We weren't at the studio anymore. My head hit the ceiling, bouncing me back to the floor. The plastic body jostled around. Not that it matters, I'm so fucking pissed.

The car jostled to a stop. We rolled back in the trunk. Her body hit mine, which was the only way I knew she was in this trunk with me. We're both just going to suffer now. Her more than me, hopefully. Still. Slamming into the trunk hurts, even in a body as plastic as this.

Someone opened the trunk. "There you go. Did you sleep well? You must've been exhausted." Asked the most polite British genderfluid kid in the world.

I popped my head up. "Wonderfully!" My sister grumbled. "Shut the-"

"Oh! Is your sister well?" Glen asked.

I clenched my teeth. Yep. Yeah. "Great! She's great. She's so fucking great."

"Good! I'm so glad we both reunited with our families." Glen cheered. He's very sweet and caring. He's just a six year old with dreams and a heart.

I'm not.

"We made it to Jennifer Tilly's house. My mummy and daddy are taking us inside." Glen explained. He squealed, clapping his little hands. "We get to be a family!" He scurried off.

I dragged myself out of the trunk. Darcy lifted her head, confused and groggy.

"What-"

I grabbed her hair, dragging her out. Darcy gasped to scream so I slapped my hand over her mouth. Darcy continued to scream. My palm suppressed most of it. Still also holding her hair and now her head, I dragged her to the house.

The garage was empty. I threw Darcy across the room.

She caught herself in the landing. "Fuck, you put us in the trunk?"

"Chucky and Tiff did." I replied. "It's what I asked. Speaking of, I'm going to kill you."

Darcy reached her hands for her pockets.

Glen turned to his parents. "Wait, what happened to our friends?"

"The girls are fine!" Tiff assured him. She waved off the concern for them. "Sometimes sisters need to work things out on their own. Okay? Just leave them."

"Oh. Okay." Glen glanced back the way they came. "I guess that's true. Morgan was so excited she fainted! I almost did when seeing you!"

"Right! So leave them alone." Chucky grumbled.

Darcy threw another wrench at me.

I dodged, taking it from the floor.

"You RUINED IT!"

"Yeah? Yeah? What did I ruin?" Darcy grabbed a screwdriver. She tossed it.

"MY PLAN!" I snatched it mid air. "TIME IS GONNA STOP IN EQUESTRIA! IT'S ONLY BEEN TWENTY MINUTES- THEY'RE GONNA BE MORE THAN READY FOR ME!"

"Good. Let them. They'd stop your shitty idea." Darcy snarked.

I laughed. "Wow."

"It was." Darcy grabbed a hammer, throwing it.

I ducked. "HEY! THAT'S A HAMMER!"

"YEAH AND?!" Darcy grabbed another one.

I frowned, ducking behind the car. "Why does Jennifer Tilly have two hammers?"

"I don't know- maybe she throws them in people's houses!" Darcy replied. "She's WEIRD!"

The second hammer clattered at my feet. I grabbed it, ducking below the car.

This fucking limo was almost fucking touching the ground, so I couldn't hide on the under carriage. I managed to hide myself behind a tire.

Darcy bent down. Her eyes brightened. "I found you."

I threw the hammer. It hit her face.

"OW! You bitch!"

"Creep shit, get hit!" I rolled from under the car.

"OW! Piece of shit! Fucking bitch. SO unfair!"

The hiding spots were few in this place. Instead of looking for something low, going up would be a better action.

Darcy started her search. She kept her gaze low to the ground, trying to spot me there. A lone wrench sat on the floor. She picked it up, tilting it in confusion.

I jumped off the car.

Darcy growled out a scream. The wrench fell from her hands, toppling across the floor.

I started hitting her face. She slapped my hands, trying to get them off.

"You're dead- You're dead- You are so dead!"

"Been there, done that!" Darcy snarked. She tried moving her hips and legs, trying to buck me off.

My grip tightened on her wrists, pinning them to the ground. My free hand slapped her face. "I need to leave! Get it?! I need to leave! You've always told me off for not leaving that house!"

"Yeah, except he could use the family for leverage to get you back!" Darcy grunted. She rubbed her cheek. "Fuck, why did you get the superhuman doll strength?"

I hit her again. "He's not going to kill them-"

Darcy widened her eyes. "Have you forgotten how crazy people think?!" She lifted her leg, kicking my hip with it.

It knocked me back. So I used the momentum to hit her again. "I never can!"

Darcy bit my arm. I grunted, but kept it in place. My heart races. A real living heart in my chest, that's a great sign. She growled.

"Think about it! Really think!" I snapped.

She spat me out. My arms moved, but still kept her down. My living body did the rest of the work. "I did! You'd run. He'd go after your family. He's gonna set up a trap with them! It's foolproof!"

"Yeah, except he already did that." I replied. "Remember? Your niece?"

Darcy paused. "...yeah but these are your parents."

I scoffed. "You think that'd change anything?"

Darcy shook her head. "You would go to save them. You think you won't, and that's the dumbest part." Darcy replied. "You won't just leave. You've never been able to let them go. Fuck, you let the thought of them follow you everywhere. If some fuck was gonna kill 'em, you're first in line to save their asses."

"He won't kill them because he wants everyone to blame me for it!" I replied, scoffing at her.

The solution she offered was so good, so sweet. It's almost naive compared to the truth. Dominic Chamberlin has gotten away with murder for my entire life. He has the police force in his pocket. Killing me is- pardon the pun- child's play.

That's not satisfying him. That doesn't help. He didn't just kill Delilah. He took over every single thing she left behind. I ruined it. He needs to ruin me.

"Killing me in a home invasion won't make me the bad guy. I'll be a missing person at best, and a 'presumed dead' at worst. He wants my reputation inescapably dead too."

"Why?! What would THAT do?" Darcy tried again to pry my hands off her.

"Because he hates me! And when we hate people, we don't want anyone else thinking they're the good guy!" I snapped. "How many people did he involve in my kidnapping? Huh? How many? I can tell you. Six. Because that's how many were at my school after they took my daughter. He took my kid after I just talked to his because-"

"-because his daughter couldn't see him as the good guy anymore." Darcy realized. She slumped. Her body gave up the fight. "Fuck."

"Yeah."

"So she's-"

"In danger, yeah obviously."

"And your parents are too high profile. He waited until they left school to start shooting."

"Yep."

"He has to kill you, and it has to ruin you." Darcy replied. "How? How could he do it? What's he waiting for?"

I shrugged. That's the only thing that has me at a loss. It doesn't matter. Leaving town is the only response.

Darcy stared at me, then shook her head. "How are you always catching the crazy ones?"

"I'm just as insane, probably, 'cause my revenge plots are mostly along the same lines." I said. "Remember? That's why we even talked to his kid- so she'd back up our story of her dad torturing me so we could kill him. It's why you haven't killed me yet."

Darcy shook her head. "That's not why I haven't killed you."

"What? Why not?"

"You're already self imploding. You want me to kill you. Why the fuck would I kill somebody that's-" She paused, making a face of disgust. "I won't kill somebody that wants to be a martyr. I kill people that suck."

"Right, but you won't kill the bitch that sucks."

Darcy frowned, rolling her eyes. "What about the kid? Nobody can make her hate you."

A beat.

"It's why you were going back to Equestria. For her." Darcy replied. "Then- wait why were.."

I sat back. Darcy sat up, gawking at me.

"You asked Pinkie to babysit." Darcy realized.

"Yes I did."

"You told your dad that Lilac's aunt was going to watch her."

"I did that too."

Darcy continued to stare at me. Her eyebrows crinkled, her frown deepened. She grabbed my shoulders.

"What?" I asked.

"I'm trying to figure out what's more realistic." Darcy admitted. "You lying to Pinkie Pie, or you telling your dad the truth."

I shrugged. She squeezed tighter.

"Okay. Answer this good. How stupid are you?"

"I am not-"

"-because there's no way I am watching her alone. No way. You're the single mother." Darcy snapped. "That kid would literally never get over it. She's a dragon, and you are her mother. I'm not your replacement."

"If my charge is child engagement, will you kill me then?" I asked.

Her line in the sand has always been clear cut. Why is there such trouble with it this time?

"I'm supposed to keep you from going on suicide missions." Darcy argued. "From leaving my niece motherless."

I scoffed. "Coming from the woman that made herself motherless? Big words."

"Yeah and look how I turned out." Darcy gestured to her doll body, then mine.

My smile came wide and curled. "You always were a brat."

She punched me in the face. I yelped.

Darcy pulled her fist back. Blood was on her knuckles.

Both of us groaned.

"Heartbeat?" Darcy checked. Her tone shifted to business mode.

I nodded. "Lungs?"

Darcy wiped her bloody knuckles on her doll dress. "Feels more like…liver. Kidneys." She rubbed the knuckles over her side. "Tiffany had a full set of lungs. Immediately. Usually it takes a couple days for that kind of organ growth."

"Glen was determined to have parents." Sitting up, I straightened up my outfit. "I was determined to have a sister."

Darcy hummed. Her fingers tapped her hip. "Well. Chances of Jennifer having Quadruplets?"

I shook my head. "Don't worry. Got a plan Or five."

Darcy considered it. She shrugged. "Fine. Pause our shit to fix their shit?"

That got me up on my feet. "It's the family motto for a reason!"

Later that week

Jennifer was screaming. The nurse came into the room, screaming too. Tiffany and Glen/Glenda were hidden nearby.

Darcy and I ducked behind another hallway couch. Two nurses and a doctor rushed by without another glance. Let them find the odd family, save the kids and everything.

So I nudged her shoulder. "Hey. What's my favorite room in a hospital?"

Darcy grinned, chuckling. "The morgue."

I chuckled too. "Think an LA morgue has two bodies no one will notice?"

That made her burst out laughing.

DMLE=

Earth

The room was cold. It's much better than the sunny days of LA. That isn't saying much, but I appreciate this a whole lot more.

My bed was even cozier than before. To feel it with my very real human skin is a perk. Feeling somebody else in the bed was nightmare fuel that got my heart pumping.

Peeking my eyes open, the other person was also lying down, also had real human skin, and was also looking at me with a single open eye. This eye was purple. That didn't calm me down. Didn't calm her down either.

Darcy shot up, hands going to my shoulders. I stood stilll for her. Somebody squeaked behind us. The glow of a movie screen was also there too so I ignored the squeak. Darcy gripped my throat, so I grabbed her wrist and squeezed.

Stalemate.

Her eyes narrowed, and eyebrows curled up. "I can survive a broken wrist."

"To your favorite knife hand?" I countered.

Darcy hummed. "Still can take your throat."

Considering that, I grinned. I can get her to let me go with one simple trick. It's underhanded, diabolical, and rude. She would applaud me when this is done. "Choke me daddy."

Darcy immediately recoiled away. Rolling off my body, she shook her hand like it was oily and cursed. She gagged. "You suck. You suck so much. I hate you. Sex threats are my thing! Don't take my stuff-!"

I sat up on the bed. My throat wasn't even sore. The TV continued to glow, only with two very distinct shadows outline around it. "Don't be such a- Hello!"

Lilac stood in front of the TV, yes. The screen was actually showing a Disney Junior show. My baby brother stood beside her, blocked by her arm. Junior gawked at myself and at Darcy.

"22!" I yelped, hitting Darcy's arm.

She moved out of my reach, not out of my sight. Darcy instead waved at the two kids. "Niece! Bro! Wassup?"

Lilac grew a blinding smile. Direct hit to the heart, it's her best attack. "Auntie-! Junior, this is my aunt!"

"Aunt?" Junior repeated. "That's Moggy too."

"Yep!" Darcy replied. I jumped at her. She shoved me down on the bed. "I'm Darcy. I'm also your big sister!" I mumbled and growled into the mattress. Darcy squeezed tighter.

"Like a twin?"

"Yep! Exactly!"

"I want one!" Junior said. "Mommy! MOMMY!"

The door opened.

I grabbed her wrist, applying pressure to her joint. Darcy yelped. I rolled off the bed, charging at Junior. Darcy tackled me.

"I WANT A TWIN TOO! MOMMY!"

So I raised my head. "You psycho!"

"Pervert." Darcy taunted.

I elbowed her stomach. She stumbled off me. "You need help."

"I know you are, but what am I?" She stuck her tongue out at me.

Lilac shifted in her spot. "I'm glad you're both okay?"

So I kicked Darcy again. "Me too! Help me lock your aunt in the closet."

Lilac giggled. Why does she think this is a joke?!

Darcy grabbed the back of my shirt. "Of the two of us-"

"Shut up!" I hit her face.

She slapped me back. The two of us just started slapping the other in the face and arms.

"See! See! I want one!" Junior said.

Darcy and I turned to the door.

Mom stood there, jaw dropped.

"Hi Mom." Darcy cooed.

I smacked a hand over her mouth. "You're hallucinating! Time for a midday nap!" Darcy bit me. She also shoved her knee into my gut. "OW!"
