Yuji was flying through the air he had his arms behind him and he use blackrider to launch and shoot himself to trees. Once Yuji saw a high tree branch he grabbed one and swung over it and went high into the air.
Yuji then cocked his right fist back and punch and shot through the ground lifting himself back up in the air to lessen his impact to land on the ground. Once after that Yuji then flip down until he landed in a crouch position on the ground.
"Well that was a bit of a rush" Yuji said as he looked around the forest.
"Ok they said we should head to the northern end of the forest right, then I guess I better head that way" Yuji said as he started to walk to the location.
"I hope Ruby and Yang are alright" Yuji said thinking about his two friends.
With Megumi, the son of Raven and Toji was in the air and as he fell through the leaves of the trees. Megumi twisted a bit to his right side and he landed on a side of the tree until he sprung down from tree to tree until he went down and rolled into the ground.
Megumi then got up and brushed himself off.
"Ok seems like I got some decent shadows around me" Megumi said due to being in the forest its covering a large amount of sunlight. Meaning Megumi can use his semblance in a greater capacity.
Megumi purple aura appeared around him and he got into a stance and palmed his hands together and it wasn't long until something came out of the shadows and out of the shadows was a orange bird like creature.
"Nue, search for the temple northeast from here" Megumi said.
Nue then wasted little time and started to head northeast and Megumi started to walk in that direction as well.
"Very good Megumi" Gojo said
"I shouldn't be suprise Megumi has a very strong semblance and is very intelligent its no wonder you have him enroll in Beacon a year early and have him join us, sir" Glynda said.
"Yes, Megumi will be a key figure in the battles to come but lets see what the students can do shall me" Gojo smiled as he took a sip from his coffee.
Maki was gliding through the air she was heading to the trees and Toji and Raven oldest child clock her left fist and gathered a certain amount of aura on her fist and once she did that she went ahead and punched a side of a tree causing her to stop and her entire hand be stuck in the tree.
After that happen Maki took her left hand out of the tree and she jumped and flip back until she landed safely on the ground.
"Well that was easy enough now I should probably head northeast like that idiot said we should do" Maki said as she was starting to walk her way through the forest.
Back to Yuji he was walking through the forest and he was walking through the forest for a few minutes and he looked around to see if he could see if he could find Ruby and Yang.
"Lets see no sign of Ruby or Yang or even Weiss and Blake I wonder if they found a partner already" Yuji said.
Before Yuji could say anything he sees something coming out of the bushes and it was a two giant bear like grimm.
"Some Ursa dont think you boys would mind letting me by" Yuji said.
As soon as he said that Yuji had to jump back quickly to dodged a claw swipe from one of the Ursa.
"I guess not" Yuji said as he sighed a bit as he ran at one of the Ursa. The Ursa tried to swipe at Yuji again but Yuji dodge it.
Yuji then gave the Ursa a uppercut using his shot gaunlets and he grabbed the Ursa right arm pulled him back and gave him a headbutt knocking it back staggering it.
Yuji then wasted the little time and boosted by his shot gaunlets he hit the Ursa with multiple punches and he then kicked the Ursa back causing it to crash to a tree causing the tree to crash.
Yuji then turned and saw the other Ursa and was prepared to fight it. However before Yuji could attack he saw two white wolves appeared behind the Ursa and started attack at the Ursa bitting it multiple times and knocking it down.
The wolves kept biting it down and the Ursa was struggling to fight back until he used his claw to knock the wolves back and as the Ursa slowly got up Megumi ran and jump over the Ursa and before the Ursa could react. Megumi quickly turned around and with his black blade shadow Garden he cut off the head of the Ursa.
Megumi sighed as the head and body of the Ursa fell over and and it started to disappear into dust. Megumi dogs also burst and disappeared as well.
Megumi then turned and look at Yuji.
Yuji smiled "hey thanks for that I guess that means we're partners huh" Yuji said.
"I guess so..." Megumi said this was one of the ones he and Maki pointed out that he was one of the ones that seemed strong and Megumi saw the fallen tree on the ground.
"Megumi, I'm Megumi Fushiguro" Megumi said to Yuji said.
"Sweet nice to meet you Megumi, I'm Yuji Itadori hope we can get along" Yuji smiled at Megumi.
Before Megumi can say anything anything he saw one of his shadow creatures Nue come to him.
"I see so we're not too far then" Megumi said as Nue disappeared.
"Woah is that your semblance you can create a bunch of animals thats so cool!!" Yuji said.
"Yeah my semblance is called shadow creation I can use my shadow or the shadows around me to create anything I want although depending on what I create it could cost me a huge amount of aura" Megumi said.
"I see you have a strong semblance but it also comes with a pretty hefty cost" Yuji said.
Megumi nodded "Nue my shadow bird found the site it seems were not too far away maybe about twenty minutes away from it if we continue going northeast" Megumi said.
"Sweet then lets get going partner you can leave the way while we're at it lets try to get to know each other a bit as well" Yuji said as he gave Megumi a thumbs up.
Megumi nodded and after that he and Yuji had went on their way to the temple.
Meanwhile with Maki she was having no trouble at all as she was battling a couple of Beowolves and among them was a Alpha.
Maki easily took care of the pack and all their left was the leader.
Maki and the Alpha wasted little time and ran at each other and Maki swung her naginata while the Alpha swung its claws and they clash.
The Alpha kept using its claws to strike Maki but the daughter of Toji and Raven easily blocked it strikes. Maki then kicked the alpha back knocking it down to the ground.
As the Alpha easily got up but Maki with her speed got in front of the Alpha and with multiple quick slashes striking the alpha causing it to go down on its knees.
Once that happens Maki sliced the alpha beowolf in half and its upper and lower body started to turn into dust.
"Man these grimm are weak as hell they're not making me break a sweat" Maki said.
"Still I can't let my skills get dull I just need to get to that stupid temple and get that relic" Maki said.
Now that Maki mentioned it her old man said that Gojo had up used this same test back when her father was at Beacon.
"I guess Gojo didnt bother to change things up regarding the iniatiation but whatever all I need to do is pass this dumb test and I'm a step closer in becoming a huntress" Maki said.
Maki started to make her way to the temple as she was walking Maki heard some noises so she ran to her right and she looked and saw what was making their noise.
She looked and saw it was the blue haired girl that was wearing a suit.
Maki saw that the girl was busy striking and cutting an Ursai and she jumped back and got into a stance and the Ursai ran at the girl in a blink of a eye the girl went and cut the Ursai in half in a instant.
"That was fast I barely even saw her drew her sword" Maki said she then walked up to the girl.
"Maybe she might be a good partner for me" Maki thought.
The girl turned and she saw that Maki was walking up to her.
"Oh hello there" the girl said.
"Yo that was pretty cool how you took out that Ursai like that, I can tell your pretty strong" Maki said.
"Oh thanks but it wasn't anything special really" the girl said as she rubbed her head.
"Give yourself some credit someone that can easily slice up a grimm like that must be strong as hell" Maki said as she smiled at the girl.
"Since we're partners I guess we need to introduce each other the name is Maki, Maki Fushiguro and your name is?" Maki asked.
The girl looked at Maki and she couldnt help but noticed how confident and sure of herself Maki was and couldnt help be at awe and a little jealous of her.
"I'm Kasumi, Kasumi Miwa but you can call me Miwa" the girl now known as Miwa said.
"Well Miwa since we're partners you ready to head to the temple and grab a relic so we could pass already?" Maki asked Miwa.
Miwa smiled "sure I'm right behind you partner" Miwa replied.
Maki nodded after that the two young women had made their way towards the temple.
Meanwhile with Ruby and Weiss it wasn't that long until the two girls had taken down a group of Beowolves together.
"Well I say that was pretty easy so Weiss what do you think you impressed by my skills or what?" Ruby said as she changed crescent rose back into its storage mode and put it on her waist.
Weiss strapped Myrtenaster to her left side and looked at Ruby. While she thinks Ruby is a bit childest she is pretty skilled in combat. Even though Weiss wanted Pyrrha as a partner she approves that Ruby can be a decent to even a good partner for her.
"I will admit you are very skilled however don't let my praise get to your head we still need to make our way to the temple" Weiss said as she started to walk.
"Right" Ruby said as she used her semblance to catch up to Weiss.
"So Weiss since we're partners I was wondering do you think maybe we can try to get to know each other a little bit, I actually really like to be your friend" Ruby said.
Ruby did bring up a good point since they are partners they should try to get to know one another although she did learn some things about Ruby yesterday.
"Well you bring up a good point Ruby...if you dont mind me asking how old are you?" Weiss said.
"Oh well...I'm fifteen years old" Ruby nervously said.
Weiss was shocked "I see no wonder you look so young why would professor Gojo allow you to enroll at Beacon so early?" Weiss asked.
"Well I'm not exactly sure myself maybe he was impressed that I tried to stop Torchwick and his goons" Ruby said.
"I'm sorry you tried to do what?" Weiss said as she had a suprise look on her face.
"Oh yeah its kind of a crazy story" Ruby said as she told Weiss about what happened that night and how Gojo accpted her into Beacon.
"I see Gojo must see something in you if he put you into Beacon, two years early try not to make sure you reach his expectations Ruby" Weiss said.
"I'll try my best Weiss and also I promise I'll be the best partner I can be for you" Ruby said as she wrapped her arm around Weiss.
Weiss couldnt help but shake her head but none the less she looked at Ruby and actually smiled at Ruby.
"I...I apperciate that Ruby so what do you say we pick up the pace a bit" Weiss said.
"Sure lets do it bestie" Ruby said as she and Weiss started to jog together.
Weiss chuckled a bit it seemed like she has a interesting partner to say the least weather thats a good or bad thing she wasn't sure herself. But as of right now Weiss wasn't complaining one bit.
"Seems like everybody is making some good time for the most part" Gojo said.
"Yes although their are some promising students I am a bit concern about this Jaune fellow it seems like he not ready for this level of combat yet regardless of what his trancripts says" Glynda said.
"Hmm well he could be a late bloomer Glynda we shouldn't give up on him yet" Gojo said.
"I susppose your right by the way Megumi and Maki have already found their partners and are making great time I say both them and the other students will make it to the site in a few minutes" Glynda said as she started to walk away from Gojo a little bit.
She then turned to face him as she wanted to ask her boss a question.
"By the way what did you choose for the relics this year?" Glynda asked.
"Oh for this I actually choose chess pieces this year pretty cool huh Glynda?" Gojo said.
"Well its better then what you came up in previous years and what you did back when I was a student" Glynda said.
"Oh come on Glynda it wasn't that bad" Gojo said.
"Sir you used marbles, coloful marbles if I want to add" Glynda said.
"Hey my marbles lead you to become a marry woman Glynda you should be thanking me" Gojo said as he gave Glynda a thumbs up.
"Sir do you want me to throw you off this cliff" Glynda said as she gritted her teeth a bit.
"Now Glynda their no need to try something you would fail at doing" Gojo said causing Glynda to grunt in frustration.Sometimes it was pain in the ass to deal with Gojo and his nonsense its a miracle she was able to graduate Beacon with him in charge.
Gojo chuckled teasing Glynda was too much fun sometimes. Before he could drink his coffee he heard a loud noise and he lifted up his blindfold to look up in the sky and he saw was a giant nevermore heading to the ruin section of the forest.
"Well that can't be good I wonder how every one going to handle this" Gojo said.
Meanwhile with Blake and Yang the two girls had reached the ruins area and they were standing on top of a hill.
"You think this is it?" Yang asked Blake.
Before they could do anything they both heard a somebody call out to them.
"Yang Blake!!!"
Blake and Yang turned around and they both saw Yuji and Megumi walking up to them.
"Yuji you made it one piece!!" Yang smiled as she was happy to see that one of her best friends were alright.
"Of course I'm not going to go down that easily you know that" Yuji said as he and Yang high five each other.
"Hey Blake its good to see you again, I hope Yang didnt give you any trouble" Yuji said as he greeted Blake.
"Not at all its good to see you again Yuji" Blake said as she nodded at Yuji.
"Oh yeah thats right every one this is my new partner and new friend Megumi" Yuji said.
"Hmm while its great that your introducing me to your other friends Yuji we need to go to the ruins already" Megumi said.
"He right we shouldn't waste anymore time" Blake said as she was about to go down towards the temple and Megumi followed after her.
Yang looked at Megumi and for some reason he looked familiar unknown to Yang she was looking at her younger half brother.
"Hey you alright?" Yuji asked as he saw that Yang was spacing out.
"Huh sorry its nothing c'mom lets go" Yang said as she started to head down to the ruins and Yuji followed behind her.
"Chess Pieces?" Blake said as she saw that the relics were in fact chess pieces.
"Some of them are missing looks like we arent the only ones that were here" Yang said.
"So I guess we just have to pick one then?" Yuji said.
"Yang Yuji Blake!!!" every one looked and they saw that Ruby and Weiss walked up to them.
"Ruby you made it!" Yang said as she hugged her sister.
"Yang stop it!" Ruby complained.
"Weiss glad to see your alright and you partnered up with Ruby thats awesome to see!" Yuji said as he smiled.
"Well I would admit even though Ruby is a bit childish she is a capable fighter so I can understand why Ozpin took her in early" Weiss said.
Weiss couldnt help but give Yuji a small smile.
"Its good to see that your alright Yuji" Weiss said.
"Same here Weiss I'm glad your alright I hope you didnt scream a lot it would totally suck that you wouldn't be able to sign for awhile" Yuji said.
Weiss snorted "while your concern is apperciated Yuji I dont get scared that easily when it comes to fighting grimm"
Yuji laughed "thats true you wouldn't be here trying to get to Beacon if you were scared".
Weiss shook her head honestly is everyone here this easy going and childish, still though she can't say she totally hates it. For some reason ever since she came to Beacon her she felt more at ease with herself and not carrying a heavy burden with whats been going on back home.
"Well this seems like a great party" everyone looked and they saw Maki and Miwa walking up to the group.
"Well Megumi I'm not surpised you made it here" Maki said to her twin brother.
"Same here sis glad to see your ok" Megumi said to his older sister.
"Of course I'm not gonna die that easily it helps that I have a strong partner in Miwa here" Maki said.
"Oh Maki I'm nothing special really" Miwa said as she rubbed her head.
"So do we just pick up a chess piece and meet up with Gojo and Goodwitch? Maki asked.
"Yeah for the most part" Megumi said.
"Hey Blake how about a cute little pony" Yang said as she grabbed a golden pony piece.
"Sure" Blake said as she grabbed a pony chest piece.
"Weiss can we grab the pony piece please?" Ruby said.
Weiss sighed a bit "you mean the knight pieces but yes Ruby you can grab one for me and you"
"Yes!" Ruby said as she grabbed the other two knight pieces and then handed one to Weiss.
Maki and Megumi looked at each other if what their old man is true Gojo pairs the teams up if they had the same color items. They figured this year he chose chess pieces as the relics.
"Yuji grab the black king chess pieces" Megumi said.
"You too Miwa grab a black king chess piece" Maki said.
"Sure alright" Yuji said.
"Ok sure" Miwa said after that the four of them went ahead and grabbed the king chess pieces.
"Well that wasn't too hard at all" Yang said.
"Well not like this place wasn't hard to fine now we should" Maki started to say until he heard a scream.
"Some girls in trouble" Yang said.
Blake Maki and Megumi looked up in the air and they widen their eyes and saw that it was a giant nevermore and it was heading their way.
"Hey Megumi whats up is something wrong?" Yuji then looked up and he saw the giant nevermore.
"Well thats not good!!" Yuji said as he gotten nervous seeing that Nevermore.
Yuji then look to the side and every one heard a scream and they looked and saw that Jaune was falling in the air.
"Is that Jaune!!" Yuji thought as he realized that maybe the iniation test was going to be harder then they thought.
