Hadrian's Pov
I cringed at Edwards tone and Teddy whimpered, I frowned and glanced over at Remus
"He's just hungry Cub, it is his teatime after all."
"Do you want a hand?" Remus smiled
"Will you hold him, while I make his tea?" I nod and stand from my chair, I move over to Remus and take Teddy from him,
"Hi, 'Arry." I smiled
"Hello Cub." He giggled and I sat back down in my chair
"What War Hadrian?" Edward asked again, I sighed
"The Wizarding War, the Second Wizarding War."
"The Second Wizarding War? I didn't know there was more than one." Carlisle said, Auror Bentham frowned
"You were around for the First Wizarding War?" Auror Bentham asked
"The one that crossed into America, with… what was his name…. oh, Grindelwald." Carlisle said,
"That's right." Auror Bentham said,
"The Second War, was a nightmare." Remus commented, with his back turned towards us, I sighed
"Hadrian?" Edward questioned
"It was a nightmare, one that I was slap bang in the middle of, one that I lived through." I then told Edward and Carlisle the story of the Second war, Remus adding parts to the story that I didn't know and Auror Bentham filled in what he knew. "Tom and I duelled, and my magic was strong enough to turn his killing curse back on so himself, therefore killing himself."
"You lived through all of that?" Carlisle asked, I nodded and looked down at Teddy, who giggled and changed his hair to, look like mine, I heard Edward gasp and say
"Oh, wow…that's pretty impressive." I shrugged and created some magical bubbles to float in front of Teddy, for him to play with, he reached out and touched one and it changed colour
"I'm just glad it's over with."
"Me too Cub, no more evil dark Lords after you." Remus commented
"Thank Merlin for that."
"We're all grateful about that, the World, not just the Wizarding World, but the whole world is safe because of you." Auror Bentham stated
"But how does any of this help us, with Bella?" Carlisle asked
"Well, we have two options, neither one include killing her." Auror Bentham said and Teddy Giggled, I grinned and looked down at him to see him holding one of the bubbles, making it change colour rapidly, I chuckled
"Cub, you're not meant to hold them." Teddy giggled again and squeezed the bubble, it popped and made a growling noise and Teddy laughed, reaching out to try and grab another
"So, what are our options?" Carlisle asked
"Well, first we have the memory charm, Obliviate, we can use it to wipe a part of her memory, the part that knows that you are vampires." Auror Bentham explained
"But, using the memory charm can be risky." Remus commented as he walked over, he lifted Teddy from my arms "Teatime Teddy." Teddy Clapped and said
"Tea, tea."
"Don't I know how Risky it can be." Remus raised an eyebrow at me, but I shook my head "A story for another time."
"How Risky?" Edward asked
"If used incorrectly, it would wipe her memories completely, she wouldn't remember anything, she wouldn't even know who she is, never mind anyone else." Auror Bentham explained
"And the other option?"
"An oath." Auror Bentham answered
"An oath?"
"A Wizards oath, once taken, the participants would not be about to speak about said topic, that being vampires, to anyone else, but the people in the oath, for instance, if Hadrian were to enter the oath with Bella, then neither Bella, nor Hadrian would be able to speak about vampires, except to each other, and those that know about the oath." Auror Bentham explained
"No offence, and I know I don't know her very well, but I don't want to enter an oath with her."
"Also, I'm not sure how affective that would be, as she would still be able to threaten me and my family, even if she wouldn't be able to do anything I would much prefer for her not to remember at all." Edward commented; Carlisle nodded
"I agree, so, shall we make a plan for when Bella returns?" Carlisle asked, Auror Bentham nodded, while Edward turned and faced me
"So, were you going to tell me about the War? Without any prompting?" I glanced around the room before looking back Edward,
"Let's go up to my room." He nodded and I stood from my seat and headed out of the room, with Edward following close behind. I led him up to my room and shut the door behind him, after he entered "Have a seat." He sat down on the edge of my bed and looked at me
"Well?" I sighed and casted a wand-less silencing charm around my room and sat down on my desk chair
"The War is a tough subject for me to talk about, I would have told you eventually, but a lot has happen for me to be able to be here, away from all that over there, all I've ever wanted was to have a normal life, with friends and my family, and I was never able to have any of that-"
Suddenly my bedroom door slammed open, Sirius and Professor Snape both stood there panting
"Well, I can see you two aren't doing anything inappropriate, so why the silencing charm Harry?" Sirius demanded, I rolled my eyes
"Because I wanted some privacy to speak to Edward about the War." Sirius face dropped into a concerned look
"Are you sure you're ready to talk about all that?" He asked, while Snape huffed
"Not like I had much of a choice."
"Can we just get to the reason we're actually here." Snape demanded
"Why are you here? You're meant to be in England overseeing the trail for my murder."
"You're murder?" Edward asked, I looked at him and shook my head
"I'll explain later." He nodded
"Dumbledore has a spell on you, he placed It on you after you were turned, it keeps a track of your health, he knows you're still alive, well, as alive as you can be when you're the walking dead-" Siri explained
"Get on with it." Snape interrupted
"Right, Dumbledore is going to use this spell to get the trial overturned." Siri said
"Is there any way to remove the spell?" Edward asked
"Potters death." Snape answered, I frowned and thought for a minute
"I'm sure I've read about a similar spell before, what was it called?"
"Harry, we don't have time for this, we had to change the charges against Weasley." Siri stated, I frowned again
"To what?"
"Attempted murder." Siri answered
"Either one of you want to explain how I'm going to pull this off?"
"The bubble head charm would have blocked out some of the poisonous gas in the stock room, only letting enough through to put you in a death like state, a coma, until today, you will need to reveal yourself as a vampire, otherwise, whether or not you had the bubble head charm, the gas would have killed you." Snape explained
"So, I need to go back to England, reveal myself a vampire just out of a coma, and press charges against Weasley myself?"
"You don't need to worry about pressing charges, the Trail has been moved to today, with the change of charges, we need to go, now." Siri demanded, I stood from my chair and headed out the door, with the trio following me all the way to the Floo. Where Remus and Auror Bentham we're stood waiting, Carlisle was stood by the living room window
"Are you all going?" Remus asked, I nodded
"Well, probably not Edward." Siri commented
"I'm going." Edward stated
"You'll be walking right into unknown territory." Carlisle said placing a hand on his shoulder
"Hadrian is my mate, I'm not going to let these people hurt him, if I can at least help stop them." Edward explained, I glanced over at him, to see him looking straight at me, I smiled at him
"Alright." Carlisle commented and stepped away
"I'll come along too." Auror Bentham commented and grabbed a handful of Floo powder and threw it into the fireplace yelling "MINISTRY OF MAGIC, LONDON, ENGLAND" then he stepped through the flames. Snape went next shouting the same thing, while Siri turned to me
"It might be better for Edward to travel with you, you have at least some grasp on this travel." Siri said, I nodded, and he stepped into the fireplace and yelled "MINISTRY OF MAGIC, LONDON, ENGLAND!" Then he disappeared, I took a hold of Edwards hand and pulled him into the fireplace, Remus held out the tub of Floo powder to me
"Are you sure this is safe?" Edward asked, I nodded
"Complete." I then yelled "MINISTRY OF MAGIC, LONDON, ENGLAND!" I then dropped the Floo powder and we disappeared from the fireplace, I briefly felt Edwards hand squeeze mind before we landed in the fire place at the Ministry of Magic in England, I stepped out of the Floo and managed to keep my balance for once, while Edward stepped out and fell straight on his face, almost pulling me down with him. I chuckled
"I still remember my first Floo travel experience, I ended up in completely the wrong place." I helped Edward to his feet, and he looked at me with a raised eyebrow
"Really?" I nodded and he shrugged
"Come on you two, it's this way." Siri commented and started to lead us to the courtroom. We hurried along as quickly as we could without breaking into vampire speed on mine and Edwards behalf anyway, but we managed to make it to the courtroom doors as the Auror was about to shut them
"Sorry, you can't come in now." He said, I growled in frustration and moved my hair to reveal my scar, the Auror gasped "Harry Potter? How is it possible?"
"You'll find out if you let us in the room." Professor Snape snapped, the Auror nodded and allowed us all into the room. We took seats quickly as the Minister started to talk
"Due to the change in charges, to Mr Ronald Weasley, you are now being charged with attempted murder, instead of murder of our beloved hero." The minister said
((Beloved hero?)) I heard Edward asked in his mind, I shook my head
{I'll tell you later, besides I'm sure after all this, I won't be their 'beloved hero' anymore} I heard Edward chuckle and rolled my eyes
"Now, let us proceed with the Trial." The Minister banged the gavel and Madam Bones stood from her chair
"Ronald Weasley, you are charged with attempted murder on Lord Hadrian James Potter-Black, how do you plead?"
"Not Guilty." Ron growled "That Traitorous Bastard deserved everything that he got!" I rolled my eyes as the crowd gasped in shock and horror
"Silence! Mr Weasley, you will refrain from making anymore comments like that or you will be placed under a silencing charm until you are required to answer questions." The Minister said as he banged him gavel, causing the room to go silent. I heard Ron growl under his breath, but nodded silently towards the Minister "Very well, please continue Madam Bones."
"There were several witnesses that saw you lock the potions classroom door and fled the room once a student revealed that Lord Potter-Black was still in the room after Professor Snape sealed the door, to prevent the fumes from causing more harm, what do you have to say to this?" She asked
"I didn't know the fumes would kill him, I though they just might give him a funny look, like a prank potion would." Ron responded, I shook my head and held onto Edwards arm to prevent him from getting up and attacking Ron.
((Why are you stopping me? He's lying!)) Edward roared, I looked at him
{I know he is, I was there, he knew it was harmful, but you attacking him won't do any good, apart from maybe getting you locked up, don't worry, he'll get him comeuppance, look at the thoughts from the people sat as the jury, they don't believe him, I'm well loved, not only that I'm from an ancient and Nobel family}

{He attempted to kill, A heir and Lord from an ancient and most noble house and bloodline, even if he is lying, I can request a truth serum, beside even if I don't, he won't get out of this easily, so you can calm down a little} Edward huffed
((I still don't like the little bastard, he can't shield his mind like you can, I can see into his mind)) I sighed
{Just don't look}
((Its hard not to, when his thoughts are broadcasting loud and clear)) I sighed and took a hold of his hand
{Then look into my mind, ignore him and focus on me, only me} he sighed, and I felt a mental poke against my barriers, I smiled and let my shields down to let him in, then I turned back to focus on the court, when suddenly Weasley lawyer stood up and stated
"Harry Potter is alive! The charges against my client are false." The lawyer said and Ronald Weasley looked rather smug, I sighed, and Sirius got to his feet and moved down towards the front
"Lord Black, is there something you wish to say?" the minister asked
"This boy knew exactly what he was doing, he attempted to kill my godson, while it is true my godson is alive, that is only for two reasons." Sirius said
"And what are those?" Madam Bones asked
"While some of you may not like this, my godson Hadrian, was turned into a vampire at the end of the war." There were gasps of horror and outrage from the courtroom. The minister banged the gavel
"Silence!" He demanded
"Please continue Lord Black." Madam Bones said, Sirius nodded
"The fumes from the potions cupboard, placed my Godson into a coma, one he awoke from today, and that was only because he had the common sense to place a bubblehead charm around his head, while it did not stop all the fumes, it stopped just enough to only place him into a coma." Sirius explained
"Lord Black, is Lord Potter here with you?" The minister asked
"Yes, Hadrian, will you come down here please." Sirius asked, turning to look up at me, making everyone turn to look at me too, I huffed
"Mind your own business." I hissed and they all turned back, I squeezed Edwards hand and let go, standing to my feet, I made my way down to stand next to Sirius at the bottom of the stairs, who in turn wrapped an arm around my shoulders
"As you can see, Hadrian is here, and he is a vampire." Sirius said
"But the smoke wouldn't have any effect on his anyway, he doesn't need to breathe." Ronald stated angrily, I rolled my eyes
"Just because I don't need to breathe anymore, does not mean the smoke didn't affect me, that smoke was a deadly gas that would have killed any living thing or person, including the undead as well, if I hadn't thought about casting the bubble head charm on myself, I probably wouldn't be standing here today."
"If I might ask Lord Potter, what do you feed from? What is your diet?" The minister asked
"I drink animal blood, it is the only thing that I have drunk since I awoke as a vampire, I have not drank a single drop of human blood."
"Never?" The minister asked, I shook my head
"He's still a dark creature! I don't get why you're siding with him, he's dark, he deserves to be locked up not treated the same as us normal people, he's supposed to be our saviour, but now he is just as bad as The Dark Lord!-" Ronald yelled only to be put under a silencing charm as he continued his rant
"You were warned Mr Weasley." The minister said, slipping his wand away
"Lord Potter, you must be in a great deal of pain, to be surrounded by all of us but smelling our scents and hearing our blood pumping." Madam Bones said, I shook my head
"Not really, Human blood doesn't call to me."
"What do you mean?" The minister asked
"Human blood doesn't appeal to me, I have smelt it before, but it does nothing to me, hence the reason I could blend into large crowds quite quickly after the war ended."
"Well then, Lord Potter since you are the victim in this case, is there anything you would like to request?" The Minister asked, I nodded
"I know that Ronald Weasley intentionally tried to kill me, and I would like to prove this to you all, I request he be placed under Veritaserum." There was some discussion amongst the Wizengamot, before the majority began to nod
"Very well Lord Potter, Ronald Weasley will be questioned under Veritaserum please return to your seats." Madam Bones said, I nodded to her in Thanks and headed back up to my seat with Sirius at my side. I sat down next to Edward, who immediately took my hand into his and used his other hand to turn my head towards him
((You are never being that close to that boy again, how you were ever friends with him I'll never know)) I grinned
{Well, you would have known eventually, as I would have told you about my past and history with him, his family and my other ex-friend Hermione}
((I'm not sure I want to know, but I'll tell you what I do what to know, his head kept swimming about a marriage contract between you and his little sister, got any comment for that?)) I rolled my eyes
{Don't worry about it, honestly, it was completely dissolved and was never going to happen anyway, I don't and have never like her that way, so you don't need to worry}
((I worry because I don't want to lose you after I've found you, so please tell me that I'm not going to lose you?)) I gave him a gentle look
{You're not going to lose me Edward, I no longer live in London, I live in Forks with you, with my uncles, I'm not looking at returning here, Edward ease your worries, I'll be with you forever and a day} he chuckled quietly
((Forever and a day? I'll hold you to that you know))
{I know you will} we then turned back to listen to the case, as Ronald had already been dosed with the Veritaserum and Madam Bones was asking all the questions
"What is your name?" She asked
"Ronald Billius Weasley." Ronald responded and a dull tone
"What is the name of your father?" She asked
"Arthur Weasley." He responded and Madam Bones nodded
"Mr Weasley, on the day in question did you attempt to harm Lord Potter?" She asked
"Yes." There were shocked gasps across the court room
"Explain to us how you attempted to harm Lord Potter."
"I saw him go into the potions cupboard and pulled a herb, from my bag, Hermione told me that if I mixed the herb with the ingredients we were using to make that potion, it would turn into a deadly enough gas to kill him."
"And who is 'him'?" Madam bones asked
"Harry James Potter, if he hadn't been a vampire it would have worked, and we would have got everything from him."
"Everything Mr Weasley?"
"His title, his money, everything his family ever owned, we deserved it after following him into dangerous situations all these years." Ronald responded
"What was the name of the Herb you used?"
"I can't remember." Madam bones sighed and nodded to the Auror stood next to Ronald
"Give him the antidote." She ordered, the Auror nodded and gave the potion over
"Is that it?" Edward asked quietly, I shrugged
"Pretty much, they received all the information they needed with the Veritaserum now the Wizengamot will go into a time bubble and decide on a conviction." Auror Bentham said
"Time bubble?" Edward asked, Auror Bentham nodded
"It's a space of time, magic created for long or sensitive cases as such as this, with Lord Potter being such a high profile figure in the wizarding world, this case becomes highly sensitive because his past best friend tried to kill him, and as was just revealed why, I don't expect them to be in the time bubble very long." Auror Bentham explained, Edward nodded
"Well, lets hope the Wizengamot see sense to send him where he deserves to go, and Granger too, she played a part in this." Professor Snape commented.
