Richard and Rancis both walked out of the penthouse. As they left the door, James looked up, "So... is.. it always dark here?" He asked.

Rancis closed the door behind him. "Yeah. Their game takes place at night, so... that leaves it dark all day," They both walked together to the station. Richard sighed as he tagged along, just being his crush. He shoved his hands in his pockets as they walked around the right corner of the penthouse. Soon, they reached the cars. Richard stepped up on the elevated platform. Rancis went to the front. Richard watched as he walked towards the car. He was still very nervous, so he just sat in the last car.

Rancis blinked. "Richard? Where are you?" He looked to the left of him, had a confused expression, then he looked behind him. "I-..." He blinked. "What are you doing all the way back there?" He asked.

"Uh..." Richard muttered.

"At least come a little closer! Geez," Rancis said, then faced forward.

Richard blinked, then he scooted out of the car and walked along the platform to get to the front of the train. He then slid into the car behind Rancis. As soon as his butt hit the chair, the train jolted, then it moved forward.

"Leavening... Fix-It-Felix Jr... The next stop is... Game Central..." said a voice from some unknown intercom.

Richard tilted his head, as he placed his hands on his knees. "You know... What is the point of announcing the next station when there is only one stop?" Richard quietly asked. Only two seconds went by, but Richard let out a quiet snort.

Richard blinked once, and his eyes quickly darted to the back of Rancis' head.

Rancis isn't one to laugh at much, but hearing that he had to chuckle. "You're right," Rancis softly smiled. He turned around, leaning his arm on the back of the car, showing Richard that he was smiling. "Why do they announce the next station? We have to transfer to more trains if we want to continue," He said shaking his head.

Richard blushed at this, he wasn't aware that his face was extremely red. Richard blinked and looked at Richard with an expression that was mixed of humor and concern.

Richard's eyes darted to the left, then back at Rancis. "W-What is it?"

Rancis just shook his head and turned back around. "Your face looks like a strawberry lollipop."

Richard slowly slid down into the chair. 'Stupid blushing face!' He screamed internally to himself.

A couple of moments later, the train came to a stop and shook at the buffers. With how Richard sulked down onto the car's seat, he slid and fell onto the floor. "Oof!"

Rancis looked behind him, and down at Richard. "What the...?"

Richard quickly shot up. "I'm fine!" He nervously said, then he went to step out of the car, but then his foot got wedged in between the plaform, and he tripped.

Rancis blinked as he watched Richard fall and land on his face. "Boy... what the hell is wrong with you?" He said, trying not to giggle and what was happening.

Richard groaned, then stood up again. "I... Uh... I meant to do that,"

"Hmm-mm, sure you did Rich," Rancis shook his head with a subtle smile, as he walked past Richard.

Richard, once again, shoved his hands in his pockets as he followed Rancis behind.

As they walked towards the opening, Richard heard a voice.

"Attention Game Characters-," It said, sounding familiar.

"The Arcade is closed for the day-," It continued to speak. As Richard walked behind Rancis, and out from the opening, he saw the Surge Protector standing at the wall, speaking through a megaphone. "You're all free to do whatever you like, no one is playing the games today," He said. "But!" He said sternly. "There is news about a storm brewing outside of Litwack's Family Fun Centre. Be careful in your games! We don't want any of you stuck in them if the power goes out. You will hear the unplug alarm if the power does go out, giving you a 5-minute wait to get to the exit and come here,"

Rancis just walked past Surge, and Richard tried to keep up, with his head hung down to avoid the Surge Protector from seeing him. But it was no use, as they had spotted him.

"Hey!" Surge quickly said, as he lowered the megaphone.

Richard blinked and stopped walking. He slowly turned behind him to look at the blue man.

"Huh?" Rancis muttered as he stopped as well, as turned around to see what was going on. "Oh no," He murmured.

Surge got out a clipboard. "You avoided me yesterday when I asked what game you're from,"

Rancis quickly slid next to Richard, and elbowed his arm, "Don't tell him!" He hissed to Richard.

Surge then got out his pen.

"What should I say-," Richard whispered back to Rancis.

"I don't know! Anything..."

Richard blinked, then looked directly at the Surge Protector. He took an internal deep breath. Then, he tried to lie, "I am... from Real Life... The Video Game..."

Rancis blinked repeatedly, then slowly looked up at Richard, with a slight "What the heck" look.

Surge started to write on his clipboard, but then he blinked. He looked up at Richard. "W-What?" He asked with confusion.

Richard blinked. "Uh," He cleared his throat. "Actually the name for it is Reality Simulator..."

Surge just kept on staring at Richard.

"Uhh... It's Sims inspired," Richard said, "They call us the... the uh... The Reals..."

Rancis wanted to laugh so much, but he couldn't. He tried to keep a straight face.

"Uhhh-huh...," Surge Protector said, "And how exactly did you come here?"

Richard blinked, as he tried to come out with another lie, "Y-You know... Uh... Litwack's son has a laptop... ha.. well, funny story, he..." Richard looked around the surroundings. "He connected it to... this thing, and... ha! Here I am! An actual Reals! From... Reality Simulator!" Richard said.

Rancis wanted to laugh, but he just suppressed it with a gulp and quickly nodded his head to try and fool Surge.

"Hmm... well, I guess I must have missed that alert," Surge said, "a lot of people here, making noise. I probably didn't hear it," He jotted something down on the clipboard. "Alright, you don't seem like a threat so, you're fine for now," the blue man said, "But! If you get out of line, I'm going to send you to where all Viruses go!" Then, they zipped away in a flash of light.

Richard blinked. He was wondering what they had meant with that last bit. 'Viruses?' He thought to himself. He was about to say it out loud, but quietly, but then he heard a loud eruption of pure laughter.

Richard's face got covered in a red tint, as he slowly looked down at Rancis who was clutching his stomach, laughing loudly. "Oh my god! You totally had em' fooled!" Rancis laughed. He stood up, catching his breath. "Oh... oh god... The Reals! What the hell?!" Rancis giggled.

Richard had a shy amused look on his face, as he giggled softly along with Rancis. "Hey, that's all I could have come up with!" He smiled.

Rancis started to calm down from laughter. "Holy sugar... I don't think I laughed that much before," He said rubbing his stomach. "My stomach hurts now," He chuckled.

Richard shyly rubbed the back of his head, as he looked away.

Rancis turned, "You really had him fooled," he said as he continued to walk, with Richard right behind him.

"I-I wonder why I can't... tell him really about what I am," Richard said to Rancis as he walked alongside him now, instead of behind him. "I mean... Even Ryu didn't want me to,"

"Well," Rancis started. "As his name is, he's the Surge Protector. He protects everything here from virus attacks and other stuff," Rancis finished.

"Well, he seems to be crap at his job since he bought me saying I'm from Reality Simulator. A game like the Sims..." Richard said.

"Pifft," Rancis let out a quiet snicker. "You're not wrong there,"

"So... what would he have done? If he thought I was a virus?" Richard asked.

"Well," Rancis put his hands to his chin. "He can snap his fingers and obliterate the virus out of existence," He said.

Richard blinked once, with his eyes widening. He stopped walking. "Yeah, that definitely makes me feel good," He said sarcastically.

Rancis chuckled turned around, and walked backward as Richard continued to walk again

"Well, as long as he buys your 'The Reals' lie, he'll never do that. But, to be honest, I don't know what would happen if he did try to snap you out of existence," Rancis turned back around to walk forward. "Since you're a human being, it probably wouldn't work. You're not made of code like us,"

Richard nodded. "R-Right..." Then, his stomach grumbled loudly.

"You're really hungry aren't you?" Rancis asked. "Don't worry, we're almost at our station,"

Richard's mouth hung open as the train had left the cord tunnel. "Holy... HOLY SHIT!" He yelled looking at the sweet landscape of endless candy, ice cream, cookies, and cake. Everything was made out of sweet desserts. The sight of it all, caused Richard's stomach to roar loudly again.

Rancis blinked. "Okay," He quickly turned around to Richard in the seat. "Don't eat our game down!" He let out a soft laugh. "We have pancakes near the bleachers at the track,"

Richard nodded, slowly. "O-Okay..." He said. Rancis stepped out of the car first, then Richard followed.

The entire platform was made of edible things. Pretzel sticks were the support beams. Gingerbread was the floor. The roof was wafers. Richard was tempted to eat something but he kept his composure.

He followed Rancis through a path that was made out of gram cracker crumbs. Looking up, the mountains had ice cream on the top. Richard shook his head, "Okay, I was getting over thinking I was in a dream... But the feeling of me being in a dream is back again," Richard shook his head.

Rancis looked behind him at Rancis.

Richard shook his head, "I cannot believe this anymore,"

As they walked down the path, Rancis pointed in front of him. "There's the track,"

Down at the very bottom of this sloped pathway, you could see a small portion of the bleachers. "That's... where those candy things... sit at right?"

"The candy people? Yeah," Rancis confirmed.

Once they reached the stands, Rancis walked up the side steps, with Richard behind. Heading up to the top, they saw Candlehead, Swizzle, and Gloyd sitting together on the seats. Gloyd had a plate with a stack of five pancakes that was completely drenched in maple syrup.

Swizzle had a lollipop in his mouth as he looked down at the track below them.

And Candlehead was just sitting silently, staring off into space.

Swizzle was the first to see Rancis coming over. "Hey! Rancy!" Swizzle smiled as he took his lollipop out of his mouth.

Rancis rolled his eyes, "Don't ever call me that again," He grumbled.

Gloyd was completely stuffing his face with the pancakes he could barely speak. "Hmrff..." He could only say, as he brushed his hair out of his face.

"What took you guys so long?" Candlehead asked.

Rancis sighed as he sat on the bleacher. "Had a run-in with Surge. That's what took so long,"

"Oof," Swizzle said. "He was giving you guys a hard time? I reckon he must have had a field day with Richard,"

Rancis was about to say yes, but then he remembered what Richard had done, and he let out a snort and covered his mouth.

Swizzle blinked repeatedly. "Uhh? Wh-What is it?" He had an amused look growing on his face. It's not every day you see Rancis laugh, or laugh like that.

Candlehead looked over at him, arching her eyebrow.

Gloyd continued to chow down on his pancakes.

"No... No.. I-... PIFFFFTTTT!" Rancis bent over and laughed.

Swizzle blinked repeatedly and looked up Richard. "Wa-what's wrong with him?" He had a confused smile on his face.

"Okay Rancis, are you feeling okay?" Candlehead snorted.

"I'm... I'm sorry, it's..." Rancis sat back up. "Richard tried to lie to Surge... and he said he's from a game called Reality Simulator!" Rancis giggled.

Swizzle blinked, then looked at Richard. "And he bought that?!"

Richard shrugged softly, with a slight smile.

"Yes!" Rancis said.

"Wow... someone made Rancis laugh," Candlehead said.

Swizzle smirked. "I call that loveeeee~," He teased at Rancis wiggling his eyebrows.

Rancis gasped, then shoved Swizzle. "Shut up!" He grunted with his face slightly red. Swizzle giggled.

Richard looked down at Gloyd's plate which was filled with the pancakes. His stomach grumbled again.

"Ooh, that was loud~," Swizzle said small giggle.

Richard covered his stomach bashfully.

Candlehead nudged Gloyd on the shoulder. "Hogging all the pancakes for yourself, what about our human guest?"

"Oh... Right," Gloyed said as he took a plate up, that was sitting on the bleacher below them and handed it to Richard. Richard looked at the steaming pancakes on the plate. Then, he took it. There was syrup already on it, but not the ungodly amount that was on Gloyd's stack though.

"You want any more syrup than that?" Candlehead asked. "There's only a few drops left since Gloyd finished the entire bottle!" She said as he softly smacked the back of Gloyd's head.

"Ow!" Gloyd pouted.

Richard chuckled. "Nah... that's okay. This is more than enough maple syrup..." He picked up the fork and then took a bite of the pancakes. Chewed, then swallowed. He froze, his eyes darted down to the pancakes.

Best. Pancakes. Ever.

Richard blinked repeatedly.

"A-Are you okay?" Swizzle asked.

Richard slowly looked at Swizzle. "These are the best pancakes I ever had in my life..."

Gloyd wiped his mouth, to remove the syrup, then he gasped and quickly looked over at Richard. "Wait... really?!" He asked with a growing smile.

Richard nodded "Uh-huh! I never tasted any like this at all!"

Gloyd got all giggly, "I made them!" He smiled. He quickly lunged on Richard and pulled him into a hug. "Thank you!" He said squeezing Richard.

Richard blinked repeatedly, as his face went incredibly red from Gloyd hugging him. Being this close to him, he noticed the smell that emitted from Gloyd was the exact smell of candy corn. Richard just sat there with a bashful expression as this orange rosy-cheeked boy was holding onto him. His eyes darted up at his mellowcreme pumpkin hat. He couldn't tell if it was that, that smelled sweet, or Gloyd himself.

Swizzle was trying so hard to laugh at this scene that was playing out, "I think this guy really likes all of us boys,"

Rancis just shook his head with a slight smile.

Gloyd broke from the hug. "I'm glad a human likes my cooking!"

"Cooking? The only thing you know how to cook is pancakes!" Candlehead said.

Gloyd quickly spun around to face her. "Hey! I know how to bake too!"

Richard was left in a bashful state even after Gloyd had left him.

"Gloyd... You paralyzed our human friend," Swizzle chuckled.

"Oh... Sorry!" Gloyd chuckled as he looked at Richard.

Richard blinked, then he shook his head. "Y-Yeah..."

There was a build-up of a loud sound. Richard blinked. It sounded like a-

Swizzle quickly stood up. "Take them on Sticky! Whooo hooo!" He yelled down at his friend as she zoomed away in her cart with other racers following behind on the track below. "She's taking the lead!" Swizzle said jumping up and down, as he held onto the railing.

Richard blinked. "Sticky?"

"Uh-uh!" Swizzle smiled.

"Oh! Sticky! Sticky Wippleshit... I- I mean-!" Richard coughed. "W-Wipplesnit?"

Swizzle slowly looked at Richard with the most amused expression you had ever seen.

Richard's lips curled inward. "I... That was a slip of my tongue..." He said shaking his head. "I'm so sorry..."

All of the three boys plus Candlehead burst into fits of laughter.

"Oh my god! HAHAAHAHAHAH OH GOD!" Swizzle laughed loudly. "I'm sooooo telling her you said that!"

"Ahh! No! Haha!" Richard laughed.

"That was priceless!" Gloyd giggled.

"Poor Sticky," Rancis chuckled.

Just at that moment, more racers came flying by. "Oh come on!" Swizzle yelled. "Ya'll are SLOW!" He yelled at them with amusement.

Richard folded his arms as he stood with Swizzle. "So... you guys just race all day? I mean, the Arcade is closed, you wouldn't need to, right?"

"Racing is our life!" Swizzle smiled. "It's all we ever want to do," He said, as he turned to Richard. "Me and rest up here on the bleachers just pulled out to make you feel comfortable here for the time being,"

Richard smiled softly, then looked back out to the track. As one last car flew by... Richard heard a voice in the distance. It sounded like a song.

He gasped once he figured out what it was.

The theme song for the game. Anytime Richard hears that he goes into a frenzy. He loves the song a little too much. Probably because a huge portion of it is Japanese and he's a total weeb.

Once it reaches the main chorus,

He completely forgot he was with people. He started singing along with the song.

"S-U-G-A-R, jump into your racing car, Say Sugar Rush! Sugar Rush! S-U-G-A-R, jump into your racing car Say Sugar Rush! Sugar Rush!" He sang loudly dancing a bit. He was about to continue, but then he saw Candlehead, and the three candy boys watching him with shocked amused expressions. That's when Richard came back to reality. He quickly shut up and looked away covering his face.

Swizzle couldn't help it."HAHAHAHA!" He had a distinctive, infectious laugh you could hear across a crowded room of all the candy people in this game and you'd know it was him.

Gloyd was laughing loudly, and so was Candlehead as they leaned on each other for support. Even Rancis was giggling to himself.

"Oh my god, you're hilarious!" Swizzle laughed.

Richard still was covering his face as he looked away from the four racers. Well, that was embarrassing. "I... I forgot you all were there," he said.

Gloyd snorted. "How did you forget that!? haha!" He laughed.
