"I understand Hadrian, I don't sleep we've got all night, and I've waited for you for a lifetime, I think I can wait until you're ready to tell me." I chuckled
"I know, I can tell you most of it, but other parts I'm still a bit sore about." he nodded
"I can wait, until you're ready to tell me." I smiled at him
"I appreciate that, you don't know how much." he smiled, and I started to tell him some of my past, right up until the part about faking my own death "And here we are now."
"And that's the shortened version?" Edward asked, I nodded
"Yeah, when I'm more comfortable I'll tell you more."
"That fine Hadrian, I want you to be completely comfortable with me, so whenever you're ready to tell me that fine." I nodded
"Thank you, well its late, you better head out." He nodded and got to his feet
"Will you be in school tomorrow?" Edward asked, I shrugged
"I think so, but it depends on whether or not the sun makes an appearance again." He chuckled
"Alice hasn't told us of the sun making another appearance this week, so I'll see you in a few hours, I'll pick you up." I shook my head at him
"I am capable of driving myself."
"I know, but I want to pick you up." Edward insisted
"Edward, people at school already are spreading rumours about us dating, which isn't good, because they all think you are still with your singer, I said before that we needed to wait, and now we need to even more so." He sighed and stepped closer to me and placed his hands on my hips
"But I don't want to Hadrian, I want to be with you, I need to be with you." I placed my hands on his shoulders
"I know, and I want to me with you too, and it hurts knowing that I cant have you right now, but if the teenagers at school found out and told your singer, it might make it more difficult for the Aurors to perform the memory spell, its best to wait for now." He sighed again and placed his forehead against mine, and looked directly into my eyes
"Okay, but could I at least kiss you? For tonight, I don't know if I'll be able to manage without it." Edward said, with a little pout, I chuckled
"Teddy can do a better pout than that." Edward pulled his head back and grinned
"Well, who am I to compete with a toddler then." I smiled
"A goodnight, Kiss, will that suffice for you?"
"Will it for you?" I nodded "Then a goodnight kiss, I will agree to." And with that he leant down and placed his lips over mine, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer. He pressed his lips against mine and I felt my magic surge through my veins, I pressed closer to Edward and I felt his tongue press against my lips, wanting an entrance. I opened my mouth and his tongue darted inside, roaming my mouth, and exploring it, I felt my magic start to dance under my skin and I moan as his tongue come into contact with mine, but just as I was about to respond to him, he pulls back, moves his lips off mine and moves his head so his mouth is by my ear.
"I love that sound you just made." He whispered into my ear
"Yeah? Then why did you stop?" he chuckled
"Because I wouldn't have been able to stop myself if we'd carried on." He confessed, I chuckled "Besides, we've not had our first date yet." I smiled at him as he pulled away and looked into my eyes "I intend on taking you out on a date Hadrian, once this is all over."
"I'll hold you to that Edward, for now though, we'll have to say goodnight." He smiled and leant down to place a kiss on my cheek
"Goodnight Hadrian." And then Edward was gone. I huffed
"Tease." I shook my head and closed the back door, before locking it and activating the wards on the house, making sure we were well and truly secure. Then suddenly I heard the Floo activate, I frowned and listened for any sort of movement
"Hadrian?" I heard Sirius call, I sigh and make my way into the living room, to see Sirius' head bobbing in the fireplace "Hey pup"
"Siri, what can I do for you at this time of night?"
"Is everyone else asleep?"
"Yeah, Remus went up about an hour or so ago, Teddy before that." He nodded
"What were you doing down here then? I thought you'd be in your room by now."
"I was talking to Edward in the kitchen."
"What were you talking about?"
"The shortened version of my life story leaving out all the gory details." He chuckled
"I know you didn't have a choice in telling him pup," Siri said, looking saddened, I shrugged
"It's fine, he took it well, he took going to the Wizarding World well too, he kind of just jumped in headfirst." Siri chuckled again
"And wanted to tear Dumbledore apart too."
"I don't blame Edward for that, if it wouldn't put me in a bad image, I'd probably tear him apart too." Siri laughed "You laugh, but I'm being serious."
"I know pup, I know all too well, which is why I'm glad to have you with me at home." I sighed
"When are you coming home Siri?" Sirius sighed
"Not yet, pup, I still need some time, to work through my thoughts and my feelings, because I don't know what I'm going to do with myself now that I know Remus doesn't really return my feelings for him… But that's really not for you to be worrying about, you've definitely got more on your plate at the moment." Siri said, giving me a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes, I gave him a small smile back
"Yeah, before we had to come for the trail, we worked out the best course of action would be for the ministry to remove the singer's memory of the Cullens being vampires."
"Don't they have to get special permission to be able to do that?" Sirius asked, I shrugged
"I'm not sure, I'll get in touch with the Ministry tomorrow, after school." He nodded
"Alright, well pup, I'm gonna go, let me know how everything goes." I nodded
"I will, but don't stay away too long." He grinned
"Alright, bye pup." Then the Floo disconnected, I got to my feet and checked the wards around the house, they were fully intact, and all the doors were locked. I then made my way upstairs and checked on Teddy, he was fast asleep, snuggled up to the stuffed grim dog toy, I smiled sadly and quietly closed the door,
I walked into my room and closed the door, I then decided to read to pass the time, until morning.
