Temsen: I went and fixed that mistake.

superpierce: A. I went and fixed that bit about Medea and Atalanta. B. Jakob is very knowledgeable about Greek mythology. Zoe mentioned that Apollo is holding up the sky, so it's pretty easy for him to figure out that Atlas is free and he is the General since Atlas is and was Kronos' second in command during the Great War.

Guest02957: Thanks.

ArtistGamerMage: Have you seen what PJO Ares is like? He ain't exactly what the Greek mythology version of him is like.

hellfire45: Thanks.

Daua002: Same to you.

AlexBeowolf2: I've already got an idea for introducing the Aesir, or at least three of them.

Arch-Angel-Writer: Might be different than what you suggested.

22jward: Here you go.

KaidoFett: I'll do my best.

Disclaimer: I do not own God of War or Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

"So Medea, Atalanta and Kallisto are the ones who captured Apollo. How?" Thalia asked as she sat in the back of Argus' van with Annabeth, Silena, Grover and Zoe. Jakob and Artemis were in the front with Jakob driving and Artemis in shotgun.

They were on their way to Washington D.C., where the Hunters were ambushed. Jakob had stated that there may be a trail to pick up on and go from there.

"They didn't mention how they did it... but they took great delight in mentioning the torture they inflicted upon him." Zoe said, unable to help the shiver that ran through her body as she remembered Kallisto's insane gleam in her eyes, on her face, as she talked about how she... castrated Apollo as slowly as possible while he squirmed.

"They must've set a trap beforehand." Jakob reasoned with a small frown. "Which means they were expecting a God."

"They..." Zoe swallowed. "Medea did mention that they had been expecting Artemis to be who they'd catch, but... they got Apollo instead."

Artemis's eyes widened, realizing she would be in Apollo's position right now. They had been waiting for her. She shuddered to think what they would've done to her, especially Kallisto who would've made sure to make Artemis suffer.

"Medea is a gifted and powerful sorceress, being a follower of Hecate, she must've accessed magic that would help trap a God or even stun them, allowing Atalanta and Kallisto to ambush." Jakob continued, trying to figure it out. It was the only thing he could think of, given Medea's skill in the arcane arts, and there was magic out there capable of freezing even Gods in their place.

"He's right. Medea had been trained personally by Circe, learning everything she had to teach. Even among Hecate's most talented children and followers, few were ever able to reach her level." Artemis added.

"Magic is bullshit." Thalia said lowly with a shake of her head, finding magic to be annoying and powerful that it's broken.

"Perhaps, but it's a very powerful tool to have." Mimir said, having been sat on the dashboard by Jakob. "It's why Odin covets so much knowledge of the arcane arts, no matter how dangerous and forbidden. And once again, it goes back to his desire for control, as well as his attempts to avert Ragnarök."

"Okay, so we have a super powerful sorceress, two deadly hunters and a Titan. Not to mention anything or anyone else we'll encounter. Great..." Silena muttered dryly, feeling like this quest would be a death sentence if they didn't have Jakob and Artemis with them.

"Better than not knowing who we're up against. Now that we know who our foes will be on this journey, we will have time to prepare and plan if we face them." Jakob pointed out, which no one could really argue with.

"It'd still be good to have a plan in the event we encounter them, and for when we find Apollo." Said Annabeth, preferring if they had a plan to fall back on.

"Annabeth, when it comes to situations like this there are four very simple steps to follow. Make the plan, execute the plan, expect the plan to go off the rails…then throw away the plan." Said Jakob, holding up a finger for each step, much to the Daughter of Athena's disbelief.

"Th-that's…that's terrible advice! You can't just go into a dangerous situation like this without being prepared!" Annabeth said.

"I believe what the boy is trying to say is that no matter what plan is created, it's impossible to be prepared for everything. It is highly likely we will encounter something unexpected, something none of us would be prepared for. Leaving us helpless of what to do, when it happens." Zoe said, with the redhead nodding in response.

"The princess gets it. The only thing we can really do is be prepared for anything and expect everything to go wrong, that way we won't be caught off-guard when something unexpected tries killing us." Jakob said, while the blonde demigod couldn't help but cover her face.

"Why didn't you just say that." Annabeth muttered while shaking her head.

"To be fair Annabeth, on all the quests we've been on a lot of unexpected stuff have happened." Grover stated, thinking of the quest to find the Master Bolt then the Sea of Monsters, even just trying to bring Bianca and Nico to camp, all of them had a lot of unexpected surprises.

"Yeah Annie. Just think of it like when we were kids, be ready to stab anything that moves." Added Thalia while smirking at her, only for Annabeth to look at her blankly, knowing she's referring to when she attacked her and Luke with a hammer.

Before the Daughter of Zeus yelped when Annabeth suddenly jabbed her in the side, making the ravenette flinch while giving her an annoyed look.

"Why'd you-" Thalia said, only for Annabeth to jab her again.

"You said be ready to stab anything that moves, you were moving. It's not my fault if you weren't specific." Annabeth stated with her own smirk, only to yelp herself when Silena suddenly jabbed her next.

"Oh sorry, I just saw you moving Annie and wanted to show I was ready." Said Silena, smiling all too innocently when the blonde looked at her in annoyance.

"Don't you start!" Warned Annabeth, not wanting to have Silena calling her that nickname too.

"Would you three act seriously?!" Zoe said in annoyance at how childish they're acting.

Only for the three demigods to look at the Huntress before they all began trying to jab her next, much to Zoe's growing annoyance as she tried keeping them back.

"You're enjoying this far too much." Said Artemis, looking at Jakob with narrowed eyes as he smirked at the sight.

"It's better than having everything be all doom and gloom. Lighten up, stressing over it isn't going to make things go any faster." Jakob said with a shrug, knowing it's good to have moments to relax otherwise they'd start freaking out waiting for something to happen.

Artemis could only sigh as she turned forward, already feeling this was going to be a long trip.

Jakob glanced at the sky, seeing that it'll be turning to sunset soon. His attention shifted when the van began slowing down.

"Fuck." Jakob sighed, seeing the petrol meter was very, very low. How often did this van get out?

"What is it?" Silena asked, noticing that they were slowing down.

Jakob tapped the meter. "We're nearly out of petrol. Luckily, we're not far from a gas station."

"We aren't even out of Manhattan yet and we have to deal with low gas?" Thalia groaned. "The Fates are against us."

"Or the Norns." Mimir chuckled.

Pulling up at a nearby gas station, Jakob and his companions got out with the Son of Thor taking some mortal money out and tossing the bag to Thalia. "Go buy some snacks for the road. I'll handle the gas.

"Thanks babe." Thalia said, kissing his cheek. This surprised Artemis and Zoe, but they were even more surprised when Annabeth and Silena also kissed Jakob, with Silena's being on the lips, before the girls went into the store.

"Grover, could you perform a tracking spell? The trail might be faint here, but a tracking spell should easily pick it up." Jakob requested, getting a nod from the Satyr before he closed his eyes as he focused on his Satyr magic.

Seeing the stares of the two women, Jakob narrowed his eyes. "What?"

"What was that?" Artemis asked with a frown.

Jakob rolled his eyes. "Oh don't start getting lippy. I'll put it to you in a way you'll hate... I'm in a shared relationship with six girls."

"Six?!" Zoe gaped at him while Artemis's jaw dropped. "You... you-!"

"Hey, it's not cheating. They all had feelings for me and I had feelings for them, and my heart couldn't rest with just one." Jakob said with a shake of his head. "Plus, don't Gods usually take multiple lovers?"

"That's... it's... I don't even..." Artemis pinched the bridge of her nose. "You are the most..."

"Oh don't start coming at me with your sexiest views, we've been over this." Jakob cut her off. "I tried to resist, but the heart wants what it wants. And it was Silena's idea in the first place. She'd rather share me than see me or the others in pain and heartbreak."

"That's surprising for a Daughter of Aphrodite." Zoe muttered, but Jakob shot her a look.

"I heard that. look, I don't care if either of you like it, it is what it is. Don't make me regret giving you my help if you're going to critise my relationship, which is none of your business by the way." Jakob told the two firmly, making them frown but they said nothing more.

So?" Jakob said, looking at Grover to see what his tracking spell came up with.

"I'm…at least eighty-five percent certain we're going the right way." Said Grover, only for the redhead to raise a brow.

"You're certain or you're sure?" Said Jakob.

"S-su-sure! I'm sure we're going the right way!" Grover said while nodding, making Jakob nod as he started the van.

"Good. Let that be a lesson, never doubt your own abilities, if you do then no one else will have faith in them." Jakob said, looking at the demigods and satyr as he spoke, knowing it's important to not doubt what you can do.

"I don't understand why we aren't just heading for Mount Othrys. We know that's where Apollo is, we shouldn't be wasting time going somewhere else." Artemis stated, knowing the more time they waste the longer her twin remains trapped and who knows what else is happening to him.

"And that's why I'm in charge. Could we just head straight to Mount Othrys? Yes. But then we could miss something. Like the Ophiotaurus." Said Jakob, making the Moon Goddess look at him with wide eyes.

"How did you-Odin. Of course." Said Artemis, wondering how he knew about the Ophiotaurus before remembering Odin likely knew about it.

"Yep, the Bane of Olympus. You mentioned you were tracking an old monster and the only one I can think of that'd require you personally, plus with the Titans rising, is the Ophiotaurus. Plus the Manticore wanted to capture Bianca and Nico, children of the Big Three, so one of them could kill it and get the power to destroy Olympus. Since you Greeks just love your prophecies and follow them like they're gospel." Jakob said, with Artemis frowning at him.

"It's listening to prophecies is how we've survived for so long and stopped threats that would destroy us." Artemis said, only for the Son of Thor to snort in response.

"Tell that to grandpa. He was told his kids were overthrow him and tried stopping it, yet look where he ended up. Then that little oath Skirt Chase Sr. and his brothers made to stop a prophecy, that certainly didn't stop two of them. Even the prophecy about Thetis' son, your dad and uncle both tried stopping it only to make things worse." Said Jakob, as the others looked between them.

"How did that make things worse? That prophecy just said Thetis would have a son greater than his father." Annabeth said, confused at how that made things worse.

"Let me answer that question with another question. What lead to the Trojan War?" Jakob asked, getting more confused looks.

"Paris…kidnapping Helen of Sparta…because he chose my mom as fairest of all." Said Silena while sighing, aware her mother had a hand in causing the Trojan War.

"And what lead to that stupid contest?" Questioned Jakob.

"Eris wasn't invited to the wedding of Thetis and Peleus, so she threw the…golden apple…into the…room…" Annabeth said before realization dawned on her.

"And why exactly were Thetis and Peleus married in the first place?" Jakob said as Thalia and Silena soon realized what he's getting at.

"Because…my dad and Poseidon…chose to marry Thetis to Peleus…because of a prophecy." Thalia said, leaning back against her seat, feeling annoyed at realizing it all lead back to a prophecy again.

"Exactly." Jakob said before glancing at Artemis, who simply looked resigned at how it was her family's fault.

"And all of it leads right back to when Paris was born and a prophecy was given that he'd be the downfall of Troy, with King Priam sending him off to be raised by a shepherd. And then Zeus, because he was too scared to choose the fairest, instead sent Hermes to find the first farmer he could to be the judge. That makes two prophecies that ended up being fulfilled because someone tried preventing them from coming true." Jakob said, with everyone being silent at the realization.

"The only real prophecy is a self-fulfilling one, by letting it dictate your choices you're already dooming yourself. And trust me, many orphecies have come to pass because of people trying to avert them, only to end up fulfilling them in the process." Mimir stated as they all thought over their words.

Suddenly, a man laughed, catching their attention. However, Jakob stiffened and froze as he recognised the laugh, the insanity in it, and he slowly turned with the others following his gaze.

There stood a man of average height and has an extremely lean, hard physique. His most striking features are his woad-blue tattoos of Norse runes, which coat large portions of his limbs and torso and his eyes, which are distinctly icy blue.

He has handsome (if haggard) features, with a beaded but unkempt dirty blonde beard and a shaggy, beaded horse-mane hairstyle. He wears a reddish belt, he also wears an elite tracking hip pouch that carries important hunting items to better track prey, and a thin string of charms over a torn tanned apron made from a nasty ogre, which is worn over loose, black cloth pants, bound at the calves with brown leather straps, He also wears a Twilight Pendant. He wears no top and no shoes, He's worn linen breeches over his legs and feet help keep him fairly nimble in battle.

The man grinned, looking directly at jakob who stared back with wide eyes. "Hello... dear nephew."

This made the eyes of everyone else widen, realizing this was one of Jakob's uncles. Jakob swallowed as he stared at his uncle.

"Uncle Baldur..."

DUN! DUN! DUN! Yep, Baldur is here and you know it ain't gonna be a heartwarming family reunion at all! I'm going to try and blend in the inclusion of Baldur, Magni and Modi into the quest, make it a little similar to God of War 4, so don't expect Baldur, Magni and Modi to pop up much during the quest.

I was trying to find a way to introduce the Aesir, but figured this way may be better. Plus, the story's so far in that I felt any way to introduce them would work.

But this is only Baldur, and Jakob's brothers have been confirmed... we've yet to see Thor and Odin. But they'll most likely be introduced the same way they were in God of War Ragnarök. I'm trying to blend the plotline of the two Norse games into a modern-day setting, which is not easy.

Also, I've decided that I won't be going ahead with the Ancient Greece idea. I am intending to make A Demigod's Family, though not sure whether it'll be an OC/Athena/Aphrodite story, or OC/Athena/Aphrodite/Artemis fic, and since it's Family-centered, still working on if there should be a big threat to deal with since the story will take place before the events of the books.

I'm also thinking of doing PJO fics with single pairings, like with has Jakob paired with Artemis, another with Athena, not sure about Aphrodite, heck maybe one with Hera or Hestia. I'm also thinking of another fic that's OC x Athena x Aphrodite x Artemis, but not sure whether that'll be with Jakob Thorsson or my avatar of King Ghidorah OC from my Godzilla/DxD fic.

Hell, I'm also thinking of doing Spawn/Percy Jackson crossovers with my OC Nathan Nolan, with the same ideas and pairings as I implanted for Jakob Thorsson!

I hate it when these ideas all pop in at once, leaves me with a headache.

But let me know what you all think, leave your own suggestions towards these ideas if you need to.

Also, last note; I'm planning on bringing back my Devil May Cry/Percy Jackson series featuring the OC son of Dante and Artemis, who is renamed to Alexander Lycaeus Redgrave. Not sure on the pairing of the story, since I'm debating between Silena or Thalia.

Let me know what you all think, as well as the other ideas... fuck 2025 is gonna be a busy year for me.
