Ash and Astral were now in the iceberg zone as Ash was still carrying Lulu as she was enjoying being carried by the boy she was in love with. Ash on the other hand was getting tired of carrying her even though he was really strong.
"Hey Lulu." Ash said.
"Yes, Satoshi." Lulu said still enjoying being carried.
"I'm going to put you down now." Ash said but Lulu wasn't ready for it to end.
"What no! Just a little longer." Lulu said but Ash just looked at her.
"Either I put you down gently or I drop you. Your choice." Ash said but Lulu knew he would not drop her.
"Nice try Satoshi but I know that you will never drop…" Lulu didn't get to finish as Ash started to count.
"1 2 3." Ash said as Lulu could tell he was serious.
"Ok I'll get down." Lulu said.
"I told you." Ash said.
"Yes you did." Lulu said as she looked at Ash.
"What?" Ash asked knowing that Lulu had something on her mind.
"Satoshi I've been in love with ever since you came to live with us. So will you be my boyfriend." Lulu said with a small blush on her face.
Ash did not know what to do because of all kinds of reasons. First, he is already in a relationship with Celina. Second, he was worried on how it will affect their foster brother and foster sister relationship. Ash kept going over everything in his head until Astral spoke.
"The more you hesitate the more awkward it will be." Astral said.
"I know." Ash mumbled as Lulu just stared.
"Well Lulu thing is." Ash said.
"Yes, satoshi?" Lulu asked, hoping that he would return her feelings.
Before he could answer, Zuzu and Celina appeared from a glacier. Ash noticed this and was secretly relieved that he was able to avoid answering for now.
"Zuzu,Celina there you guys are." Ash said, getting the girls to notice.
"Ash!" Zuzu and Celina said confusing Lulu as to why they called him by that name.
"Glad you two are ok because.." Ash started but Zuzu stopped him.
"We already know about duel academy invading, and I also know that Celina is from the fusion. Thanks for telling me that by the way." Zuzu said as she looked at Ash a little angry.
"Sorry." Ash said Zuzu was about to tell him that it was no big deal but Lulu spoke.
"Alright what's going on? Why are there two Girls that look like me and why are they calling you Ash?" Lulu asked.
"Well Zuzu is the standard version of you while Celina is the fusion version of you but you all are your own person and why are they calling me Ash. Well long story short I lost my memory for a while and that's why they call me Ash." Ash said.
"I see well it's nice to meet you both." Lulu said.
"Nice to meet you, Lulu and Shay is going to be so happy that you're here." Zuzu said, surprising Lulu.
"Shay's here!" Lulu said as Celina spoke.
"Yes he is and he's not a big fan of me at the moment." Celina said.
"Because you're from fusion?" Lulu asked.
"That and I'm Ash's Girlfriend." Celina said.
The word Girlfriend echoed through Lulu's head as it felt like she was spinning around as a spot light shined on her making 4 shadows.
"I'm sorry but what do you mean by girlfriend?" Lulu asked as her left eye twitched.
"I mean like in a relationship." Celina said.
Lulu then held her head down with her hair covering her eyes. Celina saw this and was getting nervous.
"Are you ok?" Celina asked.
"No, I'm not ok." Lulu answered as she then grabbed Celina's jacket.
"Why you and not me?! I've been with and grown up with Satoshi and been there for him through the good times and the bad times and yet he chooses you." She said as she cried as she let go of Celina.
"You feel better now that you got that off your chest?" Celina asked.
"A little." Lulu said.
"Ok then so how about we share Ash." Celina said, shocking Ash.
"Wait what?!" Ash said.
"Really?" Lulu asked as Celina nodded.
Lulu then looked at Ash and hoped he would agree with the saw the look in her eyes and decided to agree.
"If Celina's ok then I'm ok. But are you ok with it Lulu?" Ash asked as Lulu smiled.
"Of course I am!"Lulu said as she jumped and wrapped her arm around his neck and then the two kiss lasted a few seconds as Astral floated beside them.
"Congratulations on getting a second girlfriend, Ash." Astral said as Lulu noticed him then got a pale look on her face.
"Ghost!" Lulu screamed but Astral corrected her.
"Alien technically that people who can see duel spirits can see." Astral said but that just made it work.
"Alien ghost!" Lulu screamed again as she fainted getting everyone to look at Ash.
"Lulu has a fear of Aliens and Ghosts." Ash said.
As he explained why Lulu was afraid of Aliens and ghosts with them understanding Zuzu then told Ash to go behind the glacier that Moonshadow was on the other side Ash was going to ask why but Celina just told him to do it and to take Lulu with him.
Ash did what he was told and carried Lulu to Moonshadow then set her down gently and then went to talk with the ninja as Lulu woke up.
"What happened?" Lulu asked as Astral answered.
"You fainted when you saw me." Astral said as Lulu was about to scream but Ash stopped her.
"Lulu Astral is not going to hurt you, he's my friend." Ash said as Lulu looked at the Alien who shook his head yes.
"If you say so." Lulu said just then Zuzu and Celina came out from behind the glacier but they were wearing each other's clothes confusing Ash.
"Uh, why change into each other's clothes?" Ash asked as Zuzu answered.
"Simple Obelisk force is looking for Celina and by switching clothes they will come after me and yes I know that it's dangerous but Celina's my sister and I want to protect her." Zuzu said.
"I understand but even though you look alike there are some differences that Obelisk force won't be fooled by." Ash said getting Zuzu curious.
"And that is?" Zuzu asked.
"Mostly your hair and eye color." Ash said until Lulu added something.
"Really I thought it was because of their…" Lulu started but didn't finish as Ash covered her mouth with his hand but Zuzu knew what she was going to say.
"I think It's best that you guys go to Shay right now." Zuzu said.
"But?" Ash said.
"Now!" Zuzu said with an anger mark on her head.
Ash and the others hurried to Shay at the ruin zone while Zuzu headed deeper in the ice Kaiba was in the ruin zone and was looking for more opponents.
(Ruin zone)
Kaiba was walking and searching for a duelist and he was getting really bored with not finding a good opponent.
"Not a single duelist that I'd face was up on my level. That Declan really needs a better way to find lancers candidates." Kaiba said as he continued to walk when Yugi who was still Atem showed up.
"Kaiba!" Atem shouted.
"What is it?" Kaiba said in his usual tone.
"Duel Academy has begun their invasion." Atem said as Kaiba smiled.
"Really maybe they will give me more of a challenge." Kaiba said as Atem was not happy at what he said.
"This isn't a game Kaiba! If we don't stop them then the stander…" Atem started but was stopped.
"As long as I can get a good challenge I don't care what happens." Kaiba said getting Atem more angry.
"Kaiba!" Atem shouted.
"Don't act like you're not here for different reasons. How's the search for that Nightshroud duelist going?" Kaiba said as Atem fell silent.
(Flashback)
Yugi was running to an abandoned building. The reason was because Tea called him and told him that Joey was dueling a strange mask duelist. Yugi couldn't get any more information from Tea as she was cut off. Once he got there and saw that his friends weren't there.
"Hey are you guys here? Joey,Tristan,Tea!" Yugi shouted as A mysterious voice answered.
"No need to shout." A voice said.
Yugi turned around and saw a teen with medium long brown hair wearing a blackjack with purple around the collar and gold trims, black pants and shirt. He also had a mask on with light blue eye lenses and a red gem in the middle.
"Who are you and where are my friends?" Yugi demanded.
"My name is Nightshroud and as for your friends I have them right here." Nightshroud said as he showed Yugi 3 cards that had images of his friends getting him to gasp in horror.
"What did you do to them?!" Yugi shouted.
"Well me and the blonde one dueled and I won then I turned him and the rest into cards. It's that simple." Nightshroud said, getting Yugi furious.
"Change them back now!" Yugi said but Nightshroud just chuckled.
"Sorry can't anyway I need to get going." Nightshroud said as his duel disk started to glow.
"Wait, you're not going anywhere!" Yugi said.
"Don't worry, I have a feeling that are paths will cross again soon." Nightshroud said as he vanished, getting Yugi to scream in anger.
(Flashback end)
After his encounter with Nightshroud Yugi spent months searching for the masked duelist with no luck until he met Declan and told him about duel academy and how that there was a good chance that Nightshroud was with them.
"Yes it's true that I have my reasons to help Declan but that's not going to stop me from doing what's right!" Atem said before Kaiba could answer Ash,Celina and Lulu sound up.
"Yugi!" Ash said as Atem looked at him.
"Ash." Atem said.
"I know I'd promised that we would duel when I was finished with Gong but right now people from a place called Duel academy are attacking and by the looks on your guys faces you know all this already." Ash said as saw the looks on Atem's and Kaiba's faces.
"Yeah we do, Declan told us." Atem said.
"You think we would be in this tournament for amateurs if we didn't." Kaibai said in his usual tone.
"You're mean." Lulu said, getting the two boys to look at her.
"You gotta be kidding me, another one." Kaiba said.
"Ash, who is this?" Atem asked.
"This is Lulu, she's from the Xyz dimension and Celina's from fusion." Ash said as Atem's eyes widened.
"You're from duel academy?!" Atem asked as he looked at Celina.
"Yes I am." Celina answered.
Before Atem was able to ask her about Nightshroud a squad of obelisk force members along with their general appeared. The general was an adult male with short spiky blond hair with shaved sides and wearing a duel academy general outfit with army dog tags around his neck.
"Alright you standard residence I am Lt. Surge and by order of the professor you must surrender." Surge said.
Ash was shocked to see another version of someone from the Pokémon would and to make it worse he was on duel academy before Ash could say anything Kaiba spoke up.
"Surrender, you got to be joking? Sounds like your professor is sure that he will win." Kaiba said as Surge didn't like his attitude.
"Looks like someone should show some discipline and that someone is me!" Surge said as he activated his duel disk as the duel blade looked like a sword with yellow edges as Kaiba smirked.
"You four take care of the runts while I'll deal with this guy." Kabia said as he activated his duel disk as everyone got ready but Lulu just hid behind Ash.
"Duel!" Kaiba and Surge said.

"I'll go first!" Kaiba said. (Hand:5)
"I started by playing Polymerization with it. I fuse my two Blue-eyes that are in my hand so I can bring out the ancestor of all dragons I fusion summon First of the dragons!" as a giant ancient serpent-like dragon appeared.
First of the dragons LV9: (ATK/2700)
"I end my turn." Kaiba said as Surge smirked. (Hand:2)
"My turn I draw!" Surge said. (Hand:6)
"I also play Polymerization and I fuse my Overdrive with my Oni tank to bring out an unstoppable machine I fusion summon deploy Castle tank!" A white castle looking tank with long tank treads and a giant cannon out of the drawbridge.
(Castle tank LV6: Attribute Earth: ATK/2100/DEF/3000: Type machine/Fusion/ Effect: When special summon destroy one monster on the opponent's field and deal 300 points of damage equal to its level.)
"And when my Castle is summoned I can destroy one monster on your field and deal you 300 points of damage equal to its level!" Surge said.
Castle tank fired at Kaiba's dragon but missed shocking Surge while Kaiba had a smug look on his face.
"What happened?" The general asked.
"Simple because my dragon can't be destroyed by card effects. You're from Fusion shouldn't you know this?" Kaiba mocked as Surge got angry.
"I'm going to wipe that smug look off your face! I play the equip spell 7 complete with it. I can increase my Castle's attack or defense by 700!" Surge said.
Castle Tank LV6: (ATK/2100=2800)
"Now Castle Tank ground that dragon!" He said as his castle fired at Kaiba's dragon creating a dust cloud.
Kaiba LP: 3900
The dust cloud settled to reveal Kaiba's dragon still there. Before Surge could ask what happened Kaiba spoke.
"Are you really from Fusion because if you are then you would also know that First of the dragons can only be destroyed by normal monsters." Kaiba said as Surge just frowned.
"I set one card face down and end my turn." Surge said. (Hand:1)
"My turn I draw!" Kaiba said.(Hand:3)
"I play Silver's cry! This spell lets me summon a normal type dragon from my graveyard so come forth Blue-eyes white dragon!" He shouted as his dragon appeared.
Blue-eyes white dragon LV8: (ATK/3000)
Surge just stared at the dragon trying not to show fear as Kaiba ordered his dragon to attack.
"Now my Blue-eyes demolish his tank with white lightning! As his dragon unleashed a lightning breath attack destroying Surge's tank.
Surge LP:3800
"I play the trap back to the frontline! Thanks to this trap my tank comes back in defense mode." Surge said as his tank came back.
Castle tank LV6: (DEF/3000)
"And thanks to its effect I can destroy your Blue-eyes and deal you 300 points of damage equal to its level!" As Castle tank fired a cannonball at Kaiba's Blue-eyes and destroyed it.
Kaiba LP: 1500
"I end my turn." Kaiba said. (Hand:2)
"My turn I draw." Surge said. (Hand:3)
Surge looked at his hand then the field and smiled as if he knew that he was going to win as he took a card from his hand.
"I set a card facedown and end my turn." Surge said. (Hand:2)
"My turn I draw." Kaiba said as Surge had a thought. (Hand:3)
"I know how you Blue-eyes duelist work. You focus all on that dragon and I know that you all have ways to bring it back, so I have my magic cylinder in play to win the duel." Surge thought.
"I play pot of greed, this lets me draw 2 cards." Kaiba said as he added the cards to his hand.
"Next I'll follow that with the spell Stamping destruction! If I have a dragon type monster on my field, I can destroy 1 spell or trap card on your field then deal you 500 points of damage." He explained as Surge's set card was destroyed.
Surge LP:3300
"No!" Sugar shouted.
"Next I play the ritual spell Chaos Form with this I send my last LV8 Blue-eyes that's in my hand so I can ritual summon Blue-eyes Chaos Max Dragon!" Kaiba said as a really powerful blue-eyes appeared.
Blue-Eyes Chaos Max Dragon LV8: (ATK/4000)
Surge looked at the dragon in fear not knowing what to do while Kaiba smirked at the look on the lieutenant's face.
"Now Max dragon destroy that tank and when my dragon attacks a monster in defense mode it does piercing damage!" As Blue-eyes max attack the tank.
Surge LP: 2300
"This can't be happening. I am one of the highest ranking officers in duel academy. I can't lose." Surge said in panic.
"Stop your whining. Now First of the dragons finish him!" Kaiba said as his dragon attacked.
Surge LP: 0000
As the monsters disappeared Kaiba just looked at his opponent as Surge returned to duel academy.
"If this is the best that duel academy has then there's nothing to worry about." Kaiba said as he turned around and saw that Ash and the others were about to finish their duels.
"Go Stardust dragon assault mode!" Ash said.
"Finish it Dark Paladin!" Yugi said.
"Let's end this Phoenix dancer!" Celina said.
All 3 monsters attack the obelisk force members, reducing their life points to zero. As the monsters disappear Lulu and Celina wrap their arms around his and kiss him on the cheek.
"Alright now that's over we need to find a place to rest." Ash said as he noticed the sun setting but Kaiba was against it.
"No way we need to keep fighting." Kaiba said but Atem agreed with Ash.
"Kaiba we've been dueling all day and need to rest." Atem said but Kaiba just blew off the idea.
"Do what you want." Kaiba said as he walked away.
Everyone just watched Kaiba walk away and once he was gone Atem spoke.
"Follow me, I know a place where we can rest." Atem said as Ash and the others followed.
(Duel academy)
In a long stairway Leo Akaba was leading Aeron to a secret part of the were walking for a while until Aeron had enough.
"Alright, where are you taking me?" Aeron asked, a little mad.
"Be patient, we are almost there." Leo Akaba said.
They arrived at what looked like a bunch of stone pillars stuck together and waiting for them was an adult Female with long red hair and an adult male blue hair they both were wearing matching uniforms with the initials D, A on them as Aeron wondered who they were.
"Who are those two?" Aeron asked as the Female spoke.
"Listen, is that a voice I hear?" The Female said.
"It's speaking to me loud and clear." The Male said.
" The fiery destroyer I am Jessie!" The now name Female said.
"Thunder's emotions I am James! The now name Male said.
"In the name of…" Jessie started but Leo Akaba stopped them.
"Will stop you that!" Leo Akaba shouted, getting the two stop.
"Sorry sir." Jessie and James said.
"Now I called you all here to form a special squad." Leo Akaba said.
"A squad for what exactly?" James asked.
" To take down the shining star of Heartland." Leo Akaba said, getting Jessie and James to gasp while Aeron got a wicked smirk.
"Really? You're finally sending me to destroy the shining star!" Aeron said in excitement As Leo Akaba nodded.
"But why tell us here when you could've told us in the Throne room?" Jessie asked.
Instead of answering Leo Akaba just walked to the stone pillars and took out a small box he opened the box as 7 Strang shape keys floated out and went into the pillars started to move while out sided a storm started with lighting and strong winds was with the group 3 duel spirits appeared for a while then turned into 3 cards that went to Aeron, Jessie and James as they took them.
"Those cards are called the sacred beast, use them to destroy the shining star!" Leo Akaba said.
"Yes professor!" Aeron,Jessie and James said as Aeron then had a thought.
"Just you wait Satoshi Fudo soon I will have my revenge for all the things you took from me!" Aeron thought.
Meanwhile in a hallway of duel academy Clemont was walking down the hall because he was summoned by one of the elites of the academy, he did notice the storm, but he was more worried about the person who summoned him as he then got to a door and knocked on it.
"Hello I'm here." Clemont said as the door opened.
The door opened to reveal an adult male in a trenchcoat with a hat on and wearing a mask that covered the top part of his face.
"Follow me." The adult male said as he led Clemont inside once the door closed they made it to a room where Nightshroud is but without his mask on.
"Master Nightshroud Ra yellow Clemont is here." The adult male said.
"Thanks Titan. Now if you would please get the coffee ready." Nightshroud said.
"Of course sir." Titan said as he left the room as Nightshroud and Clemont took a seat at the table.
"What did you want to talk to me about master Nightshroud?" Clemont asked.
"First when the mask is off it's just Atticus and second I heard that you are doing research on the other dimensions." Atticus said as Titan returned with the coffee.
"Yes I am." Clemont said as Titan set two cups of coffee in front of the boys.
"Well in that case I have an offer for you." Atticus said getting Clemont curious.
"An offer?" Clemont asked.
" You see I'm about to go to the synchro dimension." Atticus said.
"Ok but what does that have to do with the offer?" Clemont asked.
"Well how would you like to…" Atticus started but didn't finish as Emerald came bursting in the room.
"Master Nightshroud, there's something important I have to…" Emerald started but noticed Clemont getting her to frown.
"What are you doing here you, Ra wannabe?" She asks in a rude tone, getting Atticus to frown.
"Emerald." Atticus said in a calm tone.
"Yes sir?" Emerald asked.
"I can overlook that you just barged in here, but I will not tolerate you being rude to my guest you understand." Atticus said.
"Yes sir." Emerald said.
"Good. Now where was I? Oh Yes, how would you like to come with me Clemont?" Atticus asked, shocking Clemont.
"Seriously?" Clemont asked.
"Seriously." Atticus said.
"But won't I just get in the way of what you need to do?" Clemont asked.
"Don't worry Titan will be watching you from the shadows while I'm doing my own thing and who knows you might find something there to help duel academy." Atticus said.
"Well in that case I accept." Clemont said.
"That's great go and pack what you need, and I'll send Titan to get you when it's time to go." Atticus said.
Clemont got up and hurried to pack his things and once he was gone Atticus turned to look at Emerald.
"Now there was something you wanted to tell me Emerald?" Atticus said as Emerald stood straight.
"Yes sir, there is a duelist from standard named Yugi Mutou looking for you." Emerald said as Atticus seemed pleased with this information.
"I see did he have spiky star-shaped hair?" Atticus asked.
"Yes, he did." Emerald said.
"Ok thank you for telling Titan if you would." Atticus said.
Titan walked up to Emerald and held his duel disk at her. Emerald was terrified at what Atticus' servant was about to do.
"But master Nightshroud, why? Emerald asked.
"Why? Because of what you did when you came in." Atticus said.
"But you said…" Emerald started but didn't finish.
"I said that I looked past the bargeding in but you still insulted my gusset." Atticus said as Titan turned the girl into a card.
"It's don sir." Titan said.
"Ok then why don't you see to the things that we may need for the synchro dimension." Atticus said.
Titan did what his master said and left the room while Atticus walked to a window and picked up his Nightshroud mask.
"Looks like I was right about are paths crossing again Yugi Mutou." Atticus said as he put on his mask.
(Synchro dimension)
At the Fudo house Yusei was in his and Akiza room asleep the reason is that he took some time off from work as he was working nonstop for the past six months. As he slept, he was dreaming about something that haunted him
(Yusei's dream)
Yusei was running in a park and was looking for his son Satoshi and was getting worried then stopped and called his son's name.
"Satoshi, where are you?" Yusei shouted.
"Daddy!" A young Satoshi said as Yusei looked straight ahead.
"There you are." Yusei said in relief.
Both father and son began to run to each other, but Yusei ran into some shot of invisible wall.
"What the?!" Yusei said as he hit the wall.
"Daddy I'm scared." Satoshi said.
"It's going to be ok son I'm here." Yusei said, trying to calm his son down but just then a bright light started to shine. Satoshi saw this and decided to walk to it.
"That must be the way out daddy." Satoshi said as he started to walk to the light.
"What no, stay away from there Satoshi!" Yusei shouted as he began to hit the wall even harder
Satoshi did not listen as keep walking to the light with Yusei still shouting and hitting the wall as hard as he a bright flash happened and Satoshi was gone and getting Yusei to get a horrified look on his face.
"Noooooo!" Yusei shouted.
(Yusei's dream end)
Yusei woke up breathing heavily. Once he calmed down he saw the time and decided to join his family for he made his way to the kitchen he saw his wife and daughter at the table Lily saw him and greeted him.
"Morning daddy." Lily said as Akiza looked at him.
"You're awake early." Akiza said.
"Morning my little flower and I couldn't sleep." Yusei said as he sat down.
"Lily hurry up and finish your breakfast or you will be late for school." Akiza said as Lily frowned.
"Aw but school is boring can't I stay home with daddy?" Lily asked as Yusei let out a small chuckle.
"Sorry sweetie but you have to go but how about when I pick you up, we go and get a jelly cake." Yusei said, getting his daughter excited.
"Jelly cake yay!" Lily said.
Lily finished her breakfast once done the whole Fudo family left to start the day. Once Yusei and Akiza drop off Lily Yusei walked his wife to her doctor office. As they walked Akiza asked her husband something.
"You had that dream again, didn't you?" Akiza asked
"Yes, I did." Yusei answered.
"It wasn't your fault." Akiza said.
"If I had just taken him to the park like I promise instead of taking him to my work then he..." Yusei said as Akiza took his hand.
"Yusei look at me!" Akiza said as Yusei looked at his wife.
"You did not know that was going to happen and the only one at fault is the one who turned on that stupide machine. We just have to keep believing that Satoshi will return to us." She said as Yusei smiled.
"Your right. If not for you and lily, I'd probably be in a bad place." Yusei said.
"Same." Akiza said as they kissed, and the screen faded away.
(Card of the day)
A Stang appeared with Chibi Celina and Chibi Lulu on it.
"Hello everyone." Chibi Lulu said.
"And welcome hold on, where is Zuzu?" Chibi Celina asked.
"We are at the part of the story where she leaves for a little while so I will be taking her place for now." Chibi Lulu said.
"Ok then." Chibi Celina said.
"Now here's today's card!" They said together.
A giant card appeared and was revealed to be Stardust dragon assault mode.
"Cool another one of stardust forms." Chibi Lulu said.
"Hope it appears in a duel soon and not just a small appearance like this time." Chibi Celina said.
"See you next time." Chibi Lulu and Chibi Celina said.
