Guest: here you go.
Cantreadorwrite69: Thanks.
xXwolfsterXx644: Cheers.
boogbryant98 phs2016: Thanks.
Azure Dragon of the East: Thankfully, they've gone back to normal.
sniperbro1998: Well, all I'll say is that the areas have grown very, VERY small in the two years since Jakob's escape. So Odin may have soon realized that Jakob is hiding in America. That's all I'll say.
Guest02957: Jakob will get the Blades of Chaos. Wouldn't be a God of War crossover without those really, and they'll look more like the fully upgraded blades from God of War 4.
Godofwar01: Yep.
Guest: Oh... don't think he won't do that. She's assigned to watch him, so he may make that comment at some point.
daniyalyaqoob596: Looks like they've gone back to normal, thank God.
pawnofriasgremory: Well, I hope so. I'm a little tired of people demanding new chapters nearly every day. I get that this is a well favoured story, but sometimes I don't take too well to people instantly wanting another. They should be content with the near 40 chapters that this story alreadt features.
Bromega2477: Damn right. Especially when it comes to Gods, who demand it because of who they are, that they shoudl be given the respect.
Daua002: Thanks.
Main Bastich: I'm debating. Though, are you asking because her older sister is in the harem?
Disclaimer: I do not own God of War or Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I only own the OC Jakob Thorsson.
Jakob stood with his arms crossed, while his friends stood by him. A few feet away were Artemis and the Hunters, currently awaiting the arrival of Artemis' younger twin brother, Apollo. Artemis had called him to bring them to Camp Half-Blood.
"How are you not freezing?" Bianca asked, looking at Jakob with wide eyes, seeing that he only wore a tanktop underneath his coat. And yet he stood there as if there wasn't any cold winds biting at their skin at the moment.
Jakob just shrugged. "I've dealt with colder places than this."
"Aye, and if you think the chilling winds of Midgard are bad..." Mimir scoffed out a laugh. "You should visit Helheim or Niflheim. Those two make the cold of Anataetica look like a warm paradise in comparison."
"What-heim?" Bianca frowned., confused at the name.
"It's one of the Nine Realms that's part of Norse Mythology." Andromeda explained to her. "Trust me, we should get you through Greek stuff before getting started on Norse. We don't even know everything ourselves since Jakob's not really told us. Or Mimir."
"Hey, we've been busy if you haven't noticed." Mimir defended. "And things seem to get in the way. But since we mentioned it, I'll explain. Niflheim is the Realm ofFog and Ice. The first of two primordial realms in creation."
"What's the other?" Nico asked curiously.
"That would be Muspelheim, little brother. The fire Realm. And it's in that realm that the fire Giant, Surtr, dwells." Mimir said, ever happy to answer questions and explain the legends and myths of the Norse culture.
"Niflheim is nothing but a barren and frozen wasteland, the warmest it gets is forty degrees below freezing. That's not counting how it has eleven poisonous rivers running through it, so you also can't drink the water unless you want to die. And of course the poisonous mist that slowly kills you the longer you stay inside it, plus anything there that manages to survive and wants to kill you." Jakob explained, much to the Di Angelo siblings' shock shock and nervousness at such a place existing.
"And why were you there?!" Bianca asked, wonder why Jakob would ever go to such places.
"Part of my father's training." Jakob said bitterly, looking away.
"…Your dad sounds like a dick." Stated Nico, only to yelp when Bianca smacked him on the head.
"Nico!" Bianca hissed, even though she agreed that Jakob's father sounded like a bastard for forcing him into such a place alone, but that didn't mean she'd tolerate Nico swearing.
"That's putting it mildly." Said Jakob with a small, amused smirk.
"So, are you finally going to tell us more about your kind and others?" Annabeth asked with eager curiosity. Given that she was the Daughter of Athena, it was in her blood to learn and know.
Jakob sighed but nodded. "Yes. But don't think that will interrupt the training I have in store for all of you."
"Annie, you really need a better hobby." Said Thalia with a deadpan expression, wishing her friend would get other hobbies than reading books or studying architecture.
"My hobbies are just fine!" Retorted Annabeth, letting out a huff, before everyone's attention turned forward when the sky started lighting up.
"About time. He's so lazy during the winter." Artemis muttered in annoyance at her twins slowness.
"Have you considered having a giant wolf chase him. I'm sure Sköll wouldn't mind chasing a different sun for a while. Though it'll probably be a much shorter chase." Said Jakob, causing the Moon Goddess to look at him in annoyance.
"I see you have the same enjoyment of causing conflict as the rest of your kind." Said Artemis, the redhead shrugging in response.
"Just part of my charm, Kid. Though, do you really have the right to judge me on causing conflict, given your Pantheon's track record with causing it?" Jakob asked rhetorically, with Zoe now giving him an annoyed look as well.
"Silence, boy." She demanded.
"Make me, sweetheart." Jakob smirked at her, further annoying the goddess and her Hunter, only for everyone to see a burst of light on the horizon.
"Everyone, but the annoying one, look away until he parks!" Said Artemis, with the Hunters all quickly turning away along with the demigods and satyr.
"Hey, sorry, she said for you to not look away." Jakob said while looking in the direction of a certain hunter, causing said hunter to glare at him.
"Thou will be silent, boy! The same goes to you, Grace!" Zoe retorted before glaring at Thalia when she began snickering.
"You're the one who responded, Nightshade. I guess that means you already know how annoying you are." Thalia said tauntingly, enjoying the chance to get under her skin.
"She's right. I was just looking in your general direction, so I could've been looking at someone else, but you assumed I was talking to you. Something you wanna share, Princess?" Questioned Jakob with his smirk growing, while Zoe looked ready to shoot them both.
"Gods, there's two of them." Muttered Annabeth, not liking how similar Jakob and Thalia already were in annoying people, already feeling the coming headaches. Why did those two have to get along so well?
"Does this happen often?" Bianca asked, looking at the Daughter of Athena before glancing between Thalia and Zoe, seeing how the two really didn't seem to like each other.
"Only when they're around each other." Replied Grover.
The bright light soon faded, letting everyone turn back to see a red convertible Maserati Spyder, with all the snow around it melting in a perfect circle. With the driver stepping out.
With the driver was tall, looking to be seventeen or eighteen-years-old, with wavy, sandy blonde hair, tanned skin, sunny blue eyes, and outdoorsy good looks. Along with wearing simple jeans, loafers, and a sleeveless t-shirt.
"So, that's Apollo?" Andromeda asked.
"He's hot, though not as hot as Jakob." Thalia said with a smirk as Annabeth, Andromeda and even Bianca blushed. Jakob glanced at her with a look but she just shot him a smirk in response.
"Lil sis! What's up? You never call. You never write. I was getting worried!" Apollo said, smiling brightly at his sister, with Artemis sighing in annoyance.
"I'm fine, Apollo, and right now in no mood for games because of him!" Said Artemis, pointing at the Son of Thor, not in the mood for Apollo's attempts to annoy her.
"Because of who-oh, hey Aesir!" Apollo greeted Jakob with a grin, making the Asgardian demigod raise an eyebrow as the God of the Sun walked over. "Been looking forward to meeting you."
"Well, I sure remember that annoying voice." Mimir piped up, making Apollo blink before Jakob held up the head much to Apollo's surprise. "So, been a while, hasn't it?"
"Oh, not you." Apollo groaned, not liking this. "And what happened to you? Last time I saw you, you had a body. Did you get aHEAD of yourself a little too often and get punished for it?"
"Terrible pun." Jakob deadpanned at him.
"How about I call for Sol, eh? See if she'd like to see you again." Mimir asked with a grin, causing Apollo's eyes to widen.
"Please don't!" Apollo whimpered, looking around fearfully as if expecting Sol herself to come down.
"Apollo, enough!" Artemis sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "I need them and my hunters taken to Camp Half-Blood, and you to watch the Aesir since I have-"
"Uh, sis, you should know that father ordered YOU to watch him." Apollo said, still looking fearfully in Jakob and Mimir's direction. "And you and I both know he doesn't like his orders to be ignored. You and Athena may be his favourite daughters, but you should know he's dead serious when making orders concerning... certain people."
Artemis growled in annoyance, upset that she couldn't figure out an easy way out of her 'babysitting' duties to go hunt down the monster. But she knew her father would not take too kindly to his orders being dismissed, especially when it concerns the Aesir. Favourite daughter or not, he would not be happy if she believed something to be more important than his orders.
Her father and his damn ego.
"Fine!" She crossed her arms with a huff.
Apollo snapped his fingers, and the Maserati Spyder soon transforming into a large shuttle bus, big enough to fit all the Hunters and the demigods.
"Everybody inside, we're burning daylight!" Said Apollo as the doors opened, allowing everyone to file inside. "Though if the ladies need any help-"
"Touch me, and I'll kick you in the balls." Thalia threatened, making Apollo back away quickly from her. "Can't stand assholes and their stupid flirting."
"Well, I do know a giant wolf who devours gods." Jakob said as they got onto the bus, Thalia looking like she was contemplating the idea of this wolf being set on Apollo.
"Do not!" Annabeth cut in, knowing who Jakob was talking about.
It wasn't long before everyone was inside, with the Hunters all moving to sit in the back together, making Jakob shake his head before looking at Artemis.
"Good job isolating impressionable, young girls from the rest of society to the point they think everyone else is diseased, truly, bravo. Out of curiosity, would they choose dying over accepting help from a guy? Or would they accept help from such "lowly" beings, Kid?" Jakob asked, with Artemis growling lowly at him.
"There is nothing wrong with my Hunters! And I am not a kid!" Retorted Artemis, angered at the insult to her Hunters.
"Have you looked in a mirror? You'll see a kid looking back." Jakob said, taking a seat beside Bianca, while Artemis looked ready to shoot him before taking a few deep breaths and sat behind her brother.
"Drive, now." Artemis ordered, Apollo quickly nodding in response before sitting in the driver's seat and started it, with the bus soon taking off into the sky.
"So…what was that exactly, back there? Mimir, how do you know Apollo?" Thalia asked after a few moments, raising an eyebrow.
Jakob held Mimir up for him to explain. "Ah, well, that relates to an incident that happened... oh, about two thousand years ago. This also involves the Norse Goddess of the Sun, Sol. A lovely woman, and fierce when angry. Isn't that right, Apollo? Shall we explain what happened?" Mimir asked eagerly.
"No." Apollo said quietly, remember exactly what happened while Artemis just covered her face in embarrassment.
"I'll take that as a yes. So, I met Apollo when he was in the midst of flirting with Sol, trying to bed her. I told him off about it, but he was ever so persistant. Sol, however, already had enough men trying to woo her when she wasn't interested. Sol then tricked Apollo into believing she was returning his advances and convinced him to turn into her, which was just a trick as she was able to get Sköll to chase after Apollo for a while. Except, he didn't have her experience in avoiding the wolf, so he was able to catch up pretty quickly. And when Sköll caught up, he…well, let's say got a new stick and balls to play with." Said Mimir with a laugh, much to their shock before Thalia and Andromeda began laughing, with Annabeth and Bianca covering their mouths to stop their own giggles from escaping, the Hunters overall reactions being a mix of the two, while Grover and Nico subconsciously crossed their legs in horror.
"I do so enjoy hearing that story." Jakob said with a smirk. "I remember Sol telling me that one."
"It's not funny! Do you know how long it took it to regrow?! Hell, that wolf is meant to eat gods, so I was lucky that it even grew back in the first place!" Apollo said, shivering at the phantom pains, even worse was that he became terrified to fly the Sun Chariot for a while, afterwards, not wanting to risk encountering Sol or Sköll again.
"Father said you deserved it for trying to interact with another Pantheon. You were honestly lucky that he was in a good mood at the time and felt that was punishment enough." Said Artemis, with an almost unnoticeable smirk, having enjoyed seeing her brother taken down a few pegs.
"If it's any consolation, she still remembers your screams fondly." Mimir said, the Sun God giving him a dirty look in the mirror while muttering to himself.
"O-ok-okay…wh-what about Sköll? Who's that?" Bianca asked after taking a few moments to calm down, interested in hearing more about the Pantheon Jakob came from.
"Sköll and Hati, they're the sons of Fenrir, the grandsons of Loki. They chase after Sol and Mani, the God of the Moon, which lead to the creation of night and day. And they're destined to finally catch and devour them both in the beginning of Ragnarök." Said Annabeth.
"Correct!" Mimir said happily at her answer. "But that's only part of the story. Odin had known Sköll and Hati were Fenrir's children, and Fenrir was destined to devour him during Ragnarök, so Odin had both of them chained up as pups to keep Fenrir at bay. Though, when Sol and Mani grew mutinous and stood still, refusing to drive their chariots across the sky, he used his ancient magic to cast the wolves into the heavens and they began the chase. And long shall they chase, but not endlessly, for it is foretold that someday Sköll and Hati will catch and devour their prey. And that day shall be Ragnarök, the twilight of the gods."
"Wait…he knew that the wolves devouring the sun and moon would start Ragnarök, which is when he dies, why did he release them?" Thalia asked in confusion, wondering why anyone would set into motion the events of their own potential demise.
"And that's the question isn't it, why. And the answer is rather simple, it's about control. The wolves determine when Ragnarök begins and now he controls the wolves. Odin believes that a battle fought on his timetable is a battle he stands a better chance at winning." Replied Mimir, the Greek demigods frowning at this.
"Is this just like how he does all he kind to advert Ragnarök or at least influence the outcome?" Annabeth asked, recalling Mimir mentioning something along those lines a couple of years back during the Master Bolt quest.
"Aye." Mimir would nod if he could.
It wasn't long before the sun chariot arrived at Camp Half-Blood, Apollo having it land on the shore of the lake.
"Ah, another happy landing! Alright kiddies, we have reached our destination, all passengers please exit the vehicle!" Said Apollo smiling brightly as he opened the doors, with the demigods and satyr exiting first followed by Artemis, Apollo, and the Hunters.
"Whoa. Is that a climbing wall?!" Nico asked as they got off the bus, looking around the camp in amazement.
"Why is there lava pouring down it?" Bianca questioned warily at seeing lava pouring down the climbing wall.
"It adds an extra challenge. Come on, we need to get you two introduced to Chiron and Mr. D." Thalia replied, motioning them to follow her, Andromeda and Annabeth.
"Zoe, take the girls to Cabin Eight and get settled in. We're going to be here for a while." Said Artemis with a sigh, knowing she'll have to remain here as long as Zeus orders her to watch Jakob.
"Yes, my Lady." Zoe said with a short bow.
"I'll show you the way!" Offered Grover, with the Lieutenant looking at him annoyance.
"We know the way." Said Zoe, not wanting to be around any campers longer than she needs to.
"Oh, really, it's no trouble. It's easy to get lost here, if you don't, like my old daddy goat used to say! Come on!" Grover said, tripping over a canoe before getting back up.
"This is too amusing." Jakob said with a smirk.
"Shut it!" Zoe glared at him.
"Oh look, she says something else other than 'silence'. She's adapting." Jakob teased, his smirk growing at seeing Zoe huff and puff out her nose before she stormed off with the Hunters following.
"Must you?" Artemis shot the son of Thor a glare.
Jakob just shrugged with a smirk, having always enjoyed getting a reaction out of people by taunting them to see what they'll do. Though part of him admits that it felt nice to have some control over others like that, given how little control he's had over his own life until his escape from Asgard. He liked the chance to have some control over others, no matter how little it was.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I have a girlfriend to meet, though I have a place to stop by first" Jakob said, and went off towards the cabins. Thalia, Annabeth, Andromeda and Bianca frowned a little in annoyance at hearing he had a girlfriend, even though the first three already knew this.
Didn't mean they weren't jealous it wasn't them that was the 'girlfriend'.
And that's it for this chapter. We're sure in The Titan's Curse arc, though with some changes, well two changes. Bianca not joining the Hunters, and Artemis staying at Camp to watch Jakob on Zeus' orders given Jakob's interactions with other pantheons lately and the killing of Khione. Also another change from the previous version of this is Andromed NOT joining the Hunters this time.
Since Jakob arrived earlier, Andromeda fell for him and has a reason to not join the Hunters.
