Chapter 1

Disclaimer: I don't own Akame Ga Kill or Star Wars

A/N: Hi, this is my first time writing a fanfiction. I always enjoyed reading fanfiction and was inspired to write my own.

This story may be kind of strange but it gradually will make sense later.

I hope you enjoy reading.

"I Will Slay You!'' Akame yelled from above Esdeath who had a face of shock and astonishment. As Akame slashed her diagonally across the torso.

"It seems that you won Ms. Red-eyed Assassin, for now," Esdeath said with a look of defeat.

Due to the misfortune of underestimating her, Esdeath realized it was time for her untimely death and fell into the hands of the Grim Reaper. But instead, she makes one last thought with a conniving smirk she slowly limps towards Tatsumi whose body is loitered on the cold stone floor.

Esdeath speaks quietly "Maybe I will love you again somewhere else Tatsumi." with a small smile, she slowly cultivates the last bit of her ice powers to cover her and Tatsumi together.

Akame yells "What are you doing Esdeath, leave Tatsumi's body to rest!" but receives no answer but a small snicker from Esdeath.

Without listening, with the snap of a finger. The ice surrounding Esdeath and Tatsumi disappeared into oblivion, with no trace that either of the two even existed. Akame silently sheds tears as her friend was really gone and had no proper burial.

In a way, it reminded Akame of all the other friends she lost along the way. Finally turning off her warrior persona and showing her vulnerable side she began to hysterically cry due to all the past events.

Including the death of her sister Kurome which was done by her own hands. Oh, how she wished everything could have been reversed but this is the present and nothing could change the results of the past.

Akame says to no one " I wish I could see you guys one last time, I hope you're not having fun without me." with silenced sobs Akame cries her heart away.

In her episode of grief, Akame blamed herself and the Gods for everything that happened in her life. From a young age, she and her sister were sold to the Empire like fish on a silver platter.

With this deeply ingrained in her brain. Akame learned the harsh ways of reality and learned that society is not as happy and outgoing as she thought it to be. With no family figures, Akame had to raise herself and her sister by learning skills that no child had to experience at the young age of 9.

Akame wished they never had to take the dangerous life-risking survival examination with Danger Beasts. She wished they never had to become assassins for the Empire's own gain. She wished she never had to part ways with her sister due to witnessing the dark truth about the Empire.

She wished she had never been a part of Night Raid, because now she will always hear their voices, their screams, their pleas, their agony for her to help them. Now, her nightmares will be full of chaos and nights of cold sweats with occasional shrieks of hysteria.

For now, she must maintain composure, but how could that even be possible if everyone she knew was dead? She decided that she needed to calm down and cry later so for now, she will celebrate the victory of the revolution with her boss Najenda, who she was glad was still alive.

"I'm very glad we won the revolution boss." Akame contently says with an exhausted smile to Najenda who could only nod in agreement.

"I'm glad you made it alive Akame, I'm glad I'm not alone," Najenda says back with a hint of melancholy. " You and I have been together since the beginning haven't we," she says with a small grin.

" I know boss, it was a tiring and tragic process but we managed to do it, we managed to defeat the evil ways of the Empire," Akame says with a grin of her own.

" Boss, now what do we do? Since the Empire is saved are you no longer gonna be my boss?" Akame says with a face of gloominess.

"Unfortunately yes, I think now that the Empire is saved. I will have to let you go since our business with each other is over." Najenda says in a tone of despondence.

"Alright, it was a pleasure working for you boss, or should I say Najenda since you no longer will be." Akame says with a small smile.

Najenda laughs a bit "Hahaha, you know I always liked you Akame, you're a real fierce fighter and I know times are miserable right now but trust me you saved the Empire and I for sure know that everyone up there is proud of you."

" I know boss, but I wish everyone could be here to see that we actually won." Akame says with a sad smile. " well, I will probably look for another mission and also I need to find a cure for myself since I had to use Murasame's Trump Card."

" Alright, good luck Akame safe travels, and if you ever need help send me a letter," Najenda says with contentment. " Ok I will be sure to do that," Akame says with a salute.

Akame visits Kurome's grave where she discusses what happened with the revolution. Discussing the comrades she lost and the aftershock of the events that unfolded. She brought Kurome's favorite flowers and snacks along with her. Which were the Black Mamba petunia and jelly-filled cookies.

"I hope you won't be too sad that I will be gone for a while, you see I used my trump card during my fight with Esdeath and now I have to find a cure for myself, otherwise I will succumb to the effects of the poison of Murasame. The snacks will probably give you company while I'm away so I wish you well. I love you." she said with a slightly choppy voice due to the small sniffles she had while silently sobbing.

After her short visit to pay respects to her sister, she made her way back to researching a cure.

Akame searched in the deepest parts of the Empire to find anything she could about her katana Murasame. She searched everywhere libraries, apothecaries, pharmacies, even stores with rare ingredients. Hell, she even tried the black market and was unsuccessful in finding anything related to Murasame.

Months and months have passed as she still had no real concrete answer for where to find a cure for herself. The only thing she could find were temporary drug pills but those were still a hassle to get since herbs and ingredients were rare to cultivate and limited in her case.

She finally found a book under the Prime Minister's trap door which was a spiraling stairwell that led down toward a room with several books locked in a glass bookcase. This must be where all the darkest and most secretive books are located she thought in her mind.

The typical nature of the corrupted and greedy Prime Minister. How she wished he was having a fun time in hell working tirelessly as a powerless slave for the Lord of Hell's bidding.

With no hesitation, she broke off the lock and took all the books in said bookcase and practically absorbed the knowledge of the books she stole. Skimming across various books titled "How To Manipulate a Child, Under the Royal Throne", "Implementing Unfair Tax Policies 101", "100 Ways to Publically Execute People", and "Slavery Pro's and Cons",

She read until she came across the book she was searching for "Secrets of Imperial Arms No One Knows".

She read bits and pieces about the Demon's Extract and found out there was still one more remaining knowing real well that Esdeath was the only one that possessed it but this was interesting news. Maybe she could possibly find the other one and drink from it she pondered.

She also came upon the Cross Tail with a deep interest due to her fascination with the Teigu and how beautiful of a weapon it was to her. She found out that there was a second prototype called Arachne's Offering, but instead of being made with metal, it was developed with spider string that the user had to drink from which the spider thread could come out from every part of the body. The spider threads were also unbreakable with not even an elephant's weight heavy enough to break it.

Maybe she could find this prototype as well, along with the Demon's Extract.

With this in mind, she thought of ideas such as puppetry, creating a variety of weapons, and creating spider webs laced with neurotoxins but decided on the latter and negotiated with herself that she could probably do it some time later.

Finally, she came across the page titled Murasame and began to absorb everything that was on paper.

She read that there was an island called Jinwa Island which held the ancestral roots of how Murasame came to be. And possibly found the answer that she was looking for in the process of finding a permanent cure.

Akame closes the book as she tucks it into her backpack. Along with a book she found as a souvenir called "1000 Rare Sword Katas and Techniques" indicating that she would practically learn these techniques and katas at a different time.

She begins to walk to the stairwell and feels chills as she sees another secret room on the right side of the room. It looked perfectly camouflaged but as she caught a glimpse of the title of all the books.

All of them looked eerily similar and she went to go investigate. With her suspicions answered she realized the books had the same exact titles as each other and toggled a random book, which casually opened the concealed room.

There were two mysterious rooms one felt ominous, while the other she felt a shiver travel up her spine.

She decided to go with the one that sent her shivers. She holds the doorknob as her hands start to harbor sweat, she opens the door and feels a gust of icy wind blow across her face

Instantly feeling hypothermic, a distance away from her she saw that there was a vial labeled The Ice Age. She shivered her way towards the vial, and held the vial in her hand, and quickly drank from it. She gagged as she tasted the most vile and bitter drink she ever consumed. It tasted like a combination of durian and kusaya.

She felt normal after a while but the after-effects quickly struck her as she crumbled to the floor curling up in a ball as her stomach and intestines felt like they were about to be ripped out. Convulsing on the floor, with the liquid flowing through her as she felt even worse than the time she slit her own arm with Murasame.

Her heart beat rapidly as her vision blurred and black spots formed. Her eyes begin to dwindle as her eyelids shut and roll to the back of her head as she lays on the floor unconscious.

A couple of hours pass as Akame regains consciousness, adorning a look of shock as she thought she was dead.

She quickly got up from the dusty floor walked in front of a mirror and jumped back due to fright.

She looked at her body as her skin was practically white as snow with a strange marking across the middle of her chest. Her hair was still the same but had strands with white tips on the end. She touched her hand and felt an instant chill. She also still had the curse from Murasame, so no surprise there.

So, does this mean that she obtained the powers from the vial she consumed, she thought? She decided to test this theory out and only a small snowflake came out of her fingertips.

She cursed herself because of course, she had to train this new power of hers before she could be deadly with it.

She began to walk out of the room and towards the more ominous one.

She opened the door that practically oozed with malice and eerieness which held a chalice with what looked like a violet-purple colored liquid labeled Arachne's Offering. She thought to herself this must be the prototype for the Cross Tail and with no hesitation, she courageously gulps the strangely colored liquid.

Although this one tasted slightly better, the reaction still hit faster than the other vial she consumed. Her lungs burned up, as she felt like she inhaled sulfuric dioxide, the veins in her throat practically turned an amethyst shade. Her central nervous system felt like it was stung by wasps repeatedly.

But as instantly as the pain came it calmly vanished as she gasped for oxygen. As her senses began to clear up she felt her vision and sense of hearing to be ten times better. Even having the possibility to see 360 degrees, and her hearing was able to hear the ants crawling on the ground and the occasional breeze of wind.

With that in mind, she accidentally sent out a tiny web that she had no control over. And said that she would have to train this new power as well.

But for now, she decided finding the cure was more important than the new powers she possessed so she left the room.

As Akame grew closer to the coast she could practically taste the salt from the ocean flutter onto her tongue as she grew closer and closer to the glimmering cerulean blue sea.

The horizon was as clear as day with no clouds in sight, but weather was often unpredictable and anything can happen in any given moment. With that said, she still decided to rent out a boat.

Akame was smoothly sailing across the sea until dark grey clouds started to form overhead and soon a typhoon ensued with water spouts forming in all directions visible. Thunder could be heard booming, with wind spiraling in high speeds. Waves formed as high as tsunamis, as lightning crackled down with fury.

Akame never succumbed to fear but witnessing this harrowing event had her slightly on edge. She gulped as lightning struck her ship. Ripping a hole into the sail. Waves flooded the deck causing the boat to lose balance. She couldn't hear anything other than the howling wind, the rumbling thunder, and the crying lightning.

Is this how her life ends? Is this divine intervention from the gods? Did they hear her scrutiny? Did they spite her? It for sure looked like it if all the elements were against her? All she wanted was to find a cure for herself and carry on with her life but what did she get in return? A capsized ship and her own body left for sharks to harvest on.

Oh well, at least she will be able to see Tatsumi and the others unless she's going somewhere else. That would be an outrage since she had good morals and rid the world of evil.

Suddenly she hears a crack, as lightning crashes upon her, and as she closes her eyes waiting for the inevitable, she vanishes.
