Yuji ran and jumped into the air and he went and caught Jaune and after that the two teens had fell and roll into the ground.
"Wow that was close are you ok, Jaune?" Yuji asked his friend as he got up from the ground.
"Y-yeah I'm fine thanks Yuji" Jaune said as Yuji helped him up to his feet.
"What happened why did you fly through the air like that?" Yuji asked.
Before Yuji could answer they saw a Ursa knocking down some trees and they saw that the same orange hair girl was riding on it until it fell.
The girl got off of it "aw its broken" she said.
"Nora please dont ever do that again" the guy that she saw that was with the orange hair girl last night said.
He looked and saw that Nora who was the girl name went ahead and picked up a golden rook piece and placed it on her head.
"I'm queen of the castle, I'm queen of the castle" Nora sang.
"Nora!!" the boy yelled.
"Coming Ren" Nora said to the boy now know sa Ren.
Uh did that girl just ride on a Ursa" Yang said they then heard a noise.
"Oh great now what" Maki said as she was getting annoyed at all of the crazy stuff that was happening around them.
They looked and saw that Pyrrha was running away from the giant death stalker and she jumped and rolled out of the way.
"Jaune" Pyrrha yelled.
"Pyrrha over here!!" Jaune said.
"Is that your partner" Yuji asked.
"Yeah thats her" Jaune said as Pyrrha wasted little time and ran up next to Jaune and Yuji.
"Uh did you just run all the way here with a death stalker on your tail" Blake said.
"Ugh I can't take it anymore can everybody chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens again!!" Yang yelled.
"Relax blondie no need to loose a blood vessel" Maki said to her older sister she then turned look at Megumi.
"Hey Megumi do you have any ideas?" Maki asked her twin brother.
Megumi thought about something and he turned to look at Weiss.
"Schnee do you think you can hold the deathstalker in place with your semblance" Megumi looked at Weiss.
"Yes I believe so" Weiss said.
"Good while its stuck in one place one of us needs to cut its tail off cutting off its options of attack and we would have a easier time taking it out" Megumi said.
"Not a bad plan little brother well Schnee lets see what you can do" Maki said to Weiss.
Weiss huff as she twirled around and got down on one knee and she created a gravity glyph under the deathstalker freezing it in place.
Ruby and Miwa then ran and with their speed they went up to the deathstalker and with multiple slashes from their weapons they were easily able to slice its claws off.
The deathstalker roared in pain as it leaned upwards as it did that Miwa had gathered her aura around her sword and her aura covered the sword making her sword light blue. Once that happen Miwa went up and did a upward swing with her sword. Once that happened it wasn't long until she cut the deathstalker in half.
"Woah she managed to take down that deathstalker in a single strike" Yang said.
Maki smirked it just as she thought it seems like her partner was stronger then she thought.
"Hey guys look out" Yuji called out to Ruby and Miwa. Both of the teens looked up in the air and saw that the nevermore was about to unleash a attack.
"Hang on" Ruby said as she grabbed Miwa.
"Huh" Miwa started to say and then Ruby sped up carrying Miwa leaving a trail of rose petals behind as the Nevermore launch feathers at the girls but thanks to Ruby the attack wasn't suscessful.
Ruby and Miwa then regrouped with everyone and Miwa felt a little dizzy.
"Oh sorry about that" Ruby said as she rubbed the back of her head and gave Miwa a apologetic smile.
"Oh uhhh its fine thanks for helping me getting out of harms way from the Nevermore attack" Miwa said as she shook her head and gathered herself a bit.
Jaune and Yuji then saw that the nevermore was circling back to them.
"Uh guys that thing is circling back what do we do" Jaune said.
"Our objective is to grab a chess piece and return to the top of the cliff we dont have to fight the nevermore" Megumi calmly said.
"He right our mission is to grab a artifact and make it back to the cliffs there no point in fighting these things" Ruby said.
"Run and live that is an idea I can get behind" Jaune said as everybody else gotten a chest piece.
"Alright I think its time we get moving" Yuji said.
"Right lets go" Ruby said as everyone ran and followed her and Maki and Blake saw Yang was just standing there.
"Yo blondie something wrong" Maki said to her older half sister.
As Yang looked at Ruby and she was proud that Ruby was getting comfortable and was starting to become a leader.
"Nah nothing wrong at all" Yang said as she ran and Blake and Maki ran after her.
It wasn't long until the group ran farther into the ruins area and they hid once they did they saw the Nevermore land on a pillar and started to yell.
"Well thats great" Yang said as Megumi. wasted little time and created Nue once again and Megumi sent the shadow bird right after the Nevermore.
"Nora help distract it" Ren said as the group started to run Nue and the Nevermore battled in the air and Nue got some hits off of the Nevermore with its claws until the nevermore knocked Nue away.
Nora wasted little time and fired gernades from her weapon and the gernades went ahead and hit the nevermore.
The Nevermore screamed in pain as it flew away and that gave the group enough time to run across the bridge as they did the Nevermore circle backed and slammed into the bridge.
"Oh great" Maki said she then looked at Weiss as Megumi once again created Nue but this time it was bigger and he jump on his back and Maki looked at Weiss.
"Hey Schnee you mind giving me a boost with your glyphs" Maki said to Weiss.
Maki then ran and jumped off the bridge and Weiss created multiple glyphs and Maki land and jumped from one glyph to the other and at the same time Blake swung around with her rope and Megumi was on Nue in the air and it wasn't long until all three jump and landed on the Nevermore.
Megumi, Maki and Blake wasted little time and the three of them went ahead and quickly slashed multiple times at the nevermore and the nevermore screamed in pain. As it flew lower Blake Megumi jump down and landed next to the group.
"Damn that thing thougher then it looks" Maki said.
"Yeah but we must have gave it a lot of damage its getting weaker" Megumi said.
"Then let's hit it with everything we got" Yang said.
After that that the group began to fire multiple rounds at the Nevermore in the case of Megumi Miwa and Maki they used multiple aura slashes. The Nevermore dodged most of the attacks and the Nevermore destroyed the platform.
Causing the group to jump up from rock to rock. Yuji and Yang used their shot gaunlets to prepel themselves in the air until they landed back on the bridge and went back to attacking the Nevermore.
"None of this working" Weiss said.
"What are we going to do this Nevermore is very resliant" Miwa said.
Ruby saw Blake landing and getting into position and she saw Yuji and Yang continue shooting at the Nevermore.
"I have a plan cover me" Ruby said as Megumi Maki and Miwa covered for her at the same time Yuji and Yang continues to fire round after round causing the Nevermore to come closer to them.Once the Nevermore opened its mouth the duo jumped and landed on its open mouth and fired a lot of shots from its mouth.
"I hope you're hungry!!" Yang said.
She and Yuji then flip and landed on the ground as the Nevermore due to the damage it took. Flew head straight into the wall.
The two of them saw Weiss and she used her glyphs to increase her speed and she guided towards the Nevermore and froze its tail.
Weiss flip back and Blake threw grambol shroud at Yang and she stuck the weapon at at pillar with her ribbon connecting the pillars.
"I see so that's what they are planning to do I will admit that's an interesting plan" Megumi said.
Ruby then used crescent rose to propel herself onto the rope and Weiss used a gravity glyph to help Ruby in her momentum.
"Well this is an interesting a plan I'll give you that" Weiss said.
"Think you can make the shot" Ruby asked.
"Hmph what a ridiculous question Ruby of course I can" Weiss said as she got into a stance and the glyph turned red as Ruby was launched into the air.
Ruby shot herself forward until she put crescent rose at the bottom of the Nevermore head and she was on the cliff.
Weiss then created glyphs which help Ruby climb up the cliff and once she reached the top she cut off the Nevermore head.
"Wow that was incredible" Miwa said
"Well red not half bad seems like this year going to be interesting right Megumi" Maki said to his twin brother.
"I guess so hopefully this year won't give me too much of a headache" Megumi said as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Well that was something" Yang said to everyone else.
"I'll say but that was pretty awesome you and Ruby were amazing Weiss you two make a good team" Yuji said as he smiled at Weiss causing her to blush a bit.
"I-I suppose I will admit Ruby is a capable fighter despite her age" Weiss said.
Yuji grinned even though she acts like a spoiled rich kid, Yuji knows that she really is a nice person deep down.
After that moment everybody managed to make it back on top of the hill and after that everybody was at the theater room as Gojo was announcing the teams.
"Next we have Megumi Fushiguro, Maki Fushiguro, Katsumi Miwa and Yuji Itadori" Gojo called out to them as they walked up on stage.
"You four picked up the black pieces and you four will be known as team KIMM lead by Megumi Fushiguro congrats" Gojo said as he gave team KIMM a thumbs up.
"Awesome Megumi I know you're going to be a great leader for us!" Yuji said as he gave Megumi a pat on his back.
"Well Megumi I can't say I'm shocked your our leader just don't forget I'm still the older one between us" Maki said as she rubbed Megumi head.
Megumi rolled his eyes at his older twin sister antics and he then looked at Miwa.
"Congratulations Megumi I promise I won't be a burden to you or our team" Miwa said.
Megumi nodded he could tell Miwa might have some confidence issues he might have to work on that for her at some point during the year.
After they left the stage Gojo called up Jaune Pyrrha Nora and Ren.
"Jaune Arc, Lie Ren, Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie you four got the four rook pieces from this day forward you four will be know as team JNPR" Gojo said as Nora gave Ren a hug happy that she was on the same team as him.
"Lead by Jaune Arc" Gojo said.
"Uh I.." Jaune said.
"Oh don't be shy you earned it, I'm expecting big things from you" Gojo said as he gave Jaune a thumbs up
Pyrrha punched Jaune shoulder as a way of her saying good job but for Jaune he was knocked back down from the punch.
"Awesome way to go Jaune!!" Yuji said as he cheered his friend for becoming leader.
"Finally Blake Belladonna, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee and Yang Xiao Long now you four have gotten the four white knight pieces, from this day forward you will work together as team RWBY and yes the team is named after Ruby but hey naming teams is harder then it looks" Gojo said earning a giggle from Ruby Yang and a few others among crowd.
"Anyway your team will be lead by Ruby Rose" Gojo said shocking Ruby.
Yuji ran up to Ruby and rubbed her head "hey that's awesome Ruby!!" Yuji said.
"I'm so proud of you" Yang said.
"Well I will say this year is going to be interesting" Gojo said he will say he does see a lot of potential in some of the first years. With the amount of training in the incoming months he will bring them in to his inner circle because he believes they have what it takes to help him stop Salem and protect the world from her evil.
