Hadrian's Pov

I shot of running, Edward close behind me, weaving through the trees I saw my house before we passed through the wards, Edward passed through them as well, but then came to a stop, I stopped too and turned to look at him

"Well, you kept up." He nodded, a frown on his face

"Yeah, did you feel that?" I frowned at his question

"Feel what?"

"I don't know, as we passed through though those trees, I felt something, it, it tingled across my skin." My eyes widened when I realised he was talking about the wards around the house, but I quickly schooled my face

"I didn't feel anything." He raised an eyebrow, before nodding and looking over my shoulder

"You look to have people waiting for you." I glanced over my shoulder and saw Sirius stood there, arms crossed and a frown on his face

"That's one of my Godfathers, I live with them, do you want to meet him?"

"I'm not so sure I shoulder." Edward responded

"Hadrian, why don't you introduce me to your friend?" Siri called, I raised an eyebrow at Edward

"Siri isn't giving you much of a choice there." He chuckled

"I guess not." I turned and headed to the back door, Sirius stepped out of the doorway and shut the door behind him. Edward stopped next to me

"Siri, this is Edward, someone I met at school today, Edward, this is Sirius my godfather." Siri stepped forward and held his hand out to Edward

"Pleasure to meet you Edward." Sirius greeted, Edward grasped his hand and the shook hands

"Likewise, sir." Edward responded, and they let go hands

"Hadrian, Remus is upstairs with Teddy." Siri commented, I nodded with a grin

"Oh right, I get to read Teddy his story, um see you tomorrow Edward." I turned and waved bye at him and headed inside

"It's gonna be sunny tomorrow, you might want to avoid going to school." Edward stated, I stopped and turned back around to face him

"Seriously?" he nodded "Alright, I'll see you another day then." He nodded, and I headed inside, I went upstairs to Teddy's bedroom, to see Remus changing Teddy into his night clothes

"Hey Cub, good hunt?" Remus asked with his back turned to me

"It wasn't bad, I got my fill, and also confirmed some suspicions."

"What suspicions?" Remus asked as turned to place Teddy into his crib

"My classmate is a vampire, and probably most of his family too." Remus gave me a shocked look

"We live in a town that is inhabited by vampires?" I nodded

"But, judging by their eye colour, they feed off animals, just like I do."

"Well, that makes me feel more comfortable, do you want to read Teddy his story?" I nodded, Remus smiled and patted my shoulder as he left the room, I walked over to Teddy's crib

"Hi cub." Teddy yawned and rubbed his eyes

"'Arry."

"Let's read you your story." I stepped away from the crib and over to the bookcase, I pulled out a small story, knowing that he would be asleep by the time the first page was even read, I moved back over to the crib to see Teddy yawning, I leant against the crib and opened the first page "Once upon a time there was a girl called little red riding hood, she was known by this name for the red cloak she wore, her mother made it for her. One day she was taking cakes to her Granny, who was ill, her granny lived all the way at he other side of the forest." I glanced down at Teddy to see him fast asleep, I smiled and closed the book, I then pulled his blanket over him before leaning down and pressing a kiss to his forehead "Sleep well cub." I put the book back on the shelf and headed down stairs

"Sirius, what did you do that for?" Remus demanded, I frowned as I reached the bottom step and walked into the living room

"Because he likes our pup, so I told him that if he wanted anything to do with our pup, he has to do it properly." Sirius responded while sat on the sofa, Remus was stood in front of him

"Padfoot." Remus groaned

"What's going on?" they both turned their heads to look at me

"Sirius gave your new friend the shovel talk." Remus responded

"The shovel talk?" they both looked at me in shock

"You don't know what the shovel talk is?" Siri asked, I shook my head "Come sit down pup." I moved over and sat down next to Siri

"So, what's the shovel talk?" Remus perched on the edge of the coffee table

"The shovel talk is when you have a boyfriend or a date, and your family and or friends that care about you, step up and threaten them on your behalf, for if they hurt you, your family or friends will hurt them."

"Oh, why did you give it to Edward?" Siri looked at me with a raised eyebrow

"Because he likes you." Sirius responded blankly

"I only met him today, he can't like me that much."

"He does, I could see it in his eyes pup, I thought it was only right in my duty as your godfather to give him the shovel talk, so expect him to ask you out on a date sometime soon." Siri commented and sat back a smug look on his face

"You don't get to be smug about this Padfoot." Remus stated

"Why not? I did a good thing." Sirius responded

"You could have at least waited until he had actually asked Hadrian out on a date." Remus groaned

"It's alright, I didn't even know he liked me, that's going to be awkward at school now, I'm glad I don't blush anymore." Remus and Sirius chuckled

"We were planning on watching a movie, do you want to join us?" Remus asked, I shook my head

"I'm going to go grab a shower and burn these clothes in the back, then homework."

"Your burning those clothes? Finally, let me know when you're doing it." Siri commented

"Why?"

"Because I want to watch, I've wanted you to burn those for years, and now you're finally doing it, so I want to watch them burn." Siri responded, I nodded slowly

"O-Kay then, I'm gonna go have a shower."

"See you later cub." I nodded and made my way upstairs to my room, I opened the door and stepped inside only to jump when I saw a figure sitting on my bed, I quickly shut the door as the figure lifted their head, to reveal Edward

"What are you doing in my room? How did you even get in here?"

"Your godfather gave me the shovel talk." Edward commented, I sighed

"Yeah, he told me."

"He gave me the shovel talk." I frowned

"Yeah, you said that."

"I've never been given the shovel talk before, why would he give me the shovel talk?"

"Well, he thinks you like me." Edward looked up at me

"Really?" I nodded "He spotted that?"

"Wait what?" Edward stood from my bed and stood in front of me

"I do like you, like I told you earlier, I can't get enough of your scent, but I was going to wait a few days before asking you on a date, but it seems that the shovel talk your godfather gave me, mean he wants me to ask you sooner rather than later, but will you allow me a few days, like I originally intended?" I sighed

"Edward, I don't want you to ask me out just because Siri gave you the talk, for all we know my scent could be sending you crazy for a different reason, I could have been your singer when I was human and that's why my scent is driving you crazy."

"Nope, I've already met my singer." He responded, I sighed "Can I try something?" I raised an eyebrow

"Like what?" he took a step closer to me

"This." He took hold of my face and pulled it gently up, as his face came down to meet in the middle while our lips touched in a kiss. I felt my magic surge under my skin as I pressed closer to him, he pressed back just as hard pushing me backwards against the wall, I kissed him back hard, pushing him backwards, until the back of his legs hit my bed and he fell backwards, breaking the kiss he pulled me down on the bed with him, I landed on his chest.

"You know, I'm kinda glad I don't need to breath anymore."

"Me too." Edward responded with a chuckle

"Did you get the answer you wanted by you kissing me? Because I certainly did."

"You kissed back." He pointed out, I grinned

"I never denied it."

"But, yes I did, you're my mate." I grinned again

"And you're mine, well that's good at least we're compatible."

"I'd say we're more than compatible."

"Hmm, how did you get in my room anyway?"
