A/N: This oneshot was an idea I came up with as I thought it would be a funny and cute scenario. And I think it would be best if Gwen was being a superhero in San Francisco as a way of starting over with her new life as an Earth 616 vigilante.

"Hey, Gwen!" Ami called as she came to see her at school. The blonde girl walked up to her casually (trying to not act stupid).

"Hey Ami, gotta say, this is the fifth time you've come to see me. Watch out or people will get suspicious", she winked.

"I don't mind if there'll be the kind of rumors I'm hoping", she smirked. Gwen laughed at that flirt attempt, mentally pleading her cheeks not to turn pink.

As the two walked into town like they recently normalized every time Gwen was done with her classes, Gwen felt a bit fidgety.

It wasn't because she was uncomfortable, she never felt that around the white-haired Asian, she just found it strange to take strolls around San Francisco with someone keeping her company.

Most would think she was too introverted to have another person with her, but the increased heart rate and sapphic music intruding her thoughts by Ami's presence just made it so oddly sweet.

"So, I was wondering if you're busy tonight".

Gwen froze, this had to be another daydream, she thought. Their surroundings seemed too real but maybe she misheard. Looking at the Asian girl with widened eyes. "W-what did you say?"

"I was asking if you're free tonight?" Ami repeated, giving a soft gentle smile. Gwen felt like a computer that just started malfunctioning. All that came out of her mouth was, "Uuuuhhh…".

"I mean, I know you have 'work' but I was hoping…since crime is low lately-".

"YES!" Gwen accepted (loud enough for other people to stare at her for a few seconds) before clearing her throat. "I mean, where do you want to take me?"

"My temporary apartment in Chinatown. Like movie night maybe?"

"…Sure! I'd love to see your…carpet!" Gwen's DNA voices were making tsk tsk sounds out of shame at her making a fool of herself.

Blue: Keep running that mouth.

Pink: Yeah, I'm sure you still need to try convincing her how weird you are.

Ami just gave a soft but sweet giggle. "I'm glad, but I'd prefer we watch the movie from my couch. I'll text you the address".

"So, you have plans that don't involve being Ghost Spider?" Wanda Maximoff asked. Gwen should've known her employer at her part-time job in a workshop would be suspicious. The assumption that her boss could read minds wouldn't be surprising since she was an actual witch.

"Oh", she gasped softly, "I see…you have a date".

"HAH!" Darcy exclaimed triumphantly. "I told you she was seeing someone! Even in her suit, she was glowing".

Wanda sighed and handed her other employee twenty dollars. Gwen furrowed her eyebrows in disbelief.

"You guys have been betting on me?!".

Ami was at the apartment, setting everything up and cleaning the place. Popcorn was ready as well as soda. Gwen was an introvert, so she needed to be comfortable while they were hanging out.

There was a knock on the window. She walked to the living room to find her expected guest on the fire escape, politely waiting to be invited in. Ami's ears and tail popped up as an indication of her excitement and butterflies in her stomach.

As Gwen was brought in, she had a bag filled with blankets. Ami arched an eyebrow. "Gwen…isn't it a bit too warm for blankets?"

"Well, how do you watch rom-coms?"

Ami snorted, "Since when did you become a rom-com person?"

Gwen seemed confused. "Isn't that how movie night was gonna go?"

"I planned on watching an action movie instead. Don't worry, I made sure it came with English subtitles", Kumiho smiled proudly. To her, it seemed like a good idea, keeping Gwen entertained and having something to scream in fearful excitement. No way would she make her watch chick flicks or Kdramas. She was too punk for that.

Gwen's eyes widened before she smiled in…embarrassment. She seemed…disappointed, relieved, and then sighed.

It was probably her complex feelings. She'll ask after the movie. "I just know you will like Ballerina".

"That animated movie set in Paris?"

"…No, it's a South Korean action film about a secret agent woman".

A/N: I'm not from South Korea but even I can understand how annoying it must be when some foreigner assumes that individuals from South Korea only watch kramas and K-pop music videos.
