Author's Note: I hope you all enjoyed the first Chapter. Here's the second one, and it's kind of a ride.
Kyuubi Effect Chapter 1
"Well, what do you mean by that? ", Naruto says looking very confused."
Izanami TSKS, "Well, you played video games when you were younger. Well, I'm going to give you a similar system to how those RPG protagonists work, an RPG-esque progression system to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses. We thought it might be an interesting change. "
Amaterasu asks, "So, are there any questions you have of us while you have us before we send you on your way. "
Naruto responds after a few seconds of thinking, "Well, so what is this threat that I am supposed to be helping to vanquish and 'changing the ending "
Izanami, " Asking for spoilers are you, well it's good I was going to tell you anyway, so this universe, and I mean universe literally as in a whole new universe with new whole everything is in danger from an ancient threat blah blah blah, basically some space monsters who are as big as spaceships want to destroy all life as they know it is going be an issue in the near timeline and we have foreseen the ending of this conflict and we don't like it, only like four choices and they all have horrible consequences, we are sending you in hopes that you and some other select others can alter the timeline enough to be an edge and change the ending for us. "
Naruto responds with a pale-looking face, "Um, alright that's a lot to ask of me, I'm not entirely sure that what you want me to do, I'm just one guy. "
Izanami responds with a giggle, "a guy who single-handedly sealed a goddess that had around a quarter the power of one of us, that's impressive all on its own. Think about it like this, it's your chance to live a life not burdened by everything that's been going on in the EN, also you will have about ten years to start getting things in order, maybe this is a chance to also restart that clan of yours.
Naruto with a blushing voice squeaks out, "Ummmmmmm… what do you mean by that "
Izanami, "well your Jiji put you in that CRA a few years back for a reason …. Muhahhaha, I shall be watching your progress with interest :3 "
Naruto "Wait, what does that mean? I remember he made me sign a bunch of papers with a weird look on his face, but he never explained it "
A portal opens behind Naruto, "Well, Naruto, it's time for you to move on with your next stage in this wild ride that is your life. I only have one final thing to say to you, Izanami says, and that is YEEET "
Naruto disappears into the portal while hearing one more comment from Amaterasu, "If you need anything or have questions just speak to us in your head, we can hear you in there."
The path the portal follows was streaked with stars, at times he thought he could see shapes of what seemed to be beings or maybe ships Naruto wasn't entirely true he was in this star-studded tunnel for what felt like hours so in that time he was making conversation with the tailed beasts and at least attempting conversation with his newest tenant.
The scene changes with Naruto standing in a field being surrounded by what seemed like village-sized animals, he was in his mindscape with the tailed beasts.
Shukaku says from his right," So, Naruto, a whole new universe for us to play in, maybe we could find some people to kill."
"Shukaku, u need to dial back your bloodlust by an entire village length you sandy raccoon, I can't believe I'm the one having to tell you, "Kurama responds while laying down.
"Well guys, we are on the way to our next stage, at least no one in this universe will know about you all, so hopefully we can have some sort of normal life for at least a time, "Naruto thinks aloud.
"Well, remember Izanami mentioned you and select others could change things, so we might not be the only ones she sends to this other place. "Matatabi points out.
"Oh, yeah, that's a thing. I wonder who she is planning on sending, hopefully, Sasuke doesn't pop out of somewhere. I don't want to deal with his punk ass, speaking of things I don't want to deal with how is she settling in " he asks the group of titanic beasts.
"She has kept to herself, and I thought I heard crying at one point, in all honesty, I think something else may have been going on with her, she did seem to be holding back a good bit from the stories we heard from the old man," Son Goku points out.
"I guess I should go deal with that, thankfully we have a little time so settle in guys", Naruto says as he begins walking in the indicated direction.
Naruto continues walking through what seems to him to be a copy of the forests around Konoha, he hears around a tree what seemed to be sniffling. Around the corner of one exceedingly large tree was Kaguya sitting against a tree.
Naruto says in a soft voice, "What seems to be the issue there, Kaguya?"
Kaguya responds, "Well, as soon as I was sealed in here, I got my memories of what has been going on recently, apparently, Zetsu decided to revive me with only some of my memories and seemed to have some level of control over my actions. "
"So, you didn't want to take over the world and take everyone's chakra," Naruto asks.
"Well, in all honesty, probably not, I did give it to the world for a reason, so taking it away wouldn't make sense, "Kaguya responds, "Overall, I just wanted to see my sons, I haven't seen them in thousands of years."
Naruto with a nervous look on his face responds, "Well, both of them died of old age a long time ago, the Sage seems to have survived in some kind of spiritual way as a sage and to a certain extent I would assume his brother would have as well."
"Well, hopefully ill be able to see them at some point, wait, what is that, is that our home from when I was raising my sons," Kaguya questions while looking a little to the right.
Naruto replies with a smile, "The old man did show me and Sasuke visions of him growing up, and I thought this might make your stay a little easier, the Tailed Beasts have human forms, and they live in a copy of the building they were raised in as well. You should go talk to them when you feel up to it, technically they are your grandchildren in a way "
"I really should, I imagine ill be here a fair while no matter what happens, I am going to check out the place and set it up, and then I think I will go see my grandchildren, I always did want Grandbabies to spoil, speaking of technically your my Many- Great Grandchild ill have to get on the spoiling on that here soon," Kaguya responds with a smirk on her face.
Naruto begins fading out and reappears in his own body, the tunnel seems to have an end coming up, and it was coming up fast. He is unceremoniously dumped out on what seems to be an alley between buildings, he dusts himself off and begins looking around, some things he recognizes, the dumpsters and trash in them look similar enough. He looks down and is surprised to find himself whole but shorter than he is used to, he sighs and finds a nearby reflective surface. He sighs " I'm small again NOOOOOOOOO. "
A few moments later, he decides to do some recon of his surroundings, and like a good ninja would, he climbs to the roof of the nearest building, and what he sees amazes him. Buildings as tall as the sky, and what seems to be a city that stretches on for as far as he can see. He decides enough is enough and he looks down to see some of the people and spots some walking to and fro from what he could assume are businesses.
Naruto being the kind of ninja he is decides disguise is his best bet, for now, as a master of the Henge Jutsu, he had figured how to Henge his clothes and not just his looks so he goes with a mid-level approach, he spots what seems to be a man with deep bags under his eyes who seems to be saying words he doesn't understand only knowing that he seemed to be moaning the same word over and over "Overtime "
With a chill down his back and not wanting to think of what kind of hell that man must live in, he changes into his outfit. What seems to be a mix of a suit and a casual outfit, it had a tie of some kind, but it also had a semi-nice jacket to cover it up, whoever that man was, he at least tried to look nice while he was doing whatever he does. He lands in the alley again and walks out into the street, he is a very curious being by nature, so he begins just walking around and looking into stores and just people watching, a lot of the people had similar facial features as the humans he was used to in the Elemental Nations. His main issue is that they spoke a language he didn't know.
Kind of out of nowhere he noticed a few people that had very different facial features, their eye structure looked dissimilar to himself but the big thing about them he noticed is that they spoke a language he could understand, so he walked up to some of the ones who didn't look busy and tried to ask some subtle and not so subtle questions about his new environment, he found out he was on a planet by the name of Earth and that he was in the Nation-State of Japan, apparently the history of which was very similar to his EN, also one thing he found out was that the Goddesses he met were pretty widely worshipped in Japan which was a plus, "maybe I could find a shrine of some kind to get some assistance on getting my bearings " Naruto thought.
After the first couple people he asked questions of grew suspicious he then returned to his normal form, secretly in another alley. He then continued to ask questions such as where in the city he was, what the government was like. Who he might need to talk to to get job. As he asked those questions a few of the older people walked away and pulled out devices and talked to them for a moment. He continued to ask various questions that he seemed to think were innocuous.
But that was not meant to be as a couple of uniformed men walked up to him, they tried to speak to him first in the language he didn't understand and then again in Japanese, likely assuming he couldnt speak whatever language they had spoken first, they began with, " Hello young man, we are officers of the law around here, are you lost or something where are your parents, a couple of the people you talked to expressed concern for a young man who was wandering around asking a lot of weird questions, is there any way we can help you out what is your name"
Naruto responds, "Ummm …. Well, I am an orphan first and foremost, so not much my parents can do for me, but in all honesty, I have no idea where I am, I just have some vague memories and my name, which is Naruto Uzumaki"
"Well, we can give you a hand, maybe get you acclimated and get a hold of someone who can help you," the officer says in a calm voice.
Naruto, not wanting to fight someone who could recognize him as some kind of peace officer, he remembered that was what the village had before the Uchiha Rebellion and subsequent massacre. They did reinstate it later but he never dealt with them since he was a ninja He decided it would be smart to at least, for now, be congenial.
Time Skip- A few moments later at the Local Police Precinct
"And so that car thing can fly in the sky, that's amazing, "Naruto exclaims in an excited voice.
The cop smiling at the boy's innocence says, "Yup, and here we are, the Police Precinct in this area, in here we can see about helping you out."
The building before Naruto seems to him to be around the same size as the Hokage's building back in Konoha, a massive angular building made up of glass and steel, a double door is set in the middle of the first floor, they walk in as the doors open for them, another thing Naruto is not used to.
My office is up a couple of floors, "So let's head there, my friend here will go acquire us some snacks, and I'll take you upstairs." The cop gestured toward the elevator. "This will take us up, please get in, Naruto.
Naruto gets in the elevator and marvels at the scene before him, he is rising several floors of a building without walking up the walls, and the amount of people walking around is just mind-boggling to the young man.
They shortly arrive at the officer's office. They sit down and the officer begins by saying , "I need to introduce myself, my name is Teresa Miyamoto, I am a detective for the Tokyo municipal police department."
"Well, officer Miyamoto, I honestly have no idea what is going on, so I am just here for the ride," Naruto says calmly while he continues looking around the room.
"Alright, young man, I'm going to try to look you up in our system and see if you exist at least in the ones I can access." Officer Miyamoto begins typing on her screen.
"Well, Naruto, I have some good news, you do exist, got you right here in the system", Officer Miyamoto says while seemingly reading some information on the screen.
"Oooooo ok what does it have on me." Naruto internally is freaking out a little bit, he thinks in his head at Izanami, is this part of your plan did you set this up.
She responds several seconds later, "Well, Naruto, that would be telling. Just let things happen as they should, you will love the surprise at the and try to slip in some comments about an organization called Cerberus, maybe they kidnapped you or something your creative you got this! , She then cuts the connection.
Naruto, with his concerns mostly assuaged decides to just go with the flow once again, and once again begins to focus on the events at hand.
"Yup got it right here, Naruto Uzumaki, Son of Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze, no last known location or address, but it gives your basic physical characteristics and some other basic stuff, hmmm this seems oddly general." Miyamoto continues typing, "I'm going to do some more digging, my partner should be here soon with snacks."
A few minutes later, the other Officer arrives with some snacks and drinks, some kind of snack cake, and some fizzy drink Naruto has never had but was interested in trying.

The Scene being shown now is that of a massive table with many men and women sitting on each side, all paying attention to the one standing at the podium directing the presentation. A familiar but different head of spiky blond hair sits on the head of a man built for speed; he is wearing a military uniform decorated with medals, standing at an even six-foot tall he makes for a demanding presence for the persons seated before him.
He says continuing his speech, "All test-bed colonies have shown results, with an even platoon-sized element and basic anti-ship weaponry, pirate and other attacks have decreased by 80%, and the ones that do happen are fought off for long enough for reinforcements to arrive. A combination of ground forces and fast-moving Marine frigates has shown a drastic change in colony life and the quality of life allowed for those involved. The colonies that my wife has been using as a testbed is an especially good example, the only pirate attack that got through the anti-ship defenses was quickly routed as within 2 hours there were boots on the ground against the Batarian pirates and with no civilian casualties, this is by no means to be a full representative of what will always happen but all in all, it shows what is possible.
A beautiful woman with vibrant red hears stands next to Minato, standing there in the uniform of a Marine Captain, like her husband seems to be built for speed more than strength but don't let that confuse you she can break a man in half with just her hands, she seems to be staring at her datapad, fixated at the alert she just received from the Office of Military Intelligence.
ALERT RECEIVED: File of Naruto Uzumaki accessed by Japanese police in Tokyo, concerning a young teen brought into the police station. FOR YOUR EYES ONLY
Kushina Uzumaki, a fierce warrior, Marine Captain, leader of men and women, and first and foremost a mom, possibly has her son back. She then uses Anbu sign language, she signs to her husband under the table {OMI alert received Naruto possibly found}
A man stands up before the gathered military personnel, he is quickly identified as an Admiral, one named Hackett," I for one think it is a great idea, it gives us more boots on the ground in case of issues, secures our borders in the case of war, makes the colonies more protected while also helping keep supply lines secure which is good for Earth and all of humanity."
As he finishes his speech, Kushina is seen vibrating from what seems to be many emotions, excitement, nervousness, and concern being the biggest. She continues to sign many words a second to her husband, attempting to move this meeting along.
Another Admiral, a newly promoted one identified as Kahoku," I am also in agreement, anytime my boys out there are in a position to hold they will but having a support system in place can help keep things even, this might be a way for us to start bringing in the colonies from out in the fringes that no longer trust us and have left the Alliance, if we can protect our official colonies then the ones that have been settled outside the Alliance's control will have reason to rejoin or join for the first time, maybe even bring in immigrants from the other races."
As this Admiral finishes, Minato is seen tapping his finger nervously, just the thought of his son being in a police station in what could only be a very unfamiliar environment has got him very worried, Lady Amaterasu only knows how nervous Minato had been when he had first ventured out into the massive cityscape for the first time.
Another Admiral stands up, this one a Rear Admiral, "While I don't agree personally with the idea of alien immigrants to our colonies, I can see the appeal, it would also help improve our image in the eyes of the Council, it would also improve our Scout Fleets, with the additional personnel and ships".
A female General stands up, "I agree just on the notion of getting more Marines in the colonies. And haveing more Marines in general which will help our readiness in case of war, especially if the Batarians or the Turians decide to start something we are behind on technology ill be damned if we stay behind on experience and troops on the ground."
Minato interrupts before another military leader could stand up, "I would like to put it to a vote if possible, or if not at this moment, maybe a recess for discussion at the higher levels for us to reassemble, something drastically important to my wife and me has come up.
The same female general who had just stood up asked," Well, what could be so important you would rush or postpone this discussion, it must be important."
Minato responds quickly, " Well my son has been found after all these years , my wife is literally vibrating over here and the only thing keeping her from seeing our son is this meeting."
Most of the generals and admirals seem confused but seemingly happy for the couple, but two respond with much larger reactions, one with a shock of white hair tied up with a dark black uniform on meant only for those in Military Intelligence and a pair of Admirals, one being Hackett who had spoken before and the other one a tall man of dark hair and Onyx eyes.
The one of dark hair and onyx eyes stands up and says, "Minato and Kushina have presented all the relevant data and information needed for us to have a pertinent discussion, they have been waiting for this moment for almost a decade so I ask the committee to allow them to leave to go see their son."
There is a series of calls from the Admirals and Generals of agreement to the tune of, "yes, High Admiral" and yes, Lord Senju "
A gust of wind whips through the room as both Minato and Kushina rush out of the room and the building to a waiting sky car on their way to go retrieve their beloved and much-missed son. What most don't notice is the man in black with white hair has also disappeared and gone with both Kushina and Minato.
Author's Note: So there we go, some big bombs dropped, hope you think they were as cool as I did. Establishing some stuff in this chapter. Amaterasu and Izi have changed up quite a bit, I wonder how that will affect things. If you have any non-super spoilery questions, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
