Heya Readers, and welcome to my first published Fanfic of 2024!
Sequel to Aftermath.
Previously in the final chapter of Aftermath, Pandora under disguise of the Vigilante 'The Huntress' had been engaged in a deadly battle against Hanako, the mistress of the Foot's Leader Lord Arashi who had been in Chicago negotiating a business deal with Boss Kodama and along with him and the 95th Street Gang were committing crimes in the city.
Wanting vengeance against Hanako for injuring her father in the throat so much he couldn't talk, Pandora left the sanctuary to seek her out and finally kill her.
But unknown to her, Tyroth, the Knights and the Hamato Clan had gotten wind of what had happened by Sonia and the Geckolings who had discovered the Hybrid's secret.
They soon arrived at the fight, but Boss Kodama had set off a bomb injuring but not killing the Knights and the Hamato Clan by some miracle, yet, Pandora wasn't found amongst the wreckage….

Chapter One
Gone Girl
"PANDORA!"
Tyroth screamed into the air as thunder rumbled above then rain began to fall.
His roar was heard by everyone within radius including those at the van that Cam and Barry had driven along with James and Dahlia in the back.
Donatello, Monalisa and Raphael's eyes widened as they heard Tyroth's roar as well as Pandora's name.
Donatello shook his head in shock and looked at Monalisa and Raphael as the most unimaginable thoughts ran through their minds concerning the young hybrid's fate.
Monalisa blinked as it sunk in what must have happened and her mouth fell open, then she went rigid and her knees buckled as she collapsed to the ground in a grief stricken faint!
Sephie was the first to catch her and she held her sister in spirit close, tears falling from her eyes as she tried to steady her.
Raphael meanwhile brought his hands to his mouth as he took in what he heard, and he felt like he had been shot in the stomach as he looked to the sky and opened his mouth to scream, yet no sound came out due to the fact he was still mute by Hanako's attack.
Donatello instantly ran to Raphael to comfort him and wrapped his arms around him, his own tears falling.
Amber ran over to help comfort the two turtles despite her own grief as she only knew how it felt to lose a loved one.
The other Knights caught wind of the situation and shook their heads in saddened disbelief.
"No! It can't be true!" Jack murmured.
"She's not! She's not!" Sarah cried as she shook her head.
Heather said nothing as tears fell, as did Jun who sighed sadly and started praying softly.
Sonia and the Geckolings however were stunned as they heard Tyroth's yell then they saw the emotions of Raphael and Monalisa before looking at each other.
"No! Pandora!" the Geckolings cried "No! She can't be!"
Sonia, her skin turning blue to black started sobbing, and she opened her arms to the Geckolings who wrapped their arms and wings around the chameleon, and they wept together.
Cam and Barry looked at each other and then at Monalisa and Raphael.
"Oh no…" Barry whispered as he put his hand to his mouth.
"It's the worst thing." Cam muttered shaking his head "For a parent to lose their child."
Kate and Percy who were next to the unconscious Michelangelo who was being analysed by James whilst Dahlia worked on Devina.
Luckily the turtle had just been knocked out and had suffered some sprains and bruises as well as some cracks to his shell and plastron, but nothing to serious given how Percy and Kate had covered him.
"No way!" Percy whispered then looked at Michelangelo.
Kate stroked his forehead.
"Oh God." she said "If Pandora's…. If she's…." she didn't want to say the word as she didn't want to believe it.
James and Dahlia were just as shocked, but they had to continue with their work especially on those like Michelangelo who needed medical attention.
Sharky having taken the water looked to where Tyroth was on the banks of the river, and he frowned with determination and ran over to the Dragon before anyone could stop him.
"Tyroth!" He shouted as he approached the dragon who continued to stand on the banks holding Pandora's Mr Swinger with tears in his eyes.
Sharky looked at the river.
"Boss." He said, "I'll find her, and I'll bring her back!"
Tyroth looked up, and he soon snapped out of his grief-stricken state and looked at the mutant shark.
He knew Sharky was the best swimmer and so if by some miracle Pandora was nearby, he could find her, and quickly should she be in danger of drowning.
Tyroth cleared his throat and looked to the mutant Shark.
"You found Ryujin when I lost him in the fight against Vulstrun, I know you can find Pandora! Find her!" he said placing a hand on his shoulder "Please!"
Sharky nodded.
"I'll search the whole river!" he said then dived into the water disappearing beneath the current to search for the lost Hybrid.
Tyroth watched him go then he hurried to the Van as he knew the humans would investigate the explosion and he needed to make sure everyone else was alright.
He soon arrived at the van where he saw everyone was looking so upset and were crying.
Monalisa and Raphael were holding each other tightly, Monalisa was sobbing whilst Raphael was equally devastated and was holding his wife tightly.
Sephie was hugging Monalisa from behind whilst Jack was trying to comfort Raphael.
Seeing her brother running over, Amber rushed to him.
"Tyroth!" she cried "It's not true? She isn't…?"
"I don't know Amber." Tyroth said quickly "Sharky's dived in to see if he can find her! I just hope he can!"
Monalisa and Raphael looked up.
They weren't sure what to think when they heard Tyroth's words, but they wanted to hold onto the hope that Pandora was found and that she was alive.
"What about the rest of you?" Tyroth asked and he saw Kate's hair was still soaked in blood, so much so anyone would think she was a red-head.
"We're fine," Amber reported "Well those who can drink the water, that's helped us recover quicker, Donnie, Mona and Raphael suffered some rather nasty bruises luckily, thankfully because the Geckolings shielded them, but Mike's been knocked out, and Devina's still out of it…"
As Sephie said the last part, a cough was soon heard, and the Dragon and marine iguana looked over to see Dahlia helping Devina sit up.
"Well, looks like she's recovered, I think?" Amber said.
Dahlia helped Devina sit upright and checked her over.
"Are you alright?" the wolf asked.
"I think so." Devina replied, "What happened?"
She looked around then rubbed her head as she remembered then saw Dahlia's bloodied white coat.
"What the?" she asked then remembered the bomb going off.
"It affected you too She-Wolf?" she asked.
"It turned the Van over! The shock wave." Dahlia explained then looked up at Tyroth.
"Devina's awake Tyroth!" she called over.
"Thank Goodness!" Tyroth said as he went over to Devina.
"Boss." Devina cried "The explosion, I…I got blasted into a wall, knocked me for six! Is, is everyone alright?" she asked desperately.
It was then Tyroth looked pained, and Dahlia sighed wiping a tear from her eye.
"What? What is it? What's happened?" Devina asked.
"All but one has been recovered, Devina." Dahlia sniffed.
"Who?" Devina demanded "Who's missing?"
Tyroth lowered his head.
"Pandora…" he said.
Devina's jaw dropped and she gasped.
"No! No way! How!?" she cried.
"We believe she was thrown into the river when the bomb went off." Tyroth said "I remember running to her to get her away from a grenade Hanako had thrown at her, but it went off before I got to her, and it was just a few seconds after that the bomb went off!"
Devina stood up.
"I'll find her Tyroth." She said, "I can use my life vision to find her!"
Dahlia was taken aback as the Vampiress stood up.
"Steady!" she said holding out her hands.
"I'm alright." Devina replied, "I can do this."
Tyroth narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists, hoping that the Vampiress could spot Pandora along with Sharky's help.
"Okay." He said looking up at Devina "If you feel well enough to do it, go and help Sharky and report back when you find her!" he held up his Shell cell.
Devina nodded and swirls of black smoke covered her body and before long she was in her Vampire/werewolf hybrid form then she spread her wings.
"We shall report in soon!" she called in her darker deeper voice as she took off.
Tyroth watched her go then turned to Cam, Barry, James, and Dahlia.
"Get everyone into the van, we need to go!"
"No!"
Tyroth looked over his shoulder to see Monalisa's distraught face as Sephie held her back.
"No! I won't leave my baby!"
"Mona!" Sephie held her best friend back and tried to calm her, Raphael tried to help but he wasn't having any luck given the fact he was mute and unable to get through to his mate.
"I won't go without her!" Monalisa wailed.
"Mona!" Sephie pulled her close and held her friend's head to her chest "Sharky and Devina are looking for her! They'll find her! She can't be far!"
Tyroth nodded as he tried to speak positive despite the despair he felt.
"Yes! They'll find her! Sharky can search the waters and Devina will search the air with her life detection vision!"
Raphael looked at Tyroth and started signing to him.
'My girl! Will they find my girl?!'
Tyroth placed his paws on Raphael's hands and was about to speak when the sounds of sirens were heard as well as voices of the public.
"Oh crap!" he said "Everyone! In the Van!"
At once everyone started to pile into the back of the van, yet Monalisa tried to hang back as did Raphael.
"Don't argue!" Sephie cried as she practically pulled Monalisa into the van and Tyroth threw Raphael inside and the turtle had to be restrained by Jack and Jun.
"You coming boss?" Percy asked as he placed his hands on the doors of the van.
"No!" Tyroth said gesturing with his paw "Just go! Just get back to Mutopia! I'll hang back here and wait for Sharky and Devina!"
Percy nodded and quickly pulled the doors shut yet Monalisa and Raphael looked out the windows as Cam and Barry drove away from the wreckage.
"Find her!" Monalisa screamed "Find my baby girl!"
Tyroth bit his lip as he watched the van drive away and he flew up onto one of the neighbouring buildings and looked down as he saw the police, the fire department, ambulances as well as the public gather around the destroyed warehouse.
As he looked at the wreckage, he glared as he remembered the dishonourable actions of Boss Kodama, and he wondered if he had survived the blast, if he had fled like a coward and let everyone get blown to pieces.
Yet he couldn't think of that right now, as he knew Pandora was still out there, and if she was somewhere in the river, if she wasn't drowned that he, Sharky, and Devina could get her home.
He prayed to all of Valhalla that the hybrid wasn't dead, his angry emotions were now replaced with fear.
Despite the fact he was furious with his niece for her actions of late, he still loved her dearly, and knew it would break his heart, not to mention her family's if she had perished.
"Mighty Odin." He prayed putting his paws together "Please…let her be alive…please…." He then looked back at the river and thought of Sharky searching the waves as well as Devina searching the skies and searching the banks in case she was washed ashore.
"Please! Find her! Bring her home…."
Everyone has feared the worst that Pandora is gone, yet Sharky and Devina are searching for the Hybrid whilst Tyroth waits for news.
Yet is all hope lost?
