Our two heroes were now both leaning with their arms on the railing of the balcony, no words were heard for the time being, but deep inside there was a lot to say, each had something to admit to the other, the light of the moon shined on them as if inviting them to start the conversation.

Celina sighed before deciding to break the silence.

"Now or never, I know I can do this" She thought.

She gazed at him for a moment before starting.

"You know, I was thinking about something lately" Celina said.

"About what?" Yuya asked meeting her gaze.

"Well, everything, how my life has changed since the dimensional war has ended." Celina said with a thoughtful look.

"I see, I'm glad that you can enjoy your life, Celina" Yuya said with a little smile.

"But that's not all..." Celina said, turning to him again.

"What else?" Yuya asked curious.

"It's difficult to explain, but I think everything that happened, from the start of the conflict, me coming to the standard dimension, meeting you and the Lancers, and cooperating to defeat a now common enemy... maybe it happened because it was decided by our own fates" Celina said trying to find the words to voice this feeling she had.

"I think I get what you mean... but I don't know if what I've done was enough, there are times when I think back when you and Zuzu were in danger, and fear overtakes me..." Yuya said, his hand shaking a little, Celina then put hers on top of his, which had a calming effect.

"I can understand that better than anyone, I was there when you were fighting to protect me from Barret and you did your best. Don't be that hard on yourself, I could see your internal struggle between wanting to brings smiles to people and fighting in that war..." Celina said thinking back to the past events.

"Sometimes I was on the verge of giving up, but luckily I had you by my side, you inspired me with your will to never give up and strong personality, I really have to thank you Celina" Yuya said looking at her in the eyes.

"Honestly, I'm the grateful one, you showed me that we can have hope for a future without violence, where everyone is happy. When you managed to reunite the people in the Synchro Dimension, I knew I was right, you can do everything when you give your all" Celina said exchanging his same look, they were now both intensely looking at each other.

"But in the end you are the one who saved me from my darkness, when Z-Arc took over my body, I thought it was over... but you still were able to get through me and saved everyone" Yuya said, his tone filled with care.

"Not alone... Zuzu, Lulu and Rin helped me, also Rei's spirit was there to guide us, and that is one of the reason I was thinking about fate in the first place, you also made us come back with the help of the others, it's like our destinies were deeply intertwined" Celina said, rivaling his tone, she then put her hands on his shoulders, him doing the same on her waist.

"Me, one of Z-Arc reincarcations, and you one of Rei's... It all makes sense now." Yuya finally understood where she was getting at.

"Exactly, it was written that I had to step in and keep you safe from the darkness in the first place, and that wasn't even the main reason I wanted to be there for you" Celina closed her eyes for a moment, small tears could be seen descending from her eyes, as she continued.

"As you know I was raised as a soldier, always counting only on myself, and I had noone to rely on... but you changed me. For the first time I felt I was cared for, having you by my side made feel safe, and happy too... I knew we had each other's backs at any moment. " She opened her eyes looking at him,

"Celina... I..." Yuya tried to find the words.

"I had a similar experience, as much as It was true that I wanted to make everyone smile, mines wasn't a genuine one, when my dad disappeared it was terrible... desperation was eating me from inside... but when I met you, I felt like that void was slowly getting filled, more time we spent together, the more I got attached to you and even in the scariest moment, even only hearing your voice could give me the strenght I needed to go on, you gave me back the happiness I lost." Yuya said as they slowly got closer.

"I felt the same, that smile of yours heated the fire in my heart, you managed to put a smile on my face too... you gave me a new reason to fight, and I did my best because I wanted that warm feeling to last forever" Celina said as she put her hands on his cheeks.

"Seeing that splendid smile filled me with energy to go forward, yours is the one I care about the most" Yuya said as his grip on her waist got a little stronger.

"I love you, Yuya Sakaki" She finally said it, she was even ready to be rejected, but she wanted him to know, they cared for each other but romantic love was a whole different thing, luckily she didn't have to worry about that.

"I love you too, Celina" And he proceeded to kiss her, making the first move, he closed his eyes, hers widened in surprise before slowly closing too, to enjoy the moment.

Differently from the first kiss, this was a real romantic one, longer and filled with passion, knowing both shared those same feelings.

After a minute of kissing they separated from each other for air need, both had big blush on their faces.

"I didn't anticipated that for this evening, but I can't complain" Yuya said a sheepish smile.

"Me neither, but it was awesome" Celina smiled too, she proceeded in engaging them in an hug.

"So... you are officially my boyfriend now, right?" Celina said with an irresistible smile on her pretty face.

"It would be an honor for me to have the most beatiful girl across every dimension as my girlfriend" Yuya said while smiling, she found him just so cute.

"You are quite handsome yourself, you know?" Celina said starting a game of advances.

"Not as gorgeous as you, that's for sure" Yuya said joining that happily.

They kissed again and as the moonlight shined on our two protagonists, they knew a now colorful future was waiting for them.
