The ladies from earlier: Sanders, Stephanie, Mary, Ellody, Jen, Carrie, Emma, Kitty, Laurie, and Miles, woke up after taking a brief 10-12 minute nap. By this point, everyone has gotten whatever footwear they had back on. They were all hoping that they'll be able to dance barefoot again soon. Until then, Kitty suggested doing another song seen on Sesame Street. However, they all wanted to know which one.
Laurie: Looks like one called "Dancing Shoes".
Sanders: Good thing we all put our shoes back on.
Emma: Yeah. We're gonna need them to dance with while we sing.
Stephanie: I agree. This is gonna be so much fun.
Carrie: Alright. Here we go.
The song got going.
Miles: My mommy says I can't go anywhere until I get my haircut!
Laurie: So why don't you just go and get your wee little haircut?
Miles: Because I'm scared to get my haircut.
Laurie: Oh.
Carrie: Well, Miles. Sometimes whenever I get scared, dancing makes me a whole lot better.
Kitty: (spoken) Yeah, let's show him, Carrie. Listen up, Miles.
(singing) When you're down
and you got the blues.
Carrie: The blues.
Kitty: And everything,
Everything is just bad news.
Just bad news.
(cuts to a close up of Carrie and Mary's sneakers, Miles and Laurie's sandals and Kitty's boots)
Look down at your feet.
Come on, look.
They're trying to kick a couple of blues.
Kitty: Yeah!
Stephanie: (close up of her sneakers) They might look like just a pair of sneakers,
but they're really your dancing shoes.
Mary: That's right!
Ellody: So put on your dancing shoes!
Emma: Put them on!
Sanders: And dance away the blues!
(cuts to a close up on her boots)
When you got on your dancing shoes,
Jen: (cuts to a close up on her boots)
you can dance away the blues.
No more dancing blues.
Laurie: Sometimes you're gonna win.
Emma: That's right!
Laurie: And sometimes you're gonna lose.
Emma: True, gal!
Laurie: (cuts to a close up of her sandals) But when you got on your dancing shoes,
you can move any way you choose.
So put on your dancing shoes.
(cut to Miles' sandals dancing next to Laurie's sandals)
Emma: Put them on!
Stephanie: And dance away the blues!
Carrie: Do your thing!
Emma and Kitty: (cuts to a close up on Emma's sandals and Kitty's boots) When you got on your dancing shoes,
you can dance away the blues.
Miles, dance away the blues.
Mary: There's no right or wrong way.
Ellody: There's no good or bad.
Mary: Just think of the fun times.
Ellody: We're all gonna have!
Mary and Ellody: (cuts to close ups of their respective shoes) So put on your dancing shoes.
I said put on your dancing shoes.
I said put on your dancing shoes.
(cuts to a close up on Miles' sandals as she continues dancing)
Stephanie: And dance away the blues.
I said dance away the blues.
Sanders: Come and dance away the blues.
Come on and dance away the blues.
Jen: (cuts to a close up on her boots) Keep your feet up off the ground.
And just move, move, move us all around.
I said move, move, move us all around.
I said put on your dancing shoes.
All (except Miles): And say goodbye to blues.
Hoo!
The song ended.
Miles: Thanks for the jam, ladies. I'm feeling better already.
Laurie: I knew you would.
Carrie: With or without our shoes on, we can still bust it loose.
Stephanie: You got that right. (continues dancing)
Emma: This feels like something I can do all day.
Kitty: Me too. (to Emma) May I have this dance?
Emma: Of course dear sister.
Emma and Kitty held hands while dancing together. They were all in unanimous agreement. That was a fun song.
