Fate/Stay Night
WARRIOR
Ep.4: The Rider
Yusuke: "Is this how a magic circle looks?"
Yusuke raised an eyebrow, bending down to inspect the crimson circle inscribed with magical runes on the rooftop wall of the school.
Smack!
Suddenly, Yusuke's hand was swatted away with enough force to leave a red mark.
Rin: "You fool! Don't touch it!"
Yusuke: "No need to be so harsh about it!"
Yusuke slowly stepped back, allowing Rin to continue her work. Rin placed her right hand upon the magic circle, and a radiant white light flickered before gradually fading away. When they looked again, the circle had vanished.
Shirou: "There must be more of them."
Rin stood up and nodded.
Rin: "Yes, they're cursed seals. To establish a magical boundary, these must be inscribed all around the location."
Yusuke: "So this persoa probably pretty nasty, huh?"
As Yusuke spoke, Rin turned to him with a serious expression.
Rin: "You and Emiya... both of you have a knack for finding these things. Help us out, will you?"
In the fading light of the evening, with the sun casting a soft orange glow, the school was eerily silent, devoid of any other presence. Only Rin, Shirou, and Yusuke remained, continuing their search.
Rin led the way in dismantling the mysterious magic circles around the school. Shirou was the one verifying and locating them, while Yusuke kept watch for any potential dangers.
The circles were hidden in every corner—classrooms, club rooms, the gym, even the bathrooms...
But in the end, they found them all.
The light dimmed, and the final magic circle dissolved completely.
Rin: "That was the last one."
Yusuke: "Finally! I'm starving..."
Rin turned, annoyed in her face.
Rin: "You really are annoying!! "
30 minutes later
Shirou and Yusuke were walking home along a deserted road. The sky was overcast, with only the nearly full moon hanging overhead, casting a faint light. The streetlights were spaced far apart, leaving large gaps of darkness between them.
Yusuke glanced at Shirou, noticing the intense expression on his face once again.
Yusuke: "What's bothering you now, bro? Aren't you happy? You just saved everyone at the school."
Shirou: "It's not about that."
Yusuke raised an eyebrow.
Shirou: "Someone found my friend that's gone missing "
Yusuke: "Really? That's good news, right?"
Shirou: "But they said she was found...with no clothes, completely out of it, like she was in a trance or drunk some kind."
Shirou clenched his fist, slamming it against his knee.
Shirou: "And then!!!! Shinji haday those things... around the school... saying she's an easy girl who's turn herself in!!"
Yusuke: "Emiya—"
Thump! Thump!
Yusuke's heart suddenly pounded harder, his blood rushing through his veins and causing his skin to prickle all over.
Yusuke turned towards the empty street behind them, sensing something approaching, something dangerous...
Yusuke: " go home First, i will go after "
Yusuke dashed off, chasing after the feeling that had set his warrior's blood on fire.
Shirou: "Wai—"
Before Shirou could finish his sentence, Yusuke had already disappeared from sight.
Yusuke sprinted, following his instincts, hunting down the source of the danger.
He stopped in front of a narrow alley, dimly lit, the atmosphere thick with foreboding.
As he stepped inside, Yusuke felt a chill creeping into his bones.
"It looks like someone's been meddling things they shouldn't."
The voice belonged to a young man with purple hair, a familiar face in Yusuke's eyes.
"You! Shinji..."
Beside Shinji was a woman with long, flowing hair, dressed in a black corset, with a purple blindfold covering her eyes.
Yusuke recognized her immediately as the servant he had fought before. Now, she was draining the blood of a helpless girl from her neck.
"We meet again, newbie. Allow me to introduce my servant, Rider."
As Shinji spoke, Rider dropped the girl's lifeless body to the ground.
"You and Emiya... you're both the same, going around doing foolish things like destroying magic circles. But Rin... she's an exception, at least to me." Shinji paused. "Surprised?"
Yusuke: "Yeah, I'm surprised you're a master."
Yusuke's serious tone only made Shinji laugh.
"I'm surprised myself that an outsider like you knows about the Holy Grail War."
Shinji smirked, his expression cunning.
"Do you know what happens to outsiders who know too much?"
In the blink of an eye, Rider moved with lightning speed, attacking Yusuke.
With swift reflexes, Yusuke dodged Rider's blade, but not without sustaining a shallow cut on his left shoulder.
"Henshin!"
Armor materialized around Yusuke, enveloping him in the form of Kuuga, now turning blue.
Rider hurled her chain-linked dagger at Kuuga, but he easily evaded, leaving the dagger to embed itself beside him.
Rider then darted in another direction, using the chain to quickly bind Kuuga, causing him to crash to the ground.
"Damn it!"
Kuuga struggled with all his might, but the more he fought, the tighter the chain became.
"Kill him, Rider!"
At Shinji's command, Rider raised her other dagger and lunged at the immobilized Kuuga, who was unable to move or defend himself.
"I won't let you!"
Kuuga twisted his body at the last moment, causing Rider's dagger to slice through her own chain, severing it.
Kuuga spun around, delivering a powerful kick to Rider, and then swiftly retreated.
"Persistent, aren't you?"
Shinji's frustration was evident as he glared at Kuuga. He turned to Rider and shouted.
"Finish him off, Rider!!"
Rider crouched, preparing to launch herself at Kuuga once more.
Kuuga glanced to the side, grabbing a long metal pipe. It transformed into a staff as he held it, causing both Shinji and Rider to hesitate in surprise.
"Don't be distracted, Rider!!! Kill him!!"
But as soon as Shinji's words left his mouth, the surroundings fell eerily silent. It was as if time itself had paused for a brief moment, but it wasn't long before Rider attacked.
"Huh?"
In Rider's eyes, she suddenly saw Kuuga's form change, glowing with alternating black and gold hues.
A strange sense of familiarity washed over her as she gazed at this new form.
"What are you doing, Rider!!?"
Shinji's furious voice cut through the air, seeing that Rider had halted her attack and was stepping back.
"Rider!! I told you—"
"Master."
Rider's voice interrupted, causing Shinji to stop and look at his servant.
"You have a greater mission to accomplish. It would be wiser not to waste my mana on something so insignificant."
"But—"
"Or would you prefer I exhaust myself to the point where I cannot complete that mission?"
Rider turned her gaze back to him.
"Wait until the mission is done. Then, you can deal with him at your leisure."
Shinji scowled, crossing his arms in frustration, but in the end, he relented.
"Consider yourself lucky, newbie."
In an instant, Rider and Shinji vanished into the shadows of the alley.
But before disappearing, Rider cast an unusual glance back at Yusuke.
she's gave him strange vibe gaze and disappear in the thin air.
"So, he's another master..."
"Shinji... is a master?"
Rin's expression was one of disbelief.
"That's what I said."
Yusuke confirmed, causing Rin to laugh.
"Unbelievable. The Matou family's magic circuits were supposed to be long gone."
"But it's definitely him."
Yusuke spoke with a tone of certainty, confident in his words.
"Well, even so, I didn't sense any real danger from Shinji himself. That's what's strange."
"I feel the same."
Shirou added, furrowing his brow in thought.
"So you're saying there's another master at the school?"
"It's possible."
Creak!
The sound of a door opening drew their attention immediately.
The man who stepped out was tall and thin, wearing glasses and a perfectly tailored suit.
"Sensei... Kuzuki."
Shirou addressed him, but the man's expression remained emotionless, almost robotic.
"Shirou, where is Issei?"
"Oh, Issei is helping out at the science club."
Kuzuki nodded, then turned his lifeless gaze towards Yusuke.
"You... I haven't seen you before. A new student?"
"Yes, I'm Yusuke Godai."
Yusuke replied, feeling a shiver run down his spine as he looked into Kuzuki's soulless eyes, making him nearly jump out of his seat.
"I see."
With that, Kuzuki walked out of the room.
"Why do you look like you've just seen a ghost?"
Yusuke turned to Rin, who had noticed his reaction.
"Maybe I have seen one."
"What are you talking about?"
Shirou asked, glancing back at Yusuke.
"Nothing, I guess."
Yusuke takes a deep breath before answering Shirou.
Even Sensei Kuzuki has already left, but the feeling of danger is still inside Yusuke.
he's know that guy has something.
In the storage room. dark and narrow space, with only a single beam of light streaming through the small window above, revealing a crescent moon. The air was thick with the scent of old wood and mold on the walls, making every breath a struggle to avoid retching.
Yet Shirou was doing something inside that room, completely unfazed by the suffocating atmosphere.
"Trace on."
A green pattern appeared on the wood stick in Shirou's hand.
Sweat began to trickle down his body, and his face twisted in small pain.
Crack!!
The wood in his hand snapped into two pieces before his eyes. Shirou opened his eyes and sighed deeply.
"Sigh..."
Creak!
The door to the room opened, and Yusuke's shadow fell across the floor.
"What are you up to,my friend?"
Yusuke asked as he stepped into the room.
"I'm practicing my magecraft. Is something wrong?"
"Oh, nothing. I just noticed you were gone from the bedroom, so I came looking for you. But come to think of it,
Yusuke stopped speaking and leaned against the wall.
"I've never seen you use magic before..."
"Ah, well, to be honest, I'm only proficient in one thing—reinforcement magic."
After Shirou finished speaking, Yusuke crouched down.
"Interesting... Could you reinforce my armor, then?"
"I can't do that."
Shirou sighs in his face, then looks down at the broken pieces of wood scattered on the floor.
"I can only reinforce small objects, like swords or blunt weapons."
"I see..."
Shirou chuckled softly before turning to look at Yusuke.
"My father only taught me this one spell. Well, actually, I insisted he teach me, even though he didn't really want to."
Shirou smiled slightly at his own statement, since it reminded him of his father figure.
"Your father must have been truly honorable... Otherwise, you wouldn't have that smile on your face."
"Of course. He's the person I respect the most."
Shirou sighed.
"Even though he's no longer here..." Shirou paused. "The last thing he left behind was his will... A will to protect everyone from their cruel fates... It's something I must fulfill."
"Protect everyone?..."
Yusuke's tone shifted instantly after the Shirou statement; it's like something inside those words triggers him.
"Yes, I want to save everyone, even if they are enemies. Even if I don't like them, as long as they're humans, I will save them."
"That's impossible."
Yusuke's words make Shirou shout in confusion.
"What!?"
Yusuke stood up and walked towards the door.
"Let me ask you this: If your enemies captured the person you loved most and forced you to kill, would you still follow through with that ideal?"
Yusuke's words left Shirou speechless.
"Don't be naive, Shirou... The real world is far crueler than you think."
Bang!
Yusuke slammed the storage room door shut, leaving Shirou alone with his thoughts and Yusuke's words echoing in his mind.
"Aaah!"
A hissing sound filled the air, accompanied by the smell of something burning throughout the house.
"Who's burning the house down!?"
Yusuke rushed into the room, only to find Sakura standing in front of a pan with smoke billowing out.
"Senpai Yusuke!!"
"Hey, what are you trying to do?"
Yusuke darted into the kitchen and quickly turned off the gas stove.
Inside the pan was a charred black lump, unrecognizable as anything edible.
"S-sorry! I wanted to try making steak, but I didn't think it would turn out like this."
Sakura apologized with a guilty look in her eyes, bowing repeatedly.
"Haha, is that it?"
With that, Yusuke began to show his cooking skills, from preparing the meat to marinating it and finally serving a beautifully cooked, tender, decent chicken steak.
"Wow! Senpai Yusuke, you're amazing!!"
Sakura exclaimed with sparkling eyes.
"If my brother hadn't taught me... I wouldn't have been able to do this, haha."
Yusuke said as he placed the dish on the table. Before looking at Sakura and speaking up.
"You seem diligent. Unlike your brother..."
"Ah!? You already met my brother, Senpai?"
Sakura asked, surprised.
"Yes, I have."
After Yusuke said that, Sakura quickly became quiet, and her action changed instantly. from cheerful to quiet.
"Sorry. Did I go too far?"
Sakura lowered her head, a troubled expression appearing on her face.
"W-well...I-"
"Hmm?..."
Creak!
Saber opened the door and entered the room.
She was taken aback when she saw them.
"Am I interrupting something?"
"No, not at all."
Beep, beep, beep!
Yusuke glanced at the clock that started beeping, showing 8:00 on its cockpit.
"Oh no, I am late!!"
Sakura and Yusuke both exclaimed simultaneously before dashing out of the kitchen in a hurry.
At Komamura School, during lunchtime.
Rin and Shirou sat quietly on the empty, quiet rooftop, just the two of them sitting next to eachother.
"Did you just... meet Shinji?"
Emiya asked, surprised.
"Yes. He kept insisting on me joining him, but I refused."
Rin crossed her arms, looking frustrated.
"No wonder... That's why he acted like that."
Shirou sighed. "What is that guy up to?"
Meanwhile, Yusuke is sleeping in the classroom.
He saw a dark figure standing in the corner of the room, motionless.
It had been staring at him for a long time.
He didn't know what it was. But in its eyes, he saw something.
Smiliar…
A steady rain fell.
The thunder roared, but no matter how loud it was, it couldn't drown out the sound of crying.
"N-no..."
He was holding a gun and aiming at the dark figure.
Shirou sighed. "What is that guy up to?"
Meanwhile, Yusuke is sleeping in the classroom.
"FATHER!"
Bang!!!
"Ah!???"
Both Rin and Shirou exclaimed at the same time. When the atmosphere around you starts changing,.
They saw the sky over the school slowly turning red.
And above them, there's the circle eye floating and watching at them.
Back in the classroom, Yusuke slowly awoke.
He rubbed his blurry eyes until his vision cleared and looked around the room.
"What the hell!?"
Everyone in the room had collapsed, unconscious. Some were foaming at the mouth; others looked like they were suffocating or even just dead.
The atmosphere around them had darkened, taking on a blood-red hue covering entiye area.
Yusuke looked out the window and saw that the school was being enveloped by some kind of red barrier.
"EMIYA!!!"
