Chapter 9 Captain Marvel

"The next film we are going to watch, is Captain Marvel." said Serendipity
Carol Susan Jane Danvers is a former United States Air Force pilot who, upon being exposed to the energy of the Tesseract via the destruction of the Light-Speed Engine, obtained cosmic powers. She gained further powers when she was made into a Kree-human hybrid via a blood transfusion from Yon-Rogg and had all of her old memories removed, turning her into the Kree's weapon and a member of Starforce.
"Sorry, what?" said Tony "I am a certified genius and I do not understand this…"
"That's Major Danvers, she was my Commanding Officer when I was a rookie in Boot Camp in the Air Force. She was cool. She was very nice, she was really supportive and she encouraged me to work hard and to reach my potential. There was some noise about me being ineligible for promotion due to the colour of my skin but Major Danvers told me to ignore it, keep my head down and work hard. It's thanks to her that I made it to Lieutenant Colonel." I replied
"All right but what are Skrulls?" Tony queried
"I have no idea" I replied
Now operating as Vers, she was captured by Skrulls during the Kree-Skrull War, resulting in her returning to Earth and beginning to recall her past, with help from Nick Fury and Maria Rambeau. Vers subsequently discovered that Yon-Rogg and the Kree Empire had been manipulating her for years, learning from Talos that the Skrulls were merely seeking to find a new home.
"I still have no idea what is happening" Tony grumbled
"Most of us don't, Tony" I replied
With this information, Danvers, rejecting her Vers persona, unlocked her true powers and defeated the Kree invasion onto Earth that was being led by Ronan the Accuser, before setting off out to the far reaches of the galaxy to finish what her late mentor Mar-Vell had previously started, honouring her by becoming known as Captain Marvel.
"Gee, good for her but it still does not explain anything." Tony said very sarcastically
"What do you have to say for yourself Ms Danvers?" Fury asked sternly. A skinny blond girl with bright blue eyes threw her head right back and laughed.
"Fury got his eye clawed out by a cat/flerken named Goose." she guffawed.
"Why are you revealing my secrets?" Fury demanded
"Because it was funny!" Carol giggled
"Mother-flerken!" Fury exclaimed
"You said that at the time" said Carol
"OK if anyone needs to use the restroom please do so now. The next film we are going to watch is… Iron Man 1"
"WHAT?" Tony yelled
"Yeah, it's all fun and games until you're the one on the receiving end isn't it Stark?" Rogers teasd
"Shut UP Rogers!" Tony replied "I am not in the mood for your gloating, so put a damn sock in it!" Pepper conjured a stinky sweatsock and stuffed it into Rogers' mouth. Tony grinned at her.
