In 2014, 10 years after when Mystery inc: Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Shaggy Rogers & Their talking Great Dayne dog: Scooby Doo, Defeated the Evil Masked Figure (Dr Jonathan Jacobo), who managed to create an army of monsters, using the costumes from Mystery Inc's previous cases, by infusing them with Randomonium, The Gang haven't had many new cases for the past decade… until they see news reports regarding the 'Black Prom Massacre' in Chamberlain, Maine that they heard about last year, the reports regard of sightings of its Infamous Bloody Prom Queen: Carrie White, in Coolsville…
The gang research web pages files on the internet of Carrie White, regarding her home & school life, leading up to the prom massacre, as well as her presumed death, to see whether Carrie is truly dead or not… Through reading everything, the gang feel truly sorry for her, learning of all the abuse she endured from her own mother, and almost everyone at school, whom were all killed on Prom Night, seeing Carrie as a victim turned victimizer… but regarding Carrie's presumed death, her body still remains missing… leading to Mystery Inc believing they've got another mystery on their hands, after so long, and soon begin investigating and searching for clues to Where Carrie White could be hiding in Coolsville…
Meanwhile, at the Old Coolsville Mining town, Carrie, who has been on the run for a year, is seeking shelter, overwhelmed with guilt & sorrow, for killing all those who abused and tormented her all her life. While walking through the mines, Carrie falls down a shaft, before landing in a strange area, looking like an abandoned laboratory, but the rivers of a strange green substance (Randomonium) are still active and flowing… Carrie takes a closer look at the glowing green rivers, but when a noise sends into alert, she slips and accidently falls Into the Randomonium river, and almost drowns in the liquid… But then… Carrie levitates out of the Randomonium river, covered in glowing green substance, but her eyes are glowing the brightest, as the Randomonium didn't drown her… it enhanced her powers to greater levels…
