Voices began flooding in Danny's ears, causing him to come out of his unconsciousness.

"He had saved my life, Fright Knight, and you will do as I say, for I am your king!" His other self said.

"But, your Majesty, he is not from our world -"

"Yes, I know. I just have let him down easy -"

"Like a dog?" Danny asked, already sitting up from the bed. He could only guess he was in his other self's world, probably the Ghost Zone.

The three didn't speak, not that Danny wanted to talk. He was rightfully angry at other self for stupidly creating this mess.

He was angry at himself for feeling the need for help. And loneliness...

The quiet was killing him, so Danny decided to speak.

"Assuming that I'm in the Ghost Zone of your world, I better hope you're not going to hold me hostage, or I'll smack that crown off your head..."

Taken aback, his other self shook his head.

"Of course not! I'll send you back after I explain some things to you -"

"Wait, what day is it?" Danny suddenly asked, panicking.

"It is Monday, youngly-"

"MONDAY?! I MISSED SCHOOL!" Danny shouted, trying to push his other self and the Fright Knight of this world.

"Calm down, youngly! Your world is safe as the king had paused time - goodness, gracious, how strong are you?!" Fright Knight asked, struggling to pull Danny.

"See?! This is why I chose him, stupid knight!" Other self said.

Danny stopped struggling and looked directly at his other self.

"Chose me?" He asked, suspicious.

"Yes, as you had saved me, I have chosen you. I gave you some of my powers in case you can protect yourself. If not, then I can come in to save you."

"I'm not a damn damsel in distress!" Danny snarled.

"Obviously not acting like one," Fright Knight said, causing both Dannys to stare at him coldly.

"Shut up, stupid knight," They said, making Fright Knight sigh.

"I can see now why you chose him, my king," He said, scratching his head.

"King? I figured you were not human entirely, but king?" Danny said, turning towards his other self.

"It's a long story, one that I'll tell once you can be trusted -"

"But you gave me powers," Danny interrupted.

Other Danny paused.

"Well, yes. Thats true-"

"Therefore, you already trusted me when you gave me powers."

Other Danny's eye twitches, something that Danny's familiar with.

"I think I'm already starting to regret it..."

Danny covered his mouth to prevent them from seeing his smile.

"OK. New deal - I'll tell you once we get to know each other better," Other Danny proposed.

"Cool. I can live with that."

'Just like him...' Fright Knight thought, shaking his head.

"For now, let me show you where you'll be sleeping amongst where you'll receive food or where you can play video games or -"

"Wait, you have video games here?" Danny asked, surprised to hear that modern technology was here.

"Of course? I'll get bored if I have nothing better to do." Other Danny's huffed.

"But, my king, you do have responsibilities regarding the kingdom -"

"Fright Knight, be quiet, will you?"

Danny sheepishly smiled as he saw his other self scolding Fright Knight like a child.

'Which is weird, honestly...'

"Honestly, how is it that you both are such uniquely powerful beings who act like typical teenagers?"

"We are teenagers; at least, I am..." Danny mentioned, not wanting to offend his other self.

"I am a teenager still. Sixteen, to be precise..."

"Same here. Junior at my school."

"Casper High?"

Danny nodded, and the other Danny sadly sighed.

"Used to be my school before..."

"Oh..."

A solemn quiet appeared. Fright Knight walked away, and Danny turned to see his other self's face. Now that Danny saw it, he looked around his age despite his powers.

"Can I call you King?" He randomly asked, and his other self looked at him.

"As a nickname so that we won't get confused with each other, assuming we're both Danny," Danny quickly clarified.

After a pause with a stare, his other self smiled. A genuine smile, mind you.

"I mean, it makes sense. C'mon, I have to show you where we can chill," King said, and they walked.

Unbeknownst to Danny, King didn't actually stop time. He only slowed it down...

"Has anyone seen Danny?"Dash asked Paulina while eating his burger.

"No idea," she said. Both Star and Kwan shook their heads.

"Shit, he's going to miss a test, knowing that he's becoming really good at it," Dash panics a bit.

"Dude, it's Saturday," Kwan mentions.

"Still, Fenton never misses a study session. That's the only reason that I haven't wailed him up!"

"Yeah, 'wailed him,'" Paulina air quotes.

Dash was about to comment but stopped himself. While it was true that Fenton and he had ended the "bully-and-bullied" phase, he hadn't been fully okay with the studies at first. He was rather insecure about Fenton telling the entire school—hell, even his idol Phantom!

However, though he had a right to, Fenton didn't do any evil deeds. Instead, he helped Dash out a lot, eventually becoming Danny to him.

"Still, Fenton isn't one to lack studying after...that," Dash said, which everyone knew what it implied.

The A-Listers saw Danny's old group break up, and while they cheered for Phantom, they aren't exactly friendly with Manson and Foley.

It was hard on Danny since they got to know him better, so they decided that they were going to be his new friends (even if he turned evil)

"He's cool. I really enjoy his nerdy personality whenever he talks about stars and stuff," Kwan commented, and the others agreed.

While some might see Danny as annoying, the A-Listers thought that he's a puppy: Cute but a biter, alright.

"Hopefully, he comes back in time for the test. It'll really depend on his life."

"And mine!" Dash added, making everyone groan.

'Hope Danny's doing ok...'
