow taught Ruby and Yang how to dance while Raven was absent for a while.
"Oh Yang, that's nothing to worry about, I don't know how to dance either, that's the least of it, you'll see, it's easy and I can show you."
"Really Glynda? You don't know how to dance?" James ask with some snicker.
"Can we please drop the subject already", Glynda said and everyone will drop it.
Next, Glynda and Ozpin sit with Pyrrha and Jaune at the Principal's office, they need a serious talk right now.
"Well you 2, the big deal is to Yang Branwen and you know that? and you're going by yourself now?" Glynda said and ask what's the big deal.
"No I'm not going", Pyrrha revealed she's not going to the prom at all this time.
"So your just gonna stay home now?"
"Is that so hard to believe?"
"I'm not stupid Pyrrha, Yang isn't either."
"Ms. Goodwitch, I have class", Jaune tries to convince Glynda that he needs to get to class, or is it just an excuse.
"The 3 of you of planning something is it?" Well both Glynda and Ozpin suspects Pyrrha, Jaune with Cinder are up too something against Yang.
"This has nothing to do with Cinder, it's something that me and Jaune have decided on our own", Pyrrha says that they are not onto this for Cinder, it's just something that both her and Jaune have done on their own.
"No need for the suspicion Glynda, Pyrrha and Jaune have decided this own their own", James said that there is no need for that.
"Well sometimes we have to confirm first James", Glynda said to him.
"But Jaune and Pyrrha are very serious about making Yang happy", Winter said to Glynda.
"But why?" Glynda ask why have they done this, but Pyrrha and Jaune are in a wall of silence, well Principle Ozpin will step in now.
"Jaune, what happens when the University of Patch hears about this?" Ozpin ask and Jaune looks at Pyrrha, because was that a question of a threat?
"Why would they care of who I take to the prom?"
"Are you willing to risk a baseball scholarship just to", by Glynda cuts off Ozpin because she wants to say now.
"To pull a prank on a poor, lonely girl whose only sin is that she's different from you?" Everyone in the audiences are bit annoy by this because Glynda and Ozpin stills thinks Jaune and Pyrrha are on to something against Yang.
"I'm not pulling anything against Yang", Jaune said knowing he ain't pulling anything against Yang and Pyrrha gives some comfort.
"Yeah your not Vomit-Boy", Yang said with a smile.
"Due respect Ms. Goodwitch and Mr. Ozpin, like Pyrrha said before, this is between Pyrrha and I, it's a private thing." Jaune said and yet Glynda interrupts him.
"Jaune? When you show up to the prom with Yang Branwen on your arm would find yourself looking ridiculous?" Glynda ask but Jaune doesn't responded to that question and Pyrrha takes his hand.
"No", Jaune said knowing he ain't going to be ridiculous when with Yang.
"I believe Jaune doesn't care how he looks do you?" Pyrrha ask him.
"No", Jaune answered and that will settle it.
"Nice", Nora said with a smile.
"Well at least you know what your doing being around Yang", Ren said to him.
Meanwhile at the gym the night before the Prom, Cinder and Mercury are getting ready for this prank they are going to pull on Yang as Cinder's revenge for being banned from the prom. All they did is position the bucket full of blood, although there a few setbacks like some of the blood accidently pours on top of Cinder that freaks her out and gave some laughter from the some of the audiences. Unknown to them since it's very dark and they barely see even with flashlights, there was a surveillance camera with a tiny red light blinking which means it's recording everything that's going on.
"You 2 are so busted when whoever is working on security sees this", James said to them while Cinder is completely annoyed by the blood part that pour on her by accident.
"What they are doing is really a crime", Winter said.
"Also that wasn't funny when that blood pour on top of me by accident", Cinder said to everyone and yet some still wanna laugh
Next morning before the prom, while everyone is getting everything prepared, Pyrrha is at the drug store just buying something. But she's mortified from a pervy male cashier but walks away after paying up. Before Pyrrha can leave she spots Yang looking at millions of kinds of lipsticks, curious Pyrrha approaches her.
"Pervert cashier", Jaune said with a glare.
"Yang?" Pyrrha greets her but Yang looks scared for a moment then settles.
"Hey Pyrrha", Yang greets Pyrrha.
"Now you can trust me?"
"Yang trusts Pyrrha, but not fully yet", Hakaze said that Yang doesn't trust completely yet.
"Looking for something for the prom?"
"I'm not sure on what to get yet", Yang said to Pyrrha.
"I can help you."
"Thanks Pyrrha", Yang can accept her help.
"No problem."
"For everything Pyrrha", well the 2 girls can have a moment of understanding between them.
"Now we have an understanding?" Pyrrha ask but the question is to Yang.
"We do Pyrrha."
"But does Yang want to put on lipstick?" Ruby ask after seeing her check many of it.
"It wouldn't be necessary for Yang, she's attractive enough", Hakaze said knowing that Yang already has the good looks anyway.
"What color's your dress?" Pyrrha ask as the 2 girls starts looking around like best friends before scene goes back to Pyrrha's video diary.
"People are going to believe whatever they want to believe about Yang, but I can tell you who she really was actually. The girl who agonized over what lipstick to buy so she would be pretty for her first date with Jaune. Yang who wanted to be brought home early so her mother wouldn't worry, but I know Yang is already had it with whatever fanatics that her mother has been putting her through."
Meanwhile Yang is checking herself out in the mirror, her hair is done up, she's got a little make-up on, she's wearing a pink prom dress and she looks stunning, a different person in fact.
"Wow Yang your beautiful", Ruby said while some of boys blushed and Tai and Qrow gives them a glare because they do not like them hitting on Yang, but that's just them being overprotected.
"I would prefer if my prom dress was the same color as my hair", Yang recommended.
"Well some of us want a a dress that's the same color as our hair, but some just want to wear whatever", Weiss said, in the past she is usually wears the dresses that her father recommends instead of the ones she wants to choose.
"But still it is a good dress", Coco complimented.
"Fashion was always been your thing Coco", Yang said on how much Coco loves about fashion stuff.
"Yang wasn't a monster, she was just a girl who hurt, in ways most of us if we were lucky, could never imagine she hurt", were back at Pyrrha's video diary.
"So if you can hear this, Yang, I'm really sorry about what happened and I hope that prom was good for you and made you happy. Until it turned into what it turned you into, I hope it was good and wonderful and magical", Pyrrha said to Yang on the camera and shuts off next.
"What does Pyrrha mean by Yang was turned into?" Tai asked but Hakaze will answer.
"If you all think Cinder with Mercury was already caught on what the security camera recorded, unfortunately no one in the security room was watching that. So they haven't been caught yet, this means Cinder did get her shot on pulling her prank on Yang just for revenge from being banned from the prom, but Cinder, Mercury and none of her friends never made out of there alive, but you'll see what I mean by that."
Back at the bedroom, Yang picks up a corsage from her dresser and goes to pin it on herself. Next she notice Raven is there at the doorway, Yang turns to Raven and holds out the corsage, an olive branch, some in the audiences finds Yang turning to her mother Raven was a bad idea because you never know what Raven is planning.
"Jaune dropped it off earlier, will you pin it on me momma?" Many in the audiences are getting a bad feeling about this.
For a moment, it did seemed like if Raven's was going to help Yang but then the stone wall goes up.
"Ah oh!" Sun said knowing what's going to happen next.
"Raven might snap back to her fanatics", Adam said due to what just happened at first.
"Red, maybe it would be red", after Raven said that, Yang starts to pin the corsage on herself.
"I see dirty pillows too", Raven said as Yang struggles with the corsage, plus some in the audiences do not like what Raven said because they know what that means.
"There are breasts, you have them momma, every female has them", Yang said and every female all except for Raven in the audiences nods their heads, then Yang accidentally pricks herself on the pin.
"Oh shoot", Yang tries to fix that.
"The dogs came and licked up the blood, then burn that girl's dress and pray for absolution."
"Momma, it's modest if you knew", Yang said but she knows what to do if Raven is going into volent mode.
"I know, call Jaune and say you changed your mind or say you're sick."
"Oh there she goes again", James said knowing that Raven gone into her fanatic again.
"Yang isn't going to listen this time James", Ozpin said knowing that Yang will retaliate this against Raven.
"Yang might have to do something just to be sure she can go to the prom without her sick mother interfering with it", Adam said next knowing what Yang needs to do for her to go to the prom without any interferences.
"You mean lie momma?" Yang said while putting on some lipstick.
"Lying for the Brother of Light, I can do it Yang", Raven said and Yang has something else to say about that.
"Or you could be happy for me", Yang said which Raven gets terrified, Raven pulls at her hair, claws at her face, punches herself in her mouth which disturbs Yang.
"Raven's losing it", Mercury said after seeing all that while some had their hands in their mouths.
"Raven feels like she can't control her daughter anymore with her fanatics", Emerald said believe this is reason why Raven is losing it.
"Stop it momma! Your going to make me stay home!" Suddenly a car honks knowing that Jaune is here, but then Raven grabs Yang because she was faking the entire thing.
"He is not going to come, it's a trick and same as always!" But Yang shakes her head but unsure.
"Raven has been faking it from the beginning so she can get Yang to stay!" Weiss shouted.
"Jaune is coming", Yang said but Raven keeps hold of Yang's arm.
"He'll trick you there!"
"Stop it! I've been nervous enough!" Yang might have to no choice but to retaliate with her telekinesis if this is not a confrontation she can win as she hurry down to the stairwell with Raven hot on her tail.
"Come on Yang get outside to meet Jaune", Pyrrha said to her on the screen.
"At least she needs to try to defend yourself from Raven", Blake said.
"She might as well", Sienna said knowing Raven isn't going snap out of it.
"Your sin will find you out, repent Yang! It's not too late to repent and atone! We'll pray together!"
"Please don't ruin this for me, momma, I'll be home early", but Raven isn't relenting or giving up.
"Your being very awful momma!" Yang said as Jaune steps out of his car.
"I will tell Jaune the truth Yang! That your father took me and that it was a sin and that from the original sin was born another sin! The Worst sin!" Raven threatens to lie to Jaune until Yang finally had enough and telekinetically opens the closet door and then she another invisible force from her telekinesis to force Raven into the closet.
"Yeah Raven, now you pray in that locker now instead of Yang", Tai said while Raven glares at him, originally Tai took Raven out of love in their Universe.
"She deserves that for now at least until Yang comes back", James said with a smile because like many in the audiences, he didn't like how Yang is being treated.
"Yang what are you doing?! Stop that!" A terrified Raven shouted and begged as she is forced into the closet.
"Your going to keep quiet until I'm gone", Yang then shuts the door with her telekinesis and locks it to keep Raven in there.
"YANG!" Raven calls out to her daughter in a loud shout while knocking at the front door is heard.
"But Yang, you have to be prepared for the worse of your mother when you get back home after the prom is finished", Hakaze gave Yang some advice on what's to come when she gets home.
"I know Hakaze", Yang is fully aware.
"But right now, Yang will be going to the prom with Jaune", Pyrrha said as the next scene goes on.
"But I get the feeling that Cinder is about to ruin it", Marrow took a guest because Cinder wasn't caught yet.
Back to the scene, Jaune stands there in a white jacket and black tuxedo pants, coming his way is a nervous Yang who steps outside to meet him. Jaune is also nervous too, they both take each other's breath away. In the audiences, some really like where this is going.
"Do I look okay Jaune?"
"You look very beautiful", Jaune said half-stunned.
"That's sweet of you Jaune", Yang said while Jaune blushed.
"Cut it Tai and you too Qrow", Summer said to because she does want some grandbabies and she doesn't want overprotectiveness coming from Tai and Qrow to get in the way of that.
Meanwhile at Pyrrha's house, Pyrrha is at her big scroll knowing it's going to be a very long night until her mother Pelina Nikos gently knocks at the door.
"You sure you don't want to come with us?" Pelina means that she and her husband Sam Nikos are going out for the night.
"I'm just going to stay home mom", Pyrrha said to her.
"Okay, we won't be too late", she said while feeling proud of her daughter.
"Pyrrha might not stay at home for that long, because she might find out what Cinder is up to", Velvet said knowing what Cinder is planning.
"Your correct Velvet", Hakaze said to her.
