Chapter 3

"These donuts are not as good as ramen, but they sure are tasty," Naruto says through a full mouth of donutty goodness.

"These donuts are indeed great," Miyamoto says, "especially these jelly-filled ones."

A shout is heard from downstairs and the shattering of glass is heard, yelling ensues, "WHERE IS MY SON", rings out throughout the building.

Naruto questioningly asks, "So what's up with that, is that common around here?"

Miyamoto responds with an exasperated sigh, "That's Mrs. Kushina, she's a member of one of the more important families in Tokyo while also being in the military, and yes that is common around here at least with that clan ."

Naruto internally is thinking about his mother, as that was her name, so he goes quiet and continues eating his donut remembering the one conversation he had with either of his parents and so for the next ten minutes he is stuck in those memories not noticing his surroundings until the door is broken down and completely shattered at its hinges.

"Where is my Sochi", Kushina yells while her hair seemingly whips around going against all laws of physics?

"MOM!," Naruto screams going completely bug-eyed.

"NARUTO MY BABY," she torpedoes into her son, driving him into an embrace with him. She continues to hold him for several minutes as he seems to break down in his mother's arms.

When he finally comes around, he has stopped crying and looks into his mother's eyes, "What's going on? I must be having a fever dream, am I dead again, what is going on?"

She responds between rubbing his back and crying just as much as him, "I missed you so much son, we have been waiting for you for soooooo long, we are happy to have you found and home."

She whispers in his ears, "not the time for questions, let us enjoy the moment, and we can fill you in later," she continues hugging him until one more person joins the group hug, Minato has finally arrived from doing damage control of his beautiful, illustrious wife.

He also starts to cry as well, and now all three are just a crying mess, both parents desperately holding their son, who, last they saw in the flesh as a baby, in soul form they could see what was going on with him, but it wasn't the same as holding himor being there physically in any way. At some point, Kushina decided to rub Naruto's whisker marks and he began to purr. This being one of the cutest things Kushina has ever seen, she takes a mental picture of it and then an actual one in her other hand, which was a camera. Minato, on the other hand, was whispering to his son a basic cover story that he and Kushina had come up with

Ten minutes later …

The three of them have finally calmed down and chairs are brought in for all to sit in, the Officers are looking at the three with happy looks on their faces but also confused, Officer Miyamoto asks first, "So Naruto here is your son correct, how did you end up losing him, we found him in the middle of the city, some citizens reported him coming out of an alley looking somewhat roughed up."

Minato responds first, "we have been looking for him for years at this point, when you looked him up in the registry it alerted us, we are very thankful that you found him, he was taken from us at a young age, and we have spent the last ten years looking for any clue."

Kushina continues," all we could find out was that a Criminal Organization was operating around the time he was taken and has been known to take children. We never could get any kind of name or identifying mark of them though."

Miyamoto responds," That's just awful, I can't fathom the stress and pain you two have gone through and your son as well."

Naruto chips in with his part of the cover story with his spin on it, of course, "I think the name of the organization was something dog-related, Fenrir, Hades, …. Cerberus, that was it. Just the name is coming back to me. I'm getting flashes on surgical tables, he shivers, I don't think they did pleasant things to me."

Naruto looks disheveled and withdraws into himself, for dramatic effect, of course, all those years of pranking and wearing a mask over his emotions coming in handy.

Officer Miyamoto decides enough is enough, "Well all in all i am joyful to see a happy ending to this, in all honesty all we want from you today is a report on what you can remember, and we can get you squared away, we will have to get you an ID and other such things I doubt you have any of those, also you might need to meet with a doctor to get a checkup."

They sit down and write out everything that Naruto says on a report, most of it coming from what he knew spooky shadow organization might be up, his experience with the Akatsuki, and hearing secondhand things about Orochimaru, colored many of the things he said,

They got everything written down and helped Naruto get an ID and fully put him into the system instead of the general bio they had when they looked at him originally. Naruto very much thought about getting makeup for his new ID, he decided against putting on War Makeup for his government ID this time. They spent the next couple of hours, and managed to get a full report written up, the officers do their due diligence to make sure everything is legitimate and they are approved to take him home.

On their way out Minato and Kushina are talking to the Officers thanking them for their assistance and promising support if they need anything else as they are going to be investigating things soon.

By the time Naruto is set up with everything, all the necessary conversations and paperwork have been completed, but its already nighttime. Naruto walks up to his parents and with one final wave at the officers they leave the office and subsequently the building to the awaiting Mako Shuttle.

They board the shuttle and off they go toward the Northern part of the city, this being the more affluent area of Tokyo where a lot of the rich and powerful have congregated. Kushina and Minato have indicated to Naruto that questions will have to wait till they arrive, as who knows who could be listening, all this was done through Anbu'su hand signs, Naruto is very thankful that he picked up that skill in his training.

Throughout the 45-minute flight to Minato and Kushina's home, Naruto has fallen asleep on his mother's shoulder as he hasn't slept in what feels like a week. Some idle conversation is happening between the married couple, but mostly comfortable silence.

45 minutes into the flight, Naruto wakes up as he feels himself and the shuttle go through what feels like a chakra barrier, this denoting that their location is somewhat sealed from its surroundings. The shuttle sets down in a verdant field that sits next to one of the most beautiful homes Naruto has ever seen. Woods are woven into each other almost like they've been grown and left, it looks like an odd combination of a mansion and a bunker, it shouldn't work but it does, Naruto hasn't seen architecture like this since he left Konoha, which seems at this point so long ago.

The family walks through the front doors which like every other door so far opens for them, the inside not being unlike the outside but more modern. The inside is a mix of woods and metal, to Naruto's eye, futuristic appliances and machines dot the living room and every other space that he can see. The family makes a beeline to the couches inset to each other around a large tv screen against one wall.

Minato starts, "We, my son, I imagine you have a lot of questions?"

Naruto answers, "Ummmm …to start I only have one, is all these the last ten hours has been kind of a rush and I have no idea what is going on anymore."

Kushina responds, "well, my little Maelstrom, yes, all this is here, it is not make-believe. see!"

~ She pinches him ~ "you felt that right?"

Naruto wincing a little bit," Yeah, a I can tell well, follow-up question, how …... how you are here …how this happened. I am just overall confused."

Kushina pipes up, "Well you weren't the only one sent here silly she said she would tell you, we got sent here a long time ago about twenty years now, Izanami wanted to get things prepared over here and set things up, in what ways we don't know when she and her sister come to visit, they keep things vague, don't want to ruin the surprise is the usual response. When they came to visit, we would watch what you have been up to, apparently they have been watching over you and the world overall has a recording function and we watch on the TV, weirdly in like 20-to-30-minute chunks, they've never really explained why other than it's more digestible. We also got the memories of the soul fragments we left in the seal, so we had the outside and the inside perspective for most of your life so far, we are so proud of you Naruto, you did your best ~ group hug time ~"

Naruto says after the hug, "So basically you have been here living life and watching my life like a TV show, when goddesses come to visit, so basically, I am a TV star dattabayo".

Minato responds," That's the gist of it, we have been awaiting your arrival for a long time son, a whole lot of restless nights when we saw some of the stuff you were going through. There has been a lot going on here as well, Izanami and Amaterasu have given us the barebones of what will be coming down the pipeline in the future and we have been doing our best to prepare for it along with some other people you might know, we weren't the only ones sent over, the others will most likely be here later tonight, we had to rush out of an important meeting to come and get you as soon as we knew you were here."

Minato says "How about instead of watching on TV you tell us of your adventures from your perspective and your heart. A little getting to know you session, and we can tell you of some of ours as well."

Time Skip No Jutsu

"Surprisingly," Naruto Continues, "that's when Hinata comes in and decks Pein I think I saw some blood come out of his mouth, her tiger fists are no joke if she were to do the like 64 palms or anything like that with someone, I don't think they would survive."

"In all honesty, after that fight and talking Pein down, I sadly never did end up getting to spend much time with Konan, she seemed cool, I don't think I found out what happened to her. She seemed cool; well, I hope she is doing well"

Minato begins, "So, I think that might be a good break for you and we can give you the basics of what is going on with us. We were reincarnated here in this new dimension after a conversation with Izanami and made that decision, we thought it might be interesting to grow up and have a somewhat normal life, boy was we wrong from day one thing were "interesting" as Izanami would put it so apparently, we weren't the first ones she sent over here, she sends people every few generations. The Uzumaki and Senju clans exist over here, The Uzumaki date back to a time in Japan that wasn't unlike our world. The Senju are semi-new around the last generation or so. So, Izanami has been sending people over this generation and the last to set stuff up for yours. Something about it being a cornerstone period full of important events."

Kushina pipes in, "Also our parents are from our universe. Mine were people I looked up to as parents anyway, my dad being Hashirama Senju and his wife Mito Uzumaki, they're super sweet I'm sure they will love their new grandbaby."

Minato says, "You will meet everyone tonight I imagine, my dad and mom are a surprise, apparently my wife's love of pranks has transferred to me over the years and I think it'll be interesting when they get here."

Minato continues, "so the basics of US I guess is where we should begin, I would say me and Kushina had this time around normal childhoods, we were pretty mature for our ages, but we didn't have our full memories until we got to an appropriate age for them, apparently its some kind of family-friendly system Izanami built into the process, I and your mother met each other and immediately became rivals and friends, we didn't know the other had the memories so we kind of slipped into how we acted at that age to each other, by the time we were adults we had been dating for years though, which allowed us to get to know the other a lot better the second time around, I think it been good so far."

Kushina joins," I can agree my big strong lightning bolt is the best, so to continue we joined this worlds military, very unlike in many ways to how we did things in the EN, but our speed nonetheless, we have been in since around when we turned 18, we got further education while in the military which is pretty cool we have degrees ~ smiling Kushina with a thumbs up ~, Minato is a Captain in the Navy and I am a Colonel in the Marines, we can go into what that means later, we have crawled up to our positions through the trenches as we didn't want to lean on our parent's names a lot, in fact when we first joined we used fake names. , so son this dimension is a lot different from our original one and I imagine you have many questions but I can guess a couple, This dimension is 100s of years more advanced than the EN were in technology, mostly because until recently that's been all they had. People did not have special powers, recently that has started to change, some kind of element has been changing people on a genetic level and giving them powers, we just got out of a war with aliens in the last 10 or so years, and have joined the wider galactic community. Yes, aliens are a thing and there is a wider galactic community. Any further questions?"

Naruto takes a minute," so …... are the alien races strong?"

Minato responds, "Yep, hugely powerful in the grand scheme of things, inter-personal they are equal in power. So, the major races in the galaxy are on a council of leaders, basically think the Kage council that developed late in the EN. The major races are called the Turians, Asari, and the Salarians, there is a smattering of minor races as well. Turians are a to us at least avian species whose lives focus on the military and to a lesser extent honor within families and the military. The Asari are a race of beautiful women, they are all Biotics (those are those special powers we were talking about earlier), they only have daughters, another thing is that they live for up to 1000 years. The Salarians are lizardfolk on speed, they live on average less than humans so they as a race have their priorities on straight usually going what the most efficient route would be, they also tend to lean more on the IQ side of the scale, think work smarter not harder, A joke I heard one time about them was that they will Big Brain their way into and out of any problem while taking your head off about the 70 other options they could have taken."

Naruto responds, "In all honesty, this is a lot to take in now, is there a library that we have with all this information, shadow clones will be my best bet to get through all this dense lore."

Kushina pipes in, "Well actually yea we have one in the other room, I can show you here in a little bit, ~she points into another section of the house~"

As she is pointing toward the back of the house, the front door opens and a beautiful girl with blonde hair walks in the front door and yells," Mom… Dad, I'm home from school, are you here or still at that stupid meeting?" When she talks about the meeting, she gets a frown on her face, it gives the impression that these meetings may have taken time away and she doesn't like that.

Naruto is stuck standing there with a goofy look on his face as he stares into the face that reminds him a lot of himself, to a certain degree like when he would use the Henge to turn into a female.

Kushina breaks Naruto out of his funk, "oh yea, by the way, meet your sister Naruto, Hi Kana, we are home, and hopefully going forward those meetings will happen less. By the way, meet your long-lost brother from another dimension ~ giggling Kushina~"

Time Skip No Jutsu – 10 minutes later

"Wait so you're telling me I have a brother, who is your son from another dimension, making me and him, not genetic twins as we look near identical," Kana says, seeming to have calmed down.

Minato pipes up," In all honesty, it's kind of scary how similar you two are for having never met each other."

Naruto pipes in at this moment, "Pranks?"

Kana responds," Every day"

Naruto questions, "Ramen?"

Kana responds, "The food of the gods for sure"

Kana asks, "Kids at school inexplicably not like you for some reason out of your control."

Naruto says, "For sure it was the worst, do you have an ancient demon sealed in your stomach."

Kana answers, "Nope, not really, I am a Biotic, and with it being a recent thing people are very scared of it like all things they don't understand. But I might as well be a demon the way they treat me and the others"

Naruto says with a smile on his face, "Sis I think we are going to be amazing together, so many evil Pranky plans to enact."

They begin to talk together in what seems to be a language the two gobsmacked parents can't even understand, nor do they think they want to, Minato says to his wife", So when do you think, he is going to notice how he worded that sentence and with the fact they aren't related?"

Kushina responds, "Probably here in a few minutes, and if not, the friends he has in his seal will remind him of it, I'm for it, I want grandbabies to spoil muahahaha. What? My clan practised much worse things back in the day and they arent even related by blood it was a pain in the ass when they did the DNA test to check if we were his parents Izanami must have been laughing up a storm when you had to explain you adopted him and then had to come up with the way too long and dramatic story that you did." As she says that, a laughing demon appears behind her as her eyes glow.

After that, the newly completed family begins having fun and telling stories with each other and even watching a couple of episodes of what Minato and Kushina have dubbed The Adventures of Naruto,

Kana questions, "so wait, was Haku a girl or not? I'm still not sure?"

Naruto responds, "In all honesty, I still think Haku was a girl, there wasn't a reason for her to tell me the truth, and all in all I think she just loved to mess with me, I miss her a whole lot, there is some stuff not covered in this "show" like we met a few more times, I was trying to convince her to get Zabuza and her to come back to Konoha with me instead of doing what Gato wanted, I think if I had one more day with her I could've convinced her. I hope Izanami is looking after her."

As that statement rings out, the door opens and in walks six people, All seemingly in uniform. Naruto recognized most of them except they looked different like they were themselves, but their features had some additions.

"Grandpa and Pervy Sage?! "Naruto exclaims as he rushes to hug them, "how are you here?"

Jiraiya in his deep black uniform looks over to Sarutobi and says, "this is going to get weird with him having three sets of grandparents."

Sarutobi says," But if nothing else, it will certainly be entertaining"

Minato says, "Well, I guess I should fully introduce you to Naruto, this is Jiraiya Bond and his wife Yasaka Bond, my parents. This is Steven "Sarutobi" Hackett and his wife Biwako, and Lord High Admiral and First Hokage Hashirama Senju and his wife Mito Uzumaki Kushina's parents."

Naruto questions, "Ummm what is with the new names guys, are you being overly sneaky or something."

Sarutobi responds, "Well, at least most of us here went through a process that we have named Soul merging, we stand before you the product of two souls combined with the memories of both ... mostly depending on the situation. For instance, I joined with Steven Hackett one day when he took a hard hit while fighting the Turians in the recent war. Jiraiya is in a similar boat, except with his job he can change his name and it was not an issue. Thankfully, we merged peacefully, if not from what we have heard from Izanami, body changes are more pronounced if there is a conflict between souls. Izanami was kind enough to guide us to people who would understand or were previously involved with. Biwako was my wife back in the EN, she had passed, and I missed her terribly."

"I had to die because Sarutobi just couldn't handle all this," Biwako jokingly adds.

"Jiraiya's wife is from an entirely different dimension from ours, and this one, she is someone u might get along with a lot. She's a nine-tailed fox," says the Third

"For Real?" Naruto responds as he says that fox ears and nine tails pop out from behind her.

Yasaka teasingly says, "Oooo, I didn't think I would be gaining a grandson when I woke up this morning. Come here, honey," Naruto is hugged by Yasaka, and he feels very embarrassed by the action.

"And this here pile of seriousness and broodiness is your grandpa Hashirama," Sarutobi says

"I was just worried he wouldn't like me; I don't know if my granddaughter had anything nice to say, "he says with anime tears coming out of his eyes.

"Well, grandpa, I have bad news to tell you," Naruto says, Hashirama looks up sadly, "Tsunade only had good things to say about you and so did all the books that I read as well, so all is good. As Naruto walks up and hugs his newly happy grandpa,"

"And you must be my grandma, it's always good to meet a fellow Uzumaki, I have only gotten to meet like three of us in my entire life, and two of them died," Naruto says, looking at Mito.

Mito says," Well if we all didn't have our huge tempers then we would've probably survived more, but we had to go and piss off like 7 different villages, but it's ok thankfully over here a lot of my fellow clansmen have learned the lessons of their ancestors. Izanami sent a big batch of them here a few hundred years ago, and they got into a lot of trouble, we inspired the legends of the Ninjas in their history."

Mito continues, "All in all, history is fun , but I think tonight deserves a celebration which only means one thing, UZUMAKI FEAST time. Several groans are heard. Kushina, it's time to assemble the tables and unlock the special cabinets go forth and we shall dine on the food of the gods!"

As this happens Naruto notices something he had never noticed before and he sees something like out of the Video Games of his youth.
