The Thing 1982 Part 6
Hard to trust while hunting for the Alien Thing. Even when the Blood Test is suddenly sabotaged.

Next morning after the scuffle with Peter Port who destroyed all the vehicles, aircrafts and the radios leaving everyone isolated in the outpost, Jaune, Oscar and Oobleck help Peter to the toolshed which they will leave him there for now on. Anyway Oobleck sedates Peter to keep him calm.
"Peter you maybe right about this", Jaune told Peter before he leaving.
"Jaune? Watch Cardin, watch Cardin you here me?" Peter warns Jaune to keep an eye on Cardin due to how long he was with that dog and Jaune doesn't say anything but nods.
"You think Cardin is infected? Because we know he did spent much time with that dog before it reveals itself and attack the other dogs", Ruby wonders and everybody else stares Cardin.
"Hey, nobody knows if I'm infected for sure", Cardin said to them before turning back to screen.
"The question is what can they do anyway?" Maria ask the question which is a good one.
Jaune steps outside and meets with the others, "what's up now Doc?" Jaune ask Oobleck, "well Jaune, everything is beyond repair, all we can do is wait until spring", Oobleck said their options because they have no to contact anyone now that Peter trashed everything.
"Alright, everyone keep an eye on Cardin, he's been spending time with that dog", Jaune warned everybody to keep an eye on Cardin.
"If we need to know who's Human, Faunus and the Alien Thing, we take everyone's blood test", Oobleck that should take everyone.
"Well it's worth trying doing blood test to just to know who's what and who's not", Oobleck said.
"Good be the only to find out", Ozpin said.
"They will see who's the Alien Thing and then they will burn it", Glynda said what's next after they figure it out.
"Oh and about the spring part, only here Solitas gets spring, but everything still has snow", Hakaze explains the part about spring in Solitas.
Later on when they all got inside they get to the storage refrigerator where all of their blood test have been stored. They find blood leaking from the fridge and they opened it realizing it was sabotaged.
"Oh that's not good", Yang said.
"Perhaps the Alien Thing doesn't want them to know", Blake said to her.
"Most likely", Weiss said next.
"So that means they have do this the hard way", Ruby said but what choice there is anyway?
"What choice to they have?" Ren ask them all.
"Somebody got the blood and sabotaged it all", Oobleck said causing everyone to wonder.
"Was it broken into?" Jaune ask but that can't be possible.
"No, somebody opened it and closed it. Then locked it again", Oscar said, Sun is starting to twitch and become terrified.
"I'm about to panic", Sun comment after seeing how his counterpart is reacting.
"With their medical blood supply destroyed, this eliminates any chance for a blood tests that could reveal who's infected with the Alien Thing", Oobleck said, but this could mean they have to do it the hard way.
"Well, who's got access to it?" Jaune ask until Oobleck steps in.
"Only I can", Oobleck confess only he can.
"Plus I've got the only key here", Clover said holding the keys to open it.
"Okay, only Oobleck and Clover could have destroyed the blood supply", Winter said.
"But there other ways to open a lock Winter, picking the lock would have done the trick, plus they can't be sure if Oobleck and Clover are really the Alien Thing", James warns her and everyone that pick locks is another way to open lock doors.
"Would the blood test work?" Jaune ask if something like would have expose the Alien Thing.
"I think so Jaune", Oobleck answered, but rampant and paranoia is about to start among them, first Peter and now everyone else.
"Somebody else sure as hell thought so", Qrow said not liking Oobleck's answer.
"Who else could have use that key?" Jaune ask everyone.
"No one, I give it only to Oobleck when he needs it", Clover said that only Oobleck would have access to the key when he needs it.
"But still, could anyone have gotten it from you?" Jaune ask Clover if someone took the key while he wasn't looking at all.
"Jaune has a good point, anybody could have taken the key from him while he wasn't looking", Pyrrha said and yet everyone needs to know.
"Alien Thing being sneaky", Nora commented.
"I don't see how, when I'm finished I return it Clover right away", Oobleck explains what he does after he is done using the key.
"When was the last time you used it?" Qrow demanded to know.
"A day or so ago I guess", Oobleck said feeling uneasy at he moment, Clover senses the nervous and inquiring eyes on him.
"I suppose, well, it's possible someone might have lifted it from me, but perspiring", Clover said as the rampant and paranoia is starting to get even higher.
"That key ring of yours is always hooked to you belt, now how somebody get to it without you knowing?" Sun ask him how exactly.
"Look, I haven't been near that refrigerator", an upset and flustered Clover said. "Plus Oobleck is the only one who has any business with it", eyes shift to Oobleck.
"Hold it, Clover you been in here on several occasions", Oobleck said as the rampant and paranoia is getting even more higher then the last one.
"And the Doc thought of the test", Oscar said remembering it was Oobleck's idea to run the blood test to find the Alien Thing to begin with.
"I have a point on that, Professor Oobleck said that they should do a blood test to find the Alien Thing", Oscar said.
"But who sabotaged it?" Ruby wonders along with everyone wonders.
"I can say the Alien Thing sabotage the blood test to hide", Emerald took a guess.
"But who is the Alien Thing?" Cinder ask and that's a good question.
"So what?! Is that supposed to leave him in the clear?!" Ren asked in anger, then Sun panics and bolts out the door and everyone goes after him.
"Sun!"
"See I told you I panic", Sun said after they all saw his counterpart bolts out.
Where did Sun run off to is where all of the DC-15A Blaster Rifles are being kept and was able to get one as the others finally caught up to him and Clover aims his DC-17 Hand Blaster Pistol at him.
"Sun put it down!"
"No!"
"I'll put this right through your head!" Clover will blows hole on Sun if doesn't put the Rifle down.
"You guys going to let him give orders?! Clover could be one of those Alien Thigs!" Despite the tensions, but what Sun said could be true.
"Put it away Sun, just put it away", a calm Jaune said and Sun does so and Clover lowers his gun.
"I don't know about Oobleck, but I didn't go near that blood, but I think would be easy if I wasn't in charge", Clover said hands his DC-17 Hand Blaster to Qrow.
"Sorry everyone, but I don't think I'm qualified for it", Qrow declines and Jaune takes the Gun.
"Maybe it should be someone a bit more even-tempered, any objections?" Well none came about Jaune being in charge and Cardin hands his pocket knife to Jaune.
"Well Jaune knows the Alien Thing better then anyone else here", Ren said.
"That's why Jaune should be in charge", Pyrrha said.
Night time, everyone gathers what's left of the blood supplies and then Jaune burns it all with his BT X-42 Flamethrower. "I know I am Human, but any of you are these Alien Things then you should attack me right now, so one of you is still Human and Faunus", Jaune explains his point about the Alien Thing.
"This Alien Thing doesn't want to show itself, it was hide inside a imitation, but it's vulnerable out of in the open. If it takes us over then it's got no more enemies, no one left to kill it." Jaune explains another point on what's the Alien Thing's motivation.
"Doc, Clover, Cardin, the 3 of you walk here", the trio complied with what Jaune wants them to do.
"I want them quarantine so we can find out where the Alien Thing is", Jaune said what they need to.
"No you can't, Jaune I'm not a prisoner", Oobleck protest because he knows what Jaune has in mind but stops when Jaune points his BT X-42 Flamethrower at him.
"You do realize there is no choice, the Alien Thing can play innocent", Jaune said to everyone.
"There is no room for objection", Pyrrha said, even so most can be fearful of the Alien Thing.
