Hey everyone, it's time for chapter 18. Hope you're ready because in this one Ash and Yuya will take on Flare with his identity finally being revealed. I do not own Pokémon or Yu-Gi-oh.
Declan was in front of everyone and looking at everyone who was able to drive off duel Acadamy. The tension was so thick that you could cut it with a knife as Ash exchanged glances at everyone. Sylvio then spoke up at Declan.
"So, Declan I did what you asked. So, am I one of the Lancers now?" Sylvio asked as Yuya was confused.
"Lancers?" Yuya asked.
"Yes, Sylvio you are as are the rest of you!" Declan said as he widened his arms.
Everyone just remained silent at what Declan just said except Shay,Zane,Yugi and Kaiba who knew about Declan's plan. Declan then continued to speak.
"Some of you are aware or just realized that there are other dimensions with having duel monster being one of the connections." Declan said.
"Wait, so there are other worlds that have duel monsters?" Gong said.
"That's what he just said, are you that slow?" Sylvio said but that got him another bonk on the head but this time from Celina.
As Sylvio laid down on the ground twitching as Declan continued explaining how the other dimensions each specializes in a summoning technique, and he was just about to explain on how he learned about it until Yuya interrupted him.
"That doesn't explain what the lancers are and what it has to do with the battle royal because I thought that it was the next step in the tournament?" Yuya shouted as Declan pushed up his glasses.
"When I learned about duel academy's plan to invade the other dimensions, I knew that I needed to find a great duelist. And the battle royal was perfect for scouting them out as well as cover for when they came." Declan said.
There was a silent thought-out group with some of them knowing what's going on with some still trying to figure it silence only lasted a second until Yuya shouted.
"So you just used us?!" Yuya shouted in anger.
"Yuya calm down." Gong said.
"Zuzu, Reed and everyone who was turned into a card!" Yuya said with his hair covering his eyes.
"Don't do anything stupid." Gong said.
"Bring them back right now!" Yuya shouted.
Yuya began to throw a punch at Declan but his fist was stopped by Ash. Yuya looked at the raven hair boy still with anger on his face.
"Why are you stopping me?" Yuya shouted as he pulled his arm away.
"Hitting Declan won't help so calm down." Ash said but Yuya just got angrier.
"Why are you defending him? Did you know oh what am I saying of course you Knew." Yuya said as Ash frowned.
"I admit that I knew about the invasion but about what Declan was doing I was just as surprised as everyone." Ash said but Yuya didn't believe him.
"And why should I believe you when you haven't been honest with us." Yuya said as Celina spoke.
"That's not fair, Yuya Ash lost his memories when you and Zuzu met him." Celina said, trying to diffuse the situation.
"Really?" Yuya asked as he looked at Ash.
"Yes, my memories were lost." Ash said.
"But what about all the stuff you told us before like your mom and other stuff you told us was not true?" Yuya said with a frown on his face.
Ash put his head down and realized that he had to tell everyone about the Pokémon world a conversation he knew he had to tell at some point but not so soon.
"Well that's both true and not." Ash said, confusing everyone.
"What do you mean?" Gong asked as Ash took a deep breath.
"Well I got in an incident back in the Xyz dimension." Ash said as Shay and Lulu gained a sad look on their faces.
"I remember that day." Shay said.
"It was the hardest thing I had to hear." Lulu said as she remembered that day.
(Flashback)
It was another hard day at the resistance camp and a line of survivors were waiting to be served food. The ones serving were Lulu, May and Dawn as Lulu was given some food to a family.
"Here you go." Lulu said as she handed the food to them.
As the family walked away more came up Lulu and her friends continued feed everyone until a boy came up with a duel disk. The boy was wearing long white jacket vest long white pants his hair was mixer of some sort of dark red with yellow on the front and finally he had a scar under his right eye.
"How's it going ladies?" The boy asked as Lulu and the girls turned to face him.
"Hey Quattro." Lulu said.
"What brings you here?" May asked in an unamused voice.
"Just coming to see if you need anything before I head out." Quattro asked.
May then left her station and picked up a box she then walked over to Quattro and handed him the box with the boy confused.
"We need more potatoes." May said as she walked back to her station.
"What no please?" Quattro said in a joking manner but May just glared at him.
"Please is for people who don't flirt with every girl they see." May said as she went back to serving more people food.
Quattro just rolled his eyes and then went to get the potatoes. As he left Dawn asked May why she was always so annoyed with Quattro.
"Hey May, why is it every time that you talk with Quattro it always ends with you being mad at him?" Dawn asked.
"I've just known him since we were kids, so I know more about him." May sighed as Lulu gained a small smile.
"Really? Sounds like to me that you love…" Lulu was about to finish but May stopped her.
"Don't you dare!" May shouted as she put her hands over Lulu's mouth.
Lulu took May's hands off her and along with Dawn started teasing about her and Quattro. It went on for a while until Shay and Yuto came up.
"Hey Lulu." Shay said.
"Shay your back." Lulu said as she noticed Satoshi wasn't with them.
"Where's Satoshi?" She asked.
Shay and Yuto exchanged looks of concern as if what they had to say was going to then took a deep breath.
"Lulu we need to talk." Shay said.
"Why?" Lulu asked.
"Just follow me." Shay said.
Lulu just nodded and followed her brother once they were far enough then asked Yuto what's going on.
"Yuto what's going on?" Dawn asked.
"Well it's Satoshi he's…" Yuto started but stopped once everyone heard Lulu scream.
May and Dawn turned and saw Lulu on her knees with hands on her face looked at Yuto who told them that there was an accident, and that Satoshi was gone which horrified them as they went to comfort Lulu.
(Flashback end)
Everyone stared in silence for a minute until Yugi spoke and asked how he was here.
"So what happened to you?" Yugi asked.
"And how did you get to standard?" Gong added.
"Well after the incident a god called Arceus saved me and brought me to his world." Ash said.
What he said shocked everyone he then went on and explained that the reason Arceus brought him to his world was because the injuries he got were serious that shocked everyone again especially Celina because she always thought nothing could hurt her boyfriend.
"But you're a reincarnation of a dragon, how were you hurt that bad?" Celina asked but realized what she said.
"Wait, what's this about Satoshi being a dragon?" Shay said not aware of his brother's past life.
"I'll explain that later for now let me finish this first." Ash said as all of them nodded.
"Ok my body was in bad shape so Arceus put my spirit in a look-alike and sent me to his world filled with creatures called Pokémon and even gave me and everyone memories so I could fit in better." He said as everyone gained a shock look as Gong spoke.
"Wait, what are Pokémon?" Gong asked as Ash took out his Pikachu card.
Ash then went on to explain what Pokémon are and how time went differently as he traveled around that world until he got to the point where he and the friends he made took on an evil enemy called team flare and the person in charge who he considered his toughest enemy, Lysander.
"Lysander was the toughest enemy who I had ever faced." Ash said as Lulu spoke.
"Why was he doing all this?" Lulu asked.
"He wanted to create a new world by destroying all humans that he deemed unworthy." Ash said as everyone got a shock look again.
"And just how was he going to do that?" Kaiba asked with a bit of skepticism
"He planned on using an ancient ultimate weapon that could wipe out everything." Ash said.
Everyone gasped at what Ash had just said he then went on to tell with the help of the friends he made he was able to stop Lysander but the leader of team flare had one final trick. He then explained how Lysander used the ultimate weapon and fired it to where they were at he then said he was able to get everyone out by sacrificing himself.
"After that Arceus brought me to a place called the in-between and explained almost everything." Ash said.
"What do you mean almost?" Declan asked.
"Well he left out a couple of things, mostly that my memories were gone." Ash said.
"So I'm guessing that's when Yuya and Zuzu found you at the park?" Gong said.
"Yeah." Ash said.
After he finished explaining, everyone just stood there trying to process the information that Ash had told them. It was quiet for a while until Yuya finally broke the silence.
"When did you get your memories back?" Yuya asked, looking at Ash.
"After the incident with Sora." Ash said.
"That long!" Yuya shouted as Ash nodded.
"So instead of coming out and telling us you decided to just keep it a secret, that's not what friends do." He said that got Shay mad.
"You're one to talk." Shay said getting Ash to look at his brother.
"What are you talking about?" Ash asked.
"Why don't you ask him where Yuto is." Shay said.
"Yuya, do you know what happened to Yuto?" Ash asked.
"Well, I don't know?" Yuya said as he looked down.
"What do you mean that you don't?!" Ash shouted as he grabbed Yuya's shirt.
"I don't know what happened after I tried to stop the duel at the park." Yuya said but Ash didn't like that answer.
"I am so sick and tired of your selfish attitude!" Ash said.
"Selfish?!" Yuya said.
"When something doesn't go your way you act like someone wrong you!" Ash said as Yuya said something about Ash he didn't like.
"Well I'm sick of your high and mighty attitude!" Yuya said as he also grabbed Ash by his shirt
"High and mighty?!" Ash shouted.
"Yeah, you act like you're always right and that you don't do anything wrong." Yuya shouted.
Ash then let go of Yuya with him doing the same they stared at each other for a while but just then pow! Yuya and Ash just punched each other knocking them both down, they then got up and started to fight, getting everyone a shock look and it was getting so bad that Lulu screamed for someone to stop them.
"Someone stop them." Lulu said.
Gong and Zane started to go to Ash and Yuya ready to break up the fight but suddenly a small strange black flying saucer came hovering over the group and opened up and created a red barrier. What just happened caused Ash and Yuya to stop at what happening.
"What is…" Declan started but stopped because all of a sudden, he was bound with some sort of red energy bind.
"Declan are you ok?" Ash asked.
"What the heck is going on?" Yuya asked.
Just then out of nowhere Flare appeared with 96 by his side. Everyone notices him with some of them curious at who the mask man was while Ash frowns at seeing the mask man again.
"You again!" Ash shouted, getting everyone to look at him.
"Ash, do you know who this is?" Yuya asked.
"I met him in the battle royal and he's the one that brought Lulu here." Ash said.
Everyone was shocked again Lulu was the most shocked because her memories up to the fusion parasite were gone.
"Who are you? Are you the one working with my father?" Declan shouted as Flare chuckled evilly.
"My name is Flare and yes I do work with your father." Flare said as Ash narrowed his eyes.
"I don't care what your name is, just let our friends go now!" Ash said.
"Well then you and Sakaki just have to hand over your pendulums then." Flare said as he held his hand out.
"What?" Yuya asked shock at Flare's request.
"Why do you want our pendulums so badly?" Ash asked as Flare chuckled.
"You and Sakaki have no idea what you have so I'll give you both two options one you and Sakaki hand over the pendulums two you both take me on in a 2 vs 1 duel." Flare said.
Ash and Yuya looked at each other then nodded as if they made their decisions as Ash switched from his photon deck back to his regular deck.
"We choose option two!" Ash said.
"And we will beat you!" Yuya said as they both activated his duel disk.
"Very well then so let me explain some rules. First I'll have 8000 life points while you both have 4000 and you both will share the field and graveyard also the last one can attack understand." Flare said as his duel disk activated as his bladed took the form of a flame.
"Got it." Ash and Yuya said.
"Good now action field activate Delta Lumiose City!" Flare said, shocking Declan as the action field appeared with action cards scattering.
"Duel!" They shouted.
Ash LP: 4000

"I start by playing Litleo:The fire cub!" Flare said as a monster that looked like a Litleo appeared getting Ash's eyes widened in shock that Flare had a card that was based off a Pokémon.
(Litleo: The Fire Cub: Level 3: Attribute Fire: Type breast: ATK/1200: DEF/1000: Effect: When this card is on the field you can use this card and one Fire attribute monster from the deck to fusion summon a monster with Pyroar in its name.)
"How do you have that?!" Ash shouted as Yuya and Declan looked at him.
"What's wrong?" Declan asked.
"That card is based on a Pokémon." Ash said, shocking everyone.
"Seriously, why does he have it?" Yuya asked.
"I don't know?" Ash said as he looked at Flare who chuckled.
"I did say that you and I had a bit of history, Ketchum." Flare said as he thrust his hand in the air.
"Now I use my Litleo's effect! When he's on the field I can use him and a fire attribute monster from my deck in order to Fusion summon!" The mask man said as a card popped out of his deck.
"I fuse my Litleo and my Hinotama soul! A growing Lion cub will inherit the soul of the flame I fusion summon Pyroar: The flame Lion!" As Flare's extra deck box opened and took out a card and appeared was a monster that looked like Pyroar.
"No way again!" Ash said.
(Pyroar: The flame Lion: Level 8: Attribute fire: Type Beast: ATK/3000: DEF/2500: Fusion/Effect: requirements Litleo: the fire cub + one fire attribute monster. When this card attacks a defense position monster it can deal piercing this card is destroyed return the cards used to summon this to the deck and summon a Pyroar: The Flame Lioness.)
"I set 3 cards face down and end my turn." Flare said. (Hand:1)
"My turn!" Ash said. (Hand:5)
"To start I'll play my Shining star crab kid!" As Ash took a card from his hand and placed it on his duel blade.
Appearing was a 12-year-old boy wearing red crab like armor and holding a claw shaped water blaster with a crab shaped helmet with crab legs sticking out.
(Shining Star Crab Kid: Level 3: Attribute light: Type Aqua: ATK/900: DEF/600: Effect: When a shining star monster is special summon, choose one monster on your opponent's field and have it lose 600 attack points.)
"Next I play starlight fusion with this I can fusion summon with cards from my deck or hand!" As two cards popped out.
"I'll fuse shining star dusk wyvern with my shining star trap falcon to bring out a hero that will send you away with his kick I fusion summon Shining star Ultra hero!" As his monster appeared.
Shining Star Ultra Hero LV6: (ATK/2000)
Everyone inside the barrier looked at what Ash just did with Sylvio was the first to speak. Because he couldn't figure out why he summoned such a weak monster.
"Why would Ketchum summon such a weak monster when I would have…" Sylvio started but was stopped as Zane bonked him on the head.
"Was that necessary?" Yugi asked.
"He's lucky that I didn't push him into the barrier." Zane said as Ash continued his turn.
"Now my crab kids effect activates when a shining star monster was special summon one of your monsters loses 600 attack points!" Ash said as Crab kid fired water at Flare's monster.
Pyroar: The Flame Lion Lv8: (ATK/3000=2400)
"Is that it?" Flare said mockingly.
"Not even! Now crab kid and Ultra hero time to combine your power go contact Fusion!" Ash said as Ultra hero and crab kid jumped up in the air.
Crab kid turned into what look like a giant armor then split apart and started to attach itself onto ultra gauntlets attach to his arms with giant leg boots then giant chest plate that look like a crab's face then two claw shape cannons on his back then finally a crab shaped helmet.
"Now appear one of the heroes of the sea, Shining star ultra crab hero!" Ash shouted as his monster appeared.
( Shining Star Ultra Crab Hero Lv7: Attribute light:Type warrior/Fusion: ATK/2100: DEF/2800: Effect: Return Shining star crab kind and Shining star ultra hero to the deck. When a monster is special summon to your field, choose one monster on the opponent's field and have it lose 100 attack points equal to the summon monster level then have this card gain the same amount.)
"Next I play Greedy Sacrifice. I banish my dusk wyvern so I can draw 3 cards." Ash said as he drew his cards.
"Now when dusk wyvern is banished I can special summon him!" As dusk wyvern appeared.
Shining Star Dusk Wyvern Lv4: (ATK/1800)
"Now your monster loses 100 attack points equal to my wyverns level thanks to my hero and he gains the same amount!" As Ultra Crab Hero fired its water cannons.
Pyroar: The Flame Lion Lv8: (ATK/2400=2000)

"I'll set a card and end my turn. Your move Yuya." Ash said. (Hand:4)
"Ok here I go." Yuya said as he took two cards from his hand.
"I'll set the pendulum scale with scale 8 timegazer magician and scale 4 performapal trump witch." As Yuya placed the cards on his duel blade with the word Pendulum in rainbow colors appearing.
"I can now summon monsters 5 thru 7 at the same time. Swing far pendulum carve the arc of victory. My monsters are ready to swing into action!" He shouted as a portal opened and 2 lights came out.
"Turn up the heat Odd-eyes Pendulum! Show them the wonder of the star's stargazer magician!" As his monsters appeared.

Faler just stared at Yuya's pendulum monsters in amazement because after careful research he was sure that Yuya had the pendulum of creation. The silence broke as Ash spoke.
"Since Yuya's odd-eyes and magician were special summon, your pyroar loses more attack points thanks to my monster's effect, so that's 1200 points because of their combined levels." Ash said
Pyroar: The Flame Lion Lv8: (ATK/2000=800)
"And now my hero gains the same amount." Ash said as Ash's hero got stronger.
Shining Star Ultra Crab Hero Lv7: (ATK/2500=3700)
"I now use my trump witch pendulum effect! I can now fusion summon using monsters on my field." Yuya said as Odd-eyes and stargazer floated above him.
"Wielder of mysterious powers combine with a dragon with great strength! I fusion summon Rune-Eyes Pendulum dragon!" As Yuya's dragon appeared.

"Now thanks again to Ash's monsters effect your Pyroar loses the rest of its attack points." As Flare's Pyroar lost the rest of its attack.
Pyroar: The Flame Lion Lv8: (ATK/800=000)
Shining Star Ultra Hero Lv7: (ATK/3700=4500)
Back with everyone they were impressed at how Yuya used Ash's Heros effect and was able to get one of his best Fusion monsters out.
"Way to go Yuya!" Gong shouted.
"He was able to weaken Flare's monster even more." Lulu said as Kaiba spoke.
"Aren't you getting a little ahead of yourselves?" Kaiba said as everyone looked at him.
"Don't you say anything that's not mean?" Celina asked as Kaiba looked at her.
"Just look, does that mask weirdo look worried?" Kaiba said.
Celina looked and saw that Kaiba was right. Flare looked calm as if what Yuya did didn't matter. They continued to watch as Yuya got on Rune-Eyes ordered his dragon to attack.
"Now Rune-Eyes attack!" Yuya said as Ash gave his support.
"I'll back you up Yuya with the trap Baton pass! With this I tribute my dusk wyvern and give its attack points to Yuya Rune-Eyes!" Ash said as his wyvern vanished and Rune-Eyes got stronger.
Rune-Eyes Pendulum dragon Lv8: (ATK/3000=4800)
As Yuya's dragon attacks but instead of being worried Flare activates one of his set cards.
"You just activated my trap Lions pride!" Flare said as a card revealed a pitcher of Pyroar roaring as an enemy.
(Lions Pride: Type normal trap: Effect: When an opponent's monster attacks a monster with Pyroar in its name have your monster gain half of the attacking monster's attack points.)
" When you attack a monster with Pyroar in its name. I can then have it gain half of your attacking monsters attack points!" He shouted but Yuya countered.
"Then I'll just put a stop to that with my Timegazer magician pendulum effect.I can put a stop to your trap!" Yuya said as his magician stopped the trap but Flare was ready for that.
"You fool you didn't think I didn't see that coming!" Flare said as he revealed another Lions pride getting Yuya's eyes to widen.
Pyroar: The Flame Lion Lv8: (ATK/0000=2400)
Rune-eyes attack hit and destroyed Pyroar but Flare still was not worried as he activated his monster's other effect.
Flare LP: 5600
"Now my Pyroar's other effect when destroyed I can return the monsters used to fusion summon him and bring out Pyroar: The Flame lioness in defense mode!" Flare said as he returned Litleo and Hinotama soul to the deck as a card from his extra deck came out.
"Now roar Pyroar: the flame Lioness!" He said as a female Pyroar appeared.
(Pyroar: The Flame Lioness LV6: Type beast/ Fusion: Attribute fire: ATK/2100: DEF3000: Effect: Requirements Litleo: The fire cub + One Fire attribute monster. When this card is destroyed all fire type monster cannot be destroyed for the rest of the turn. If a Litleo: The fire cub is in the graveyard have this card gain 1000 defense points.)
"Doesn't matter since Rune- eyes was summoned using a level5 spellcaster it can make up to 3 attacks this turn. So this lion is going as well!" Yuya said.
Rune-eyes attacked Flare's monster again and destroyed it creating a dust cloud as the dust cloud settled Flare revealed a trap card.
"I play my trap the flame of souls!" Flare sai as the trap card revealed a pitcher of souls coming out of a fire.
(Flame of Souls: Type normal trap: Effect: When a fire attribute is destroyed special summon fire attribute monster that levels combine up to the destroyed monster.)
"When a fire type monster is destroyed I can special summon fire type monsters that equal to the destroyed monster level." As 3 cards popped out of his deck.
"And the monsters I choose are 3 Hinotama souls in defense mode!" As 3 fireballs appeared.
Hinotama soul Lv2 x3: (DEF/500)
"Here comes the final attack!" Yuya said as his dragon attacked again but instead of destroying one of Hinotama's souls they remained as Yuya's eyes widened before he could ask Flare was already explaining.
"When Pyroar: The flame Lioness is destroyed all fire attributed monsters I controle can't be destroyed this turn." Flare said.
"I end my turn." Yuya said. (Hand:1)
Rune-Eyes Pendulum dragon Lv8: (ATK/4800= 3000)
"My turn I draw." Flare said. (Hand:2)
Flare looked at his hand then at Ash and Yuya he then let out a small chuckle. Ash heard it and got a frown and asked what he found so funny.
"And just what is so funny?" Ash asked.
"Before I revealed myself, I listen to you and Sakaki's argument and I am surprised that you are working together so well." Flare said as Yuya spoke.
"Oh I'm still mad at Ash but I'm putting that aside so we can save everyone." Yuya said as Flare smirked under his mask.
"That's very considerate of you after what happened to Ketchum's friend." Flare said get Ash's eyes to widen.
"What do you mean? Do you know what happened to Yuto?" Ash shouted.
"All will be revealed in time. Now I play emergency provision with this I gain 1000 life points for every spell or trap card on the field that I send to the graveyard." Flare said.
Flare LP: 6600
"Now I build the overlay network with my three level 2 Hinotama souls!" He shouted as his monsters turned into energy then went into a portal, shocking everyone.
"I thought he could only fusion summon?!" Yuya shouted in shock.
"Apparently not." Ash said as Astral finally spoke after not speaking.
"Seeing that 96 works for him and the fact that he is responsible for the negative numbers it's not surprising that he can." Astral said.
"You are naive if you thought I can only fusion summon. Now my most loyal ally from the deep darkness will come and wipe out my enemies. I xyz summon Rank2 Number96: Dark Mist!" Flare said as 96 true from appeared.
Number 96: Dark Mist R2 Unite3: (ATK/100)
Everyone was shocked that Flare just xyz summoned with Lulu hiding behind Shay because of being scared of the number. As Ash and Yuya stared at the monster while Flare ordered 96 to attack.
"Now Dark Mist at his Rune-eyes Pendulum dragon!" Flare said, shocking Yuya.
"Why would you do that my Rune-eyes has more attack points?" Yuya asked.
"His monsters must have some sort of effect that can overcome it." Ash said as Flare confirmed his suspicions.
"You're so right Ketchum. By using an overlay unit my opponent's monsters attack points in half and Dark mist also gains the same amount." Flare said as a unit on Dark mist disappeared then shot out a black mist from its mouth weakening Rune-eyes.
Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon Lv8: (ATK/3000=1500)
Number 96: Dark Mist R2 Unit2: (ATK/100=1600)
Yuya flew on Rune-eyes dodging Dark mist sharp dark sludge and was trying to find an action card. As he was dodging Yuya spotted an action card but before he could even grab it Dark Mist's attack hit creating an explosion cashing Yuya to fall Ash saw this and ordered his monster to save.
Yuya LP: 3900
"Crab hero go and save Yuya!" Ash shouted.
Ultra Crab hero did what Ash asked and fired water from his feet to jet off the ground. As Yuya was falling Crab hero was able to save him ones on the ground Yuya thanked him while the Action card from before floated to Flare as a result of the explosion as Flare caught it.
"I play the action spell wonder chance with this my monster can attack again." Flare said as Dark Mist got ready for another attack.
"And like before, by removing an overlay unit I can cut half your monster's attack and add it to my Dark mist!" As another unit disappeared on his monster and unleashed its attack.
Shining Star Ultra Crab Hero Lv7: ATK/4500=2250)
Number 96: Dark Mist R2 Unit1: (ATK/1600=3850)
The attack hit Ultra Crab Hero and caused an explosion sending Ash flying and landing hard on the ground causing everyone to gasp in horror.

"Ash, are you ok?" Yuya asked as Ash was struggling to get up'
"I think so." Ash said as he managed to get up.
Zane noticed his friend having trouble getting up and thinking something was wrong with Ash. He then looked up at the device and had a theory.
"Hey Celina, can you ask Astral look at the top of the device and tell you if he sees dark red crystal." Zane asked.
"Ok sure. Hey Astral!" Celina shouted as The alien came to her.
"What is it?" Astral asked.
Celina told Astral what Zane wanted him to do as he nodded and examined the device. After carefully going over the device and seeing the dark red crystal that Zane described he went to Celina and told her that he found what Zane asked told Zane who was tightening his fist in anger.
"How did Flare get his hands on dark crimson? Zane said, getting everyone to look at him.
"Dark what?" Lulu asked.
"Dark crimson is a special and hard to find mineral that can negate all of Satoshi's powers." Zane said.
"Are you saying that Satoshi is in danger?!" Shay shouted.
"Yes and also." Zane said.
"Also what?" Shay asked.
"I always had a feeling that dark crimson played a part in Satoshi's accident." Zane said, getting Lulu and Shay's eyes to widen in shock as Yugi spoke.
"Does this have anything to do with Ash being a reincarnation of a dragon?" Yugi asked.
"Yes and if you all want more answers you will have to wait. Hey Astral, if you can hear me let Satoshi know about the dark crimson." Zane said as Astral did what he asked.
Back with Ash and Yuya Flare had just ended his turn with Ash still having trouble standing up.
"My turn I draw." Ash said feeling wobbly as Astral came. (Hand:5)
"Ash! Zane had Celina ask me to check the device and said that it had a dark crimson on it." Astral said, shocking Ash.
"What!" Ash shouted as he Looked at Flare.
"How did you get it?!" He shouted at the masked man.
"All I can say is that it wasn't easy, especially when I had to find more ." Flare said.
"I'll get the answers out soon or Late. I play equal trade. I send Dragonite so I can special summon monsters that combine levels equal to the discarded monster." Ash said as two cards popped out of his deck.
"So come on out, Hyper synchron and Shining star sorcerer!" As the monsters appeared.
Hyper synchron Lv4: (ATK/1600)
Shining Star Sorcerer Lv4: (ATK/1600)
"Now my Level4 Hyper synchron gives my Level4 Sorcerer a tune up! Ash said as Hyper synchron turned into 4 green rings circled around Sorcerer turning it transparent with 44 under it.
"The stars will align to call forth a dragon with the strength of the cosmos I synchro summon!The mighty Lv8 Stardust dragon in defence mode." As stardust appeared.
Stardust Dragon Lv8: (DEF/2000)
"When Hyper synchron is used to synchro summon a dragon synchro monster it gains 800 attack points and can't be destroyed in battle and thanks to my Shining star sorcerer stardust can't be destroyed by card effects." Ash said as Flare was a little impressed.
Stardust Dragon Lv8: (ATK/2500=3300)
"So this is Stardust dragon.I must say that I'm honored." Flare said.
"Don't be. I play the equip spell starlight aura! Ash said as a card with a pitcher of stardust dragon being covered in a blue aura.
(Starlight Aura: Type Equip spell: Effect: The equipped monster gains 700 attack points and at the start of your turn gains 200 life points equal to the equipped monster level.)
"Thanks to this my Dragon gains 700 attack points and at the start of my turn I gain 200 life points equal to my monster's level. As Stardust dragon got stronger.
Stardust Dragon Lv8: (ATK/3300=4000)
"Next I will play stardust shower!" As a card with a pitcher of a stardust dragon flying in a star night sky. (A/N: Stardust dragon is still in defenses mode.)
(Stardust Shower: Type normal spell: Effect: When you have stardust dragon on your field deal damage to your opponent equal to half of stardust dragon current attack points.)
"Thanks to this spell you take damage equal to half of stardust dragon's current attack points! Ash said as the sky above was filled with stars.
"Impressive." 96 said.
"My dragon's current attack is 4000 so 2000 points of damage are coming your way!" He shouted as stars started to fall and head straight towards Flare hitting the ground and creating a dust cloud.
Flare LP: 4600
The dust cloud settled revealing Flare but the hood of his outfit was destroyed showing orange hair that looked like flames then a crack appeared on his mask. The crack then got bigger until the mask just shattered revealing Flares true face he had sky blue eyes and an orange beard. Ash's eyes widened in shock seeing the mask man's true face Flare saw this and smirked.
"It can't be?!" Ash said as Flare spoke.
"What's wrong ketchum you act like you saw a ghost?" Flare said in a calm tone.
"Ash what's wrong?" Yuya asked.
"Are you alright?" Astral asked.
"I-I-I…" Ash said, still trying to believe what he was seeing as Flare spoke again.
"Please say my name. I can't remember the last time someone said it." Flare said.
"L-L-L-Lysander." Ash said.
"That sounds so good to hear. Now the real fun to your doom can begin." Lysander said.
The scene shows Ash and Yuya in back with Lysander facing them with a big shadow dragon behind him with the word to be continued appearing.

A stage appeared with Chibi Lulu and Chibi Celina on it dressed in new year kimonos.
"Greetings everyone." Chibi Lulu said.
"And welcome to another." Chibi Celina said.
"Card of the day!" They said together.
"I'm loving my kimono." Chibi Celina said in her purple kimono.
"You do look lovely in it." Chibi Lulu said in her black kimono.
"Thanks you as well. Now here's today's card." Chibi Celina said.
A giant card appeared and was revealed to be Shining Star Ultra Crab Hero.
"Ash's new hero card is awesome but how was he able to summon it without a fusion card?" Chibi Lulu asked.
"There are some fusion monsters that can be summoned without a fusion card and it's called contact fusion." Chibi Celina said.
"Thanks for telling me." Chibi Lulu said.
"See you next time." They said Together.
