The Following night (Mavis's Birthday Party), All the monsters are enjoying their time celebrating, including Carrie herself. As it being a party, Carrie decides to dress for the occasion, with influence from Dracula, donning a dress like a fusion of a prom dress and witch's attire, having to make extra make up additions, as she, Mavis & Dracula are still unsure how everyone else would react if they were to discover that Carrie was human…
As Carrie dances to the music being played by the band consisting of Dracula's Friends: Wayne, Frank, Murray & Griffin, Mavis eventually shows up, wearing a new additional homemade cape to her attire. After complimenting each other, Carrie & Mavis dance together among the crowds of monsters, Even Dracula dances among the other monsters, though keeping an eye on Carrie & Mavis. But as Carrie & Mavis continue to dance together, their feelings towards to each other begin to grow stronger and stronger, before Mavis makes the first move, despite Carrie confessing she feels insanely scared & nervous, Mavis tells her it's a good thing, before sharing their first kiss…
But when Dracula sees Carrie & Mavis kissing, despite his acceptance of Carrie, his overprotectiveness of Mavis gets the better of him, and angrily confronts them, scaring Carrie. Mavis defends Her's and Carrie's actions, as well as her opinions on the outside world, leading to Mavis & Dracula arguing, causing him to reveal what had really happened at the human village, and that he planned to scare Mavis into staying, to protect her, and that Carrie wasn't part of the plan, infuriating Mavis with her father, before Quasimodo, along with his pet rat Esmeralda, reveal that Carrie is actually a superpowered human, terrifying everyone, except Mavis & Dracula. Carrie tries to calm everyone, trying to show she's not dangerous to anyone, despite being a superpowered human, but ends up running away crying, thinking not even monsters would truly accept her for who she is, before Mavis goes after her, telling Dracula to stay away from both her & Carrie…
