"I sold my soul for nothing…"

Deep within Hell, specifically in the Ring Of Pride, where all the damned souls and Sinners go, a certain, "Hellspawn", also known as Albert Francis Simmons, "Al" for short, he could be seen in the deepest parts of the alleyway of this dirty, corrupted city in Hell, huddled against the dumpster and was feeling nothing but true "DESPAIR".

"I am a fucking idiot for trusting Malebolgia…"

Spawn grips his head, digging his claws into his skull and spilling green blood, mentally cursing and yelling at himself for the stupid mistake he made.

"All I wanted was to be with my wife, Wanda, that's all I wanted, have my 2nd chance and devote everything to her…"

Spawn then yells loudly in frustration and slammed his fist against the wall, shattering it completely.

"THAT MOTHER FUCKER MADE ME WAIT 5 FUCKING YEARS!!!"

Spawn wanted to scream, he wanted to get angry, he wanted to, "KILL", but yet, all he could do was just place his face in his hands and just simply, look so, "Defeated".

"Wanda moved on… Forgetting me and remarrying… Even has her own daughter now… Having a whole new life… Without me…"

Spawn clenched his fist, wanted to get upset with his wife, for betraying him in such a way, yet he knew that wasn't true, for all she knew, he was literally dead to her, if anything, he should be proud, to see her have the strength to move on and be happy, even if that means he would suffer because of it.

"At least she married Terry, the only man I could trust with my life to keep her safe…"

And with that, that's all Spawn could say, he can at least take in the comfort that his wife was ok and happy with her life, though for himself, he just simply curled up and hide himself in his red flowing cape, wanting nothing more than to spend the rest of his time in Hell, alone, just himself and his never ending heartbroken undead life, to be damned and suffer forever and evermore… Though before Al Simmons could brood and be in despair in peace, he heard the sounds of footsteps, seemingly getting closer to himself, which of course caught his attention and made him look up, wondering who would actually want to see such a sad man.

"Hey? Are you ok?"

Basically the main idea for this story, is that Malebolgia tricked Al Simmons, aka Spawn, that once he made the deal to "See His Wife Again", instead of staying on Earth, he went straight to Hell once "Seeing" his wife again, and now, well, you can imagine what happens next.

(BTW, Should Charlie Meet Spawn and go to protect the Hotel, maybe fall in love with Carmilla Carmine, OR, Should Spawn Meet Millie and work for I.M.P, as well as replace Moxxi?)
