Disclaimer: I do not own God of War or Percy Jackson & The Olympians. I only own the OC Jakob Thorsson.

Later that day, Jakob was in the forest, alone. He took Mimir off from where he was hanging, placing him on a smooth tree stump before reaching behind him to take off the Blades of Chaos.

"Training with the blades, brother?" Mimir questioned curiously.

"I have to get a feel for them, know the proper style of fighting with them before I go into my next fight." Jakob said, since they were a weapon he hadn't wielded, he needed to quickly get used to using them. For there could be a time where he'd need to quickly switch between the Leviathan Axe and the Blades of Chaos, and he'd rather do so knowing how to wield the Blades.

He started with a three-swing combo, watching how the chains of the blades made for longer ranged slashes but not too far of course. He then did a four-swing combo, with the blades alit with fire when he stopped. Jakob hummed before he started going all out with the Blades, swinging in different ways, slashing the weapons through trees which toppled. Burn marks were left in the wake of the Blades on whatever they struck.

Jakob shot one blade out into a tree and pulled himself in, stabbing the other blade into the tree and ripping it into two. He watched the tree topple, then spun around while throwing the Blades out, slicing through more trees with ease.

"Hmm, nice." Jakob smirked a little, looking at the Blades.

"My, those blades would do quite well in Helheim if we ever end up there." Mimir commented, seeing the primordial fire of the Blades would be able to withstand the cold of the Realm of the Dead.

"Maybe, but it's a good thing we aren't going there anytime soon." Jakob said, sheathing the Blades on his back and walking over to Mimir, picking the head up and hooking him to his belt.

"Ah, for the best then." Mimir agreed. If he could nod, he would've. "I mean, you'd have to be pretty crazy or serious to visit Helheim of all places. I tell you, I don't miss seeing that place."

Jakob grunted in agreement while walking through the forest. He soon came to part of the camp but stopped when saw he was near the archery range, and that the Hunters of Artemis were busy training with Artemis overseeing them.

While he'd rather not deal with them at the moment, Artemis did come and watch his training, so it's only fair if he did the same to her Hunters.

"Excellent work, my Hunters. It's important that you all keep training, as my blessing only gets you so far before you grow stagnate. While you may be skilled now shooting at stationary targets, aiming at moving prey is far more difficult." Said Artemis, with several Hunters nodding in agreement with their mistress.

"Unless you're skilled enough to shoot so quick you hit the target before it even moves." Someone said, causing multiple Hunters to immediately aim their bows at who spoke.

With a few releasing their arrows when they saw it was Jakob leaning against a tree, only for the arrows to bounce off his lightning shield.

"And my point is proven." Said Jakob, making Artemis and her Hunters scowl at him.

"What are you doing here?!" Artemis demanded, not liking that he's watching her Hunters train.

"You watched my training, it's only fair I watch yours." Jakob said, pushing off the tree and approaching, only for Artemis to get in between him and her Hunters.

"Well, you aren't wanted. Now leave." Artemis ordered.

Jakob scoffed and simply stepped around her. "You really think I'm just going to do what you say? You Olympians always amuse me with how you think you can order and people what you want." He chuckled, not even flinching when Zoe held a knife up to his throat.

"My lady told thou to leave." She glared at him.

"First off, it's 'you;, get with the times. This isn't the Shakespeare days." Jakob said, before he suddenly gripped Zoe's hand faster than she could blink and pushed the knife away from his throat. "You need better reaction time, sweetheart. If I was going to kill you, that knife would be in your jugular."

"Do not call me, sweetheart!" Growled Zoe, reaching for her other hunting knife, only for Jakob to grab her other hand before she could.

"As the princess commands. What would you like to be called, princess?" Jakob said tauntingly, angering Zoe even further.

"Stop antagonising my Hunters, and do not threaten them in front of me." Artemis demanded, with Jakob rolling his eyes.

"I wasn't threatening them, I was educating her, something you clearly should've done. The next time your Hunter speaks, I'm gonna rip her throat out with my bare hand. That was a threat, see the difference, kid?" Jakob asked rhetorically to the Moon Goddess, who growled lowly and glared at him with her eyes glowing silver.

"Why do you insist on being such a nuisance?! And I am not a kid!" Artemis said, reaching her limit with constantly being called "Kid".

"You're the one that chooses to look like a kid, for some reason. Is it because you like being daddy's little girl to always get your way, or just an excuse to act like a spoiled brat?" Jakob said, fully turning to Artemis with narrowed eyes, no longer looking amused, while the Hunters glared at him for insulting their mistress.

While Artemis's eyes were nearly pure silver with how angry she was getting at the Son of Thor before her entire body was engulfed in a silver light. The sight making the Hunters instantly turn away, believing she'd actually chose to unleash her Divine Form to incinerate Jakob. Though when the light faded and nothing happened, the Hunters looked only for a few to be shocked at what they saw.

As in Artemis's place was now a tall and well-built young woman with moonlight pale skin, round, pale blue/silver eyes, and long white hair that went down to the middle of her back. With her wearing a silver armoured corset that showed off a decent amount of cleavage, showing her DD-sized breasts. She also wore thigh-high armored boots, along with a white silk robe connected at the hips and flowing around her long legs. She also had a silver necklace that hung at the valley of her breasts, and her silver bow.

"Is that... Lady Artemis?" One of the younger Hunters asked in shock and disbelief, shared with those who hadn't seen Artemis in this form.

"Yes. It's been centuries since the last time we've seen m'lady change into her adult form." Replied Zoe, not even remembering the last time Artemis looked like this.

"Do I look like a kid now?!" Artemis demanded while now looking down at Jakob with her new height, while hoping he did something to warrant her attacking or killing him.

Only for the Goddess of the Moon to feel even angrier, and begrudging respect, when he didn't even bat an eye or even glance down at her body. He just simply stared at her face with the same blank, disinterested look.

"Doesn't matter how old you make yourself look, you're still nothing but a spoiled, rotten brat." Jakob said, unfazed at her attempt to stun him.

Though he will admit she was very beautiful in her older form, but he's met Goddesses who were way more beautiful.

"And here I was assuming you would've been taught to show proper respect. Clearly, I overestimated the arrogance of your kind!" Growled Artemis, before being surprised when Jakob began laughing.

"Respect? Respect?! Why in the Hel would I ever show respect to someone like you?" Jakob laughed, amused that she believed she deserved respect from him.

"I am one of the Twelve Olympians, the Goddess of the Hunt. You should be lucky I haven't done my father a favour and killed you where you stand! Yet, you continue to try my mercy, insult me, antagonise my Hunters and now dare to laugh in my face!" Artemis snarled, feeling angrier than she has ever before at this insolent mortal.

Jakob's face went completely blank, all signs of humor disappearing in the blink of an eye. "Do you think that any of that... makes you entitled to my respect?" He asked in a low, dangerous tone while stepping closer to Artemis, who actually took a step back at the look in his eyes, feeling small under his gaze even though she was taller than him.

"There is only one Goddess of the Hunt that I respect, and she earned it through blood, sweat and tears while you were just handed everything. And she did all of it without a group of children following her around like lost puppies without purpose. She is the only one I will see and respect as Queen of the Hunt." Jakob said, glaring at Artemis. "Do you want to know what I really think of you, Artemis?"

Artemis was surprised at him using her name.

"You are one of the three Olympian Goddesses I have no respect for. The other two are Hera and Aphrodite., neither of whom have anything but my spite. And do you want to know why I have no respect for you, Artemis?" Jakob asked, with Artemis silent, unable to say anything in response. "It's because you are sexist and a hypocrite. You see all men as filth, lower than dirty, undeserving to breath the same air as women. That they betrayed and hurt women, see them only as toys to fuck and toss aside. While I can understand your wariness of men after being betrayed by the man you had feelings for-"

"I didn't have feelings for Orion!" Artemis hissed, but the Son of Thor looked unconvinced.

"Riiight, and your brother was afraid you'd break your vow. You say you never held any feelings for him, yet you went and made him into a constellation. And don't give me that crap that it's out of respect for a fellow hunter, you don't respect anyone. Oh sure, Orion was just a friend." Jakob said, rolling his eyes while Artemis glared at him. "But you were betrayed by a man you had feelings for and because of that, you believe every man is the same, no different than Orion. You even go so far as to curse someone that so much as stumbles upon your camp when you know they didn't even know you were there or existed. But you don't care, it's just another excuse for you to satisfy your 'men are evil' fetish. And you are a hypocite for calling yourself protector of maidens, that you see your Hunters as your own daughters, yet the second one of them breaks your rules, you don't listen to their side and toss them aside."

"I would never hurt any of my Hunters!" Artemis growled.

"Oh yeah? What about Kallisto?" Jakob asked with a raised eyebrow, while Artemis froze with wide eyes at the mention of her former best friend and Hunter. "Kallisto, you're lieutenant before sweetheart here. Your best friend. Her beauty caught your father's eye, and he forced himself upon her, even going so far as to disguise himself as you to lower her guard but when she refused him, he raped her and left her ashamed and pregnant. And what did you do? Didn't even understand her side of the story before throwing her away like a broken toy."

"Kallisto hid her pregnancy from me! If she had just came to me as soon as possible-" Artemis started, but Jakob cut her off.

"Oh, what would you have done? Still see it as a betrayal! You'd see it as her not refusing your father and accepting to lay with him, when you know full well what your father is like when women catch his attention." Jakob retorted, with Artemis going silent. "You might as well have killed her, because your protection, her service to you, was the only thing she had to protect her from Hera's wrath. After all, you should know what that bitch of a queen does to the women and children that are unfortunate to catch Zeus' eye, willing or not. if she told you and you released her, she'd have nothing to keep her safe from Hera. After all, didn't Hera curse your mother to not give birth to you and your brother on the ground?"

Artemis remained silent, eyes lowering to the ground as she refused to answer that, knowing he was right.

"You tossed Kallisto aside, threatened to kill her if she ever returned. A pregnant woman, scared out of her mind, betrayed by her best friend and, if what I've heard is true, the woman she loves." Jakob said, shaking his head as Artemis was in shock and horror, realizing he was right.

"Then there's Atalanta." Said Jakob, only for Artemis to stop him.

"I never did anything to Atalanta." Artemis said, with Jakob smiling coldly at her.

"Yeah, you never did anything to her or for her. She wasn't one of your Hunters, at least not officially, but she still worshipped you, followed you, believed in you. Hell, she idolized you. And yet, you did nothing to help her when she was forced into a marriage she didn't want." Jakob said, but was stopped again.

"It was her choice to give her hand to whoever beat her in a race, I'm not held responsible for her mistake in choosing to wed." Retorted Artemis.

"Yeah, a race she only lost because the coward that she was forced to marry cheated, throwing those stupid apples in front of her and forcing her to pick them up. And where did he get those apples? Who helped force Atalanta into a marriage she never wanted and lead to her getting cursed? That worthless excuse for a Love Goddess, Aphrodite!" Growled Jakob, surprising the Moon Goddess at the anger in his tone.

"I'm sure you can agree, how little she cares about anyone or anything, let alone the lives she ruins to make her little shipping fantasies come true. Even if one of the people, who's life she ruins, is already married. But I suppose that's expected when she constantly cheats on her husband, usually with his own damn brother most of time. Yet I can still understand that it was forced on her by Hera, but she could have at least tried working something out with Hephaestus. Instead, she doesn't even try and just jumps into bed with arguably one of the scummiest gods to satisfy her bad boy fetish. And even with her being a Love Goddess, she's so superficial with her own love-life, only caring about a guys physical appearance regardless of what they're actually like." Jakob said, stopping to try and calm down a little, knowing if he got too angry, then someone was going to die.

"And then, there's the lives she's ruined because of her stupid shipping fantasies. Because she'd rather put this guy with this woman, whether they already had a partner or not. It didn't matter as long as her sick fantasies were fulfilled. But wait, there's more! Let's talk about Medea, oh how that was the worst one she's ever done. She took an innocent girl and twisted her into a person regarded as a monster and a witch, someone to be blamed for every bad thing that happens just so everyone else can feel better about themselves. Forcing her to love someone she never even met before, turning her against her own family, killing her brother and cutting him into pieces just to distract her father. Only to then be tossed aside by the person she was forced to love, being left with nothing but hatred and fear, it's not even surprising she decided to keep sinking until she hit rock bottom, as what else did she have. And all of that, just because some human hero was favored by an even worse goddess, Hera." Jakob spat in complete disgust and anger.

"She acts like she's so much better than everyone else. That she's perfect. When in reality, she wishes everything was perfect the way she sees it, including her family. She has everyone believing her to be the scorned wife and queen of a known man-whore, when in reality she is just a vindictive, petty bitch who takes it out on the unlucky ones, like they asked to have sex with Zeus. She calls it justice, I call it pettiness. The women didn't ask for Zeus' attention, didn't ask to be impregnated, but no, Hera doesn't see it that way. And let's start with how so-called 'perfect' view of her family. She threw Hephaestus, her own son born from only herself, off of Olympus just because his physical appearance wasn't up to her standard. She drove Heracles insane and made him kill his own family, forcing him to do twelve labors to redeem himself, adding two more after refusing to acknowledge two of them he had help with or was paid for doing, simply out of spite. And then the numerous atrocities she's committed against every one of Zeus's demigods, none of whom ever asked to be born let alone decide who their father would be. Along with their mothers, not caring if any of them were willing or simply raped because gods forbid he takes "no" for an answer, when he can just take what he wants." Said Jakob, clenching his fists tightly while trying to contain his anger.

"And that's not even the worst of it. I could keep going about the atrocities those two commited. They were part of the reason the Trojan War began, all because of a stupid apple. I don't even know why Athena got involved, but I'm not gonna involve her since she had a modicum of my respect as a War Goddess. Let's see, oh, how about what Aphrodite did to Smyrna? Making her seduce her own father and then turning her into a tree before then sleeping with her son, after raising him as her own. Or what Hera did to Hecate's daughter Lamia, turning her into a monster and killing her children. Oh the list goes on and on, but I list everything then we'd be here for months, but I think you get the point of why I don't respect them and never will." Jakob said, then looked at Artemis.

"At least between the three of you, you're the better one of all three. But that isn't really saying much, is it? Because believe me, there's still a lot of things you've done I could bring up, as well." Said Jakob, with the Moon Goddess looking at him, unable to even describe all the emotions she's feeling right now.

"I..." Artemis started but went silent, too struck by the words that hit right at home, right at her very core. What they made her realize.

"Do you even regret what happened to Kallisto? Tossing her aside and leaving her defenceless? What about Atalanta? Do you regret not helping her when she prayed for your guidance and help, after following you, idolising you? Have you ever thought about them since what happened to them, or did you just not give a damn once they were no longer a concern? Jakob asked quietly, with Artemis flinching at each question.

Jakob scoffed before he glanced at the Hunters, having spoke low enough so they wouldn't hear what was said. Cruel as his words may be, and he may be a lot of things, but he wasn't going to break the pedestal the younger Hunters held Artemis on. Not when she was the only thing to a mother that they had.

"You and the rest of the Olympians can say whatever you want about the Aesir. That we're bloodthristy, violent, arrogant, I know who and what I am. What my family is. All Aesir know it and don't hide it. That's the difference between our kind, Olympian. We don't hide behind cloaks of righteousness and make ourselves out to be the good guys in the stories. And I see you for what you really are."

His piece said, Jakob brushed past her without another word, leaving the Goddess silent and just standing there, much to the concern of her Hunters.

"Lady Artemis?" Zoe stepped forward, concerned.

"I…I need to…take care of something girls, training's done for now. Zoe, make sure everyone gets back to the cabin." Said Artemis before quickly teleporting away, needing to be alone and try gathering her thoughts.

All while aware of the growing wetness in her eyes at realizing how much she hurt and failed those she was meant to protect.

Friday had finally arrived, and of course that meant Capture the Flag was being held, but rather than it being campers against campers, it was campers against the Hunters. It was going to be a small game: only thirteen Hunters, and about the same number of campers. Jakob had noticed how hard the campers were training as Friday approached, and he would've been impressed...

If it wasn't over some stupid game.

He also noticed the eagerness in the Hunters as Friday approached, as apparently they've got a winning streak.

At the moment though, Jakob was in meeting with the rest of the Camp Counselors along with several other campers as well, with the meeting having been called by Chiron. With all of them gathered in the rec room of the Big House around a ping-pong table.

"You all know in just a few short hours; we will be starting the Capture The Flag game against the Hunters. I've called you all here so that we may begin working on a plan to win." Said Chiron, looking at them all with a serious expression before it turned into a desperate, pleading one.

"Does anyone have a plan to win?! Anything?!" Chiron said, not wanting to go through another year of the Hunters defeating them.

"I have one." Thalia said, getting everyone's attention before she pointed at Jakob. "Unleash thunder face on them."

Jakob rose an eyebrow at her. "And who said I was joining? In the couple of years I've been here, when have I ever participated in one of these games?"

"You helped me against Clarisse." Andromeda pointed out.

"I got bored." Jakob shrugged. "And it was a one-off."

"You were my partner in the chariot race." Silena pointed out to her boyfriend.

"Well... I couldn't say no, could I?" Jakob smirked at her, making her giggle. "But it won't work this time. I have no interest in joining just to show them that I'm better, I already know I'm better. To play a game of something involving play fighting goes against my nature. I was trained to be an efficient warrior with no hesitation at going for the kill should I be fighting to do so, I didn't train to play a game that one could easily play in a Halo game."

"Jakob, please." Silena pouted at him with sad eyes. "Just this one time. You could also see how far each of us have come under your training, and have a chance at humiliating the Hunters."

"Baby, I do that enough by pissing them off. Plus, I wouldn't be able to promise that I'd hold back on hurting them. It's best I stay out of it, but I will watch from the trees if that helps. Besides, I have faith you all can win even without my help. I didn't train you for nothing after all." Jakob said.

"I suppose that's as good as anything." Thalia said, disappointed Jakob wouldn't join them but was happy he had faith in their ability to win.

Jakob placed his hands on the table, looking over the map. "Okay, what's the plan?"

"We set our flag at the top of Zeus's Fist." Andromeda said, tapping her finger at the area where Zeus' fist was located.

"It's a good place to set the flag. Beckendorf and the Stolls will be on guard duty." Annabeth added.

"Silena will be a decoy, lead as many of the Hunters away as you can while I lead the main party in going after their flag. Andie, you'll be with me. We'll catch the rest by surprise. Your water powers will come in handy." Thalia said, earning a nod from her cousin.

"I see. But there are a few problems in your planning, Thalia. No matter how well you know the forest, they will know it better seeing as they've hunted in forests and live in the wilderness. Next, they'll most likely have their faster member coming after the flag. I'd wager it'll be the princess who will be the most familiar with your tactics. And there is too much focus on offence than defence on your part. There must be a mutual focus, or they will snatch the flag quickly and have this game won." Jakob said. Thalia frowned, but nodded in understanding.

"Annabeth." Said Jakob, looking at her expectantly, wanting to see if her training's made off in strategizing.

"He's right on all points, Zoe is the one most likely to go after the flag, she's faster than any of us and will be prepared for anything we would have in store. As for Thalia's plan, it's good to have two groups, one serving as a distraction and the other to go for the flag. But the Hunters will expect it, so there should be a smaller third group moving quietly through the forest towards their flag, flanking them. As for who it should be, me and Bianca." Annabeth explained, with Bianca looking at her in surprise.

"Me?" Said Bianca, not expecting the Daughter of Athena to want her help in getting the flag.

"Yes. With the progress you've made, you'll be able to hide us in the shadows while my Invisibility Cap will help me be able to move ahead to check for any traps or Hunters lying in wait around their flag. I would be able to distract them long enough for you to slip in and grab the flag then jump into the shadows." Said Annabeth, confident they'd be able to get in close and get the flag if Thalia doesn't get to it in time.

"Katie, lay traps with your connection to plant life. Place them in positions the Hunters are most likely to come through for an ambush or flanking positions." Annabeth said, looking at the daughter of Demeter.

"Got it." Katie nodded.

"As for those guarding our own flag, Beckendorf and his brothers along with Connor and Travis, all of you will work together in setting up some defenses around the flag. As no offense to any of you, but Zoe wouldn't have much trouble getting past any of you, so the best we can do is slow her down along with any of the other Hunters that go with her." Annabeth said, looking at the demigods who'll be the guards.

"I'm sure we'll be able to think of a few ideas." Said Beckendorf with a smirk along with his brothers, getting some ideas for the traps they could create.

"Don't forget us, it'll be fun to get a few over on the Hunters." Travis said, him and Connor being eager at the chance to mess with the Hunters.

"Nico, you'll also be part of the guards since, like Bianca, you can hide in the shadows and move around them fast enough to distract the Hunters and keep them from reaching the flag." Said Annabeth, with Nico grinning and nodding.

"I'll make sure they don't even touch it!" Nico replied, eager to use his powers in a fight, even if it was just a game.

Annabeth then looked at Jakob to see what he thought of her plan, if it was good or anything needed to be improved, or if he had anything to add. Only to see the Son of Thor nodding in approval. Making her smile, pleased he approved her plan.

"One other thing, have another group following you and Bianca, have them act as cover while you two hide in the shadows. That way any Hunters you come across will be more focused in the demigods they can see and not the ones they can't." Jakob said, with Annabeth nodding in agreement, seeing it'd be good to further hide their movements.

With the campers feeling excited and much more confident that they'll really be able to defeat the Hunters this time.

I think I'll end it there, put the game into the next chapter.
