'How the hell did it all come to this?'
Right now, a boy had just woken up from his bed.
The boy was none other than John, a weeb who had gotten himself killed trying to learn how to ride a bike.
'Where the hell am I?'
'Whereeeeeeeeee'

.
'I should calm down first.'
John got out of bed and put on a pair of old-style slippers.
He then started checking through all the drawers.
He soon found many documents
Luckily, the documents were in Japanese, and John had learned Japanese like many other weebs.
He spent around an hour going through all the documents.
He found out that he was a clanless citizen of the Hidden Leaf Village.
He was currently in his last year at the Ninja Academy.
His new name after being transported to the Naruto world was Shiun Ryujin.
'At least the name sounds cool.'
Shiun soon learned that this was not the normal Naruto world he knew from the anime but an
alternate universe where dungeons appeared 30 years ago.
It also seemed that the gaps between wars were longer.
Shiun found a book that explained the exact timeline of this universe and the point in time at which he had reincarnated.
The First Great Shinobi War happened 500 years ago, the Second around 400 years ago, and the Third one 250 years ago.
Still, the villages continued to conflict with one another in border disputes, but a full-fledged war had not broken out.
Shiun discovered that most major incidents related to the main characters were recorded in the academy books, as if those events had taken place without wars.
'I guess even if this is a realistic world, the
events from the anime still happened the way they were shown.'
Shiun made a mental note that, even if things were similar to the anime, he would surely witness a lot of new developments.
One of the major developments would definitely be dungeons.
Both of Shiun's parents were dead.
One had just died a year ago.
So, he was pretty independent right now, probably with no family or relatives.
Quite lonely.
Shiun didn't find anything about his friends, only class group photo with Naruto in it.
'So, I am most probably at the start of the original anime. This is for the best, I guess.'
'I should aim for a harem, heheheheheh.'
In his mind, Shiun was making plans to build a harem.
'Let's see my cheat abilities.'
"System" - Shiun
"Quest" - Shiun
"Inventory" - Shiun
"Gacha" - Shiun
...
Shiun tried different things for half an hour, but nothing happened.
'Am I not the main character?'
Shiun was sad but still had hope in his heart about having a cheat skill, and his dream of a
harem was still not broken.
