Author Note: Hey all welcome back sorry it took so long. Holidays, college, and work have been taking a lot of my time. This chapter should be the last one before the time of ME1 so woot, it's canon time.

Chapter 6:Secrets and the Christmas Special

Sara looks at Naruto with a very pouty look, "What does the Admiral mean, and he is your what? Naruto, have you been keeping secret,s and what did he mean by family secrets? "

Naruto looks sheepish, "Uhhh surprise Admiral Kahoku is a family friend. Honestly, it's a long story, how about this, when we get heading back to Earth, I will give you the overview, I and my sister's background are classified at the highest level, and you never know who is listening.

Fade to Black

And load and behold someone was listening to their conversation. A beautiful woman with ebony hair and a body meant to drive a man insane with curves in all the right locations.

The woman says Hiding around the corner, 'Miranda to Illusive man, come in I have an update. "

A middle-aged man with brown hair and electronic eyes appears on the screen on Miranda's wrist.

"Yes, Agent Lawson reports, "The man asks, "How goes the observation of the subject?"

Miranda responds, "Honestly he continues to confuse and impress all in the same breath, he is childlike one minute then commanding the next. Also, I have discovered that he has a family, I read his file, and he and his sister are labeled as orphans from First Contact. I was only able to catch parts of his conversation but apparently, he is family friends with Admiral Kahoku of the Alliance. "

The Illusive Man questions, "Do you think he might be amenable to our ways, also what is your Professional opinion of him, Dr. Lawson, I want to know before soon as we will be spitting with the alliance soon "he chuckles at that.

Miranda says, "Professionally, at least from just observation, he is an anomaly I can't place him easily. One minute he is acting like a teenager playing practical jokes, next he is leading troops from the top of a tank and making calculated tactical decisions. To get any more I would have to speak with him and that wasn't part of this assignment."

The Illusive Man leans back in his chair contemplatively, "Flip-flopping personality, amazing in combat and leadership, practical joker …. Wait I know that personality type, Lawson you need to get out of there now before your spotted, if he is related to who I think he is then we are in the shit now " the scene around him begins to change as the room he is in begins to vibrate and to Mirandas, surprise trees begin to grow through his floor as a voice in the distance says " Hey Jackieeeeee I hear you are leaving us, and you didn't want to say goodbye before you left. Also having someone follow my Grandson, that's in poor taste "

The man seemingly comes out of the floor that was destroyed by plant growth, tall in his 50s, with jet black hair, he was wearing a red set of N7 armor stylized like that of Samurai armor. he looks over at the camera with a now very stunned Miranda Lawson, he says, " Well your boss is a hologram and was transmitting from somewhere else, Ms. Lawson I think you should stop following my grandson or your organization is going to be dealt with sooner rather than later, also Naruto while your listening in, ill see you at the house for dinner you goofball and don't hurt the pretty lady maybe you could finally find a girlfriend. Your Granny wants some Great Grandkids to spoil "

The Camera cuts out and a now not invisible Naruto is standing over Miranda's shoulder looking aghast and blushing in no small manner. Then gets a devilish look in his eye, "well my Grandpops said it right you are beautiful maybe I should try to get to know you better but honestly I don't think this is the place they'll text you later pretty lady I already put my information in your computer "As he says that the area around him goes poof as a smoke cloud appears where he was standing.

Miranda looks down at her wrist computer sees a new name in her contacts with three heart emojis attached and looks up and says, "What the bloody hell just happened … you know what I am out of here" mumbling as she goes "rollercoaster of emotions and who the heck does he think he is "and various other things as she makes her way to her ship off the station.

Fade to White

Sara responds with a confused look on her face, "So you and your sister are important families and you wanted to make your way, so you changed your names to do things your way. That makes sense, I gues,s are you going to tell me who it is related to? "

Naruto responds, "Nope, I think it will be a fun surprise." Naruto begins to press the buttons on the console of the shuttle they requested for the trip. "We are coming through the atmosphere right now, though so you should see our location coming soon "

Sara looks out the window and is blown away by the sit before her. A compound set apart from the massive skyline of Tokyo in the distance. Massive with what looks like Medieval walls. Grown over by trees in impossible angles that make no sense of how they grew and surrounded by a massive forest the size of some small cities.

The shuttle crosses the threshold of the walls, and a couple of people who come out of the shadows come out and wave at the shuttl,e and Naruto waves back. They land next to a massive estate that looks like a combination of modern architecture and ancient Japanese construction, there were even giant statues of what seems like a fox with Nine-tails built in front of the doors. Naruto starts, "Well they know I have arrived, my cousins on the wall would've called ahead for us. So be ready for a welcoming committee, it's been a long time since I have been home, so I'm looking forward to it"

They exit the military shuttle that is immediately above scanned by a statue standing a few feet away. The two of them pass inspection, and it flashes green as soon as it passes over the shuttl,e it flashes red. It says, "Red alert bug detected, Anbu are requeste,d please wait"

Naruto gets an angry look on his face and facepalms, "It is good I didn't fully explain anything, and if it's not transmitting, we could have some fun with it. "his angry look shifts into a very mischievous look

Some Uzumaki Anbu appear with their Whirlpools on their masks and begin scouring the craft. They find what they were looking for and hand the bug to Naruto and say, Looks like it was a bug built-in when they were building the shuttle, I think I'll have to report this up the chain, it seems someone has been getting frisky in our military hardware. Also, hi Uncle Naruto, hope you are doing alright ,come around the house sometime me and my cousin miss you. "She disappears as suddenly as they appeared.

Sara looks very confused by the sudden appearance and subsequent leaving of these mysterious people, "Umm … who were those people?"

Naruto responds, "Well, some members of the family have an affinity for special ops or want to guard the home and not go traveling, those become members of the Family Anbu guard, think a National/Colonial guard, except all of them are special ops level of skill. They guard they're and the homestead of the Clan as a whole "

Sara gets a look on her face of awe and then asks, "Wait, why does your family need a whole guard section You all could just hire mercenaries."

He responds, "Well our family is large enough and wealthy enough that keeping it in house family-wise is just smarter, Mercs are good and all, but they can be bought. Anyway, I think it's time we head in I think we have given my family enough time. I am looking forward to what they might do this time"

They begin walking toward the massive front door of the compound and it swings open to reveal Kushina and Kana kicking the door off its hinges. They say at the same time, "We waited too long get your ass in here now "

Naruto obliges immediately, not wanting to anger his mom and one of his favorite people in the universe.

When they enter the main hallway into the house, Kushina leads them to the living room on the first floor, this was the room whereby his parents watched the Naruto Uzumaki adventures. They sit on the sofa finally Naruto notices the elephant in the room, whereby he notices the ten-foot-tall Christmas tree sitting next to the tv.

Naruto says in a sad tone, "Oh crap I forgot it was that time of year. Well, you got me and my second here at a good time of the year, huh Mom?

Kushina responds, "Yup, almost like it was the plan. By the way, are you going to introduce me to your guest, I know you, and Kana are waiting."

Kana standing behind Naruto hugs him from behind and says, "Yeah I wasn't expecting to have a competition this year "she says this with a giggle, and then finally Sara notices who is standing behind her.

She says, "Holy crap is that Commander Shepard, and … what the hell General Uzumaki is your mom. I have heard your stories from my brother."

Naruto quickly steps in before things get even more out of hand, sensing a conversation he didn't want to have, "Yep, that's my family, my bestie sis, Sheppy, and my mom, and if you know my mom then you know my dad too. I am an Uzumaki through and through. Does that give you an idea why I and Sheppy wanted to be a little sneaky with our names? Also, Mom, this is my second in command and one of my best friends, Sara Ryder, she's a lot smarter than I am so she keeps me in check. "

Sara slowly comes back to the universe they reside in and says, "Yeah that kind of makes sense, wait, doesn't that mean that our Captain was your cousin or something. Also, what's with the big compound if nobody is here?

Kushina cuts in and says, "Yes, that is my uncl.e he might get to come by on holiday, we aren't sure, yet he is still cleaning up my son's mess on Amaterasu. Which gets to an important point , WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING SON, YOU COULDVE DIED! Of all the reckless behavior I have had to put up with you could have delegated front line duty from the ship or in the Tac building. The epitome of your behavior was when you said "Take me closer so I can hit them with my sword, "whilst riding a Mako after the battle began to wind down "

She continues, "You weren't supposed to quote your mother like that, be more even headed like your dad your goofy ass "she gets up and gives him a massive hug. She says, "Me and your dad were at the edge of our seats and tearing our hair out because we couldn't get there in time until it was all over. He was furious with the high command and the Intelligence agencies since they didn't see this coming at all, your grandpa got a big dressing down"

Kushina finally turns on Sara and says, "Also wonderful to meet you, dear, I've read your record and it makes me very happy to hear he has someone competent to make up for his foolishness. I am hoping after his dressing down, my son knows better than to do dumb things."

Naruto sits there and pouts while Kana slowly envelops him in a full-body hug, while this happens Sara and Kushina continue to talk about various topics.

A couple of hours later the door is opened and in steps, Minato wearing a Santa costume says " well hello all I finally got out of the Admirals meeting for the day, it was interesting to do it while dressed up, by the way, the rest should be coming in behind me we have to switch out an entire line of shuttles because they pose a security threat does anyone know anything about that "

Naruto looks up from being a human teddy bear and says, "I don't know dad, but the sensors said there were bugs, imma prank whoever it was later. Good to see you old man. I would get up to hug you, but I am kind of occupied"

He responds, "That's fine, Kana missed you a lot, she got on her vacation earlier than you. She was in the meeting room where I and your mom were watching the Tac hologram. Good job by the way son. I hear N7 is about to start up a new section for Engineers and Command positions this year "

Sara is thrown off and intimidated but slowly moves on and continues to talk to both Kushina and now Kana who has joined in the conversation from her perch on her human teddy bear. "So Sara how is it having to keep the Golden Dummy in line, I had to do it for years at school. "

The conversation continues for what seems like several hours and the front door opens once more. This time multiple people walking in. The rest of the Uzumaki and Namikaze family enter the home. The party then gets into full swing as Jiraiya had brought alcoholic eggnog and food. Hashirama got very clingy and tried to spoil his grandchildren. Hiruzen arrived with his wife shortly after and the party continues for several hours.

Jiraiya and Hiruzen in a corner seemed to be taking bets on who Naruto would end up with, either Kana or Sara. Hashirama had begun talking about how to take care of plants on a spaceship. Kushina and Minato had drunk enough that they regressed to their younger years and were flirting with each other. Yasaka, Mito, and Biwako seemingly had grabbed Kana and Sara to talk privately in another room and Naruto had passed out on the couch, seemingly covered in like 6 blankets, the excuse being that he would be super warm when Kana came back.

Overall, it was a very fun and enjoyable end to a time of strife in Naruto's life with a very happy meeting with his family and his second in command. Naruto was in his mindscape having a Christmas dinner with all his tenants who had switched to human form for the occasion. Kaguya had even come out of her self-styled exile within his mind and was enjoying the familial environment that the dinner was exuding.

All in all, it is a good end to an important time in Naruto's new life, and soon we shall see the further adventures of this young man who will affect the new universe he has finally fully adapted to.

Hello, readers and readers welcome I know it's been a while, this is the last chapter of the before canon times. I know this one is kind of short but hopefully, you like it. Naruto will be going to do N7 training and further adventures which will be shown later via flashbacks. It'll be a formidable challenge for the Golden Knucklehead.

Harem is known as currently for those who want it, I won't be posting a complete list because I'm still working out the specifics and wanting to leave some mystery for y'all

Sara Ryder: looks like the canon one with a little bit of tweaking due to some of the fanart I've seen of her versus the one represented in the games

Liara: We will get there and see some of the changes that have been made with Naruto's arrival

Hinata: We will find out what's in store for our shy maiden
