Hey guys, TheDoctor1998 here with another chapter! Last time, Cinder and the gang had a good day at the beach, and helped an old man fulfil his lifelong dream while sticking it to a nasty old lady.
Now, on with the show!

"Strong sun." Cinder sighed, feeling the sunlight.
"Blue skies and white clouds." Brock continued, looking directly up.
"And sea as far as you can see." Misty finished, sighing at seeing the ferry float further into the ocean.
After the rather eventful beach day from the day before, the gang had reached Hutber Port, Porta Vista's primary seaport, and the only point of public transport that allowed people on and off the island. As such, it was packed with tourists heading to and from both the more tourist friendly districts of Porta Vista, such as the Acapulco District, or the now destroyed Island of Giant Pokémon.
Unfortunately for the gang, they'd just missed the ferry, and were now forced to wait for three hours until the next one.
"Oh, look, it's a Horsea! How cute!" Misty gushed, drawing the attention of her companions.
Indeed, as Misty said, there was an aquatic Pokémon resembling a blue seahorse swimming into the harbor, triggering Cinder's Pokédex as he did so.
"Horsea, the Dragon Pokémon. A Water Type.
Abilities: Swift Swim and Sniper
Hidden Ability: Damp
Entry: This Pokémon hatches from eggs in groups of thousands, and is raised by its male parent rather than the female. It sprays water or dense ink at those that threaten it."
"It looks like he's injured." Brock observed, noticing the various bleeding scratches and his black eye.
"And there's no Pokémon Center around here." Misty sadly said before turning to Cinder, remembering how she caught her Pidgeotto. "Cinder, can you use one of your Heal Balls on him?"
Before Cinder could answer, the Horsea sprayed ink into the water, frantically trying to tell the humans something.
"What did he just draw?" Cinder asked.
"Some kind of jellyfish." Brock said, vaguely recognizing the image, though he couldn't put his finger on it.
"We have to take care of his wounds first." Misty said with determination, quickly grabbing one of her Pokéballs.
Before anything could happen, though, a nearby ship exploded, a plumage of smoke quickly rising as people started jumping ship.
"Oh no, there's people on that thing!" Brock called, quickly standing up.
"We gotta do something!" Cinder said, pulling out a few of her Luxury Balls. "Butterfree, Beedrill, Pidgeotto, Squirtle, I need you my friends!" Once her Pokémon materialized, their trainer quickly yelled a few commands. "Guys, quickly, help them out!"
"Staryu, Starmie, Goldeen, follow them!" Misty called her Water Types, quickly guiding them to do the same. All the Water Types quickly swam towards the sailors, with the flying Pokémon doing the same from the skies.
"Brock, help me look for a boat to help them. Cinder, you're with me." Misty told her friends, both nodding and following her lead.
In the water, the men were quickly saved by the various Pokémon. The Water Types swam up from underneath them, making sure their heads remained above water as the flyers picked others up, Pidgeotto with her talons and the Bug Types with their silk.
Thankfully, the gang had indeed found a boat they could use, which they quickly commandeered to save the sailors. They were sure its owner wouldn't mind its use for this situation, and if so, screw them.
"This way!" Misty yelled to the Pokémon as Brock steered the ship. "Carry them to the boat!"
The Pokémon quickly did as told, moving as fast as they dared, and dragged the sailors on the boat. Cinder and Misty quickly helped the Water Types to bring them on board as Beedrill and the Flying Types quickly dropped them on the ship, clearly exhausted.
Meanwhile, the Horsea from before was hiding behind the wooden pillar of the pier, scared and knowing that this was only the beginning.
"It's terrible, terrible!" One of the sailors moaned.
"Hey, what happened out there?" Brock asked him, being as gentle as he could.
"The boss." The sailor groaned. "I've gotta tell the boss what happened."
The gang quickly exchanged some worried glances, though in Cinder's case it was more that she read their body language through her Aura. They wordlessly decided to follow the sailor's directions towards their boss, as they at least needed to be informed.
As they went back to the harbor, Misty quickly scooped Horsea out of the water and used her Pokéball on him, intending to give him some medical aid before heading out with her friends again.
Unbeknownst to them, however, something below them was watching them, seething.

When the gang took the sailors back to their boss, they were shocked to see a woman identical to Brutella. Though, where Brutella dressed up like a 6 year old girl, this lady dressed like a snob that personally owned the global economy. "You're the boss?!" Cinder exclaimed, recognizing the Aura that was identical to Brutella's.
"I'm the boss!" The woman grinned, introducing herself as she was surrounded by male maids wearing nothing but speedos. "I understand that you helped to save my men on my ship, for which I've gotta thank you."
"Erm, you're welcome Brutella." Cinder awkwardly said, not exactly knowing how to deal with this situation.
"I'm not Brutella, I'm Nastina!" The woman growled, clearly angry. "I'm obviously the prettiest one between me and my cousin, can't you tell?!"
"Sorry, blind Aura user here, and your Auras look identical!" Cinder frantically said, feeling in the back of her head that this is not the situation where she should insult the lady. Though in fairness, unlike her cousin, Nastina hadn't actually done anything yet that warrants some insults. "Sooo, can we go now?"
"You don't think you're gonna get away that fast, do ya?!" The woman growled before smirking again. "Not before you see my new resort."
"Resort?" Cinder asked.
Nastina glanced over at a table with a scale model of what looked like a mix between a theme park and a luxury hotel on it. "It's not finished, but it'll be spectacular. The world's biggest luxury resort."
Brock and Misty glanced out of the window, seeing a building being constructed in the middle of the ocean. The same building they saw when they'd just missed the ferry.
"Is that it? Out on the ocean?" Misty asked.
"Yes, that's it." Nastina nodded. "That's Nastina's Paradise, a super luxury hotel. The hotel to end all hotels!" She started ranting, imagining herself relaxing in an underwater penthouse looking over the ocean floor. "It'll have hundreds of luxurious suites, surrounded by the world's most beautiful coral reef." Then, she started getting annoyed again. "But only if those Tentacool stop interfering with its construction!"
"The Tentacool?" Misty asked, starting to get suspicious.
"I get it, the Tentacool attacked those sailors." Brock said, coming to a realization.
"Because of those Tentacool, all the tourists have been staying away from here." Nastina grunted. "I don't know why such despicable creatures even exist."
Cinder's grip on her gain tightened at those words, suddenly remembering the taunts she'd heard as a child. Quickly dismissing those thoughts, she came to her own realization. "Just like your cousin indeed." She muttered, too quiet for anyone else to hear.
"Did you say despicable?!" Misty exclaimed, clearly insulted on their behalf.
"They're disgusting, you can't even eat them!" Nastina started ranting. "And worse, they're hurting my profits!" She quickly tapped her cane, calming herself. "I was hoping that the three of you might be able to help me take care of my little problem. Do you have the skill to handle a Tentacool extermination project?"
The trio was in shock at the woman's blatant disregard for life, being taken off guard completely.
"Of course, I'll pay you well." The woman smirked, signalling for her maids to bring in what looked and smelled like a luxury buffet. "If you succeed, you'll get world-class all-you-can-eat luxury dinners for an entire year, a million dollars deposited to your bank accounts, and vouchers for free stays in the hotel!" The woman offered. "Of course, you'll have to exterminate the Tentacool first before I'll pay you the reward. Every last one of them."
Cinder was about to yell at the hag, but Misty managed to beat her to the punch. "That's disgusting!" The redhead yelled, making Nastina jump back in surprise.
"You're a fucking monster." Cinder growled, hogging a loogie near Nastina's feet before walking out of the building, her friends quickly following her.
Nastina, for her part, simply growled and glared at the trio. "There's some trainers who can't be bought."
XXXXXXXX
"Doesn't that old woman make you sick?!" Misty ranted as she and her friends walked next to the pier.
"Urg, I hope Team Rocket blows her place of business up too." Cinder angrily muttered, remembering the events from the other day with Brutella.
"To think she wants to kill all those Tentacool!" Misty yelled. "Those poor cuties."
"Well, I guess cuteness is in the eye of the beholder." Brock said, sweatdropping. He wasn't judging, but Tentacool weren't exactly his idea of cute Pokémon.
"If Tentacool are attacking people, then there must be a good reason for it." Misty pondered. "They're usually very calm creatures, and never attack without being provoked."
"When you talk about Water Types, it's like you get an entirely different personality." Cinder joked.
"Water Types are just so beautiful, and have such depth." Misty gushed, thinking of the Tentacool. "Like that Horsea, he's a talented artist."
Eventually, the trio reached the fountain where they temporarily deposited Horsea, with Clefairy and Oddish keeping the Water Type company as he healed.
"Horsea!" Misty called, rushing towards the seahorse Pokémon. "How are you feeling? Are you okay?"
"The super potion seems to have done its job." Brock said, smiling as he saw the now much healthier Horsea.
"Thank goodness." Misty smiled, hugging the Horsea. However, Horsea quickly gave a worried sound, wanting to say something. "Huh, what is it?" Misty asked, noting the shift in his tone.
"Say, Misty, didn't that picture from before look like a Tentacool?" Brock asked.
"Yeah, you did say it looked like a jellyfish." Cinder nodded. "Maybe Horsea was trying to tell us about the Tentacool, and why that ship sunk."
"Is that right, Horsea?" Misty asked the Water Type. And to her dismay, she received a nod.
Then, suddenly, a sound came from the speaker system before a familiar voice rang through them. "Citizens of Porta Vista, listen up!"
"Nastina." Cinder growled, her grip on her cane tightening again.
"As of this moment, I am recruiting volunteers to exterminate the Tentacool that are terrorizing our town." The hag continued. "I will award a million dollars to whoever manages to exterminate the most Tentacool when they're all gone. Isn't Nastina generous?" The woman chuckled to herself.
"She'll do anything to destroy them." Brock gravely said.
"Anyone who wants the money, and wants to help the development of our town, come to the yacht harbor immediately." The woman finished, cutting off her transmission.
"She expects to get people to kill the Tentacool for money?" Misty scoffed. "How ridiculous."
Suddenly, a large group of townspeople started rushing towards them, each wanting that reward for themselves. Horsea quickly jumped out of Misty's arms and into the water, with the gang recalling their Pokémon and quickly stepping to the side to avoid being trampled.
"Never underestimate the power of people's greed, Misty." Cinder sneered, what little hope she'd managed to build up for her species over the past few months quickly dwindling again.
A tank rolled up to the crowd, Nastina riding it and dressed for war. "All right, which one of you is going to win the million dollar reward?" She asked through a megaphone. Then, an arrow with a rose on top of it embedded itself into the turret of the tank, drawing Nastina's attention to a boat from which it came. "Oh, who's that?" She asked, intrigued.
"Prepare for trouble." A female voice all too familiar to the gang said.
"Make it double." The first voice's male counterpart continued.
"To protect the world from devastation."
"To unite all people within our nation."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love."
"To extend our reach to the stars above."
"Jessie."
"James."
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth, that's right!" The last member of the trio finished, jumping in front of the other two.
"Hey, they got a lotta spunk!" Nastina grinned.
"That's a new definition of "spunk" all right." Cinder muttered.
"Wait, isn't that-" Jessie started.
"Brutella?" James finished, only to duck with the rest of his team as Nastina fired her turret above their boat.
"I'm not Brutella, I'm Nastina!" The woman growled. "Get it through your thick skulls already!"
"Sorry, you're both so pretty it's hard to tell the difference, please don't shoot!" Jessie pleaded, buttering up to Nastina's ego. "We are terribly sorry for getting the two of you mixed up."
"Yes, very sorry." James agreed. "Please, leave your little Tentacool extermination project to Team Rocket."
"This crew might just pull it off." Nastina chuckled. Unlike most people of Porta Vista, where Team Rocket's reputation wasn't as widely known, Nastina knew exactly what the criminal organization was capable of. This might just be the ticket she needed to get into the good graces of their mysterious Boss.
"We sure will, Nastina!" Jessie agreed.
"Sounds good!" Nastina nodded. "If you exterminate the Tentacool completely, the million dollars are yours. Isn't Nastina generous?"
"Yes, we heard you the first time." Jessie said, rolling her eyes.
"Just get the dough ready for us." Meowth said, rolling the engine and steering the boat to the Tentacool problem.
"They're disrespecting the ocean." Misty muttered, feeling the pain that any proper Water Type specialist would feel.
Cinder quickly threw up three of her Luxury Balls. "Butterfree, Beedrill, Pidgeotto, I need you my friends." The three flying Pokémon had thankfully recovered from before, and were now ready to fight again. "Guys, follow Team Rocket, but keep a distance. If they start attacking the Tentacool, do what you can to protect the Pokémon."
The three Pokémon nodded, and quickly flew towards their targets.
Back with Team Rocket, the trio was laughing and quickly sailing towards the Tentacool, unaware of the Pokémon following them.
"We're gonna make a million~" Meowth sang.
"Just for getting rid of some jellyfish." Jessie smirked.
"And it's going to be so easy with our-" James started.
"Super secret stun sauce!" The trio finished as one.
"We'll just pour it all over the Tentacool." Jessie started.
"Then we'll catch them and send some of them over to the Boss." Meowth smirked.
"And then we'll sell the rest on the black market for even more money~" James sang.
"There's nothing like making money." Jessie smirked, thinking of riches. Unfortunately, her daydream got interrupted by their boat suddenly going backwards.
"Why are we going back?!" Meowth asked.
"It's the Tentacool!" James exclaimed, suddenly seeing that their boat was surrounded by tons of the jellyfish-like Pokémon, each with a pair of tentacles and some red crystals. They swarmed around Team Rocket's boat as they unintentionally triggered Cinder's Pokédex on the shore.
"Tentacool, the Jellyfish Pokémon. A Water/Poison Type.
Abilities: Clear Body and Liquid Ooze
Hidden Ability: Rain Dish
Entry: This Pokémon's body is made of 99% water, with the remaining 1% containing poison producing cells. It can take limited control of other Pokémon by making physical contact with its tentacles."
"That's a lot of Tentacool." Cinder muttered, seeing the giant blob of various Auras surrounding Team Rocket as she heard the people around her speak in fear.
"Get the stun sauce!" Meowth yelled. "Get the stun sauce!"
"We don't have enough of it!" Jessie said, immediately knowing that there was no way a single barrel would be enough for all these Tentacool.
"There must be thousands of them!" James yelled in shock.
One Tentacool, larger than the others, quickly shot a beam of red energy through the smaller gem on his forehead, which caused Team Rocket's boat to explode and fling them into the water.
Unfortunately, Team Rocket's barrel of stun sauce landed right on the bigger Tentacool. And unlike what Team Rocket thought it would do, it caused the Tentacool to glow and briefly turn into pure energy, growing and changing shape as he did so. Once the glow subsided, there was a giant Pokémon that looked like a meaner version of Tentacool with more tentacle, shocking everyone that saw him as he triggered Cinder's Pokédex again.
"Tentacruel, the Jellyfish Pokémon and the evolved form of Tentacool. A Water/Poison Type.
Abilities: Clear Body and Liquid Ooze
Hidden Ability: Rain Dish
Gender Ratio: 50/50
Entry: This Pokémon has 80 poisonous tentacles which can extend or retract at will, which it uses in a net-like shape to hunt and ensnare prey. With enough effort, it can use its tentacles to walk on land.
Evolves from: Tentacool when strong enough"
Tentacruel quickly grabbed Team Rocket out of the sky, preventing them from blasting off again.
"We super-sized it!" Jessie yelled in shock.
"How did this even happen?!" James yelled in fear. "Those common candies from Reborn in the sauce should've weakened it, not made it stronger!"
Meowth quickly spotted something in the water. Instead of the expected orange wrappers of the candies that suppressed the strength of a Pokémon, there were the blue wrappers of the candies that increased the strength of a Pokémon. "You bozos! You used rare candies instead of common candies! Those things make Pokémon stronger, not weaker!"
Tentacruel quickly started wrapping his tentacles around Nastina's hotel, squeezing and crushing the infrastructure.
"This is impossible!" Brock yelled, seeing the devastation Tentacruel was causing. "Even the biggest Tentacruel in the world is barely over two meters big!"
Cinder silently set her Pokédex to record. "If Professor Oak was here, he'd be grinning at the sight of this thing."
"Oh no, Tentacruel is in trouble!" Misty exclaimed, pointing at Nastina's tank.
The turret was aimed at Tentacruel and flanked by Nastina's maids, all of whom were aiming bazookas at the giant. "How dare that thing crush my hotel?!" The woman screeched. "Commence fire!"
The shells impacted their target and exploded, but Tentacruel's tough yet malleable exterior quickly allowed him to absorb the impact. The only thing Nastina managed to do was catch his attention while pissing him off even more.
"Leave my hotel alone!" Nastina screamed in defiance.
However, she forgot about something else. Tentacruel wasn't alone, and the rest of his school quickly crawled out of the water and all over Nastina and her servants, the latter of whom were quickly paralyzed with the toxins of the Tentacool. And to make things worse, Tentacruel was quickly moving into the city, a tidal wave quickly following in his wake.
"Tidal wave!" Brock warned, grabbing the girls by the wrist and dragging them away. "Everyone, get to high ground!"
People quickly started heading into buildings, climbing up the stairs as fast as they could. Thankfully for the gang, they managed to get inside before the tsunami hit Porta Vista, which carried leagues of Tentacool and the giant Tentacruel.
Thankfully for Team Rocket, they'd managed to escape Tentacruel's grasp, and managed to get a hold on a pole in the currents.
"Thank badness we survived." Jessie moaned.
"We're high and dry." James nodded.
"Good thing we grabbed onto this pole." Jessie said. "It should be safe to climb down now."
Then, the two looked down, and noticed that the pole they grabbed onto was in fact an antenna of a skyscraper. "Help!" The both of them yelled in a panic, noticing they weren't safe just yet. Though, they didn't notice someone was missing.
Tentacruel wasn't finished with the city, though, and grabbed a piece of debris from Nastina's hotel to throw it at the theme park the woman was constructing, completely wrecking it. Thankfully it was abandoned due to Nastina's insistence on destroying the Tentacool.
"Oh, it's a good thing I just got that insured." Nastina winced from her tank, watching the destruction unfold. "That's the last straw, Tentacruel! I'm coming after you!" Before she could do anything though, her tank got swept away by the currents again, derailing her plans once more as Tentacruel smashed his way through the city.
"So this is what Horsea was trying to warn us about." Brock said gravely, watching the destruction.
"I don't understand." Misty moaned. "Why would they do this?"
The Tentacool started making quick work of the city, using their energy beams to turn Hutber Port into a ruined wasteland. Strangely, though, it looked like both the Tentacool and Tentacruel were actively avoiding killing anyone, even going as far as to make sure the people themselves weren't hurt. Though, when it came to the empty buildings, Tentacruel quickly bisected them with a swipe of his tentacles.
"Look, up there!" Brock pointed at Tentacruel's tentacle, which was holding a familiar talking Pokémon in its grasp.
"It's Meowth!" Jessie said!
"Looks like he abandoned us." James moaned. "Oh, it's a Tentacruel world." He punned.
"No time for drama, let's get outta here!" Jessie critiqued before the duo got swept away by the waves once again.
"What's happening?!" Meowth panicked, seeing a Tentacool climb up to him. "Hey, get those tentacles away from me! I'm not into that kind of thing!" Then, Tentacool grabbed him by the temples, and took control over the Normal Type. "We are Tentacool and Tentacruel, hear us now." Meowth droned, being used as Tentacool and Tentacruel's mouthpiece. "You humans have destroyed our home, and now we will have our revenge."
As the Tentacool controlled Meowth said that, the Tentacool quickly started blasting the buildings once again, bringing even more devastation.
"Now we will destroy your homes, as you've so cruelly tried to destroy ours." Meowth finished Tentacruel's speech.
"Nastina's construction site!" Cinder snapped her fingers in realization. "It must've destroyed their nests!"
"That's right, the coral reef!" Brock realized, remembering Nastina's boasts.
"That's exactly what Horsea tried to tell us!" Misty gasped. "I should've understood, and I call myself a Water Type specialist." She said, her spirits going down.
"Look out!" Cinder yelled, spotting one of Tentacruel's tentacles heading their way. Acting quickly, she pulled Misty aside, just as it slammed into the roof of the building they were in.
Outside, Horsea was screaming at Tentacruel, pleading with him to stop this madness.
"It's too late, Horsea." The possessed Meowth droned. "No matter what you think, we cannot turn away from this. We must teach these monsters the pain of having their homes destroyed."
Horsea shook his head, trying to plead with the titan again.
"A spineless attitude like yours will only allow the humans to be more cruel in the future." Meowth scoffed.
Horsea didn't take kindly to that, saying something with anger in his voice.
"We're the spineless ones?!" Meowth screamed, Tentacruel's rage apparent. "I will not tolerate such insubordination!" The titan then smacked one of his tentacles in the water next to Horsea, flinging him into the air.
"Horsea!" Misty cried out in worry.
Thankfully, Pidgeotto quickly swooped down, grabbing Horsea in her talons before rushing back towards her trainer to deposit the Water Type in Misty's arms, Cinder's Bug Types right behind her.
"Good work Pidgeotto." Cinder smiled.
"I'm sorry, Horsea." Misty said, gently hugging the seahorse. "You got beaten up trying to defend us humans. Thank you."
"Pika Pika Pika!" Pikachu yelled, sparks flying from his cheek. The little Electric Type finally had enough of this.
"You want to try something, Pikachu?" Cinder asked, only to receive a nod from her partner. "All right. Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Krabby, Clefairy, I need you my friends!"
"Starmie, Staryu, Goldeen!" Misty called her Pokémon.
"Get ready Zubat!" Brock added, releasing his bat.
Pikachu quickly rode Pidgeotto into battle, Bulbasaur was hanging onto Butterfree with his vines, Clefairy quickly used Minimize and climbed onto Beedrill's back, Zubat quickly flew in formation with his friends, and the Water Types quickly entered the water.
The Tentacool fired their lasers at the Pokémon, but their airborne opponents kept dodging as Pikachu retaliated with a Thunderbolt, zapping large swathes of the jellyfish unconscious. Pidgeotto and Butterfree then started using Gust against them, throwing them back into the receding waters. Bulbasaur helped a hand, letting go of his ride and using his Vine Whip to throw them away.
Beedrill kept shooting at the Tentacool with her Poison Sting, the toxic darts herding her fellow Poison Types away. Zubat and Clefairy also teamed up, the former using Supersonic to confuse the horde and Clefairy using Sing to put them to sleep. And whenever a Tentacool tried to sneak up on them from the waters, both Goldeen and Squirtle quickly launched them out of it with a well placed Horn Attack or Rapid Spin.
Staryu and Starmie also helped out, the former grabbing onto the unconscious Pokémon to drop them into the sea and the latter using its psychic powers to do the same, in addition to landing some super effective hits.
Cinder watched this all happen through her Aura, listening to the people around her cheer. However, she couldn't help but notice something. "Hey, Brock, where's Misty?"
Brock quickly looked around. "I don't know." He replied, troubled.
"My fellow Pokémon, why are you fighting against us?" Tentacruel asked through Meowth, before he started smacking all the enemy Pokémon away.
Unbeknownst to anyone, Misty started climbing another building, one that was in clear view of the titanic Pokémon.
"If you take the side of these monsters, you are our enemy." Tentacruel glared, preparing to strike once again at the now grounded Pokémon. However, Pidgeotto and Pikachu flew between them.
"Pika, Pikachu!" The Electric Type screamed at the titan, who started talking back without using Meowth.
"Pikachu's reasoning with him?" Brock asked in amazement.
Pikachu kept talking to the titan. He said that there were indeed bad humans, some of them among the people Tentacruel was attacking, there were also good humans. Humans that would risk their own lives to protect others, some of whom were now under attack by the titan and his subordinates.
Tentacruel, however, was having none of it. He saw humanity's cruelty first hand, and suffered from it. Pikachu too said that he had suffered from evil humans, but also that he had the luck to be protected by a kinder human. Unfortunately, Pikachu's passionate speech did not move the titan, who was preparing to strike the rodent and his ride down.
"Tentacruel, please stop!" Misty yelled from the top of a skyscraper, in full view of the leviathan.
"Misty?!" Cinder and Brock gasped, seeing their friend have the titan's attention.
"Please listen, Tentacruel!" Misty pleaded. "You've done enough! We humans understand that we hurt you, and you've destroyed the buildings owned by the monster who started it! That hotel, that theme park, all owned by the woman who started this all! But everyone else here didn't do anything against you, and they now know better!"
Tentacruel actually seemed to listen this time, as his gaze shifted across the ruins. The people were looking at him in fear, children were looking at him in fear.
"I know the people who live here won't destroy your homes anymore, that they'll do what they can to stop others from repeating this mistake." Misty kept pleading. "So please, stop it before more people get hurt."
Tentacruel stared at Misty for a moment before lifting Meowth up again. "If this happens again, we will not stop. Remember my promise." Then, the Tentacool controlling Meowth released her hold and dropped into the ocean below, only for Tentacruel to toss the feline away into the semi-destroyed amusement park, which caused the ferris wheel to fall over completely and destroy what little was left.
"Meowth, where am I?" The Normal Type groaned, seeing his partners in crime next to him.
"For the moment-" Jessie started, groaning in pain.
"We've got our feet on the ground." James finished, both he and Jessie falling unconscious once again.
Tentacruel was quickly ordering his forces back into the ocean, the swarms of Tentacool going back into the waters while the giant walked after them. Unfortunately, a certain old hag wasn't having it.
Nastina managed to climb out of the rubble, her tank ruined and she herself was filled with rage. "You think you can get away that easy, do ya?!" She quickly pulled out a bazooka, aiming it at the behemoth. "Take this!" She screamed, firing at Tentacruel.
Only for the shell to harmlessly bounce off of the giant, who quickly turned around to glare at the woman who destroyed his home with rage.
"I'll capture you, throw you into a tank, and charge admission!" Nastina screeched in fury, firing her bazooka over and over again, switching to regular guns when she ran out of missiles. "Eat lead, Squiddly!"
"She really doesn't get the message, does she?" Cinder growled.
"We've gotta stop her before things get even worse!" Brock yelled, quickly dragging his friend through the devastation.
"Come on, you big jellyfish, I'll show you!" Nastina yelled, not relenting with her firepower. Only to get blasted in the face with ink, courtesy from Misty's Horsea.
"What's wrong with you, Nastina?!" Misty yelled to the old hag. "Don't you understand?! If you keep doing this, it'll only cause more suffering for everyone!"
"You stuck-up little brat!" Nastina yelled before she noticed something blotting the sun out. When she looked, she saw Tentacruel standing above her, not quite doing anything yet. Being the narcissist that she is, Nastina thought she might convince the titan. "Hey, Tentacruel, why don't you and me go into business together? With your uniqueness and my connections, we can make a lot of dough!"
Tentacruel, obviously, did not appreciate the offer. He quickly swiped at the woman with one of his tentacles, causing her to be launched. The last Cinder and the gang saw of her was her screaming as she was launched over the horizon.
"Well, that's one problem taken care of." Cinder blinked, having no empathy for Nastina. Frankly, she didn't care if the hag lived or died, considering the devastation she caused.
Tentacruel, for his part, simply vanished beneath the waves once more.
"Goodbye, Tentacruel." Misty smiled. Despite everything, she was glad to see a creature as amazing and unique as this leviathan.

Meanwhile, back in the Acapulco District of Porta Vista, which had managed to avoid the Tentacool attack entirely, Brutella was busy rebuilding her restaurant after that disaster with Team Rocket's sub. She and her construction crew had managed to rebuild the frame of the building, partially thanks to the money Moe paid her.
She couldn't help but sneer at that, seeing the now much more successful Beach House Moe next to her property with those new owners. Then, Brutella heard a scream above her and before she knew it, something crashed into the construction site, causing what was left of Brutella's Ocean Chateau to collapse once again.
Brutella glared at the projectile, groaning in pain. "You shouldn't drop in on me like this." She said once she realized who the projectile was.
"I thought that's what cousins are for." Nastina groaned as the two lost consciousness, both just thankful to be alive after the enormous falls they both had recently.

Later that day, when the sun was setting, Cinder and the gang had finally managed to catch another ferry back to the mainland. The trio was leaning on the railings of the ship, Brock and Misty watching Porta Vista behind them.
"Well, that happened." Brock noted. "But at least nobody died in that chaos."
"Still think those things were cute, Misty?" Cinder teased.
"Sure do." Misty nodded. "But I think my new Horsea's much cuter than that giant Tentacruel anyway." She released her Pokémon, the Water Type quickly landing in her arms next to Oddish, the two cuties quickly nuzzling with their trainer.
Unbeknownst to anyone on the ship though, Team Rocket had managed to tie a rope between the vessel and a wooden tub, allowing them to sneak back onto the mainland. "We'll get them next time." The trio moaned in despair, knowing they'd be stuck like that for a few hours.

And that's a wrap. After a disaster involving an attack from a school of Tentacool led by a giant Tentacruel, the gang has finally managed to find a way back to the mainland.
I did add a few lines about a certain ingredient with Team Rocket's mix, specifically the common candies from Pokémon Reborn. They're basically anti-rare candies, which you may need in that game due to its mechanic of all overleveled Pokémon disobeying orders.
