Yellow Experience
To be honest, writing this series is like a refuge to me. After so many days of waiting especially. My other fics are becoming tiring to write, though I'll definitely finish them. This story here is my favorite of those I've written so far, it'll never become tiring to write this. Enjoy!
Answer to Misstykata: What happened to Jonathan was an unfortunate anomaly, though. Speaking of Ghiaccio, Giorno will avoid killing his next enemies. That's all I'm gonna say, no prior spoiling in my Author's Notes. While I'm not a fan of angst and trauma because of my neutral-positive real life general outlook, I'll include some for realistic writing. All in all, thanks a lot for your reply, appreciate it!
Answer to cecebeec: Yes! You get me! This Okinawa arc is one of the primary reasons for me to write in the first place, I've imagined so many fun ideas I can't wait to share!
I do not own JoJo's Bizarre Adventure or Assassination Classroom
Chapter 14: Eventful day
The beach resort Class 3-E was going to is located on Fukuma island. They got there by boat.
Haruno took a deep breath, standing on the front side of the deck, his 2 best friends by his side. For the special occasion of holiday he changed his outfit. He wore an expensive strawberry red suit with fitting strawberry red designer shoes. His suit was unbuttoned and he didn't wear a shirt, leaving his well-toned eightpack visible for everyone. The ladies liked it. Other than that he only wore a plain black necktie, nothing else. His hair was roughly the same as always, just with a little more spiky and defined bangs. "Man, this island is stunning. I'm glad I get to come here with you guys."
"Yeah, I can't wait to try out all the activities." Nagisa agreed. There was such a variety of things they could do.
"Speaking of activities…" Karma mentioned, curiously turning his head towards the blond. "Since you refused to assassinate handicapped Korosensei, you won't participate in all assassination games, right?"
This decision of the delinquent meant he would part with his friends at one point to have alone. But that didn't mean the entire time. "Don't worry, how about we spend the time we have in common together?" Haruno suggested. It wasn't that long, but it could be fun.
"Sounds great." the redhead said. Nice bargain. "What are we all gonna do?"
Shrugging, the blond looked at him. "Dunno myself, let's just wait till we disembark."

After checking in at the hotel, the class decided to do assassination games in groups. Those games would begin after lunch. The three friends joined together into one group.
That group was all about hang gliders. Two people piloting a glider, sitting behind one another.
Korosensei took part as well, hiding right below the sailcloth. Thanks to his maneuvering capabilities, his own glider could fly unusually quickly and perform stunts like vertical loops and left banks. The air resort workers observing the class from below were stunned, technically those stunts weren't possible.
"Ah! Haruno-kun, look! He's escaping us!" the bluenette observed. Him and the blond were sharing a glider and were the most capable in tailing and getting close to the yellow man's glider.
"Che! No problem, Karma's coming from the side. We just have to lure Korosensei into the right position." the delinquent informed, planning his flight path.
Karma was flying to the right of the octopus man while they were to the left. Coordinating, the three steered their gliders parallel to their teacher's. From across Korosensei there was another glider coming his way. To avoid a crash, the yellow man had to make a vertical U-turn. The trio anticipated the move so they turned earlier. After the octopus man himself completed his turn, he discovered that the three had trapped him in a position they wouldn't miss from.
Haruno, Karma and Nagisa readied their Anti-Sensei guns and shot. "Now!"
Three pellets hit three different tentacles. "Oh no, I've been hit! Good job, boys!"
The gliding game continued for the others, though the trio passed it.
"Nice!" the bluenette beamed, content about the development. Him and his friends were down again. "Karma-kun, that was amazing coordination! I know Haruno-kun won't participate with us later, but if we do it again, we have a good chance at getting Korosensei!"
"Right. Though things will actually be interesting without Haruno, I wanna see how far we've come, not in how many milliseconds Korosensei gets assassinated." the redhead joked, grinning.
"Haha…" the blond chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "I won't participate, but I'll still watch and cheer you on."
He didn't even need to tell that he believed in their abilities. Their level of mutual trust was insanely high.
"So what now?" the petite boy asked, changing the topic. "We're done for now, what do we do? Wait for the others to finish their games or go on with the next thing?"
"Hmm" Karma mused, tapping his cheek. "I'd say we go now. What do you say, Haruno?"
A smirk formed on the delinquent's face. "I believe we should go on now. We should train first to be ready for the big thing I'll set up."
Curiously, Karma and Nagisa exchanged glances. Whatever Haruno would set up, if he said it was big, it would be big. And entertaining.

Class E had reserved the hotel and the entire area around it, the beach included. Some people were still there, as they wouldn't be forced to leave until a few hours later. The blond wanted to accelerate the process, for two reasons. The first being to clear the water, the second being a prank. His friends were eager to see that prank, they already knew it'd be hilarious and memorable.
"Watch!" the delinquent snickered, tossing a couple of pebbles he'd picked up earlier in the sea. About 20 seconds later, large shark fins emerged from below the surface. [Ougon no tomodachi] gave life to the pebbles and turned them into great white sharks.
"Ooooh, haha!" the redhead chuckled in amusement, clapping. "I see what you're planning!"
"Isn't this a bit mean?" the bluenette questioned, raising his brow. He knew Haruno would never let sharks eat innocent civilians, but still…
"I mean, yeah, but pranks are essentially mean." the blond shrugged, sheepishly grinning. "Wait and see, you'll laugh about it just like you laugh about my other pranks."
Coming closer and closer, the group of shark fins approached the beach. Eventually they came close enough for the people to notice. Panicking, they sprinted out of the water, packed their stuff and fled the beach, wildly screaming and shouting. They all believed those were real sharks willing to attack them, so they got all hysterical. Though the delinquent's creations would never attack unless the Stand master gave the order. Once everyone deserted the beach, the sharks returned back to their original pebble selves and sunk. No one would suspect stones on the seafloor.
"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!" all three boys heartily laughed after they stole the beach for themselves.
"Gehehehehe~! You should've seen their faces!" Karma snickered, crying tears of laughter. "This is the greatest!"
Even Nagisa had to admit this was funny. "Hehehe! Haruno-kun, your pranks don't disappoint!" That was the meanest prank he'd witness Haruno pull, though the sheer scale of this prank made it the most hilarious he'd seen. "All those people running for their lives because of small rocks!"
"Hahahah! Told you, didn't I?" Haruno finished laughing, wiping tears out of his eyes. "You won't forget today, that I can promise."
It took a couple minutes for the three to calm down and move on to the next topic. Such is youth, a wonderful time where laughing and having fun is much easier than other times of life.
"Alright, now that we have the entire beach for ourselves, we can surf as freely as possible!" the blond said in an excited tone. The redhead shared the feeling, he started bearing an excited expression.
"Surfing?" the bluenette repeated in a slighty shy manner. The petite had never surfed before, unlike his friends. Karma especially was rather good at the sport due to him often joining his parents' overseas travels prior to being demoted to Class E. "Uhh… I don't think I can surf, I feel like I'll have severe difficulties."
"It's fine. We have a few hours, but you're a quick learner anyway. You'll become a pro in no time."
"Yeah, I can teach you all about surfing."
Nagisa was an absolute beginner and sure to fail hard in his first tries. But his friends were helpful and accepting of his shortcomings. It'd feel bad for him to refuse their offer of help and they promised to have fun today, so flat out refusing was not on the bluenette's mind. Nagisa would learn how to surf.
"Thank you, Haruno-kun, Karma-kun." the bluenette thanked. His initual nervousness was fading away. "How will you teach me?"
Haruno and Karma exchanged glances. They both had the same idea, which was partially inspired by Korosensei's teaching methods.
"The best way of learning how to surf is by trying out yourself. You'll learn experience important steps like balance or timing on your own and figure out how and where to utilize these steps."
"Come, Nagisa. Let's borrow some surfboards and just get on with the action."
'These two are so motivated.' Nagisa thought, his own motivation becoming more apparant. The delinquents' enthusiasm was contagious. The bluenette smiled determinedly. "Yes, I can't wait to learn how to surf."
A few minutes later, having gotten their surfboards, longboards to be exact, it was time for some preparations before even entering the water. Basic preparations to make it easier for beginners.
The blond took out a pack of wax. "Rub this on the surface of your board. It'll improve the grip of your feet to the board and make it less likely for you to fall." Haruno explained.
"And use this" the redhead added, referring to a leash "to bind it to the back foot of your stance and your board. For security purposes."
Those preparations made perfect sense for the bluenette. "Thanks, I will. But what was that about the back foot of my stance?"
"I'll get to it now." Haruno spoke, going to answer Nagisa's question. "There are two stances: The regular foot stance where you put your left foot forward and your right foot backwards, and the goofy foot stance where it's the opposite."
"Just so you know, you stand sideways in both stances." Karma stated. "Don't forget that."
"Right, I won't." the bluenette said, focusing on the blond's explanation with his mind. "I wonder, though, what stance should I choose?"
"Stand on your board and find out for yourself." Haruno told. "I'm a goofy footer, Karma's a regular footer. Choose which stance you're more comfortable with"
Curious about his preference, Nagisa stepped on his board and tried finding out his preferred stance. He first tried regular foot, then goofy foot. "Guess I'm a goofy footer." the bluenette spoke, having made his decision.
"Great, now we can get in the ocean." the redhead said with excitement.
'Karma-kun's so excited. Surfing must be really fun.' Nagisa thought with a narrow smile, following him in the water. The blond followed after them.
Some seconds later the three laid down their boards in stomach-deep water.
"Okay, the first thing you want to do in the water is laying down on the board." Haruno and Karma started instructing. "These longboards are longer than your body, as the name says. The way you lie down is actually pretty simple, you do it from the back with only your feet in the water."
'Easy enough.' the bluenette thought, doing as his friends did. "What's next?"
"We start paddling."
Nagisa followed his friends, paddling hard. This part wasn't that easy for him, his friends were paddlinq quite fast.
"There's a reason why we have to paddle fast, Nagisa." the blond elaborated. "You surf on waves. To get to a wave, you actually have to catch one."
"Huh?" The bluenette was confused, his expression reflecting this. "Catch one?"
"To reach a wave, you have to paddle faster than the wave moves." the redhead clarified. "Waves can move pretty fast, so the paddling alone requires you to be decent at sports. Can be tough."
'Oh, it is tough!' Nagisa was quite athletic himself, though paddling on surfboards with only your legs couldn't produce the same speed as swimming normally, as one's movements were limited. Paddling fast is more tiring than swimming fast.
The trio paddled to a wave and reached it. That wave was bigger than average but nothing special.
'Is it time for the next step?' the bluenette wondered, looking at his friends.
"Don't stand up yet, Nagisa." Haruno carefully instructed. "Feel how your board moves and turns. Test out the stability of both your board and your body on top of the board."
As the wave broke out, Nagisa felt his board rock back and forth and side to side with unexpected movements. It partially tilted too. The bluenette almost fell off his board, but managed to maintain stability in the end. 'Phew… I knew it wouldn't be so easy. Thankfully I didn't fall off.'
"Good, good. Keep it up, you're doing fine." Karma praised. "Keep it up a few times and maintain control."
"Yes, okay." Nagisa replied. 'Haruno-kun and Karma-kun believe in me! They know I can do it!' The bluenette tried again a few times and got better with each wave. Every following fave he gained a better grasp on stability and control.
"You did great." the blond commended, smirking at the fast learner. "Impressive you didn't fall off, most other beginners would have. I believe you're ready for the next step now."
"What is it?" Each second Nagisa spent surfing he became more eager about it.
"Wait for the next wave."
About 10 seconds later a new wave started approaching the friends from afar. This one seemed to be the biggest so far. Eventually it caught the surfers.
"Here's the next step: We're gonna start standing up." the redhead announced. "Watch and see what Haruno and I do."
"First push yourself up, extend your arms." Haruno instructed, actively demonstrating his instructions. "Then place your front foot below your belly while you're leaning. Remember to place it sideways. Next place your back foot sideways near the back. Once you've done that, slowly stand up. Look forward with your head and also stretch your arms for balance and orientation."
Karma and Haruno 'survived' the process and rode the wave. They were surfing, confidently and controlled. The wave elegantly took them all the way to the beach.
Meanwhile, the bluenette fell off his surfboard. The leash on his back leg kept him close to his buoyant board and prevented him from drowning, though the sudden influx of water in eyes and ears hurt a little. "Ouch…"
A couple minutes later the blond and the redhead rejoined him in the out. "Sorry, I fell off."
"Well, that's nothing unexpected or bad." Haruno casually reassured him. "You have more than enough time to try again and improve."
"What's important is whether you liked the experience of surfing or not." Karma told in an understanding manner. "If you like surfing, it shouldn't matter whether you fail once or twice."
"Hmm… I guess you two are right. I'll try again and again, because I figured I like surfing. You've introduced me to a fun sport." Nagisa said, wanting to properly ride a wave and become better.
"Try again as many times as you like. We'll be here to support you."
The bluenette nodded, he took their words to heart and determination awoke inside of him. Nagisa attempted the step of standing up again and again, consistently improving. From not falling off during the push-up, to not falling off after placing his first foot, to not falling off after placing his second foot. Various attempts later he could safely ride a wave until the end.
Nagisa even became good enough to surf together as a trio with Haruno and Karma. They were more experienced than him, but he was still decent enough to keep up and felt the same enjoyment surfing as them.
"Wow, this is the best day I've had in a long time." the bluenette beamed.
"For me, this is the best holiday I've had in my life." the blond admitted, truly immersed in the fun time he experienced.
"Life doesn't get better than this." the redhead spoke, totally content with the present day. His eyes were closed and arms folded behind his head.
"But it does." Haruno said, grinning suggestively. "There's something I wanna show you that'll elevate the fun even higher. We're gonna go on an adventure."
His friends blinked intently. "The way you're talking, it probably will. So where are we going?"
Smirking in excitement, the blond clapped once. "Brace yourselves, no one else will EVER have an experience like this."
XXXXXXXXXX
Haruno let [Ougon no tomodachi] pick up a handful of sand, throwing the grains in the sea after activating its life-giving ability. A whole school of sharks came to life near the beach. Except for 3 sharks which the blond summoned over to him, their purpose was to guard the beach, as the 3 friends were gonna go on an adventure a significant bit away.
"Don't be scared, they won't bite." Haruno reassured, referring to the 3 sharks with them. "They'll calmly allow you to do this."
With 'this', the blond meant putting the surfing leash on the sharks like a pet. His shark would be pulling his surfboard like a horse would pull a carriage.
"O-okay." Karma and Nagisa were a little nervous, those great white sharks could kill them in a single moment had those been rogue sharks. Though they did what Haruno did before them, leashing a shark. It felt quite awkward.
Seeing his friends were done, the blond told them one last warning. "Hold on tight to your boards, things are gonna get real fast!"
The redhead and bluenette understood what he meant. The adventure Haruno talked about was a ride. Both really wondered how fast the ride would be.
"Alright!" Haruno vigorously proclaimed, rubbing his hands. "Remember to hold on tight, because here we go~!"
Karma and Nagisa felt their eyes bulge out as Haruno's order made the sharks accelerate. Both followed the blond's advice and held onto their surfboards, but the initial stage went far from smooth. Their heads jolted backwards from the sudden speed, wind blew their red and light blue hair back.
"Whooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! It's faaaaaaaaaaaaast!"
Some hundreds of meters further after getting kinda used to the speed, the adrenaline rush of the redhead and bluenette was gradually wearing off. That ride still kept them focused and attentive, though less shocked. It felt like a mix of jet-skiing and water-skiing, with getting pulled by something fast but sitting instead of standing.
'Nevermind… This is awesome!' Although the beginning was sudden and a little rattling, the ride turned into something very thrilling. Karma and Nagisa began thoroughly appreciating this adventure.
"Wooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooo!"
But the adventure wasn't over yet. It was more like only the beginning. A few kilometers off the coast the sharks came to a halt. Stand user's orders.
"Ah, this was so much fun! Why are we stopping, Haruno?" Karma asked.
"Because it's time for the next phase of our adventure." Haruno answered. "And this part is even crazier, I guarantee you."
He opened his palm and threw 2 small but disproportionately heavy rocks into the sea. [Ougon no tomodachi]'s power went into the rocks before that.
"This time it's not sharks that I'm creating." the blond revealed. "Because these creations need a lot, and I mean a lot of space to come to life, we'll have to wait some minutes."
Nagisa felt the suspense. He eyed the water intently. 'What will Haruno-kun give life to? Giant krakens?'
Moment of truth. About 15 minutes later, the answer to the question had been answered. 2 blue whales emerged from the depths of the sea, one give or take 50 meters away from the three, and one right beneath them. The boys felt something rise under their boards.
30 meters long were the giants of the ocean, the longest and heaviest animal not just of the ocean or mammals, but of all animalkind. The sheer size of these massive whales was certain to shock any person first seeing one of them. With that length, they were about 15-20 times longer than a human and the length of 2 long buses.
All this was so majestic and grand. The redhead and bluenette could hardly believe their eyes. "What the… this is like a dream…" they uttered in disbelief, their mouths agape, eyes flimmering in awe.
Haruno surprised his friends more in one day than ever before, really. "I can't really believe it myself, nature truly is magnificent."
Without a warning, the whale blasted water through its airhole. The trio got to witness this spectacular sight up close.
"Whoa!" Nagisa was so dazzled. It was as if his eyes were a camera filming an animal documentary.
"Damn, this sure is beautiful but I wouldn't want to get hit by that!" Karma exclaimed, standing the closest to the fountain. More water rained on him than the other two.
"Well, I know everything is breathtaking, but we have to get off the whale." the blond informed. "The whales have a purpose."
The whale they were standing on lowered its body slightly, enough to softly place the boys and their boards in the sea without letting them fall. The other whale further away swung its mighty tailfin, generating a wave.
"About the purpose of the whales, they're gonna make waves for us to ride on." Haruno stated, further amazing his best friends. "Right now we're too close for them to create monster waves, though once we're far enough away, they can go all out."
"So this is why you gave life to the whales." the redhead observed. "I don't know what to say, your plans are just too great."
"I agree with Karma-kun." the bluenette commented with a smile. "Haruno-kun, hanging around with you has never felt better."
"Glad you're enjoying today. I really wanted to make this day special." the blond smirked.
"You did." Karma gave him a thumbs up.
"Thanks a lot, Haruno-kun."
His friends' appreciation of his effort greatly pleased Haruno. "You're welcome. Now, let's take advantage of my whales and surf!"
Without stalling any longer, the boys caught waves and surfed. The farther from the whales they moved, the stronger the new waves became. For the remainder of their time together, all three thoroughly enjoyed their activity. One could easily read the satisfaction off the expressions with joyful, smiling eyes and open-mouthed happy smiles they bore. To either, today was one of the best, if not the best day in their lives.

As they participated in the assassination attempt, the redhead and the bluenette went back to preparing themselves for the assassination. The blond was a little sad about it, but it wasn't the end of the world.
Closing in on the beach, the delinquent eyed Karasuma and Irina from afar. Upon seeing them, Haruno became even more disappointed that they couldn't witness his next, super outrageous prank.
Through his Stand, the blond ordered the blue whales to generate the largest and tallest wave possible. He intentionally didn't approach the beach and waited for the monster wave to arrive.

Back on the beach, the blonde felt surprised and disappointed. "What's this… There isn't a single person on the beach." The young lady wore a very revealing swimsuit consisting only of flower-shaped cloth. She wanted to show off her sexy swimsuit, but no one was there to react to it.
"Class E reserved this hotel and the entire area around it." the government agent explained. "Plus, I've heard that everyone fled the beach 2 hours ago or so because of sharks occupying the water."
"Why does my swimsuit debut always turn out like this?!" the foreign assassin complained, a tick mark forming on her forehead.
Irina then felt the agent touch her shoulder. When she looked at him, he wordlessly pointed at the sea front, which the blonde was facing with her back. Tadaomi was wide-eyed and seemed shocked. Wondering what could shock the stoic man like that, the young lady turned her head. The next instant her eyes bulged out in disbelief.
A monster wave, easily 10 meters tall, came charging at them. This wave wasn't wide or fast enough to be a tsunami, though it was monstrous still. And Shiobana Haruno was surfing that wave, appearing totally fearless as he was surfing.
"WHAT THE…" the teachers yelled in shock, frozen in disbelief, teeth clenched. "THAT HARUNOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
For every wave there was a point where they had to break. Coming down on the sandy beach, the blond's wave's lifetime ended. The water crashed down, flowing all over the beach. Karasuma and Irina took a salty shower. Needless to say, they would've preferred staying dry. Especially the government agent, at least the blonde wore a swimsuit.
"BUAGH!"
"BLEH!"
"GLEBB!"
Both were swept all over the beach by the stream, rolling like ragdolls while seawater submerged them. Once the water receded, a longboard with a daring surfer stopped right next to the wet adults. They scowled at him in severe irritation.
"What?" the delinquent feigned innocence, displaying his palms. "What's with your pissed expressions?"
"You little devil…" the agent hissed, eyes twitching. "What have I done to always suffer your chaos…"
"Oh, you're not the only one…" the young lady lowly growled, looking like she wanted to maul Haruno.
"Bad timing on your behalf." Haruno joked, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head. His teachers didn't take the joke well.
"Give me one reason we shouldn't punish you for dangerous behavior." Tadaomi venomously warned. His eyes turned white from anger.
"Come on, it's not like I had anything to do with that wave. I can't manipulate the sea." the blond lied, inwardly laughing about his prank. "And it's not like anyone got hurt. If you did, I'd heal you."
'The gall of this boy…' Karasuma did nothing in the end, turning away and sighing. "I need a raise."
"Me too." the foreign assassin huffed. "Geez, what a frustrating day. Everything is going wrong."
Those two were obviously tired of their plans going wrong. The delinquent's prank was only the cherry on top. Still, their pessimistic attitude invoked Haruno's attention. "There seems to be something bothering you."
"Yes, there is." the government agent spoke, not turning his head to his student. "A lot, actually. Irina and I were contemplating about how it's rare for assassins to have plans that work out as planned."
"I'm going to let you in on something, kid. We were thinking about some hitmen whom we couldn't get a hold of, and some suspicious rumors about this island floating around." Irina shared her information.
The blond didn't like the sound of this information. "So you think there could be dangers involving us?" the delinquent inquired, a bit concerned.
"We believe there are." the agent told, seriousness underlying in his voice. "The atmosphere surrounding this assassination has become uneasy. I hope the assassination ends well while things still look clear."
"For now, let's go back." the blonde suggested. Tadaomi was fond of the suggestion.
"Eh?" Haruno was confused. "But you two just arrived here, why would you want to go back already?"
"Because someone ruined our beach mood." the young lady answered. Two pairs of eyes shot furious glares at that someone, who sweatdropped.
"Actually, you can stay." Karasuma changed his mind. "Keep your damn surfboard away from me."

Hours later in the evening, the entire class met again for dinner on a dinner boat. Haruno, Karma and Nagisa sat on a table especially far from everyone. The purpose was that the former could tell the latter 2 about his prank without the teachers on the receiving end accidently hearing about it.
"…and then they got all soaked. You should've seen how miffed they were." the blond concluded with a shit-eating grin.
"Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!"
"…haha! Seriously though, Haruno-kun, you should stop pissing off Karasuma-sensei. It's like a curse at this point." the bluenette reasoned.
"Maybe I should." the delinquent admitted. There was a limit for everything.
"Hey Haruno, the assassination attempt begins after dinner." the redhead informed. "We are ready."
"I bet you are. Can't wait."
Nagisa and Karma couldn't wait either. Looking back at how inexperienced they were at the beginning of the school year, it was time for them to prove their progress. This was a matter of pride, too.
XXXXXXXXXX
Dinner ended. The time for Korosensei's assassination had come. The beginning of the assassination attempt would take place in the party room on the pier. There, the yellow man had nowhere to run. He had to sit down, actually, to watch a movie. This would mark the starting phase of the assassination.
Isogai gave the instructions. "First, we'll have you enjoy a movie edited by Mimura. Then, 7 of the 8 winners will destroy your tentacles. And that'll be the signal for everyone to begin the assassination. Is that alright with you, Korosensei?"
"Nurufufufu. Very well." the octopus man accepted. He was looking forward to learn about their ingenious attempt.
"Is everyone ready?" the teacher asked with an inspiring voice. "I look forward to everyone giving their all in this assassination. An exhibition of everyone's knowledge, ingenuity, and genuine efforts. I couldn't be any more excited to witness this. Don't hold back now, come at me with a bang."
With that, the lights went off. Except for the 7 winners, everyone went outside to their posts and positions during the assassination. Though some would randomly go inside and leave again, that wasn't forbidden.
Korosensei and the 7 were left watching the movie. The movie was about the yellow man's antics, perverted or otherwise absurd and/or embarrassing.
"EHH?!" the octopus man let out, his yellow head glowing red out of shame. He didn't think his students were aware of this much. Worst of all, the movie went on for a whole hour.
Once the movie ended, the teacher became all tired and sluggish out of the embarrassment of watching all of his awkward moments. "Dead… Your teacher has already died… After everyone finding out about those things, I can't go on living anymore." he barely sluggishly mumbled.
Suddenly, Korosensei felt something different. Something wet and bloated. The yellow man looked down at his tentacles and his alertness returned. 'When did the water reach floor level…? I didn't sense anyone pouring any water… Unless… the high tide?!'
"We haven't done anything yet. Maybe someone shortened the support pillars under the hut." Terasaka cheekily implied.
"After getting seasick, being embarrassed and taking in sea water, you've become pretty sluggish, haven't you?" Rio figured, smirking.
"Now, it's time for the real deal. You promised you can't dodge."
They aimed at him with Anti-Sensei pistols. Beside those pistols, there were most likely snipers outside. But the octopus man wouldn't go back on his word, his credibility as a teacher came before his survival. He perfectly accepted 7 of his 8 tentacles to be severed.
Following him losing most his limbs, the walls and roof of the hut collapsed without a warning. 10 students standing around their teacher like a circle shot upwards on fly boards which used water pressure to fly. They flew high enough to form a dome-shaped hydraulic cage.
Outside the water dome, other students enacted similar measures, using water to block Korosensei's paths. Even dolphins jumped around, also part of the assassination.
Haruno was kinda disappointed how he couldn't see the yellow man up close despite being only a neutral observer. Though he was impressed by the detailed cornering his classmates had set up. Cooperation and coordination are very powerful weapons in assassination.
The next phase after surrounding the octopus man with water was cornering him even tighter using bullets, lots of bullets. The bullets were specifically fired not to hit the teacher, but to fly past him and tighten his mobility further.
When this phase also became successful, Nagisa made his move. He was a Stand user, the master of [Otonashi Ho]. The bluenette didn't even call his Stand's name, he had to be absolutely quiet. His blond friend shot him a supportive glance, sent an encouraging smile and a telepathic message through his own Stand.
"Come on Nagisa, you can do it! I know you'll be successful this time! Go!"
"Thanks, Haruno-kun. I won't let you down!"
Turning his back, the petite boy swam through the water using splashes, roughly broke through the hydraulic cage and even stomped on the ground Korosensei was standing on. The yellow man didn't hear a single thing.
There was an Anti-Sensei knife in Nagisa's hand as he stood behind the octopus man. A single bead of sweat ran down his face. The bluenette was understandably nervous, but he'd follow through. He had the right to prove his progress to not only his classmates, friends, the world he'd save and even his target, but also to himself.
'Korosensei… This is the result of everything you've taught me. I don't know what you're thinking right now, but you won't expect me. I wonder if you'll have time to say some final words after I'm done with this… I'd like to hear from you personally whether I was a good assassin or not.'
Done with his thoughts, the petite boy thrust his knife forward, stabbing through his teacher's chest.
Two seconds of delay followed. Korosensei realized he'd been stabbed. The yellow man slowly turned his yellow around, eyeing his assassin. When he saw Nagisa's face, he smiled.
'…Korosensei?'
And then the octopus man's entire body began glowing bright yellow before shooting off in a flash of light.
Both a shock and light wave knocked back the bluenette. And everyone else in his direct vicinity too. The hydraulic cage lost its stability and everyone was blown backwards.
"Uhah!"
"Wahh!"
Eventually, the light faded. Was this the last trace of the monster threatening the planet?
"D… Did we get him?!"
'Korosensei exploded, and now there's nothing left of him!' the delinquent observed. This all felt weird and unfulfilling with him only being an observer. If the octopus man was actually dead, he wouldn't really have a chance to redeem himself as an assassin. But he'd already compromised that he could accept his classmates being the one to kill Korosensei. And Nagisa was his friend, so Haruno felt happy for him instead. 'Looks like Nagisa got him!'
Karasuma wanted to make sure, remembering the yellow man's regenerative powers. "Don't let your guard down!"
The students kept watch of the water's surface. For some seconds nothing changed. Though then bubbles began popping up on the surface.
"Hey…"
A glass-like transparent orb emerged from below the bubbles. Well, the outer part was transparent. The inner core of the orb looked exactly like the octopus man's yellow head. Face included.
That face was smiling, but the faces of his students and colleagues were rather deadpanning.
'What is that?!' they all collectively thought, sweatdropping. 'He should be dead!'
"This is the last of my last resorts. The Ultimate Defensive Form." Korosensei proudly presented.
'The Ultimate Defensive Form?!'
"The transparent part on the outside is the crystallized form of my extremely condensed energy. I contract my flesh as much as possible. And with the excess energy resulting from that state I tightly fortify the area around my flesh." the yellow man explained. "While I'm in this form, I am truly invincible! Water, Anti-Sensei material, any and all attacks will be returned by this crystal ball."
Stuff like this made the octopus man look unkillable even after great effort like shown today. "…No way. Then, if you stay in that form, we can never kill you." That method seemed demoralizing.
"Actually, it's not that simple." the teacher said. "This energy crystal naturally collapses after about 24 hours. At that moment, my flesh expands and absorbs the energy to return to its original state."
"But on the downside, during the 24 hours before the crystal collapses, I'm completely incapable of any movement." Korosensei went on. "This entails various risks. What I fear the most is being stuffed into a high-speed rocket during that time, and being thrown off into some distant part of the universe. But I've thoroughly looked into this issue. There isn't a single rocket in this world capable of doing that within 24 hours."
'…He got us.'
Haruno didn't know whether he should laugh or get agitated. This guy had cheat powers! Admittedly he had cheat powers too, but it was still annoying.
'I jumped to conclusions too fast!' the blond thought. 'Nagisa must also be thinking about this.'
The bluenette looked down, feeling disappointed and dejected. He thought he'd assassinated the yellow man by stabbing through his chest… For some reason that wasn't enough! 'How?! Why?!'
Conveniently, the trapped octopus man focused on the petite boy, his almost-killer. He thought it'd be cruel to just leave the boy alone with this result.
"Nagisa-kun, I have to tell you this…" the teacher spoke up. His students lifted his head, looking at him. Nagisa's eyes were filled with discouragement. "Don't think of this as a failure!"
Hearing this, the bluenette's eyes widened for an instant. The feeling in his eyes also changed. They mostly showed how disheartened he was, though a bits of surprise and irritation were mixed in.
Everyone else carefully watched and listened.
"Your stealthiness… I've never encountered anything like this! I was so genuinely shocked when that knife went through my chest. I felt like dying! But I was also so proud of you, even after only the first semester you've become such a splendid assassin. I'm still very proud of you!"
Valid praise, but was that really enough to make Nagisa feel better?
"As your teacher, I won't lie to my students… Nagisa-kun, I positively confirm you have nearly killed me. But… your knife missed my heart by one centimeter. One more centimeter to the right, and I wouldn't be here anymore. You… you're very dangerous, you know."
In hindsight, saying that may have been worse. Sure, the bluenette got to learn about an important weakness of Korosensei, what he'd done wrong, and that he wasn't that far away from the yellow man anymore. Though… one centimeter! This was so, so stupid and unlucky.
"…" The petite boy wasn't in the mood to say anything anymore. He wordlessly left the assassination area and walked back to the hotel.
All his classmates, the blond delinquent aside, were too disappointed themselves to speak up against Nagisa's action. Everyone's wholehearted effort went down the drain, and it was so close. So depressing, so shockingly dumb and dull. One final heads-up speech from the octopus man commending their involment in the plan didn't really uplift them.
"Nagisa…"

Back at the hotel, Haruno stood by his friend. Just the two sat at a table.
"Time will fix this, Nagisa. You're not the only one who felt depressed. Remember how I called myself a failure of an assassin after the warehouse incident?"
He smiled to keep the atmosphere from becoming too negative, though the blond didn't expect the bluenette to immediately cheer up. The delinquent figured the petite boy felt similar to how he felt after killing Ghiaccio. Circumstances and reasons were different, but it was all about the same damn topic: assassination.
Sighing, Nagisa began tapping the table. "I know, but… This is just so stupid, and you know it." he muttered, devoid of enthusiasm. All the high spirits from the surfing hours transformed into the direct opposite.
"As I've said, time will fix this." Haruno said, trying to console and encourage his friend as best as he could. "You know, it's kinda lazy, but I'm gonna tell you what you said to me back then. Try again, assassinate Korosensei. Assassinate Korosensei at his strongest. He called you dangerous, and you're not gonna get less dangerous from here, are you? Try again and you WILL hit the right spot eventually."
"Well, I'm not gonna give up." the bluenette clarified, barely less discouraged. "I'm gonna train and fix this mistake because I never want to experience failure like this again. But seriously… I need a break. That was just so dissatisfying…"
Still, he appreciated the blond's kind words. "Thanks for your kind words, Haruno-kun." the petite boy thanked.
Meanwhile, something was odd. Most people around were oddly tired. This didn't escape the delinquent's notice.
"Uh, Nagisa, you see how everyone's unusually tired? This is strange." Haruno remarked, looking around. It looked concerning. "Hey, you need something else to focus on, right? To ease your mind. How about we investigate this?"
"…Sounds fine." Nagisa accepted. Placing his thoughts elsewhere would do him good.
The two stood up and walked around the room. Almost everybody was spacing out.
Passing by Rio, she spoke up. "Haruno-kun… Can I lean on your shoulder for a bit?"
She almost fell down, but the blond caught the blonde in his arms. "I wanna hurry up to my room and get changed already, but my body won't move at all…"
"Rio-san, you're burning up!" the delinquent called with a worried voice and expression, starting to sweat. She looked red, but not due to a blush. "What's happening to you?!"
Rio wasn't the only one showing strange symptoms. Okajima's nose suddenly began bleeding beyond the pervert nosebleed, mostly everybody else appeared to be on the verge of collapsing.
Compared to a minute ago, the bluenette was now completely alert. His eyes opened wide, he gritted his teeth. "Wh… What is this?!"
"This is bad!" Haruno shouted in shock, clenching his teeth. His sweating increased.
"Hey, you! Where's this island's hospital?!" the government agent loudly and impatiently questioned the receptionist.
"Eh… Well, this is a rather tiny island. We only have a small clinic, but the doctor on duty returns to another island at night. You would have to wait until 10 o'clock tomorrow for the boat…" the receptionist nervously let know.
Suddenly, his phone started ringing. The agent took a look at the display. Restricted Number
"Hey there, Teach. Looks like your cute little students are suffering quite a bit." a distorted voice greeted.
"Who is this? Are you the one behind this?" Tadaomi furiously demanded.
"Kukuku. Your intuition's not bad lately, Teach. It's an artificially produced virus." the villain started explaining. "It's not very infectious, but if it does infect you, it's over… The incubation period and development of symptoms can be different for each individual, but after a week, every cell in your body will be stunted and you'll soon be dead."
"Sorry to tell you this, but there's only one cure, and unfortunately I'm the only one that carries it. It would be a pain to give it to you, so… won't you come and take it yourself?" Karasuma's eyes widened and sweat rolled down his face. He was scared shitless about the sick students.
"You see the hotel on the mountain top, right? As for a present, you can bring me the bounty in that bag."
'Oh no… He's watching us!' Karasuma deduced, his concern greatly rising. He did in fact have something in a bag, the crystallized Korosensei orb.
"From the looks of things, it seems like half the class has been infected. Fufufu, not bad, not bad." the mysterious villain observed, proud of himself.
"I'm going to ask you one more time. Who are you?" the government agent questioned, his patience running thin.
"It doesn't matter who I am. Those kids aren't the only ones who are aiming for the 10 Billion bounty." he hid his identity. "I can blow up the antidote with the press of a button. If you don't keep us happy, the infected people won't be saved."
"…It seems you've thought this through." the agent hatefully hissed at the man's threat.
"This plan was built on the assumption of the situation where that octopus wouldn't be able to move. Now that he can't move, all the more reason for us to do as we please." the villain stated. "The 'Fukuma Island Palace Hotel' on the mountaintop, the top floor. Come here within the bounty in hand within an hour."
His instructions were clear. "But, you know, Teach, you seem pretty skilled, so you might be kinda dangerous, huh? Let's see… Among the students that can move, have the tall kid with the red suit bring it here. The front desk already knows the situation. If you come here obediently, we can trade the bounty and the antidote without a hitch. But, if you contact anyone on the outside, or if you're late by even a second, I'll destroy the antidote immediately."
Before hanging up, the villain didn't forget to mock them. "I have to thank you. You did well to corner that guy enough to make him incapable of moving. It's as if the heavens were on our side."
"…" Tadaomi's hands were shaking as he put his phone back in his pocket. Never before had he been this enraged. To have been fooled liked that… his pride hurt immensely. But more than that, he felt such an extreme hatred for the man who dared to hurt and threaten his students like that.
'FUCK!' he cursed inwardly, slamming the bag with Korosensei against a table, breaking it. 'This is a fucking disaster!'

As fast as he could, Karasuma passed all information on to the class. Everyone was shocked, in disbelief, livid, angry and so forth.
Time was limited, too. There were all sorts of details to worry about, like the virus. The blond volunteered to perform first aid to those affected.
[Ougon no tomodachi] applied a healing touch on everyone infected for a few seconds.
"I don't know anything about this virus since it's artificial, but I've given everyone a boost in life force. Your antibodies will fare better against the virus." the delinquent explained.
Among those infected were some of Haruno's closest female acquaintances, like Rio, Yukiko, Kirara and Hinano. They were so nice to him, so the blond especially hated to see them like this. "Please power through this, I promise I'll get the antidote and take revenge for you."
"We're already feeling better thanks to you." Yukiko weakly smiled.
"We believe in you, Haruno-kun. You can do it!" Kirara encouraged.
"I know you'll deliver justice." Rio faintly smirked.
"Easy, now, don't stress your bodies." The delinquent was legitimately worried about their health.
"Karasuma-sensei, please, tell us everything we need to know."
The government agent nodded, telling how that hotel was a meeting point for influental members of foreign and domestic crime organizations, the financial world and even the government. That hotel was under strict surveillance of private guards, and people would discuss illegal business and throw drug parties there. The police couldn't just carelessly lay a hand on them.
"So what do we do?! A bunch of people are gonna die at this rate!" Yoshida panicked. "We… we didn't come to this island to be killed?!"
"Isn't it obvious?" Haruno snarled, slightly clouded by hatred. He was taking command. "We're gonna raid that damn hotel, get the antidote and beat the shit out of the mastermind motherfucker! No objections, this is the only path! No giving in to their demands like cowards! They WILL pay!"
There were several things to say about this. The agent should've technically complained how he was supposed to be the one to decide the proceedings. The others should've voiced how risky it was to raid the enemy fortress without a plan. But this boy… his presence was the mightiest in the room, with this anger and the resulting determination, he would NOT accept any disagreement.
Everyone stayed quiet in front of the mighty presence. Though then… the blond started walking towards his room.
"Eh? Where are you going?"
"To get changed for the raid." the delinquent merely answered, not turning back his head. "I'll be back before 5 minutes. You all better be ready by then, too. Talk about plans."

4 minutes later, Haruno returned. His appearance changed completely. He switched suits from strawberry red to white with reverse black raindrop pattern. This new suit was buttoned, though the chest was open like his normal dark blue coat. His shoes changed as well, from strawberry red to elegant black. Those smooth-looking classy italian mobster shoes were even more elegant and expensive than the red shoes. The most notable change however was his hairstyle. The blond wasn't really a blond, he only dyed his hair. With the dye gone, the natural black color was visible again. His hairstyle returned to the usual medium-length unkempt one he rocked before the holiday trip.
Black-haired Haruno slammed his fist against his palm. "Are you ready to go?" the delinquent asked, a resolved look in his eyes.
"Yes!" everyone replied in an also resolved tone. But they weren't obeying out of fear, everyone actually agreed with him. The yellow man liked his determination, so he put in some good words for Haruno. With his help, the class had a plan now.
"Alright, let's give them hell!" the delinquent declared, leading the war march. The villains who dared toying with Class 3-E's lives were in big trouble.
Here we are, the end of this chapter. There are plenty of things I wanna talk about. The surfing part was my first attempt at writing 'filler'. Hope it wasn't boring with too much information about surfing. It's important to learn about writing something other than the direct main plot, so how was it? I chose surfing as the topic because no one I've met said they hated surfing, not even on the internet. It's also fun to surf with friends, which was my intention. To develop the bonds between Giorno, Nagisa and Karma with actual substance.
Other than that, I played with the idea of having Giorno look somewhat like his canon friends. Fugo and Bruno, but I toned down their JoJo fashion. Hope you're not mad about the lack of holes, strawberries and zippers.
Nagisa also played a big role today. He almost assassinated Korosensei, but… plot armor, hehe. Like, a big charm of fanfiction is to make characters stronger, but Korosensei can't die at this point yet. So~ frustrating. Still hoped you enjoyed this chapter regardless.
